《ANYTHING FOR YOU》THE TREAT TO HER EYES

"Anu bhaiya...anu bhaiya... anu bhaiyaaaaaaaa!!!!!!" Karishma shouted on the phone call. His baby sister had called him for the first time in the past eight months by herself. She never used to talk to anyone but today her voice was full of excitement and enthusiasm which already made Anubhav's day. He was surprised and stunned, though happy inside. He too had drowned himself to the work terribly but secretly he was searching Haseena. He too had the belief that she was alive.
"Behna... kaisi ho?" he asked. Though he had asked the same question multiple times to her. But she had the same reply every time 'zinda hain hum'. But today his ears were going to have a treat. "boht badiya hain hum anu bhaiya!!!" she replied. The second surprise for him. "kya baat hai behna aaj aapne call kia?" he asked. "aap... hum batayenge nahi aapko dikhayenge... aap na seedha thane aa jaiye jaldiiii!!!" Her excitement was coming out from her words clearly. "Lekin... achha thik hai... hum aate hain..." he replied and she hang up the call.
The whole thana was witnessing her glowing face and shining smile. The same smile she'd lost a long time ago. They all were hugging each other in joy. Anubhav reached the police station and was mesmerized by the sight in front of him. As soon as his dear sister noticed him, she ran and hugged him tightly. He was shocked at first but then hugged her back. The third surprise for him. "Behna... kya Hua?" He asked. She dragged him inside and showed him the photograph. He was stunned. "Ha...Haseena Ji" escaped from his lips and tears welled up in his eyes. He looked at his sister for assurance and she nodded. "Haseena ji zinda hain behna... kahan par hain vo... kaisi hain vo..." he asked not able to control his excitement. "Delhi mein!!!" She replied with a teary smile. "Delhi mein... lekin vo vaha kya kar rahi hain... aur yaha kyu nahi aayi??" "hume..hume nahi pata Anubhav bhaiya... hume bass itna pata hai ki hamari Haseena ko kuch nahi hua hai... vo zinda hain... vo thik hain... hum... hum aaj hi unhe lene Delhi jayenge!!!!" "hum bhi aapke saath chalenge..." "aur hum sab bhi!!" they all said. "Nahi sirf hum jayenge... yaha thana sambhalne ke liye bhi toh koi hona chahiye na..." She said. After some more ifs and buts, they all agreed. Anubhav booked a flight and a hotel room for her. "Behna... aapki aaj raat ki flight hai... packings kar lijiye jaa kar...vaha ke police stations me inform kr denge...vo log aapki madad karenge" he said.

Karishma rang the doorbell but found the door open. She barged inside. "Ammiiiiii...!!!" she shouted. Ammi, who was in the kitchen, covered her ears with her palms. "Karishma beta..! idhar aaiye..! hum kitchen mein hain" She rushed to the kitchen and hugged her. "kya hua beta? aaj itni khush kyu ho..?" "Ammi, hum maddam sir ko lene jaa rahe hain... boht jald vo hum sab ke saath hongi..." "kyaaaa! Haseena aa rahi hain... kitne intezaar krwaya usne... ayengi na toh sabse pehle uske kaan kheechenge aur zor ki daant lagayenge..." "Ji ammi... ab hum chalte hain..." "are beta itni jaldi? khana toh kha lijiye!" "nahi ammi... hmara flight hai raat ka... jaldi jaana padega... phir milenge..."

It had been two days in Delhi, but Karishma didn't found Haseena anywhere. Everyone in Lucknow was impatiently waiting for the good news. She was disappointed but was not ready to lose hope. And why would she? If she didn't give up in eight tough months when there was no ray of hope then now that she knows that her Haseena is alive and the struggle would be fruitful and it was gonna rain in the dry desert.
And finally, the day came when she was going to be rewarded for all that she had undergone.
Monastery market, Delhi.
Karishma was searching for Haseena holding her phone in her hand and showing Haseena's photograph to the people as she'd got some tip from the local police station, when she bumped with a lady and her phone fell down. Karishma, without looking at her bent down to pick up her phone "I am really sorry humne aapka phone...." Karishma got stunned as she was hearing a familiar voice, actually her favorite voice, the voice her ears were yearning to hear. She looked up to see her face. Yes!!! she was her MADDAM SIR, her Haseena. All she'd practiced saying to her when she would meet her goes in vain. Words had been stuck to her throat and she was blankly staring at her. Haseena looked at her and their eyes met. After ages, they were seeing each other which was clearly visible in their eyes. After having an intense eye lock for a few minutes, Haseena came back to her senses. "aapka phone... vo... I am really sorry...humne dekha nahi aapko...actually vo...." but before she could complete, Karishma held her hands and kissed them. "maddam sir..." she uttered and tears of longing already made their way to her cheeks. But Haseena jerked her. "hum aapko jaante hain??" She asked but Karishma didn't bother about the question because her happiness knew no bounds. Her eyes were busy staring at her and her mind had lost consciousness. Only the heart was beating at the fastest rate. "Haseena...aap...aap thik hain.... aap... kaha thi itne dino tak... sab....sabne aapka kitna intezaar kiya hai... Haseena... aapko hamari yaad nahi aayi... accha vo chhodiye... aap chaliye hamare saath... ab aap hume mil gayi hain na... ab... ab sab thik ho jayega... sab pehle jaisa ho jayega...." She blabbered. "kaun hain aap?? kya bole jaa rahi hain??" She asked. "Haseena bass kijiye na ab mazak... ab bass ho gaya hai... please chaliye na vapas maddam sir... please..." She pleaded. "are... ajeeb hain aap... hum aapko jaante tak nahi hain aur aap pata nahi kya bole jaa rahi hain... khair hamare raaste se hatiye... hume der ho rahi hai" she said and walked away but Karishma followed her..."Maddam sir... Haseena... please... ye kya bol rahi hain aap... dekhiye na please aapki Karishma ko... aap aisa kahe bol rahi hain... aap hamari dost hain na... hume chhod kar ab kaha jaa rahi hain aap..." "arre hum aapse kitni baar bol rahe hain ki hum aapki dost nahi hain... aap bewajah hmare peeche aayi jaa rahi hain!"
