Mehak's POV

The moment maa told me PD is not well, I cant sit quietly. I rushed to my room to pack some clothes and left right away. The moment I reached PWG I walked through the busy bustling street. I walked inside my home all seems to be quite, I went to living area and saw PD and my dadu watching TV. I sat next to PD holding her hand.

Mehak:PD, what happen to you, are you okay? You were not well ,why no one called me as well?

PD: Arey laddoo, I am okay? Why , what happened? Kanta, Mansi come here, look who is here. Laddoo come sit on the sofa.

In short both chachis came there from kitchen.

Kanta chachi: Arey Mehak, when did you came?

Mehak went to both the chachis hugging them.

Mehak: Chachi, you all forgot about me, PD is not well and no one tell me about it. You all became bad. (in her babyish tone)

Mansi chachi: Mehak beta, PD is okay and we thought is just a normal issue, so we didnt call you but today we just called to inform Karunaji and she sent you here immediately.

Mehak: Whatever you all said I am upset with you all. PD what you doing here, you should rest well.

PD went to her bed sat down there and Mehak sat with her, Mehak massaged PD's leg gently as both keep on talking .

Shaurya's POV

I cant sit quietly when my wife is away and PD is not well. No one told me about it. I hope everything is alright and nothing happen to PD. I parked my car in one of the alley and walked straight to my in laws place. Meera Sharma road, the lane which I get it renamed after my late mother in law's name, I smiled seeing the signage and I knocked the house door. My quirky sister in law Nehal opened the door and she squeled after seeing me there. I signed at her to stay quiet as I want to surprise everyone at home.

Nehal: Jijuuu... what a surprise? (jumping excitedly)

Shaurya: Hey Nehal, quiet where is everyone? (looking inside)

Nehal: Come inside jiju, all are at the living area.

She ushered me inside and we went to the living area. I bent to take blessing from dadaji, and both chachus. All were elated to see me there. I also saw my beautiful wife lying on PD's lap as PD caressing her hair and she was mumbling something to her. Aww my baby, how I missed her, we are living in the same house but I missed the feeling of cuddling with her. I stepped forward and touched PD's feet and seeing me Mehak immediately get up from PD's lap sat with her mouth slightly gaped seeing my sudden presence there.

PD: Arey Hero, when did you came? How are you?

I sat next to PD .

Shaurya: PD , you were not well and no one told me. I came home and maa told me Mehak came to see you so I immediately came here to see you and take care of you.

In shortwhile everyone at home gathered there. Shaurya gets up and touched both chachis feet to get blessings.

Shaurya: Chachi you both also didnt call and inform me, what did doctor said about PD? Do you want me to get another doctor to check her?

Both chachis were lost not sure what to answer him, when Shaurya left Khanna mansion Karuna maa immediately called them to inform about his arrival. So they were expecting him to come there anytime.

Kanta chachi:Beta it was just not very serious but PD was missing Mehak that's why we called Karunaji, otherwise we wont call.

Shaurya: What are you talking about, taking care of PD and everyone here is my responsibility and I wont complain, you just need to give me a call and I will be here right away. So next time dont talk like this.

Nehal: Jiju, why I have a feeling that you didnt come here to see PD but you are here for someone else?

He bites his inner cheek not to let the cat out of the bag, He looked at her as he narrowed his eyes. Quickly Mansi chachi came and asked Mehak to bring him to the room to freshen up and they will prepare the dinner.

Mehak who has been watching him silently gets up from there goes to her room, Shaurya followed her. Once he came inside the room she quickly locked the room door and rushed to him pulling him to aside.

Mehak: Why are you here now? You already bothered me so much past 2 days and you are here to continue to disturb me is it? If you do anything here, you will nicely get it from me understood?

Shaurya just stand there looking at her how she scolding him. He knows she is not angry but she is trying to stay angry with him. She was pouting at him angrily not meeting his eyes. Shaurya just pulled Mehak closer to him as he hold her tightly against his chest. Mehak struggled in his hold but Shaurya tighten his hold on her, she looked down at his chest refuse to look up at him when he called her. He lifted her chin to meet his eyes. She blinked her eyes few times as she looked at him as she rested her palms on his chest. Shaurya inhale a deep breath looking at Mehak.

