- "hyoou alle age?"
"Mmm...Did you know that you smell so good, Cage?" Seneca lets out a breathy sound, that's a cross between a moan and a groan. Her nose runs up and down my neck in a sensual path, and she suddenly nips at my skin, making me yelp.
"Y-Yeah? Good to know," I say, trying to stop myself from making any more embarrassing sounds.
We're currently sitting —no, cuddling on the living room couch. Seneca is sitting on my lap, with her arms around my neck, and mine around her delicate waist. And we've been...you can guess what we've been doing.
"Hey, Seneca?" I call, trying to get her attention.
"Yes, my love?" She breathes, but her attention seems to be riveted on my lips, because she didn't once look up at my eyes.
"My eyes are up here, you know." I comment, grinning in amusement.
Her eyes flicker up to mine for a second, before her gaze travels down once again. "I know."
I chuckle. "Why do you call me Cage?"
Her eyes widen in alarm, and she finally looks at me in the eyes fully. "That's...nothing." She stutters, averting her eyes quickly.
I place my hand on her chin, turning her face to me, "Please?" I ask, giving her my infamous 'puppy dog' look, that Le-freakin'-Nora, has told that 'no human or Wolf' can resist.
"Crap." She curses, sighing in frustration. "Fine!" She exclaims after a moment. "It's too cheesy! If you tease me 'bout it, I'll freaking kill you." She threatens, mock-glaring at me.
"Never." I swear and she takes a deep breath.
"Okay. Maybe I researched the origin of your name the day I met you. And maybe I came to know that in the olden days, Hebrews called the 'Micajahs' who lived in their time 'Cage' as a short name. And maybe I melted when I learnt that, because maybe my heart had already jumped at your name, and maybe I decided that you're my safe haven, my Cage." She says it all in one breath, and cringes when I look at her with raised brows.
"Really?"
"Yes..."
"That is so cute!" I reply, and lean forward giving her a small peck on the lips.
Her cheeks flame the cutest shade of red and she looks away. "Shut up."
"No really. I love it," I grin and she finally turns to meet my eyes once again.
"Oh yeah? I love you." She counters, falling forward on me, and crashing her lips to mine.
And like that, it goes on for another hour.
⚾️⚾️⚾️
"Hey, did you know that you were my first kiss?" I ask, pulling back.
She takes a moment to catch her breath. "Really?!" She asks, looking at me with surprise.
"Really," I reply, blushing slightly.
"Wow, that just makes this a hundred times better!" She grins and once again, I'm blown away by how beautiful she looks.
"Have I ever mentioned how beautiful you look?" I whisper, looking at her with awe.
"Um, no..." She whispers hoarsely, blushing like a tomato.
"Well, You are the most beautiful girl in the universe. Never forget that." I proclaim, caressing her cheeks with my thumb.

She blushes harder, looking down at her entwined fingers. She looks so cute now, that I could just kiss her all over.
'What are you waiting for?' My Wolf barks, and I grin internally at his hurry.
'We just kissed, like, 5 seconds ago.' I shoot back, amused.
'Well, I can kiss our Mate all day long if you give me control.' He replies and I roll my eyes at his cheesiness.
I let my hands drift down her cheeks to her neck, and she looks up. We simultaneously lean forward and just before our lips could meet, there is a loud 'bang' and the front door opens.
I groan and turn to my right.
Beta Ezra.
He's standing there with a mock-angry expression, his hands on his hips, and powerful as ever in his charcoal black suit. His lips are pressed together in a thin line, but one can see the corners of it twitching upwards, giving away the fact that he's trying to control a grin.
"The whole pack is running around like a bunch of five year olds on sugar high," are the first words he says.
I try to move away from Seneca slightly and maintain some semblance of decency, but she pinches me when I try to move, holding me tighter.
Ha. Okay. Message received.
"Why?" I ask, curious.
"Alpha here, is just oozing so much happiness into the Pack link." He explains, and his grin breaks free.
"Wow," I say, looking at Seneca for explanation.
She blushes once again.
"So?" She asks, looking at him defensively.
"So nothing. Just informing you in case someone looks at you weirdly." He shrugs, leaning on the doorframe.
"Okay." She nods,
"Well?" I say, raising my brows at him.
"You came to tell that?" Seneca completes my unasked question.
"No. I came here to tell that, there're only 5 more minutes left." He announces and that's enough to send my heart beat to a marathon.
"Whoa. Calm down, will you?" Seneca asks, turning to look at me.
"I'll try," I assure her, trying to take deep breaths.
"Okay, I'll be leaving now." Beta Ezra calls, and spins around to leave. He takes two steps, then stops, twisting his upper body, "And oh, Aleph boy? You're missing a collar."
Crap. He noticed.
With that, he leaves, laughing out loud.
⚾️⚾️⚾️
"You can do it." Seneca says firmly, looking into my eyes.
"No," I shake my head, gulping hard.
I'm wearing my other new white shirt, just letting you know. In case you thought that I'm collar-less.
"You can." Seneca says, again. Just then, Beta Ezra calls our names, and I can hear the chairs being pushed back slightly as all the Wolves stand.
Two girls open the majestic wooden door, and all the people turn to look at us as we make our grand entry. My breath catches when I look at the huge crowd, and I forget for a second that I should be walking. Seneca tugs me forward with her grip on my elbow, and that kicks my legs into action.
The room is well decorated with flowers and curtains, making it look elegant. The aisle is scattered with flowers as well, and the background music makes me feel like I'm walking to my own wedding.
