Rambling to no one in particular, taehyung tried hard to get himself out of bed. He stepped towards the bathroom--

and he realised that jungkook had already dressed him up and brought to their shared room which was not too far from the tent. He stepped towards bathroom while wincing slightly at the pain between his legs.

"I hate him...."He sighed entering the bathroom and closed the door behind.

"I love him....but still I hate him right now. I'm too tired to do anything and.......hungry too.

I miss him already~"

He whined to himself while trying not to cry like a baby he is. As he proceeded to take his shirt off,a ruffling sound startled him and he started to check around in slight fear.

A well built figure appeared from behind the showerglass and his breath hitched,

"H-how........Y-you were-"

"Need help,babe?"

Jungkook came out of the shower,picking the younger up bridal style and settled him on the counter behind.

He leaned closer,placing both arms by the sides of tae so as to cage him completely.

"So after the first night of love_you say you hate me now"he continued whispering close to tae,determined to take advantage of the chance he got.

".....hmm....wasn't I good enough,butter butt?"

Words were stuck in taehyung's throat. Jungkook_looking hot as fvck_now talking dirty that too with a new nickname! Poor boy was totally intimidated by the other one.

"But you missed me first thing in the morning, right? So I guess that's not the case"He took off the shirt first,leaving tae in his boxers only. He was loving the effect he has on the gorgeous creature in front of him.

"Do you want another round right---

He winced feeling a good punch on his head and looked up to taehyung in confusion.

"Why did you hit me!"

But his anger faded in no time looking at his cute babe with fist ready to punch him twice, tempting pout on his lips and anger that looked way cuter than intimidating to jungkook.

"You left me alone this morning and expect me to do everything on my own. Then you dare to leave a note telling me to get ready and come upto you. You didn't even took out the pills for me but ordered me to take myself from the drawer! Do you know that it actually sounded like a jerk?" He blurted out at once,now sulking down in front of elder.

Jungkook couldn't help but laugh at his cuteness. It took him a minute to compose himself as he replied,

"Tae, you really thought I'll leave you alone by yourself after the first night?

I'm not that much of a jerk,you know?

Dad texted me early in the morning to join him for the breakfast. He wanted to have an important talk with me and joon hyung about some stuff. So I had to leave but then I decided why not to enjoy my babe a little?

And see,I got to hear you confessing about me first thing in the morning! It was worth it,"

Before taehyung could whine further,he handed him the brush and went to prepare the bathtub for him.

It took about an hour for them to get out of the bathroom due to continuous bickering like grown-up babies. Jungkook helped him to get into the outfit for today,while he proceeded to chose one for himself.

A knock interrupted the couple in the meantime. Jungkook opened the door to find jumping eunwoo at the doorsteps.

"I ᗯᗩᑎT TO ᗰᗴᗴT ᗩᑎᘜᗴᒪ! ᗯᕼᗴᖇᗴ IՏ ᕼᗴ?"not giving chance for jungkook to reply,he made his way into the room and rushed to taehyung.

"I ᗰIՏՏᗴᗪ YOᑌ ᗩᑎᘜᗴᒪ! ᒪᗴTՏ ᘜO OᑌT ᗩᑎᗪ ᑭᒪᗩY,"he said hugging the male dearly.

"Let's go babyy. I missed my angel too!"he stood up after taking eunwoo's hand by his side.

"We'll wait outside. Come fast,"he told jungkook who just nodded with a smile.

The duo went out,giggling and playing with each other.

Few minutes passed and jungkook hurriedly came out,very well aware that his tae is still hungry. The moment he stepped outside,eunwoo gasped while taehyung couldn't take his eyes off of his boyfriend.

"ᖴIᑎᗩᒪᒪY YOᑌ'ᖇᗴ ᒪOOKIᑎᘜ ᕼᗩᑎᗪՏOᗰᗴ TOᗪᗩY!"

And taehyung giggled at the little monster sitting by him.

"Finally? Actually your jin dad has raised your standard way too much for handsomeness,little boy!"Jungkook retorted to defense his ego right away.

"It's not your fault though. Now let's go,your angel is starving."

"OK!"

And they headed to nearby restaurant for a peaceful breakfast. Jungkook too,had a round two with both of them.

They decided to spend rest of the time in a park,where tae was ordered to sit somewhere while jungkook kept running and playing with eunwoo. Together,their time was filled with laughter and joy__the perfect memories to add with the trip.

Two hours passed in a blink,and now it was time for their flight_back to Seoul.

Packing the lugguage carefully, everyone arrived at the airport. A private plane was ready waiting for them and the flight took off from the island_carrying loads of happiness,contentment and hopes for a fresh start.

After about three hours,the flight safely landed. The couples after getting off of the plane,took one car each for their residences_that were waiting earlier for their arrival.

Jungkook took the keys from his driver and gestured him to leave. Taking taehyung with him,the couple drove off towards the Jeons mansion.

