Taehyung woke up to the violently sick headache the next morning. He sat up with great effort, as he fisted the disheveled hairs to ease the ache. It took few seconds for him to adjust with the light surrounding,when he finally opened the eyes to take a look around. He was in his bed,covered with sheets that kept him warm and curtains closed, so as to not disrupt the sleep of sleeping taetae.

Seems like someone took good care of him.

"Aah!

What's with this throbbing headache early in the morning?"

He said to himself while thinking about what happened last night.

Soon the realisation drowned him into deep waters of embarrassment as the short clips started playing his mind from last night.

"he face palmed himself ,not believing what he had done last night......

He yelled at himself, letting out a fake cry to release the frustration.

"No,no...Am not going to office today. Yes, Imma pretend that nothing happened.....

That's the best way,"and sweeping the blanket to other side,he got up and headed to the bathroom.

Two steps and he stopped,

"Wait.....But what if he thinks I remember all of that silly rambling chat so now I'm trying to avoid him?

That would be more embarrassing...

Should I just pretend not to remember anything?"he was totally confused about what to do. Thinking the latter option to be feasible, he picked out the outfit for his day.

"I'm seriously doomed today..."were the last words before he went to take the bath.

A long day is waiting for him.

Today was the day to implement taehyung's plan for discussing a mutually profitable deal with . The CEO of said group_ Kim Jaebeom_ was invited at the Jeons office.

Jungkook came an hour early to wrap up some reports here & there. He was discussing some issues regarding today's meeting with Lisa,when a knock interrupted them.

"Come in taehyung,"the CEO ordered before getting busy with the papers about said meeting.

Lisa looked up to the door in disbelief as taehyung entered the office next moment.

'what the hell! How does jungkooksii know that it's taehyung outside? He smelled it or he literally knows how this Kim taehyung even knocks his door?'

"If you're done staring then will you focus on the work?"jungkook asked with dense authority laced in his voice,causing lisa to flinch out of her imagination.

"Y-yes sir,"and the discussion went on.

Taehyung,for the first time felt thankful for Lisa's presence as it was good to not encounter the CEO personally today. That embarrassment_no way!

Another five minutes and Lisa left the office, not before giving a suspicious look to the intern. Now this_was the most dreaded moment for taehyung's day...

Praying that the elder won't bring up the topic,he started the work right away. But how will jungkook miss such an opportunity this time?

"I hope you'll focus more on your work today, than appreciating the details of your CEO, Kim taehyung."

Taehyung got panicked at the sudden straight attack of the elder,but his face_as always_didn't show an inch of his inner turmoil.

However,his words,

well,they couldn't hide the panic,

"S-sorry sir, I donno w-what are you talking about,"he said trying to act normal.

But boy, it's Jeon Jungkook we're talking about. Don't think you could fool him and obviously this time too he caught the drift!

"Hmmm...it maybe because you were drunk, that's ok."

Taehyung sighed mentally,thinking the elder believed at his excuse.

"By the way, will you convey my thanks to hobi hyung? You see,he returned me my phone yesterday,"said jungkook while keeping his gaze on the papers he was holding, successfully pretending to be serious.

"That was not hobi hyung! I returned you the phone kept in my drawer... you forgot already?"

Oh boy..... You're caught now.

"You seem to remember every detail of last night taehyung.

Am I wrong?"he asked placing the papers back on his desk and averting the gaze towards the said male. A smirk on jungkook's face was enough for taehyung to realise there was no way out.

"I-I mean, I just remember that much. I don't remember a single word told to you last night after that-"he replied,trying his best to escape the topic but unfortunately ended up being caught.

Jungkook started laughing.

Yes! The same Jeon CEO was laughing at the cuteness and innocence of his intern.

Taehyung thoughtlessly was staring at the male in front,witnessing a whole new and unusual sight. For some reason, he felt good_being able to be the reason for elder's smile.

Although he was embarrassed to be caught upon his lie,still the pleasure to see jungkook smiling whole-heartedly was much more greater than anything at that moment.

Their peaceful moment was interrupted by a knock and jungkook composed himself again with great efforts. Both were aware of the exceptional atmosphere that was just created in their space unknowingly.

"Come in,"commanded the CEO and Lisa walked in,leaving the door open behind.

"Sir, Mr.Jae-beom has arrived with his PA Mr.youngjae,"

"Okay,send them inside."