Shaurya : You still look hot and sexy when you get upset with me. So to see this beautiful face of yours I will always do something to see this look on your face.

Mehak lost in his sensual tone. She wet her lips but her throat has dried up in his warmth.

Mehak: Sonal told me about.... about....

Shaurya raised his eyebrows and wants her to continue.

Shaurya: About what?

Mehak: About, (gulping her saliva) Archie...

Shaurya: So what did Sonal said?

Mehak :She said that Archie is your interior designer for all your hotels and restaurants. And she is the touchy touchy clingy type.

Shaurya: Ohhhhh, (rolling his eyes)so when Sonal said you believe her but your patidev tried to tell you the same thing for the past two days you were not even ready to hear me. I am just confused here, I came running after you to explain this but you didnt even want to listen to me and today morning I told you about it you give me a silly look as if I am having affair behind your back but now you are okay, but why didnt you tell me that you are coming here, do you know how upset I was when I came home maa told me you came here, is this how you leave home without telling me? Even you are upset with me just send a message, why is it so difficult with you, are you a small child? Do you know how busy and tired I was, I came home to see you, that is why once maa said PD is not well and you came here to stay for few days, I packed my stuffs and came here as well.

Mehak couldnt justify with him, yes she is wrong now, she should have informed him that she came here to stay for few days to take care of PD. But her thoughts were occupied with PD and didnt think of to inform Shaurya.

Mehak: Sorry (holding her ears) I came in a rush and was so worried about PD that I forgot to call you.

They heard their room door knocked and Nehal asked whtr they want to come down or not. Mehak closed her eyes in embarassment. She moved from Shaurya and pass him the towel to freshen up, he smiled as he went to freshen up. He came down and joined the other men to watch tv. His eyes constantly looked for Mehak but the Sharma men watching some random tv show and arguing about it. Seeing him there PD called him and he went to sit beside her.

PD : Hero how are you doing? Is everything fine with you?

Shaurya: Why PD? I am okay, do you need anything?

PD :If you are okay then why are you sitting like this, go and disturb laddoo. Sitting like this is not Shaurya style.

Shaurya:PD , you know me too well. now let me go and find my laddoo.

He skipped and went to look for Mehak, he peeped in the kitchen and saw both chachis busy there. He wonders where is Mehak and he slowly stepped away from there to look for her at other place. He cant ask chachis where is Mehak so he decided to go and check by himself. He saw the stairs to the terrace and climbed there silently. On his way there to the terrace he heard some giggle sound. He saw Mehak and Sonal sitting on the bench there looking at Nehal. Nehal was showing them some bollywood dance movement both were cheering for her happily. Her eyes shone with happiness. Once Nehal finish dancing for her song, she asked how was her performance.

Nehal: Di tell me how was my performance? My best friend asked us to perform on her sister's wedding and I want our performance is the best.

Sonal: Nehal something is missing in your performance, if you want to make your performance No 1 then it must be energetic and power packed too.

Nehal:Sona bhabhi the function is in another two days and now we need to change our entire dance steps, not sure is it possible or not?

Sonal gets up from there tying her duppata to her side pulling Mehak from the bench.

Mehak: Sonal why are you pulling me now? (She looked at Sonal and Nehal confusingly but she understand from their look.) Nahi nahi nahi, I am not doing anything. just leave me alone, you two pulled me from downstairs for this is it? I came here because PD is not well, and you two are asking me to dance and sing? I am leaving this place now.

Sonal and Nehal pulled her arms not letting her to go from there.

Sonal:Kudiye we are not letting go off you so easily, now just do a simple dance move and we will let you go, promise we wont bother you after this.

