《The Love Abroad》Chapter Three

It was a little weird having Tom come over especially with Kris completely freaking out, but overall, the night turned out fantastic.

"So you have an audition at RADA? You know, I went there after I graduated at Cambridge, it's a fantastic school." Kris' eyes light up when Tom begins talking about his beginnings of his now, solid career. "Wait, you went to RADA?" I asked dumbfounded.

Kris darts me the death glare as Tom looks up from his drink with the most desirable smile.

"You don't know what I do, do you?" He looks into my eyes as I sit stone cold. "I guess not, we never really talked about it. I mean, how could we? This is our first date."

"Oh! I forgot. Well, I'm so sorry Marie, I should have told you. I am an actor.... I ----" Kris jumps in, finishing Tom's sentence, "He was in Thor, Midnight in Paris, Unrelated and Return to Cranford. Remember? We watched all those about 3 weeks ago!"

Yes, now I remember. But I didn't even notice him when we first met. He wasn't wearing that ridiculous horned helmet nor did he have that gorgeous curly blonde hair.

But like I said before, his name did sound familiar, however I had no idea I was getting involved with a man who was in the peak of his amazing acting career.

"Ah. Now I remember. You played that adorable guy in Return to Cranford with the amazingly curly hair," making Tom blush.

After a couple awkward stares, Kris stands up, excusing her. "Where are you going?" I ask a little worried. "I forgot, I have something with someone tonight. I feel much better. Tom, thank you for dinner, it was fabulous."

So we are, Tom and I, alone in my flat completely unaware of what will happen next. "Can you not look at me like that, please?" I looked down at my plate, trying to distract myself from what was happening.

"You seem like an interesting person Marie. I want to know more." I bring my face up, staring into his piercing blue eyes, "Well what do you want to know?" Tom moves from the folding chair to the couch, sitting right next to me.

He was so close his knee was touching my thigh & when it was quiet, I could hear him breathe.

"Everything. Tell me everything."

Never had I met a guy who wanted me to pour my soul to him.... ever. There was something about the way he asked me, the way he made me feel that I wanted to tell him everything.

"Where do I start?" He leans back on the couch, his hands folded in his lap, right leg crossed over the left.

"The beginning."
