Doctors were running certain tests to specify taehyung's condition. Jungkook, joon, jihwan and minho were outside the examination room,impatiently waiting for the results.

Jungkook ordered his pack members to head back and handle the matters if any rises and most importantly _to keep searching of that fvcking mafia who managed to escape once again.

"Well,"minho said clearing his throat that drew everyone's attention to him now.

"You don't need to thank me,joon!"

There was a moment of silence before joon chuckled at the nerve this boy has got! Still playing around when the situation is not so good with taehyung being unconscious since two hours...

"You should've at least waited for a bit longer,minho. I was going to enlighten these two royalties with your exceptionally applausible work few hours back!"

Both the males laughed at their silly convo and joon turned to look at confused faces of his dad and worriedly sick brother.

"Dad,jungkook....The fact that we made out of that mafias Dane safely and myung-jun failing in his mission is because this person helped me greatly today"joon said patting the shoulder of said male who was grinning widely at the praise.

"That's true son,but what the hell happened with you? Why were you here and not the one to pick up tae from that park?"

"When I was on the way to get tae, I noticed a car following me closely. Once I was away from the crowd, that same car sped up and blocked my way with no efforts. I got out of my seat, only to see myung-jun and minho getting out of the other car,not to forget the cocky smirks they had_"

"Yaah! That was just an act I had to put on,ok?"minho defended himself.

"Whatever! Though I struggled a lot but these two got me in their car with the help of quick sedative. And I guess that's how taehyung was brought in the same factory as mine.

Minho did acted well along with my brother, I thought I was really going to die. But as soon as myung-jun spilled the truth and took out the grudges he held on me for all these years,he left minho with me not before passing an order to just shoot & get rid of me.

That's when minho told me he'll free me from this hell and took me to where you guys would probably be having encounter"joon smiled looking at the careless man beside him as he continued,

"Dad,he got some guts to betray the mafia he served all his life for! Well...at least he remembered our past favours in his private businesses. I'm glad he's not forgetful at least. "

"You're right. I can never forget the ones who helped me get out of deadly crisis once,when that mafia didn't even cared for me the same time. And.....won't ever dare to forget how this leader of both business and mafia world saved my mom's life during the fight three years back,"he stated in a low tone,eyes full of respect for the male he's looking at_Jeon Jungkook.

"That was my duty,minho. You need not to mention it, "Jungkook said now stepping towards his father who seemed lost in a trance.

"Dad,can you tell us who exactly Nancy is? And how did she knew about all these matters?"

Jihwan glanced at three men standing around him,all curious to know the fact finally getting enlightened,

"She's...... Mrs.NANCY CARTIER,only wife of DARCO CATRIER."

"The three men blurted out in complete disbelief.

I mean,does this make sense?

The dearest wife of a ruthless mafia, was a mother figure to taehyung, whose own parents died in the tragedy because of the same heartless soul she belongs to?

This was in no imagination for any of them.

Absolutely absurd.

"Dad,you know the details of this matter, right?"jungkook asked looking at his father with a knowing gaze. He was so done with these past secrets and was in no mood to be patient with anything anymore.

Before he could spell a word,jungkook and joon noticed doctors coming out of the ward and they rushed to them.

"How's tae now? He'll be fine,right? Is he up yet or not? Exactly how long will he lay there lifeless,doctor? Won't you try and wake him up as early as you could?"

"Jungkook! Get hold of yourself,let them speak first"joon snapped him out of his possessive trance, and glanced apologetically towards the pair of doctors_who were already staring at them like 'what the hell'.

One of them wisely decided to break the silence and talk sincerely about the situation.

"As per the reports,he's in no danger at all. Just exhausted too much, physically as well as mentally. We'll do our best to bring him back physically but I hope the family will help get through whatever emotional turmoil he's facing right now. I hope you understand and will cooperate,"the doctor concluded.

Jihwan took the chance to speak up as both the males went silent for a brief moment,

"Sure doctor,we will. Can we meet him now?"

"It'll take time for him to gain senses back, you can go but please don't bother him in anyways."

"Got it. Thank you,"joon said as he saw jungkook walking towards the door with hesitant steps. He turned the knob and door opened. Taehyung was sound asleep, but the pained and 'I'm sick of this sh*t' expression were enough for him to feel a heavy weight drowning him deep down in guilt. Only if he could've stopped the younger and comforted him by gathering a little more of courage.......

"Jungkook,"joon asked for the male who stood dead in his tracks,eyes never leaving the Angel lying on the hospital bed.

"We'll leave you alone for sometime. I informed jin and jimin about the incident and they're at my place waiting for me. I think I need to go."

"Sure hyung, go ahead. You can tell them about everything what happened back there. They too deserve to know the truth,and I don't think I could tell them the details without wanting that fvcktard to kill hundreds of times right now!"

Joon hugged him affectionately, reassuring everything will be fine, and left the hospital with minho. Jihwan got back to his work, sending more skilled and trustworthy men of his gang to look for darco. They need to catch him and end the story soon.

We'll it doesn't seem this easy though.

Jackson and jaebeom, after getting orders from their leader,headed to joon's apartment. Jin,jimin, yoongi and hobi were already there, losing patience to know how the plan went, if everyone was out of there safe and sound or not.

Soon the duo arrived,followed by miyoung and jisoo.

