Mike POV
My mom cried as I carried the last box to my car.
"Mom I'll still visit! Zoey and I aren't too far from here!" I gave her a hug and kiss and got into the car.
"Love you Mikey!"
" Love you too Mom!" I yelled as I pulled away from my mom's house.
I stopped at Zoeys house to see what was going on.
Zoey's stuff came flying out of the window.
" Dad stop!MIKE IS THE NICEST MAN YOU WILL EVER MEET!" I got out of the car and knocked on the door.I was scared of who might open it.
Zoey rushed out the door tears streaming down her face.
"Mike! We need leave NOW!"
"What's going on why did your stuff come flying out the window?!" I was so confused ,but I knew one thing.
Zoey's abusive, alcoholic dad had came back.
"Come on!" Zoey picked up her bags and I saw a deep cut on the side of her stomach.
"He cut you?"I said as we got into the car.
"Yes!HE IS TRYING TO FINISH ME OFF BECAUSE ALL I CAN SEE IS THE GOOD IN PEOPLE! " Zoey cried into my arm.
I drove away and dialed 911.
"911 What's you're emergency?" A lady said on the phone.
"A man at 973 Ditto Avenue has cut my fiance and to my understanding he just got of prison.He said he was going to finish her off!" Zoey looked at me tears still streaming down her face.
"My mom doesn't deserve a bad man like him! She doesn't need to be treated the way she is.He is just like my dad an abusive, a alcoholic ,who wants to kill me."

"It will be okay Zoey there are the police are going to take care of him." I smiled and she kissed my cheek.
"Thanks.Mike." Some of Zoey's mascara ended up on my shirt ,but this shirt is going to be in the a washer soon.
"Anytime." I was still driving away.
Zoey POV
I looked at Mike and wiped the tears of my eyes.
"Mike there is something I've been needing to tell you."
"What is it?" He looked at me and put the car in park I didn't notice that we already got here.
" You are the best thing that ever happened to me!"
" Thanks Zoey! You can carry your bags to room 4 complex S." I smiled and hauled my bags to the second story of the house.
I opened the door and set the stuff down in the living room and sat on the couch.
"Home sweet home!"
