Summer... summer... summer. That's the only thing going through my head this weekend. Freshman year is coming to a close. Just a few short more days until I get on that plane and leave Hadley. I'll be going to California, like I do every year. Six hours on a plane by myself sounds really good right now.

The only crappy thing is, I have to play with the band tomorrow. Just when you finally think you never have to wear those uniforms again, boom, something like this happens. It better be fun and worth it, though.

Tomorrow's forecast calls for rain. I watched like 5 different news stations that all said the same thing. My aunt from Florida said there's a hurricane warning in effect for the next three days. Of course we're going to get the stupid annoying rain. Hopefully, they'll cancel us playing outside tomorrow on the field, 'cause I'm not looking forward to it.

Ah, summer. My least favorite time of the year. With my mom dragging me to the beach, boiling sun, and slutty-dressed girls, how could anyone love summer? Whatever, all I know is that I'm skipping school tomorrow and tuesday. They don't need me there, and its not like we're going to work anyways.

I'll probably just sit in my room and listen to my iPod, but that sound too good to me. I'd rather not wake up at 6am just to go back to school for two pointless days. That's just about the only good thing about summer.

Mike and I had planned to go to the movies once a week this summer, but since he's not here, that dream is crushed. I was really looking forward to that, but clearly its not going to happen. Stupid Mike. Now I have to stay at home with my insane mother all freaking day. Woohoo.
