"Hi," Kyle says, stood by the changing room as I come out of there.
"It's kinda concerning that you're always here just as I'm about to come out," I say.
"Dude, you came out long ago," Kyle says.
"True. Well. Are we going to yours or just standing?" I ask.
"Oh either is fine with me," Kyle says.
I laugh, feeling Kyle taking my hand.
"Lets go then," I say.
I take a hold of his hand.
"See you later, Super Boyfriend and Kyle," Kenny says, walking past us.
I roll my eyes.
"Fuck you too, Husband!" Kyle yells.
"Gladly, my wife," Kenny says.
I roll my eyes as he closes the door.
"So. Long time since it was just the two of us," I say.
Kyle is looking at the floor.
"W-What? Sorry, I've been kinda out of it," Kyle says.
"Yeah. Is everything okay?" I ask.
"Of course! I mean, I hurt my foot playing basketball, but nothing else," Kyle says.
"Hurt your foot? Which one?" I ask.
"This one. Token accidentally kicked me, when running. To be honest, he is stronger than he looks," Kyle says, pointing to his left leg.
"So. You are ready for games?" I ask.
"I think so. With the limited time we have because you asshole always have the gym, we're really good," Kyle says.
"When are your games?" I ask.
"Idiot. Next Tuesday. The same time you have your games, same place," Kyle says.
"Great. We'll have tons of really fucking tall people everywhere," I say.
"I'm offended by that," Kyle says, laughing slightly.
"Of course you are," I say, rolling my eyes.
"Remember, when we would always be somewhere, just the two of us?" Kyle asks.

"I kinda miss those times, but at the same time, I love Kenny and Le. They're fun," I say.
"Le? Is that Leo's name today?" Kyle asks.
"I could have song Pold, shut up," I say.
"Make me," Kyle says, with a wink.
"You spend too much time with Kenny," I say.
"Or I want to say that?" Kyle asks.
Kyle smiles, but it falls fairly quickly.
"Fucking leg. I've been putting weight on it," Kyle says.
I nod.
"Well, lets go," I say.
Kyle walks ahead of me, avoiding putting his weight on his left foot.
"You're looking kinda small," I say.
"Stan. Either you're a fucking idiot or you forgot, what small means," Kyle says.
"I know you're taller than me, I mean, skinny," Stan says.
"I've been moving more and, unlike you, I wasn't blessed with getting muscles, when I do sports," Kyle says.
"Oh okay," Stan says.
"What were you thinking? I eat pretty unhealthily, I don't think I could be on a diet," Kyle says.
"True. I just pointed it out," Stan says.
Kyle opens the door, keeping the door open for me as I get out.
"Thanks, Ky," I say.
Kyle closes the door, nodding.
"It's pretty," Kyle says.
I look up, seeing the stars.
"Yup, it is," I say.
"I don't know about you, but I like spotting stars. I used to climb into trees and do it," Kyle says, smiling.
"Fits," I say.
"What does that mean?" Kyle asks.
"I always saw that you are the person that loves light and shit like that," I say.
"You'd be correct. Although I didn't start to appreciate them until like a 8 months ago," Kyle says.

"Why?" I ask.
"When people grow up, they learn to appreciate new things," Kyle says.
I look over at Kyle. The fact that it's dark with a lamp just next to him just makes Kyle look like a painting...
Stop it Stan! Get a grip!
"Stan. Hey. Stan," Kyle says.
"Oh sorry. What were you saying?" I ask.
"I was saying that you should do the Jesus pose, you're in the perfect lighting. If I took a picture, you'd look like Jesus from that one painting," Kyle says.
I do the pose I know Kyle means.
"Perfect," Kyle says.
He takes a picture and shows it to me.
"Oh my god, that actually does look kinda like the painting we saw in history class," I say.
"Obviously, i just said it would look like it," Kyle says.
He smiles at me.
"Do you mind, if we take the longer route?" Kyle asks.
"Y-No, of course not," I say.
Kyle nods and we start walking.
"Am I actually dreaming?" I ask, quietly.
"Pinch yourself, if you think so. It doesn't actually work, but gives you the security of it not being a dream, before you maybe wake up," Kyle says.
"That doesn't mean shit," I say.
"But no, it's not a dream. You have certain things you can do in a dream that you cannot do in real life," Kyle says.
"But my dream would say that this is not a dream," I say.
"Why would this be a dream though? I mean, it could be, but in that case I would be in your dream because I remember everything here perfectly, even moments you weren't a part of," Kyle says.
"I guess," I say.
"I'm still interested as to, why this would be a dream," Kyle says.
"I feel like this wouldn't happen. First of all, the sun wouldn't set at like about six pm, second of all, all of this wouldn't happen," I say.
Kyle rolls his eyes.
"Better get used to it, Winter is coming," Kyle says.
"But it's not cold!" I say.
"Stan. Why would it be cold? Should it be cold?" Kyle asks.
"Because this is fucking South Park," I say.
"But climate change is happening, so, 'fucking South Park' might be fairly warm well into December," Kyle says.
I roll my eyes.
"Do you want this to be a dream?" Kyle asks.
"Obviously not. It's fun to hang out with you alone again," I say.
Kyle nods.
"I think so too," Kyle says.
He grabs my hand since we are at a street.
"I didn't even notice to look around," I say.
"You'd be dead without me," Kyle says.
We cross the street and he opens the door.
"Mom! Me and Stan here!" Kyle yells.
"Come in!" Sheila yells.
We get in.
"Stan! Nice to see you... again," Sheila says.
"Nice to see you as well, Sheila," I say.
"Well. We were about to eat in twenty minutes," Sheila says.
"Okay. Come on, Stan. Homework," Kyle says.
I sigh and nod.

The Tears of Kas̆dael
It was just supposed to be a game. A really, really great game, yes - but a game. Instead, Jasper got his heart ripped out by a brooding goddess and awoke to find himself in another world. No weapons, no skills. Naked. Trapped in a world full of ancient horrors, where gods and monsters still roam the earth, Jasper is forced to adapt quickly or die - and he's not ready to die. Good thing he's a mage. This is a high-fantasy novel with light LitRPG elements. It's not super-crunchy, but the system is an important part of the story. There is some light cursing and gore, but this is not a Grimdark novel. There will also be no harem. The current schedule is chapters on M-W-F of around 2000-2500 words, as well as occasional bonus chapters that provide background or insights into side characters. This is my first real attempt at writing a full novel, but the story is based on a world that I've been creating and re-creating since I was a child. I have an extensive "history" and religion, and even a semi-cohesive language system worked out, which will hopefully slowly shine through as the story progresses. I want to avoid having too many info-dumps, so I may from time to time post a bonus lore chapter that will explain some of the background for any who are interested.
