"I've been thinking about it this whole time." Bakugo said, "You actually got it from All Might, didn't you?" he asked, "Your power." he said, Since you're not denying it, it must be true." he said, "Damn it..." he said

"What're you going to do with the answer?" Izuku asked

"You and I both wanted to be like All Might." Bakugo said, "Right... That's how it was..." he said, "Someone I'd always thought was just a pebble was acknowledged by the person I admired without me realizing it..." he said, "That's why..." he said, "Let's fight." he said, "Right here, right now." he said

Izuku said, "We can't do this!" he said, but Bakugo just launched toward him, "Kacchan!" he said then notice Bakugo swing his right hand, 'His right?!' he thought, 'No, I got him like this before.' he thought, 'That's not it.' he thought, 'His right is a feint...' he thought then Izuku uses to jump away as Bakugo release a blast

"You like to read a lot into things, huh?" Bakugo asked, "Come on!" he said

"Are you serious, Kacchan?" Izuku asked then Bakugo launched at him, Izuku dodged under his swing then dodge more of Bakugo's blasts

"Two students from Class 1-A identified breaking curfew!" Security droid said, "Their homeroom teacher... Hey, Eraser Head!" he said

"Your students are at Ground Beta!" Security droid said, "You are responsible for them. Go scold them!" he said

"Seriously?" Aizawa asked then he head to the door "What in the world...?" he asked stepping out but someone stop him

"I said, wait!" Izuku said, "Do we really have to fight?!" he said, "There's no way you were wrong." he said, "No one said your admiration was wron--" he said but Bakugo attacked and he dodge, "Wait, I said!" he said

"Kacchan!" younger Izuku said as he run after Bakugo

"Even though you were always behind me..." Bakugo said

"Are you all right?" Younger Izuku said

"No matter how much I beat you up, you were always stuck to my back like glue...!" Bakugo said

"Kacchan!" Izuku said then dodge

"Don't run! Fight!" Bakugo said, "Even though we both admired the same person...!" he said

"This Young man is the Next Symbol of Peace." All Might said, "And My Successor." he said

"Why...?!" Bakugo asked as he attack but Izuku dodged "Why...?!" he asked as he use both of his hands but Izuku deflect the attack "Why...?!" he asked as he trip backward

"Are you okay?" Izuku asked holding his hand out but Bakugo slap it away

"Don't worry about me!" Bakugo said, "Fight! What the hell's wrong with you?" he asked as he stand up, "Why... Why did I end up having to chase after the back of someone who was always behind me?" he asked, "Why did a damn small fry like you get strong... and become acknowledged by All Might... and become his successor?" he asked, "Why is it that you became strong... but I... Why was I... Why was I the one who ended All Might?!" he asked, "If I'd been stronger and if I hadn't been kidnapped by villains, then that wouldn't have happened..." he asked, "All Might tried to keep it a secret... I couldn't tell anyone! Even if I try not to think about it... it just comes to mind unexpectedly!" he said, "I don't know what to do!" he said

'He's been carrying this with him this whole time...!' Izuku thought, 'More than me... this whole time... He's been worrying about it... Thinking about it...' he thought

"Enough, Kacchan this fight is pointless, you just want to let out the guilt you are feeling for All Might's retirement, attacking me isn't going to change that, so stop acting like a child." Izuku said then turned to walk away, but Bakugo attacked from above so Izuku jump away 'Too close.' he thought

"Don't turn your back on me." Bakugo said then launched toward Izuku

'He's gonna get here before I land!' Izuku thought, 'This is bad.' he thought, 'Repel his hand!' he thought then jump above Bakugo but Bakugo launched over Izuku then landed behind him then he throw a punch at Izuku but Izuku dodges by shooting then wind pressure from his finger, Izuku landed on the side of the building then jump to the roof of another building sitting on the roof

"Stop running and fight me!" Bakugo said

"I grow tired of this pointless fight." Izuku said, "So you should this." he said

"Shut up!" Bakugo said launching toward Izuku

"Sigh* here we go again." Izuku said then jump away then use the Separation Energy Item

Izuku separated into twenty clones of himself they landed with the Izuku's clones surrounding Bakugo in two layers then the two layers begin walking circles around Bakugo in two opposite directions

"Stop acting like a child and face reality like a grown-up." Izuku said all of the clones talk in sync confusing Bakugo "Stop using pointless violent whenever you get angry." he said, "Sit down and talk to a therapist and get rid of that superiority complex of yours, it has no place in the world of Pro Heroes." he said, "Maybe start by talking to All Might." they said then they turn to a corner "Come on out All Might, I know you are there." they said then All Might step out from the corner

"You know was here?" All Might asked

"Your step is really loud." Izuku said as the clone disappear

"I'm sorry I didn't notice..." All Might said turning to Bakugo

"It's too late..." Bakugo said, "Why Deku...?" he asked, "It started when the sludge villain came, right?" he asked, "Why this guy...?" he asked