"Do you want to eat out,tae? It's past the lunch time anyways,"he asked focusing on the busy roads ahead.

"I'm not that hungry. I want to rest,"

Taehyung was still feeling sleepy and kept rubbing his eyes.

"I want to cuddle with you~"

Jungkook glanced to his side and smirked looking at the sleepy tae.

"I'm driving tae,just few more minutes."

Soon they parked at the mansion. Jungkook got off and rushed to other side. Taking tae bridal style,he tossed the keys to driver and went straight upstairs into their room.

"Let's get you changed first,"he helped younger to change into some comfy clothes and he took off his clothes leaving the boxers on with a sweatpant.

In no time,taehyung dozed off peacefully while hugging him tightly. Jungkook kept stroking the silky hairs of younger till sleep overtook him for a some good rest.

Jihwan was busy looking through some files to catch up about work when a call interrupted him.

"Mr.Jeon speaking,who's this?"

Few moments of silence and he ended the call abruptly. Throwing files somewhere in the room,he hurriedly left the mansion while calling certain someone.

He drove off towards the highways and in a matter of minutes parked across the hospital building.

"Dad? What's wrong? Why did you ask me to meet you here?"joon rushed upto the said male just on cue.

"Nancy has been attacked near dawn. Her condition isn't good son,"He said leading the other male towards specific VIP ward.

"What? How is it possible? We ensured her safety before leaving the city!"

"It won't matter when that bastard is still roaming around like a beast out there.

We don't know what he'll do next. But he's planning something big to revenge for his lost pride."

"Dad,he'll try with everything he has now. It's his last chance for survival and we surely can't take any risk.

What should we do now?"

Both the males halted in front of the VIP ward where Nancy was kept under surgeon's surveillance.

"Let's discuss this at home. We need to check upon her first," and they entered the room to find her unconscious, a look of defeat on her face after struggling so long for her life.

Backstabbing her husband could've been a real difficult thing for her to do. She was the one who protected taehyung amidst the bloodbath caused by his devil husband and again she was the one who brought all of them alive from his Burning Den last time. She left his side right after taehyung was adopted by jin's parents. Living a decent and ordinary life was what she preferred over luxuries of the devil she married.

It may have been her way to repent the sins she witnessed without blinking an eye until she saw taehyung_a child who unnoticingly changed her life.

But the look on her face at this moment was hopeless. Feeling defeated..... that this lifetime wasn't enough for her to pay for the sins she witnessed while standing by her husband's side. It was the feeling of remorse.

Suddenly she tried hard to open her eyes and gestured the attending nurse to come near. She apparently said something to her that was a mere whisper. The nurse nodded and came towards jihwan to relay her massage,

"She wants to meet Kim Taehyung.You need to hurry up,she doesn't have much time left."

And with this both the males stared at her in disbelief. They had no idea as to how taehyung would handle the info, that too if it seriously concerns the lady counting her last breaths on a hospital bed.

Joon hurriedly fished out his phone,hands shaking in disbelief. Jihwan stepped closer towards the bed unless he was standing beside Nancy.

It looked like she was gathering all her energy and courage just to see taehyung for the last time. She was trying her best to hang in there until then.

After failing for two times,the call was connected and joon waited for someone to pick up.

"Hyung? Can we talk-"

"Jungkookah...

Nancy_s-she didn't have much time left. She was attacked. She wants to meet taehyung. Be quick,please..."

There was a moment of silence and the call was abruptly hung up. Joon decided to head back to jihwan, while waiting for the duo to arrive.

Jungkook couldn't tell anything to younger and he ordered him to get into the car suddenly. He took the keys from driver while in another second_ they were driving off the highways.

Taehyung decided to stay silent for the time being,sensing elders tension and nervousness. Soon they parked at the same hospital and taehyung started to panic. He remembered the hospital where Nancy was supposed to be kept for her treatment after that accident.

He was froze...trying to contemplate what's going on. Jungkook grabbed him by his wrist, dragging through the hallways in front of the same VIP ward.

He turned towards younger who had no expressions on his face. Cupping his face lovingly for a brief moment he prepared tae for what was coming through this door,

"She needs you tae, be strong for her babe. You can do it,I know!"

"Stay by my side....please~"taehyung whispered with a storm of vulnerability in his brown orbs and jungkook could feel how hurt he already was.

He took jungkook's hand,holding it tightly and opened the door.

All eyes were set on the duo. He took halting steps towards the bed,elder closely following him behind.

"N-Nancy...."

She smiled before opening her eyes to see the one she desperately was waiting for.

"Tae.......my taebear......"She smiled again, but few tears escaped her hopeless eyes that were now filled with love and adoration for someone.

"I owe the greatest apology to you,son.

Even if--- I don't deserve it...I want to beg for my forgiveness in.....this moment.

Taebear.......your mom used to call you by this name......everyday.....everytime she was tortured there.

