After escaping the Kakamora, everything mostly calm. Izuku kept on insisting to return the heart.
" Congratulations on not being dead, Deku. But I'm still not taking that thing back. You wanna get to Te Fiti, you have to go through a whole ocean of bad. Not to mention f**king Te Ka. Lava monster? Ever defeat a lava monster?" Katsuki asked with a smirk.
"N-no," Izuku stuttered.
Oceania stepped up and pointed to one of Katsuki's tattoos, the one where he lost to Te ka. Katsuki growled as he pushed Oceania away. " I'm not going on a suicide mission with some... Dumba** mortal. You can't restore the heart without me. And I say no. I'm getting my hook. End of discussion," Katsuki growled as he sat down.
"B-But you'd be a hero. That's what you're about, right?" Izuku asked with a stutter.
" I am a hero. Deku." Katsuki said as he ate a banana.
"you're just the guy who stole the heart of Te Fiti. The guy who cursed the world. You're no one's hero," Izuku said in frustration.
"What did you say?!" Katsuki snarled with anger.
" B-but put this back. Save the world. You'd be everyone's hero," Izuku flinched.
Katsuki turned to Oceania, who was holding a thumbs up in agreement. "We get your hook, take out Te Ka. Restore the heart. Unless you don't wanna be... "Maui, Demigod of the Wind and Sea, Hero to... all," Izuku suggested as he extended his hand to Katsuki.
Katsuki grabbed Izuku's hand and threw him into the water, but Oceania simply pulled Izuku back onto the boat.
"Ugh Fine! First, we go east to the Lair of Monoma. If anyone has my hook, it's that beady-eyed bottomfeeder," Katsuki growled as he and Oceania start adjusting the boat.
As Izuku stood there, a feeling of guilt and slight shame washed over him. Wasn't he supposed to be the one to sail them to their destination?
"Teach me to sail. My job is to deliver Katsuki across the great ocean. I should... I should be sailing," Izuku said anxiously.
" It's called wayfinding, Deku. It's not just sails and knots. It's seeing where you're going in your mind... Knowing where you are... by knowing where you've been," Katsuki said as he climbed the sail pole.
"I'm a fast learner, I -"
"No!" Kastuki growled. "You're not a Wayfinder. You'll never be a Wayfinder. You will never be a wayf-."
Katsuki paused as he felt a prick on his left buttcheek, as he suddenly lost feeling in his body. Falling face-first onto the boat, Oceania tried to play innocent as it pretended not to see the dart.
"Really? Blowdart in my buttcheek. Oceania you B**ch," Katsuki growled, as Oceania handed Izuku the paddle.

After a failed attempt at teaching Izuku, and getting Katsuki to teach Izuku. It was left to Oceania to guide the canoe to Lalotai.
"So Monoma lives here?" Izuku asked as he stared at the tall mountain." He lives in Lalotai? Realm of Monsters. We're going to the Realm of Monsters."
"We? No. Me. You are gonna stay here with the other chicken," Katsuki laughed as he turned to Oceania, who simply stared. ". I know she's human, but that's not... You know... forget it. Forget it, I'm not F**king explaining it to you."

Izuku was slightly confused, but from what he could tell Oceania and the DemiGod must be close in some way. Katsuki seemingly can understand Oceania, even if they don't even speak. Oceania turned to Izuku and slowly pushed him towards the mountain, but before Izuku could ask, Oceania quickly returned to the ocean. So with a sigh, Izuku starts climbing up the mountain.
"So... Son of the chief. I thought you stayed in the village. You know, kissing babies and Shit.Just trying to understand why your people decided to send, uh... How do I phrase this... A dumba** like you," Katsuki said simply.
"My people... didn't send me. The ocean did," Izuku grunted as he climbed up the mountain.
"Oceania, Makes sense, you're what, eight? Can't sail? Obvious choice," Katsuki laughed.
" It chose me... for a reason," Izuku countered. " And What exactly is Oceania?"
"Oceania is the spirit of the ocean itself. If Oceania is so smart, why didn't it just take the heart back to Te Fiti itself? Or bring me my hook. Oceania straight up losing it's marbles," Katsuki said as he turned to look at the ocean with a glare.
"The ocean chose you for a reason," Izuku said to himself as he stood ontop of the mountain.
" If you start singing, I'm gonna f**king throw up," Katsuki commented.
"So... not seeing an entrance," Izuku said slowly, when suddenly the ground started to split open to reveal a very deep drop.
" Don't worry, it's a lot farther down than it looks," Katsuki said simply as he jumped in.
-----------------------
"And Stuck the landing," Katsuki grunted as he landed.
As Katsuki waited, he looked up to see some Ocean water fall into the monster realm. The moment it fell to the ground, it quickly took it's faceless humanoid form. Oceania looked around before pointing up.
"Idoit hes not even here. No mortal's gonna jump into the realm of mon-"
Kastuki was cut off by Izuku falling ontop of him, shoving him to the ground. The group quickly made their way through the realm, till they came across a cave full of gold and treasures. And on top of the pile.
"Maui's fishhook," Izuku awed. " This monoma guy mst really love his treasure. So how are we going to get it?"
"We, I'm not getting screwed up by a mortal. Who has no business inside of a monster cave except... Except...Maybe as bait," Katsuki said slowly as an idea came to mind.
" Wow, the shiny glittering cave. And just like me, it's covered in sparkling treasure. Sparkle ... Sparkle. Sparkle," Izuku sighed as he walked into the cave, covered in shiny objects.
"You suck deku," Katsuki growled.
"The hook is right there," Izuku said.
"You go out there, he will kill you. Just stick to the plan, and when he shows up, keep him distracted. Make him talk about himself. He loves bragging about how awesome he is," Katsuki whispered as he vanished into the shadows.
"Wait! Katsuki!" Izuku gasped.
Suddenly the ground began to shake as a giant figure rose from the piles of gold. It was a blond male with blue eyes, his body was covered in blue tatoo'd body paint. He was covered in jewels and gold, and he seemed to be wearing the shell of a large crab, as he wore large pincers on his arms.

