Yun Sheng prepared some porridge and went to the storage room.

The two headed puppy just had a severe surgery and this world didn't have tonics to replenish the blood although Yun Sheng had properly handled the surgery. Yun Sheng thought that it wouldn't wake up for a while after the puppy just had lost a lot of blood.

When Yun Sheng had arrived to the temple, it was already almost noon. Master Yang who had a sullen face severely reprimanded her.

"Go and tidy up the medicine room. Before sunset, sort out all the herbs and if you don't finish by that time, don't bother receiving this month's wages". Also, the innermost storage room, don't go in, or else ... ". The new magician's face was grim and ordinary children after seeing him would probably be afraid to come near him.

Yunsheng meditated and calmed down her heart. One can kill but not humiliate, won't eat the food.

A quarter of an hour later, the words said were long gone. Dignity was precious, freedom was more important, if replaced for food then both can be tossed away.

Just as she stretched her hands to prepare to snatch the food away from Ye Beiming, the latter very elegantly took a bit out of the steamed bun.

"You!" Yun Sheng was so angry that she was out of breath.

"You're too slow. At this speed, if you see that Huo Yan village's girl a hundred times, you'll die a hundred times. You won't be so lucky every time," Ye Beiming's hand appeared a roasted beast leg and gave it to Yun Sheng.

Yun Sheng hesitated and looked at the leg in her hands. She recognized that it was a leg of a beast. It was at a price that even the village chief wasn't likely to eat several times.

The smell of the food was too tempting so Yun Sheng disregarded her appearance and chewed the beast leg. She thought of the puppy at home and slowed down her speed at eating the leg.

"You better eat quickly. I stole that leg from Master Yang. If he found out, it would be bad". Just as Ye Beiming's voice fell, Yun Sheng let out a violent coughed and her black eyes almost popped out.

"You don't need to glare at me. If you're worried about being discovered, hunt a few beasts from the mountain will be sufficient. But let me first say that whoever ate it will be responsible. I will not help you," said Ye Beiming. He flipped over, leaped and disappeared without a trace, only leaving behind an angry Yun Sheng.

This damn blind man was even more cunning than a fox!

Yun Sheng viciously took a bite at the beast leg as if Ye Beiming was that beast leg.

But then again, the blind youth's skill was pretty good.

Yun Sheng soon discovered that after consuming the leg, a wave of heat spreaded across her body.

Before sunset, Yun Sheng was respectfully waiting at the room as Master Yang approached.

A beautiful handwriting listing out all kinds of herbs showed up in a booklet.

"Master Yang, there are 988 kinds of herbs in the temple. Among them includes more than 50 kinds of rotten and moldy herbs. I have organized the other 938 kinds and placed them in different drawers. Each drawer has a corresponding number to the herb".

Master Yang took a look and was surprised. He deliberately made things difficult for Yun Sheng. Who knew that she actually used a few hours to organize the herbs!

After checking a few more times and found that everything was correct, Master Yang's expression warmed up a bit.

He thought to himself "Unexpectedly in this small mountain villager, there still is such a well-versed child in medicine. It's a pity that she comes from a lowly family and has no magic. Otherwise if she specialized in magical medicine, then she perhaps can inherit my mantle."

Master Yang pondered for a moment. After checking and found no fault, he allowed Yun Sheng to go back.

"Master Yang, I noticed that there's no more fang feng cao (windproof grass). This is a commonly used medicine the villagers use to treat colds. There's a lot of them in the mountains. Why don't I pick some up from the mountains tomorrow?" Yun Sheng asked as if she was a good child.

"Ok. You're still young so going to the mountains by yourself is inconvenient. I'll let Beiming accompany you." Master Yang thought for a bit and agreed to Yun Sheng's request.

After Yun Sheng had returned home, she noticed that the porridge bowl that she had left this morning was still full. Hence, she placed the leftover beast leg meat in front of the puppy.

The little puppy looked at Yun Sheng and finally couldn't help but went forward and ate the food up.

Yun Sheng's mouth revealed a small smile.