"He was the more heroic than anyone else." All Might said, "I thought you were strong." he said, "But Izuku has a kind heart." he said, "I decided that he should also be able to stand in the ring." he said

"I should be bowing and begging you to keep this secret." All Might said, "Just how much will I need you to be considerate for my sake...?" he said, "Sorry, thanks." he said as Bakugo stand up

"I'm not being considerate." Bakugo said, "It's just too big a risk with too many drawbacks to spread this around." he said

"Now that it's come to this, I must explain enough to satisfy you, as well, Young Bakugo." All Might said, "That is only reasonable." he said

They begin to walk back

"All Might told Kacchan--" Izuku Narrates, "About the power passed down from one generation to the next to stand against a great evil." he narrates, "About how he became the number one hero and Symbol of Peace with that power." he narrates, "About how he was gravely injured and neared his limit." he narrates, "And... about how he selected his successor." he narrates

"Basically, if this is exposed, there'd be confusion about where the power is and stuff, huh?" Bakugo said

"My using up all my power was my own choice." All Might said, "I said this earlier, but it was not your fault." he said

"In the end..." Bakugo said, "...it doesn't change what I have to do." he said

"Yeah, you're right." All Might said

"But unlike what I've been doing until now, Deku--" Bakugo said, "Like how you've been watching me and everything around you and absorbing it to get stronger, I'll also make everything own to go higher." he said, "Higher than even you, the chosen one." he said

"Then, I'll go even higher than that!" Izuku said, "I'm always higher than you!" he said

"I said, I'm gonna surpass you!" Bakugo said

"Oh, shut up." Izuku said

'They've become proper rivals now, unlike before.' All Might thought

"The secret I had with All Might became a secret three of us shared." Izuku narrates

"And--" Izuku narrates

"You fought the night you finished the preliminary hero licensing exam, I'm glad to see that you two have so much energy!?" Aizawa said in irritation while strangling the two boys.

"Aizawa waits, hold up with those restraints, it's my fault this happened in the first place." All Might pleaded causing Aizawa to turn to him in confusion twitching his one eye.

"Midoriya and Bakugo, why am I not surprised to hear that I understand they're at the practiced field?" Aizawa asked while walking down the stairs.

"Yes, I wanted to catch them before you went... I've known these two since before they came to UA and I've given them the pair quite a bit of thought, will you leave them to me for now, I'll bring them back?" All Might requested.

"It's your fault, how is that?" Aizawa asked in irritation causing the two boys to get tensed a bit.

"It seems Young Bakugo has been feeling that he was responsible for my retirement, yet to face the licensing exam with those pent up emotions and then this inferiority complex exploded and this happened, it's all because I didn't realize I was being negligent, this whole fight was brought up because of the failure of his teacher." All Might explained whispered as Aizawa then release his restraints on the two boys.

"I understand that you felt they had to break the rules, but this isn't something that I can just ignore, there must be a suitable punishment, who threw the first punch!?" Aizawa demanded.

"I did." Bakugo replied then avert his eyes.

"I just dodge because breaking curfew is bad enough for me." Izuku added.

"BAKUGO YOU'RE UNDER HOUSE ARREST FOR FOUR DAYS AND MIDORIYA YOU ARE LET OFF WITH A WARNING SINCE YOU DIDN'T THROW A SINGLE PUNCH!" Aizawa scolded the two while Izuku cover his ear "DURING THAT TIME BAKUGO, YOU'LL CLEAN UP ALL THE COMMODITIES AND THE DORM MORNING AND NIGHT! PLUS I WANTED A WRITTEN APOLOGY IF YOUR INJURIES NEED TO BE CHECKED OUT HEAD TO THE INFIRMARY, BUT DON'T RELY ON THE OLD LADY'S QUIRK THIS TIME FIGURE OUT A WAY TO HEAL YOURSELVES!!!" Aizawa scolded he then sighed in annoyance. "That's all go!" he ordered.

"What?!" Class A except for Izuku, Bakugo, and Shoto said

"You guys fought?" Mina asked

"...and now you're under house arrest?!" Toru said

"That's dumb!" Sero said

"It's nonsense." Yuga said

"Are you stupid?" Denki asked

"The pinnacle of stupidity." Tokoyami said

"Actually it's just Bakugo who is under house arrest, I was let off with a warning since I didn't raise my fist, all I did was dodge." Izuku said

"Oh, well that's good." Momo said

"So, did you guys make up?" Ochaco asked

"It wasn't so much "makeup," as..." Izuku said, "Hmm... It's hard to put into words..." he said

"You're lucky you got away with a warning." Tenya said, "That means Bakugo will miss the opening ceremony we're going to now." he said

"Bakugo, what're you doing about the extra classes for the provisional license?" Shoto asked

"Shut up! It has nothing to do with you!" Bakugo said

"Kacchan, shut it and clean." Izuku said, "Everyone else let's go." he said

Then Everyone leaves