Lisa left the office and few seconds later,two males entered the inside_moderately built with quite handsome features and not showing an inch of formality through their body language. They weren't new in this space but it was definitely their first time being at Jeon's office for a business deal.

Taking a look around the Jungkook's office, taehyung was now standing to welcome the guests unlike jungkook who was still seated unbothered at his chair,leaning across it comfortably. The two males entering gave a glance over taehyung and without saying any greeting or asking for permission_took a seat on the couches letting out a cold breath.

Jungkook walked up to the said males and made himself comfortable at the opposite couch,patting the seat beside for the younger. Taehyung was confused at the totally tensionless and casual atmosphere at a business meeting,yet he stepped towards the CEO and took the seat beside.

'Indeed they don't have any formalities!' whispered the younger to himself while sitting and jungkook_being the best observer,smiled mentally at his comment.

"This for sure is not your idea, jungkook. Why,out of the blue,you're asking for a combined project with us?"asked the other CEO crossing his arms.

"Let's get to the point Jae-beom,

This project can be a huge bumper only if we collaborate wisely and give our best in it."

"Hmm. Let's listen to your strategy first. I brought this man with me to catch up everything that I might miss during our discussion..."he said gesturing towards youngjae,"_ and you know if I'm doing all this then I surely am interested in it, right?"

"Yeah, I know.

Kim_get started then,"he ordered younger to explain the plot they've created for temporary basis.

Taehyung opened the presentation over his laptop and turned to youngjae,

"Good-"

"-yeah,yeah! Good morning,good evening,how are you, I'm fine....Let's skip this useless talk.

Get to the point!"youngjae stated with a bored tone that almost triggered taehyung but he kept his anger under control for time being.

However,as soon as he started to present the plot and strategies, both the males sitting in front were highly impressed with firstly the younger's performance_ followed by the project plan.

Meanwhile Jungkook was immersed in mentally praising his intern in such a subtle way that no one noticed it.

Taehyung explained everything precisely and perfectly. He concluded the presentation with an assuring smile,that reflected his sincerity as well as confidence in his work. Jaebeom and youngjae couldn't hide their amusement as they clapped for the younger. After all it wasn't a performance expected from a mere intern.

Jungkook,feeling proud on his intern, smiled at him while facing to other side_probably trying to hide his unseen precious smile during a business meeting. Still, Jaebeom was quick to catch him as he narrowed his eyes upon jungkook out of curiosity.

Dismissing the unwanted question that was about to be asked by the other CEO, Jungkook continued,

"So,what do you think about it?

Will you sign the contract papers?"

Youngjae looked upto his CEO and nodded in affirmation. The said male leaned forward, resting his elbows on the knees and looked upto Jungkook,

"Okay, we'll do this. It looks quite a profitable deal. But you know our way of working_we don't stick upto the rules n regulations. Do you agree with this?"

"Well, that's the reason we're taking this opportunity,to create a strikingly remarkable project that will draw attention of the market even in abroad,"said the younger CEO with optimism.

The deal was sealed with signing of contract papers and they decided to schedule next meeting at Jps office in few days. They decided to announce their partnership and to discuss every minute detail required on that day.

Jaebeom with his PA was ready to leave the office,when youngjae turned to taehyung,

"By the way, what's your name?"he asked with a fabricated smile. And why won't he? when just an intern nailed the presentation in front of him and made him to regret his words earlier.

Taehyung looked upto him and his hand that was now waiting for a handshake. But the sassy soul in taehyung was woken up till then. He turned towards his desk and took some files with his cellphone,

"Ohh....What's your name,where did you study,where are you from....Let's skip those useless questions, I'm a little busy_you know!"

and he left the office after bowing a little towards both the CEOs standing in disbelief at his reply.

Looks like The Jeon Jungkook has fallen once again for his intern all over again.

"Joonie,I think we should tell everyone now. I can't wait anymore,"jin was whining like a baby to his husband, leaning over his lap instead of a pillow.

You know that feeling of being secure and much comfortable under the touch of your love_Exactly the same feeling.

Joon averted his gaze from the laptop screen in front to the handsome face of his husband,"Are you sure jinnie, it'll be another responsibility on us."

"Of course joon,it's the perfect time,"

"Still. It's been months only since our-"

"Please..... You know the circumstances dear."

