《Dawn Of The Lilies》Impossible

"Aw... dad come on..." whined Taehyung as he hung upside down from a tree. He didn't want to go to the warehouse. He was so sick and tired of training. They always yelled at him, making Taehyung feel like garbage. All because he wanted to climb trees and play with the little animals that lived in them.

"I know you don't like it but it isn't a choice. It is your duty to the Burrow." His dad stated calmly reaching to pull the lanky boy from the tree. Instead Taehyung flipped off the limb landing on his feet in a crouched position. He smirked up at his father who shook his head, a smile showing in his tired eyes, that challenged his stern look.

"Come on."

Taehyung stood up brushing off his green shirt and khaki pants. His dad patted his shoulder as they began to walk down the street. Within the tree line a squirrel perked its head up as they walked by, Taehyung waved his hand low at it. As if to say not right now. It nodded with understanding and ran off soon after.

"The creatures still talk to you Tae?" His dad asked curious. Taehyung just shrugged not wanting to admit that they did. They told him many times that it wasn't wise. He worked under the enemy who had stolen everything from them. So that left Taehyung torn. He never understood what happened back when he was just an infant. His dad never talked about it other than that Taehyung was the only one who could talk to the creatures. They had been lost to them after the Dawn of Lilies.

"Ah... that's a shame..." he sounded disappointed his face going slack. Which only meant that he was trying to read Taehyung's mind.

Box ...box...box...box...

"Stop that!" His dad complained smacking his arm. Taehyung scowled rubbing the spot where he was hit.

"Get out of my head old man." He shot back. His dad looked at him curiously.

"What gave me away this time."

"Same as before." Taehyung said as he skipped along ahead of the elder. The man frowned pursing his lips in contemplation. He was told how to keep from showing he was using his ability, and it worked. However, not on Taehyung.

He watched his son skip along carefree. If only he could keep him that way. Alas... Mr. Wang demanded he bring him now. Which only meant the other boy was close to being ready. Briggs must be drilling him harder and harder with no breaks. No teenage boy could master such skills in such a short period of time. He sighed deeply, his old bones were tired, and just didn't want to deal with what was to come. The last time nearly killed his whole family. 19 years of unsanctioned peace, to be disturbed yet again by a power hungry imbecile.

"Dad?" Taehyung questioned tilting his head to the side, his short blonde hair shifting. He looked up to see the warehouse. "Ah...we are here.." the elder cleared his throat while scanning his key card, as the door slid into the wall. Taehyung's mouth fell open. He had never seen anything like it. Must of been a new upgrade in tech. Which means the engineers were hard at work. Because, that door wasn't like that last week. His dad smirked at him, as they walked down a dark hallway with lights cut into it. Their steps echoed with each passing movement.

"Austin, what took so long...." The man growled when they stepped into the office. There were scrolls scattered across his desk, and vials of liquids lined up on the shelves close by. Dusty old books laid in piles in each corner. You'd think it would be clean here, but it was damp and earthy smelling. Which made Taehyung comfortable, but put his dad in a state of unease.

"Taehyung didn't want to get out of the tree again..."

Wang clicked his tongue against his teeth, shaking a finger at him. "Bad boy...." He vanished from his seat. Appearing seconds later right in Taehyung's face. His hot cinnamon breath washing over the boy.

"Amari?" He said flatly. Taehyung shook his head no. Wang grabbed his chin glaring hard at him, as if to draw a different answer. Taehyung began to shake. "I...I..ca..can..can't.."

"Where is he!?!" He demanded sharply squeezing harder on Taehyung's chin, He whimpered trying to look over to his dad for help. But, the man was staring straight ahead. No one crossed Wang. No one could.

"Did you try to get in his head?" Wang snapped at Giles.

"He blocked me..."

"He blocked you?" Wang laughed menacingly before jerking Taehyung's head and slammed it against the wall, bringing his lips to his ear. Taehyung saw white lights swim in his vision from the impact. Hot tears pooled and fell down his bruising cheeks.

"Disobedient child! Where is he!!! He was supposed to return two moons ago! I need to find him."

Taehyung groaned as the pain shot through his head. "I don't know.... They won't talk to me..." he tried to sound confident but his voice cracked.

Wang smirked then vanished into thin air causing Taehyung to fall to the ground. "Oof.." Giles ran over to him to help him up. "I'm... sorry son.." he murmured guiltily. Taehyung shook his head.

"Who is Amari dad?" Taehyung asked as they walked down to the training room. Giles stopped short. "You mean...you actually don't know him?" He asked surprised.

"No..." Taehyung stated.

"It's best if you don't." He then opened the door to the training room. The instructor Briggs stood with his hands behind his back tapping his foot patiently.

"Begin." The man commanded. Like a flash of light, the boy came out of nowhere. He ran along the wall, and flipped into an air assault kick which obliterated the defenseless mannequin. Taehyung cringed that boy couldn't be real. Beside him his father stood gawking at the boy. A pang of jealousy ran through him. Hiis father wanted a son like the boy running around destroying everything his hands came into contact with. But, he had him instead. A weak, lanky boy who talked to animals, and creatures that no one believed existed anymore. Except for maybe Mr Wang... But, Taehyung could sense his intentions weren't pure.

"HALT" Commanded Instructor Briggs at which Jungkook stopped instantly. Taehyung watched confused. How the hell did he stop like that. His fist was inches from the mannequins blank face. At the speed he was moving it was impossible to stop that way. Was he the one everyone talked about in class? The robot boy.