She loved dohyun with all she had. She would.....never sacrifice the efforts dohyun did all his life----by losing to her emotions at last. Being adamant on not giving up,she decided to endure....... everything with him. But every single moment,she called you--missed you. She was not being selfish,taehyungah......She was a great lady and wife who---- taught you many things without actually teaching you anything.

I've seen hundreds of bloodbath in front of my eyes, never flinching an inch at the wickedness of him. But that day........I just couldn't do it anymore.

He was like a wild beast that day......using all his cheap and evil tortures to pain them both. You can't imagine....what I've seen dear........

Then I heard him ordering his trusted men to bring-- you to him. And I was well aware what limits he could cross.....when his pride is at stake in front of dohyun.

That's when I realized......I do loved him.....But what he was going to do the moment you would be in his hands---just the thought made me shiver in disgust and fear.

I left him--that day---for ever.....

I sneaked to the basement where dohyun was kept with your mom. I...asked her...tried to convince her that I won't hurt you but I really wanted to protect you....But they didn't believe me.

It was obvious. They can't believe me when I just witnessed everything by that bastard's side all that time.

I packed some essentials and left the mansion same night. I---------" she couldn'tcontinue as her breathing was getting more and more ragged.

But she was determined to keep going and that's what she did.

"I knew you were..... at your granny's place. It was hard--but I--somehow got info about her place.

I guess....there were still--some men who remembered...... to return my favour on right time...."She chuckled and took a deep breath.

"The second I set my foot in her frontyard....I saw few cars screeching to halt nearby. I knew----they were his men.

It was impossible..... to save you both and I decided what seemed right that time. I---took you with me,sedated you and sneaked successfully. All I heard was----- a gunshot and I knew what that really meant.

You were scared...at first---but then eventually got along with the reality.

I loved you--- taebear....more than I could've loved my own son. 'Cause you were----born by two purest souls I've ever met. I can't---be forgiven in this lifetime.....But I wanted to beg for it son.

Looks like I don't have much time.....just know that----I adore you and loved...you...my whole life thereafter.

And silence enveloped the air next moment,only to get interrupted by a constant beep echoing through the walls.

She was gone.

And taehyung was broken.

More than he thought he would.

Taehyung wanted to take a walk outside. He wasn't sure how to react to such tragedy that happened few hours ago. Nancy was gone Forever. The lady who brought hopes and cheers in taehyung's miserable life_a life with mysterious death of his parents.

He knew,what Nancy has done for him was not easy for her at all. She gave her everything up and chose to hold hand of the same little boy.....whose parents were practically killed in front of her.

It must've been painful for her _to look at the same boy every time and remember the horrible memories again, of the past that she was trying to escape. But she did it...till her last breath.

It was too much for taehyung to take in and he sure needed some time. Jungkook agreed to him but sent two of his personal guards to follow him sneakily. He won't risk youngers life at any cost. Especially when the mafia is still roaming freely somewhere.

Jihwan with his both sons was in the study, once again.

"Dad,why aren't you getting my point?"

Jungkook said with desperation,as jihwan stood facing his back to both his sons.

"We can't ensure tae's safety by sending him away like that!"

"You need to think wisely, jungkookah!

Don't get blinded by your feelings,"the said male retorted now turning around.

"Darco knew exactly when and how to attack Nancy, and we lost to him. We fvcking lost her even after planning it all out! How will you guarantee the safety of taehyung_who is definitely his next and bigger target?"

"Dad is right,jungkook."

Joon patted the younger while agreeing to his father.

"It's too much of risk. Besides,Dr.Yang agreed to take him and stay with him for the whole time. You know it'll be safe,just give in already. "

"Hyung! You can't say this,out of all people. How am I supposed to live when I can't know his whereabouts, what's he doing,how is he doing? You want me to leave everything to our fate and let him go just like that?"

"Jungkook!"jihwan warned the younger who was too blinded by anger to realise he's talking to his hyung.

"Better watch your tone son! This is for taehyung's sake,why don't you get this?"

"Dad,are you-"he was interrupted when the door to study was flung open. Taehyung entered with redshot eyes, pursed dry lips and looking like a wrecked mess.

Jungkook couldn't help but tear up at the sight,silence not leaving the air around them. Taehyung moved closer to the elder,and hugged him tightly_taking all of them off guard.

"Let me go,kookie. I don't want to be your weakness by staying here anymore.

I want to return as your biggest strength in this lifetime. I need time and you need this chance to drag that piece of sh*t down to hell.

Just promise me one thing....you'll come back and get me,for sure!"

Jungkook pulled younger closer if that was even possible. They both sobbed endlessly in each other's arms. It was fated and bound to happen.

They needed to fall apart for a short time_just to be back together as a whole blazing fire.

A fire that'll erase the pitch darkness of their pasts with millions of sparkles of their love.

"I promise love,I'll come."
