I know I haven’t mentioned him in a while, but if you think I’m over Andrew, you’re wrong.

I guess I kind of forgot about him after the whole Alex incident. But now, I’m back to having a long-term crush on this boy.

He knows it too. And he’s quite an ass about it. He points to me and whispers to his friends a lot. I know he’s not really saying anything, its just to get me mad. They weren’t wrong when they said boys mature slower than girls. Andrew acts like a second grader. No, second graders are probably more mature than him. Yet I still can’t seem to be getting any more over him.

Anyways, Christmas just passed a few days ago. My family celebrates Christmas, but not full-out. Its hard to explain.

We didn’t even have a tree, just like last year. I mean, there was a wreath hanging over the front door, but that’s about it.

I got presents, but not many. Simple things, like the North Face I knew I was getting. That’s only because my mom told me, which kind of spoiled the surprise.

Well, New Year’s Eve is tomorrow, I’ll probably sleep over Emma’s house. She invited a bunch of us to go; me, Felicia, Angela, Megan, and Savannah. The girls said they wanted to get to know her better. Worth a shot.

Yes, you didn’t read Mackenzie’s name. I told Emma not to invite her, because she hates Felicia and Savannah. I’m not too positive about Felicia, but I know she hates Savannah because she punched Alex.

It might be wrong to not invite Mackenzie, but hey, she doesn’t have to know, right? Its just like the mall trip. Its not like we’re saying she’s not invited to her face. So I guess its not totally bad.

Christmas has passed, and Mike’s still not back yet.

People stopped caring. Even his parents told me to give up and just wait for him to come back.

But I won’t give up, not until he’s back.

I am miserable. I sit in my room all day, listening to the same song over and over until I cry. I made sure I was quiet so my mom wouldn’t hear.

I go to my phone to text Mike, and realize he won’t text back. Maybe I should just give up.

He could be anywhere by now.

I didn’t get anything for Christmas. Only a necklace from Courtney. My mom said she was too lazy to go out and get me something. So I didn’t get her anything, either.

If Mike was here, I know he’d get me something for Christmas. Before he left, he told me he went to the mall to find something, but there was nothing as special as me. And that was enough.

I start to slit my wrist with a razor. There are now lines all down my forearm. This pain I can control. I can’t make Mike come back, but I won’t give up hope.

It may seem like I am, but the cutting helps. It reminds me that he left because of me. And when he comes back, I need to change that.