"Where are others Jackson? What about joon and tae?"jin asked hurriedly leaving the seat and strode towards the males standing near the doorway.

Others followed him,immensely worried and tired after waiting for so long.

"They are safe,hyung"jackson replied, giving a faint smile to reassure them.

"Everyone is safe,taehyung is unconscious for now, being too much exhausted from the events. Doctors said he'll be fine soon."

"Mom,"jin turned to find miyoung standing beside him.

"I need to go to the hospital. I'm sure they got some cuts and gunshots but are refusing to tell us. I need to go,"

"No hyung, you can't!"jaebeom was quick to explain them that jihwan has ordered them to stay where they are. They explained the situation in further detail_about how darco ran away once again and Nancy.....who saved them all from the burning factory, is herself in a bad condition.

She has been transferred to the burn centre,near highway to busan. Probably she won't be waking up any soon.......

Every single person present there was shocked to know Nancy was the wife of that mafia. They couldn't believe it,even miyoung was unaware of the fact.

A honk in the driveway followed by sound of car parking caused their attention to shift at the doorway. Joon and jihwan entered the hall, completely worn out with scattered bruises and cuts all over their bodies.

The moment joon saw the hurt in his lover's eyes, he wanted to take it all away and that's what he did. A beautiful smile adorning the cute dimples made its way on those tired yet perfect features.

Jin rushed towards his husband and pulled his body into a warm hug,all the worries and anger melting at the same instance.

Before joon could say anything,jin stated,

"Jackson and jb told us about everything. Don't worry, let's first take a look at your wounds."

"I got them dressed at the hospital, jinnie. Nothing to worry about."

The kim couple soon went into their bedroom, while jeon couple took the guestroom.

Jisoo and hobi decided to head back to their places,and left the space.

Yoongi turned to look at his boyfriend, who was unable to hold himself anymore.

He blamed himself for not being there enough for his tae, may be he should've given him more time......he felt guilty for always leaving tae behind due to the schedule and his tours.

After their graduation,they hardly spent time together,and jimin was feeling worse as a best friend for not knowing taehyung has been struggling with so many threats and past memories all this time. He didn't know how to apologize to his soul mate. He was broken....more than anyone could imagine. But the male now sitting beside him,knows everything even if he couldn't share it with anyone.

"Jiminah, look here,"yoongi said cupping the fragile face of his love.

"It's not your fault,chim. Despite of the struggles you went through in your professional life,I've seen you checking upon tae whenever you got the time. I know, you've tried your best. Don't blame yourself,you need to stay strong. Tae needs you the most after kook_you know that,right?"

Jimin nodded as a fresh stream of tears clouded his vision and he started sobbing in the arms of his fiancee.

"Let it out jiminah, if thats what takes you to feel better. But I know you're his precious friend and you'll help him get out of his past once he wakes up. We can't imagine what he has gone through all this time. All we could do is just to replace his horrible past with the happy memories of present. Can you do it for him?"

"Y-yes! I'll do whatever it takes to bring my bubbly and happy tae back to all of us. I promise!"

"Let's go home for now. Rest for a while and when uncle jihwan allows us we'll go visit tae. Ok?"

Jimin nodded and looked at his boyfriend with hooded eyes,his hands extending adorably towards the said male.

Yoongi picked him up with a lazy yet charming smile and the couple headed towards their car.

There comes a time in our lives,when we want to be alone,but not lonely.......

When you want to share your secrets,your thoughts,your dreams,your fear with someone_but never wanna tell anyone at the same time......

You don't know what you want from the life nor do you want to ask anyone......

But then you realize,you've that one person beside you...always......who can be the dark midnight that listens to all your secrets and never tells anyone,

Who can be the diary to share your dreams and fears with_that makes sure you keep dreaming and believing,

Who can give you company even in the vast impenetrable darkness where our own shadows leave us behind_only to make sure you don't give up and keep smiling.....

This is what taehyung is for jungkook.....

This is what jin is for joon.....

This is what yoongi means for jimin.......

& Probably...that's what his profession means for hobi......

The sun has started to peek out from dark hazy sky,embracing the nature in a warm hug. Golden rays found their way through the open window and caressed the sleeping creature near the bed.

The once dark clouds were now being lit up by radiating sunlight,announcing the arrival of new morning to everyone's lives.

His eyes flickered open at the warmth of sunlight and he found himself sitting at the stool,hands intertwined with the beautiful sleeping creature that layed on the bed in front of him_still recovering from extreme exhaustion. An IV line and few machines beeping beside the bed made him realize it's been 24 hours and his taehyung hasn't gained consciousness since then. He was getting impatient.

His hand found its way to youngers flawless face,caressing the soft contour of his cheeks with lot of care. He felt warmth brimming up in his own eyes, realizing nth time that how badly his tae suffered in last few days and he couldn't do much for him.

He wanted to give the world to his love but ended up witnessing the scars on his body and soul. He should've stopped him that night,he should've embraced his tae telling him everything will be fine,don't run away......

But he couldn't dare to,as the truth revealed that night was shocking and staggering for him too. What he did was probably the right thing to do.

He held both the hands of his love gently yet assuringly as his head now rested on their intertwined hands. Taking a deep breath he was trying to get rid of the troubling thoughts when a feeble mumbling froze him right on the spot but at the same time calmed the crazy going thoughts in his mind.....

"This wasn't because of you,k-kook! It was bound to happen one day....."