I take a step quickly and fall into sync with Seneca, looking straight ahead. I try not to look at the sides or down, because that would be considered a sign of weakness, or submission in the Were world.

Everyone bows in unison when we walk down the aisle between the two rows of seats, and that is something I did not expect.
We reach the stage and Seneca lets go of my hand, to pull the front of her black dress up, as she climbs the 3 steps to the stage. I follow behind, and we take the seat in the two big chairs, arranged in the middle. Immediately, the audience straighten up and take their seats.
So much co-ordination.
"So, we have gathered here, to witness the union of Alpha Seneca Mordecai and Aleph Micajah Rye." Beta Ezra announces and I look at him in shock,
WHAT?!
"Just kidding, guys." He grins and the crowd lets out a low rumble of chuckles.
"So yeah, Alpha will speak now." He says and turns around, gesturing to her with a sweep of his arms.
Seneca nods at him and stands up, walking to the front of the stage.
"Let's thank the Goddess for a few moments in silence." She says in a calm voice, and we all stand up, closing our eyes and bowing our heads in reverence.
For the whole two minutes, I pray earnestly to the Goddess, asking for her help to successfully deliver my small speech.
"Hail to the Goddess," Seneca whispers and we all open our eyes once again.
"I would now like to join a new member to our Pack," She says, after all the Wolves have settled back into their chairs.
She turns to me in silence, looking at me with assuring eyes. I take that as my cue, and stand up, walking forward and taking the place beside her.
"As you all know, this is my Mate, Your Aleph, Micajah Rye." She introduces and I smile nervously at the large group of members.
"Hi," I say, when all eyes inspect me curiously.
Murmurs erupt from the crowd, as many smile welcomingly in response.
Seneca takes a step backward and turns to me, and so do I.
That's when someone comes with a decorated tray in their hands and I turn to see it's Nicole.
She grins at me, trying to boost my confidence, I give a timid nod back.
Seneca grabs ahold of the knife on the tray by the hilt, and Nicole walks away. She gives me another nod and poises the dagger above her left palm to cut it, when suddenly, there is a loud call.
"Alpha!" The young blond man calls, running into the auditorium. Seneca turns to him in surprise, and opens her mouth to say something, when he interrupts her.
"Alpha..." he pants, trying to catch his breath. "Daemon..."
That one word makes Seneca let the dagger drop from her fingers. It lands on the carpeted floor with a 'clang'.
"Western... border..."
Seneca's spine goes rigid as a ramrod, and I watch as the shields in her eyes go down visibly, blocking all emotion. She turns to me with an emotionless mask, and whispers two words.
"I'm sorry,"
With that, She kicks off her heels and dives out of the stage, shifting mid air, and landing on the ground on all fours. Her big Silver Wolf turns to the side and in a second, the familiar black Wolf flanks her right. She turns to me one last time and leaps out the door, leaving me standing there in shock.
⚾️⚾️⚾️
"What the heck are they doing for such a long time?!" I exclaim, running my hands through my hair in frustration.
"Calm down, Micajah. Nothing is wrong with them. If they're harmed, I'll feel it in the link." Nicole replies. looking calm and patient.
"How can you be so patient?!" I yell, looking at her in irritation.
"Because this has happened several times before." She answers coolly, shrugging.
"Shit." I curse, rubbing a hand over my face.
Finally, I collapse on the couch opposite to hers, letting my head fall back on the cushion.
"A ten." I say after a moment.
"What?"
"The question you asked. The answer is ten." I elaborate, looking at the ceiling.
"Ohhh," She replies after a moment, finally getting it.
"Wow! Then how was—"
"I'm not answering anything else." I cut her off, knowing she will ask something else.
"Pfft," She sighs in defeat.
I grin tiredly.
"What do you think might be happening?"
"I don't know—" She starts, but is interrupted when the main door opens.
In a second I'm out of my seat, rushing to the entrance. I almost weep in joy when I see Seneca rushing inside, wearing a loose t-shirt and shorts that fall up to her knees.
She runs to me when she sees me, and I open my arms, letting her body crash into mine in full force. My arms go around her, as I hug her close to me.
"You're okay," I sigh, breathing her musky scent in.
"I am," She replies, and I squeeze her closer to me.
"Tss," She hisses and I immediately pull back, looking at her apologetically.
"I'm sorry! You're hurt?" I ask, examining her arms and legs.
"Just a little bruise. It'll fade away in a couple of hours." She says dismissively, but I know that it's anything but that. I leave it for now.
"Okay, I'll...um, I'll go," Nicole says awkwardly, and that's when I remember she was with me as well.
I turn around and quickly nod at her, and she hightails out of the living room to her room.
Seneca's chest rumbles in a low growl, and I turn to her in surprise.
"Why must all your friends be girls?" She complains like a kid, walking to the couch.
Phew. That's the problem?
"Nicole is—" I start, but I remember my promise to her and stop mid-sentence. "Well, I'm just that hot." I say in an attempt at humor, walking to take the place beside her on the couch.
"That you are." She says, and turns to me, pecking my cheek.
I grin.
"It's going to take me some time to get used to this." I say, pouring a glass of water for her.
"Well, we could always practice," Seneca says suggestively, and my heart races in excitement.
"I'm not complaining." I shrug and pass her the glass full of water. She smiles at me and receives the glass, taking a few gulps. She places the glass back on the table loudly.
I grin at her enthusiasm, but when she leans forward, I place a hand on her lips, stopping her.
"Now what?" She complains, but her voice comes out muffled due to my fingers.
"First, you're gonna tell me about this 'Daemon',"
