A/N:
You all know what kind of Park I have, right?
*
Park is summoned alone to meet his seniors, Kongpob and his men.
"Sawadee, P'Kongpob." Park greets Kongpob after stepping out from the field where the SOTUS gathering is being held.
Kongpob is standing on the side of the field, behind him there are Aim, Tiew and Wad. He turns his attention from the field to Park. "Your leader got it bad, huh?"
Park flinched. "What do you mean, P'?" He asks politely.
"He can't control your so-called famous junior, Beam Baramee." Kongpob hisses. "Ming can't control him! He has to get his own senior to control him and make Forth abandon the most important thing of our tradition, SOTUS."
Park blinks.
"Forth failed as the Moon and the Head Hazer."
Park tightens his grip, tries to contain his anger that could explode at any time. Where's Lam when he needed him...?
"Take it back, P'," Park hisses.
Kongpob flinches. "What?"
"Take yor words back." Park really tries his best not to burst in anger right now. "My leader is not a failure. He is not failing his job as the Moon, nor as the Head Hazer."
Kongpob blinks. He walks slowly to get closer to Park and hisses just an inch in front of his nose. "Yeah? Then what do I see? He plays love with his junior during SOTUS and again, repeating the history with the Moon courting Moon thing?!"
Lam, in a distance looks at how Park is getting attacked coldly by Kongpob. He gulps. He is worried at how Park would handle his temper. Park it hot headed, gets worked up easily... and....
Park takes a step back to earn enough space to close his palms together and give a wai politely to Kongpob. "I won't say anything unnecesary, P'. You'll just see." He hisses, trying to say it as calm as possible. "Sawadee, P'." And even gives a proper greeting before he walks away from the war field with the fourth year seniors.
Wad makes a slow motion claping hands. "He controlled his emotion. Wow. Is that really Park?"
Kongpob blinks seeing Park walk away, refusing to hear his judgement towards Forth.
"He doesn't admit his leader is a failure, boss," Tiew says to Kongpob.
Kongpob stays still. He can see how Lam hurriedly walks to Park and rounds his arm over him.
Max and Tul are running to him too.
"Forth's boys are loyal," Aim says. "The second years are also loyal to Forth," he adds. "If I were you, I'll watch my back, Ai'Kong. Saying bad things about Forth... and if he doesn't like it, the entire year will come after you."
Kongpob looks at Aim.
"He's the King. Everybody knows that. His words is THE command," Aim continues.
"Then why doesn't Beam..."
"Beam is listening to Forth too," Aim says, "...in his own way."
Kongpob looks at the field again. This time his eyes meet with Max's eyes. He is clearly glaring at Kongpob but hurriedly looks away.
"Careful, Ai'Kong," Aim says it again.

Park makes time to go to the Moon Gathering again to meet Forth in person.
"Boss," he calls out Forth.
Forth is still thinking about the talent Beam should use, by sitting under the tree with Beam between the break. He looks up when Park calls him out.

Park makes a movement with his chin for Forth to follow him. He doesn't want to say it in front of Beam.
Forth gets up and goes with Park.
Beam only smiles thinly at Park and drowns in his thoughts again. He really can't think what his talent is.
Not long after, Ming comes to Beam. "P'Beam, where's P'Forth?"
"He was just here... but P'Park was looking for him. He must be around," Beam says.
"Can you get him, please? I can't leave the Auditorium. Tell him that he is needed for the next sharing session with P'Pha."
Beam cringes. "Ouch. With Pha?"
Ming nods. And then he realizes something. "Why don't you call P'Pha with P' too?"
"He's my friend, not my senior," Beam answers as he gets up.
Ming becomes sad instantly. "Owh, P'Beam. Am I not your friend then?"
Beam chuckles. "Of course you are, Ming. But I have to keep your face in front of the SOTUS junior, don't I?"
Ming has a sudden realization. "Owh? That's why you call me as your P'?"
Beam just smiles. He taps Ming's shoulder and then walks to find Forth.
"... I don't want to hear him call you a failure again!" Park's yells making Beam walk towards the source of the voice. "I am so close to punching his face if I didn't remember your bullshit... talking about seniority, seriously! How dare he called you a failure."
Forth chuckles. "Owh, Ai'Park... are you love with me or what? Lam would kill me if he hears about this."
Park shows a middle finger to Forth. "Fuck you, fluffy toys! This is why I warned you to control Beam!"
"Beam is cool." Forth smiles.
"Fuck you, Forth! He causes you trouble! He is constantly creating trouble after trouble! I don't even have to mention how he is a nuisance since the first day of SOTUS! He doesn't take the Moon thing seriously and makes Ming not able to handle him so that you have to be here all the time for him just to make him not to skip the gathering! And that is making you leave your duty as the Head Hazer. And then he makes a scene and makes the 'Moon courting the Moon' a thing on the social media, and the seniors despise you!!"
Forth looks at Park. "You really need your daily doze of Lam, Park," he says teasingly.
"Stop joking!! You are spending too much time with Beam, you have become uncountable! Think about your boys, Forth!!"
Forth sighs. "Just give me time, okay? Beam can't be told just like that, he needs..."
"He needs you to treat him harder! You are soft!! Fluffy!!!" Park cuts Forth's words.
"Listen, Park..."
"No! You listen!" Park refuses to listen. "You are my friend! Beam is our PAST drinking buddy! I don't even need him in my life! I don't care! But you are my friend! I can't stand when people talk trash about you! Moreover you would not like it if I punch their faces!"
Forth sighs.
"Just hit him in his smug face if he plays his trick on you! Make him do his job!!"
"He always does his job, Park," Forth says calmly. "He's the only one with 1000 senior's signatures, remember? None of the SOTUS freshmen ever made it, but he made it. He just has his own way in making it happen."