"Huhuhuhuuu...What have we here? It's a sparkly, shiny -wait a minute...It's a human!" Monoma whined in disappointment as he picked up Izuku." What are you doing down here in the realms of the monst- Just pick an eye. I can't- I can't concentrate on what I saying if you keep -Yep, pick one! pick one! You're a funny looking little thing, aren't you? Oooh what's this?" Monoma wondered as he looked at the neckless around the humans neck.
"No! It's my best friends!" Izuku shouted.
" It's my friends. I ate my friend!!! And it took a week because she was absolutely humongous," Monoma said mockingly." Why are you here?"
"Cause you're amazing! And we mortals have heard...the tales about the crab....who became a legend. And I got to know. How did you get so crab...ulous?" Izuku said nervesly.
"Are you just trying to get me to talk about myself? Because if you are ...I will gladly do so!! In song form!" Monoma said with a smirk.
Monoma started as he showed of his treasure covered body.
"NO!" Izuku screamed, as Monoma slowly lowered the poor boy towards the monsters mouth.
"Oi, Crab face, I'm back," Katsuiki smirked as he grabbed his magical hook.
Yet when Katsuki tried to activate it's power, thinking happened as the hook gave off a small flicker of power. Monoma smirked as he turned to Kastuki as his cave slowly started turning dark, and grew to his full monster height.
Monoma laughed as he threw the now tiny demigod against the cave wall.
Monoma quickly grabbed izuku and tossed him aside as he continued to torment Katsuki.
Monoma sang as he stomped on Katsuki, and ripped the hook from his grasp.
The cave soon turned pitch-black, if it weren't for Monoma's glowing markings and other glowing plants. He quickly grabbed Katsuki by His hair and dangled him high in the air.
Monoma smirked as he dangled Katsuki in front Of Izuku and Oceania. As Monoma continued his song, Izuku quickly though of something and whispered it to Oceania.
"Hey, I got something shiny for ya!" Izuku shouted as he held a shiny green rock.
" The heart of Te Fiti. You can't run from me!" Monoma shouted as he dropped Katsuki. Izku quickly sprinted in a direction, while Oceania helped Katsuki to his feet. "Oh, you can...You keep surprising me. There's only so far you can get on those two little legs."
As Izuku ran, Monoma slamed his hand down, causing the ground to tremble. Izuku stumbled as he dropped the glowing rock into a crevis.
"Hahahaaa. The power of creation...for the crustacean. Where is it? Where is it?" Monoma said frantically as he dug for the heart.
" We gotta go," Izuku said as he carried the fish hook.
"what about the heart?" Katsuki groaned in pain.
"He can have it! I've got a better one," Izuku said as he showed the true heart.
" Hahahahaaa Yes! I have the ... Wait a minute... Ugh!! I see, he's taken a barnacle and he's covered it in bioluminescent algae...as a diversion. Grrr!!! Come back here!!! Raaaaahh!!!" Monoma growled as he chases them.
The three ran towards a large barnical, that was actually a gyser. Oceania waved her hand as the gyser came to life and spouted a powerful burst of water. Sending the three high into the ocean bayer. The three quickly got onto the canoe and sailed far way from Lalotai.
But things weren't as cheerful as one would expect, Katsuki laied on the deck with a sour mood. "Alright, break time is over. Get up," Izuku said.
"Why? You gonna give me a speech? Tell me I could beat Te Ka cause I'm ..."Katsuki". Take a f**king hint, Deku," Katsuki growled as he slow sat up, not facing Izuku or Oceania.
"How do you get your tattoos?" Izuku asked slowly.
"They show up when I earn them," Katsuk said simply.
"How did you earn that one? What's that for?" Izuku asked as he pointed to the tattoo on his upper back.
"GRR! F**K OFF!" Katsuki shouted in fury.
"Is that why your hook's not working? You don't wanna talk? Don't talk. You wanna throw me off the boat? Throw me off. You wanna tell me I don't know what I'm doing? I know I don't. I have no idea why the ocean chose me. You're right. But... my island is dying. So I am here. It's just me and you. And I want to help. But I can't if you don't let me." Izuku said slowly as he turned away.
Katsuki sat down on the deck, facng the opposite direction. He soon felt a wet hand on his shoulder, Katsuki turned his head slightly to Oceania standing next to hm.
" I wasn't born a demigod. I had human parents. They... They took one look and decided they... did not want me. They threw me into the sea... like I was nothing. Somehow I was found by the Oceania, and they presented me to the gods. They gave me the hook. They made me... Katsuki. And back to the humans I went. I gave them islands, fire, coconuts. Anything they could ever want," Katsuki said quietly.
"You took the heart for them. You did... everything for them. So they would love you," Izuku said sadly.
"It was... never enough," Katsuki mumbled, as Oceania slowly wrapped they're arms around him.
"Maybe the gods found you for a reason. Maybe Oceania brought you to them because it saw someone who was worthy of being saved. But the gods aren't the ones who made you Katsuki. You are," Izuku said tenderly.