Joon sighed looking at the pouty face of his baby and agreed to his request. And the next moment he was showered with lots of kisses all over his face,causing whatever the work was he doing to stop midway.

Anyone seeing them could tell that it was definitely a perfect combination of a sweet & loving soul with stern yet very caring one!

"I think we should invite everyone at our place for dinner, it'll be more convenient,"joon stated as jin was now sitting beside him, texting someone.

"Hmm..Sounds great!

I'll do the preparations then,"and he headed to the kitchen_full of excitement.

Namjoon stared at him till jin was seen no more through the hallways_ wishing their life to be happy and prosperous till their last breaths. He got busy with his leftover work as he was now in charge of inviting everyone for the dinner.

After the meeting with Jps in the morning, jungkook had to leave somewhere after getting a call. He returned around three hours later and had to attend another conference right on the cue. It took another two hours of his time.

Thankfully,the conference ended on time,and he was sitting on his chair at the center of conference table_all alone in the hall.

He leaned over the chair,letting out a cold breath to cope with the tiredness. Looking at the watch,he realised it's almost the time to get off work.

A sudden thought of someone caused his lips to curl upwards,that he didn't try to hide this time.

'Sassy kim is no joke,' was the only thing he thought about, after remembering the events from morning.

Dismissing the wandering imaginations for time being, jungkook was about to get up when a knock was heard and his assistant entered the hall.

"Do you need anything,sir?"

"If I need anything then I'll call you,don't bother yourself this much,"he said in an unfaltering tone,aware of what his personal assistant wants to convey.

"Sir,I wanted to tell you something,if you allow me to,"she said fidgeting her fingers_trying her best to look innocent and decent.

"What's it?"

"I think the partnership with Jps is not a good idea for our company's reputation. They don't have the image to be announced as our partners...."she continued looking at the CEO in front who was patiently listening to her prattle.

"_more than that how can we risk our time and efforts over an idea of that intern, he is not well experienced. His manipulation about our profits-"

"It's not your job to suggest me, nor to criticize my employees. It would be much better if you focus on your Job,got it?"

And jungkook left the hall,leaving his assistant in a dumbfounded state.

'It's all because of you,Kim Taehyung!' Lisa thought to herself and walked away in fury.

Jungkook was on his way to the office,when he noticed taehyung getting off the elevator. Before he could head in his direction,a voice called younger's name from other side,

"Taehyung!"

The said male turned around to see bogum walking_no... jogging towards him with a cheerful mood unlike the poor taetae. He faked a smile to greet bogum despite having the desire to runaway as he was too hungry after the long, tiring day.

Jungkook decided to wait and watch the scene instead of interrupting them, to get an idea of what's going on with them.

Taehyung worked all day in the office,taking only a short break to get his favourite milkshake. Determined to complete his work till the leave-time,he was too immersed in his his work and was much hungry by this time. Jungkook not being in the office was another plus point, as he was worried to be with him in the personal space after what mess he created last night...

He packed his stuff as soon as the reports were ready,and reached the elevator in a couple of strides.

But to his dismay_as he was about to leave for parking area,someone called his name. He turned around to see bogum approaching towards him with a wide grin over his face.

'Noo...Not now! I'm dying of hunger,'

"Hey! You're free for today,right?

Let's hang out for rest of the day. I know pretty good places,"he said while taking taehyung's hand and dragging him outside.

"Bogumsii...It's the office,let's go out and talk,"

"Aah...It's already off time here,don't worry."

"I can't go with you today,sorry hyung."

"What? But you told me that you have time today,"bogum asked with a hint of disappointment in his tone that made taehyung uncomfortable.

"Are you avoiding me for some reason tae?"bogum asked him that made taehyung strangely uncomfortable and suffocating to hear a nickname with such question.

The situation was not helping him at all. He wanted to runaway.

"

A familiar authoritative voice echoed through the corridors as the jungkook made his way to both the males standing few distance away.

"If so,then leave for Namjoon's place. They invited us on dinner,"

"... But I didn't got any call,"taehyung said while searching for his phone.

"You surely had got, if your phone wasn't switched off."

"Oh! My battery is dead,"he sighed looking at the black screen in front.

"Let's go, I don't have time to waste,"jungkook declared before heading towards the parking area.

"Sorry hyung,I need to go. It's family gathering I guess,"and taehyung followed the elder,now with a light heart free of guilt or suffocation.