Park shakes his head in despair. "Forth... please..."
Forth holds Park's shoulder with both his hands. "Trust me on this, okay? I'll talk to him."
"But...."
"Remember the 10 laps Beam takes after showering me with coffee and tomyum?" Forth cuts Park's words.
Park nods.
"Beam gave it to himself when I didn't give him."
Park blinks. "Really? Why did he do that?"
"He knows how to keep a name and dignity, Park. We can trust him. He just needs a little motivation from himself."
Park sighs.
"Just give him time, okay?"
Park nods. "I hope you were right."
Forth smiles. He nods. "Now, go get your daily doze of Lam."
Park chukles. "Daily doze of Lam? Really? How did you come up with that?"
Forth pushes Park's back to make him leave. "That was obvious, Ai'Stupid! Get lost."
"I expect good news tomorrow, boss."
Forth shows a thumb up. He doesn't know how, but he'll try to talk to Beam while having Korean dinner tonight.
Just at the corner, Beam is leaning on the wall. He heard everything. Park's concern... it's amazing actually seeing the other side of Park. He is super lovely, no wonder he melted the cold heart of Lam.
Beam takes a long deep breath. Maybe he should stop making too much trouble. Well, this beauty pageant is really embarassing for him, but apparently it's important, so...
"P'Forth!" Beam walks out from his hidden place and greets Forth. "P'Ming is looking for you. It's time for a sharing session with the Campus Moon and the Runner up of your year!"
Forth turns his attention from Park's back to Beam. "Huh?"
"It means with P'Pha~..." Beam says it teasingly.
Forth sighs and then looks up at the sky hopelessly.
It's hard to be a senior.
"Come on, P'Forth, be strong na.... You can do this!" Beam lights the spirit.
*
"Gyahahahahaha!! Super awkward scene!" Beam laughs so hard during the dinner at the Korean restaurant. He is laughing his ass off remembering how Phana and Forth were on the stage ... pretending to be friendly and all when they are yet to settle the differences between them.
Forth sighs. He looks at Beam un-amused. "You enjoy this too much, N'Beam."
"Seriously, P'Forth, you should look at your face."
Forth growls. "If it's not because of you making me baby-sit you during Moon Gathering, I would have been hazing and would not have been invited to give a sharing talk with Phana! You have to stop making trouble."
Beam smiles thinly. "... yeah... "
"You have to listen... what? Did you say 'yeah'...?" Forth is dumbfounded.
Beam chuckles. He nods. "Yes, P'."
Forth blinks. "Seriously?"
Beam nods again. "I will do my best, P'. I don't know how but I will work harder. I will try to win this Campus Moon thing for the sake of Engineering."
Forth blinks. For real?
"You don't have to worry. I will train hard and deliver you the result," Beam continues. "You can leave me and get back to your hazing activities. I'll be fine."
Forth is stunned. "Are you sure?"
Beam nods again. "During last year's competition, instead of paying attention to your Junior Moon, you choose to pay more attention to another Moon and look at the result! Your Junior Moon won the title! Yay!"
Forth looks at Beam un-amused. Just when he thinks Beam changed, he mocks him again. "You sound too happy, N'Beam."
Beam just winks at Forth. "What? You don't like to hear the ugly truth? You did abandon your job last year, P'Forth..."
Forth sighs. "You really should not have enrolled in Engineering and mess up my life, N'Beam."
Beam laughs.