Mehak: Okay promise only this time okay? (saying that she tied her dupatta on her side and adjusting her hair behind her ears)

Nehal played the song "lehenga" in her mobile and both Mehak and Sonal started to dance together in traditional punjabi dance steps following the rhythm. Shaurya was awed with Mehak's movements. Her eyes gleamed in happiness as she moved her hips and her hands in the air. Her teasing smile did not leave her lips as she danced carelessly making cute expression, winking adorable like child. Once the song ended Nehal jumped in excitement as she clapped for the duo's performance.

Nehal:Didi , Bhabhi I want to dance like this, luckily I recorded your performance. I will show this to my gang and ask them to follow these steps. You two are mindblowing.

Mehak: Ok ok, enough let me go from here, chachis are alone at the kitchen. I am going downstairs.

Saying that Mehak left the sisters laughing at her behind, she undo the knot of her dupatta from the side and adjust them on her shoulder and started to walk downstairs. Shaurya hides himself from there watched her going downstairs. She went inside the kitchen to see her chachis working on the dinner.

Mehak: Chachi... what you two cooking, so many dishes, you know right , your son in law wont eat so much. He will look for what is less oily and low calorie food. (she took a carrot in her hand and start to chew them)

Kanta chachi: He will definitely like everything we prepare for him here, just dessert is not ready yet, Mansi get the sugar container.

Mehak:Chachi I will do the dessert. Let me see what to do, (checking the vegetables and the ingredients) Ok I will do PD's favourite lauki ki halwa. (taking the lauki in her hand)

Mansi chachi:Mehak beta, let us do that, you go down stairs and rest with PD. Now your husband is also here, we dont want you to work here too. just rest your feet and tell us what you want to eat, we will do it . okay now go downstairs and see what is your husband doing? He must be feeling awkward between your chachus and Dadaji.

Mehak: Arey chachi, Shaurya never like that, he will be okay with everyone at downstairs and PD is there, so dont worry, let me start to do this halwa.

Saying that she started to peel the lauki and grate them. She started to work on the dessert and mixing them till it turns into golden colour. She scooped them into the bowl and sprinkled some roasted cashews on it. She and chachis took the food they prepared to the dining table. They arranged them on the table and Mehak looked around at the living area for Shaurya. He was not anywhere, but she saw him coming down with Sonal and Nehal. He looked at her and smirked at her which only she knows what does it mean. All sat down and before Nehal could sit the doorbell ring. She skipped and went to open the door to find Mohit was there.

Nehal: Bhai, what a surprise, you came home and guess who is here ?

Mohit hugged Nehal and peep in to look whose inside and he smiled widely.

Mohit: Di, you are here.

Both the siblings rushed in and hugged one and another.

Mohit: Di I thought I came to surprise everyone but today you surprised me? Wow jiju also here, just like olden days we all are in the same house.

Mehak: Mohit how are you? (she cupped his face) my brother has really grown up.

Mohit walked in to meet all he touched everyone's feet for blessings. Shaurya side hugged him.

Shaurya:Saale sahab how are you doing?

Mohit: Jiju I am good.

Kanta chachi: Mohit, go wash hand and come join us for dinner.

The entire Sharma family sat together after such a long time for hearty meal prepared by the ladies. Chachis and chachus keep adding food into

Shaurya's plate. While Mehak doing the same for Mohit. Looking at these Nehal started.

Nehal: This is not fair in this house, one group too busy taking care of the damaad, another one is busy taking care of the brother. Hello do you all remember I am also from this family? Looks like I must stay outside from the house then only everyone will look after me like this.

Everyone laughed hearing her.

Shaurya: Saali sahiba, you want someone to serve you right, come let me do the honor, (he gets up from the seat and pushed some food on her plate, she tried to stop but he kept pile her plate with all the delicious morsel) Since chachiji prepared all these delicious dishes I cant eat all by myself right so lets all eat together.

The laughter at the dining table continues and once all done, they enjoyed the halwa prepared by Mehak.

Jeevan chachu: I am 100% sure , this halwa is done by Mehak puttar. Only her hand made dish will have this aroma and the taste. Mehak beta, I will have another bowl of halwa too.

Ravi chachu: Haan,, just like brother said, I want another one bowl too, its been ages since we had like this.