The next day, Forth is back to his hazing activities, but he is concerned about Beam's words. Last night he sounded assuring, but...
Tul looks at his Head Hazer and decides to step up. "I'll check up on him and give a live report, boss," he says.
Max nearly jumps from his seat. He doesn't like when Tul is away without him outside the Engineering faculty. He'll attract many girls.
Forth looks at Tul. "You'll do that?"
Tul nods. "I'll also send a video so you can be sure."
Forth nods. "Thanks, Tul," he says. And then he catches how Max is looking at him, pleading actually, with his puppy eyes.
"Yeah... yeah..." Forth adds. "You can go with him, Max."
Max grins widely on getting the permision.
Tul rolls his eyes. Max is big and scary. People make a way even when Max is still 30 meters away. Really weird. "Promise me you won't make a scene," Tul says. Their friends in Engineering are used to Max's antics, but not the outside world.
Tul doesn't want Max to create a fight just because some people accidentaly bumped onto Tul's shoulder like what happens for the hundredth time already.
Max nods.
Tul sighs. It sure will be a long day in the outside world with Max and just the two of them.
*
"Wow. He is actually practicing the dance." Lam clicks his tongue in awe.
Beam looked dead serious while paying attention to the instructor and moves his body with determination.
Tul sends the video to the 'SOTUS 1234' group chat where all the Engineering students from the freshmen to the fourth years are on.
"Our Moon is working hard. Our Star is working hard. Let's give support by voting on their page!!" Tul adds the comment too.
They get a positive response.
"What did you say to him?" Lam asks Forth.
Forth shrugs. "I bought him his favorite food. Korean."
"You hate Korean," Park says.
"I don't hate it. I just prefer Italian." Forth retorts. He is still looking at the video. "Now we know how to make him do things."
"Take him on a date?" Park mocks Forth.
Forth smacks on Park's head. "Bribe him with food."
"Owh, I thought it was a date," Lam adds to the mocking.
Forth looks at Lam un-amused. "You are really siding with Park, huh?"
Lam just brushes lightly on his nose. A light pink tint is coloring his cheeks.
Max and Tul make a throw up gesture together with Forth while Park is clueless because he is busy getting annoyed thinking that Lam blushed because of Forth.

A/N:
Whatever helps you sleep at night, P'Forth-darling... if you think it's not a date...well...maybe
Thank you, again and again, @Darzls . May your life be showered with happiness.

The Last Science
[This story is on a temporary hiatus due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. I work in healthcare and unfortunately no longer have the freetime to continue posting on a regular basis. As soon as our workload decreases, I will return. Thanks for reading! 💙] No one ever knows the whole story. Nestled deep in the forests of the Pacific Northwest, something is emerging. Kept in absolute secrecy, it seeps into a fading town, quietly shared from person to person. For Alden Bensen, a directionless high school graduate, this discovery could mean an escape from his empty existence. To Rachel DuValle, perpetually underestimated and dismissed by the world, magic represents a chance to become something much greater than herself. In the face of an unsuspecting world, their decisions shape the growth of a budding society discovering untold power. This potent force offers anyone the power to change humanity forever—or send it cascading into swift and total annihilation. Want this story in smaller bites? Click here! The Last Science is an ongoing science-fiction / low-fantasy web novel series, focused on the modern world with a twist. New societies bud and grow, but the people who make them up are imperfect and flawed. The story includes elements of mystery, action, crime, interpersonal drama, relationships, philosophy, sociology, politics, and much more, all centered on the perspective characters driving the tale. Each chapter is pretty long (average ~8000 words), so find somewhere comfy to read. Content Warning (by request): This series delves into some topics and situations which may be upsetting for some readers. 8 200Memories of the Bean Times
To those who have survived: I write this now, for I fear my death is imminent. Barnabas Schmidt wasn't serious when he said he knew what was going on in Paris. Thomas Sauer wasn't expecting to put his life on the line studying a mysterious disease. Julia Krause wasn't trying to join a cult. And the Holy Roman Empire wasn't prepared to fight the Beans. In the year 1587, the small farming village of Dijon in the Kingdom of France is attacked by seemingly immortal monsters made out of baked beans. As Schmidt fights against the Beans on the front lines, the Beans steadily approach the Empire's borders. As Sauer searches for the Beans' weaknesses, the Church of the Beanmeister paves the way for the arrival of the God. As Krause helps the Church, she begins to question her loyalty to the Beanmeister. Updates every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Chapters are available earlier on the Bean Times website: https://beantimes.github.io
8 120Lost souls, will be rewritten soon. (Old version)
In a world where mages stand above the peasants, the nobles, and the law, it is not surprising that everyone wants to learn magic. Five siblings from a village in the middle of nowhere felt the same. Unfortunately, a dragon brought ruin to their home, eventually cornering the five blood brothers. Luz, the eldest brother, ignored the warnings of his ancestors for the sake of their survival. Using an ancient teleportation spell, he and his siblings were sucked into a portal leading to God-knows-where. In a foreign place far from home, Luz carries the burden of disobeying his ancestors and losing his younger brothers. He sets off to reunite his siblings and slay the dragon that destroyed their village while only being equipped with one useless space spell that drains all his mana after one usage. Author's note: English isn't my first language and this is the first novel I tried writing, which is why some of the earlier chapters aren't that good, even though I grew better over time. I'm still in the phase of editing a lot of my earlier chapters. But unfortunately, I haven't yet found any time for it. Daily updates are to be expected till we reach chapter 100. If your comment motivates me, I might upload up to five chapters.^^
