I didn't intend for it to happen. She definitely didn't expect it to happen. It just. Happened. I'll explain from the beginning.
I wake up from my alarm blaring bedside me. I'm one of those people who have their phones in their bed with them and use that as their alarm. I groan and squint at my unusually bright screen, turning the damn noise off.
stepping out of bed I welcomed the lightly warm wooden floor as the morning light has been shining on it for the last half hour. My feet lightly tap against the floor boards on my way to my ensuite. The bathroom tiles, a different kind of cold compared to the floor boards of my room.
I wait for the shower to go hot while I undress from my pyjamas. The shower is a welcome change from the cool morning air. I wash myself, readying myself for the day ahead. My uniform doesn't consist of much. I work for a hotel, as part of the management team, but my management if of the security. I'm not overly masculine but I've grown up with rough big brothers and have had karate lessons as a kid, as well as my training for security work. My uniform consists of a white button up, black blazer and dress pants with my work shoes and my gun holster. I know I shouldn't work there anymore, I know the hotel owner is using her hotel to sell drugs and other illegal on goings. But here's the kick. I'm so in love with her. You see, she use to be one of my aunty's good friends. I'm twenty-six and she's forty-two. It's unrealistic but she's my drug. I live in pain around her but I can't be without her.
I walk toward my kitchen, my dog walking beside me once she spots me walk passed her bed in the living room. After reaching into the cupboard for dog food and feeding Maze I grab my keys and an apple, heading for the door.
"Be good. I'll be back." I say seriously to my dog, trying to reassure her. I sigh and shake my head at myself as she's eating and ignoring me.
I squint from the shock of sunlight and unlock my black Isuzu Ranger, sliding in and starting the commute to work. The closer I get to my destination the more anxious and excited I get.

I park in the employee parking, I smile as I see her car parked but her lights are still on. She's just arrived and I'll have the chance to walk up with her. I park my car next to hers and turn my engine off. By the time I get out of my car she's at her boot getting her bag out.
She has a black, low cut jumpsuit on with matching heels. She always dressed so stunningly, clothes that make me want to forget about how irrational it is and tell her how I feel. Her dark brown hair is down and parted more to the left, she's curled her hair today like most days. It's resting just off her shoulders.
I walk to her and smile, she sees me, her blue eyes locking onto my green ones and instantly her usually sensual smirk forms on her lips.
"Good morning Isla." I smile instantly as those three words leave her beautiful lips.
"Good morning Lena." I reply. She smiles, genuinely.
"How is your the family?" She asks. I smile.
"As far as I know pretty good. I haven't gone home yet." She frowns at me slightly.
I wait for her to close the boot and we walk together in silence to the lift. Once inside she turns to me.
"Why haven't you gone to see them?" I shrug. She sighs and presses the stop button. I turn to her with a sigh.
"Talk to me." She pleads. She has her hand holding my forearm. I sigh and just look at her for a moment.
"I don't want to tell you. I don't want anything to change between the two of us." I say.
"What is it?" I sigh, looking at her hand on my arm. She uses her free arm to refocus my attention to her eyes.
I smile softly at her beautiful features and cup her cheek, caressing it lightly with my thumb. She sighs as her eyes close for a moment. When they reopen there is a glow behind them. Something shining through.
I take her response as a good one and let my other hand sit on her hips, bringing her toward me, her hips touch mine. I smile softly to myself at her slightly flustered look. I know, that this can either go really good or really bad. I give one soft laugh to myself thinking well here goes nothing as I lean in and press my lips to hers. Not forcefully but enough for her to know how deep my feelings for her are.

She responds by wrapping her arms around to the back of my neck. Her lips moving between mine and she tries to pull me closer. I press her against the walls her back turning off the emergency button. As the lift jolts up from its suspended state. It makes both of us stumble slightly. We break apart with my arms around her trying to keep her steady.
She looks at me and gives a small amused mark from the lift but her cheeks are so red as I watch her search my eyes for something. I smile and caress her cheek once more. This time she cups my hand in hers, and presses her lips to my hand.
Before either of us could speak, the doors pinged open and we flung apart quicker than I've ever seen either of us move. Thankfully no one was waiting to get on and out worries ease.
"Lunch time, come to my office okay?" She whispers as we step out of the lift.
"Okay." I walk to my office which is right across the hallway from hers.
"How long until lunch?" I ask exasperated as I look at the time. It's going on to 11:30 which is when my lunch break starts. As soon as the clock hits 11:30 I stand up, walk out and lock my door, turning, I knock on hers. She calls for me to open so I do. Closing and locking it behind me. She smiles as she sees me and puts down the book keeping.
"Hey..." She trails off. She seems unsure how to act which makes me smirk. It's not that often that she doesn't have anything to say or that's she's unsure on what to do next.
"Hey." I say back as I walk to her. I sit on the corner of his table, crossing one leg over the other, my legs slightly swaying off the ground. She watches my every move, not saying a word.
"So..." I give a soft laugh. I lean a short distance forward and whisper in her ear.
"Do I make you nervous?" I whisper seductively. She sighs and gives a small shiver before standing from her chair and moving between my legs. Without warning her lips are on mine and I can't help but need a few seconds to catch up.
She has her hands tugging at my hair as her lips move against mine so fiercely. I can't help but smile at the urgency of her kissing me.
I take hold of her hips, standing up in front of her as she continues to kiss me. The kiss deepens and kissing her passionately is like everything I imagined. The erotic feeling rising, the adrenaline from how wrong this should be and the excitement of something new as well as what I can only describe as pent up emotions being released into this kiss. I pull away from the kiss.
"As much as I'd like to spend te whole of my lunch just kissing you. We need to discuss this." I say honestly. She smiles at me and kisses my lips softly.
"You're cute when you get serious." I roll my eyes but smile at her comment.
"I'm serious though. You're my employee and you're a family friend. Almost twice my age." I point out. She crosses her arms in front of my with a hard gaze.
"What so you're saying you don't want to even see what this might be? Too impossible?" She asks with anger and hurt clear in her voice.
"I never said that. I wouldn't have kissed you. Hell I wouldn't even be working for a place like this if it weren't for you." She looks at me confused, but wide eyed and recognition follow suit.
"You know?" She asks.
"I've always known. I just wanted to make sure you were safe. And wanted to be close to you." I take her hands in mine as I say this.
"I want this with you. I didn't say I didn't. I pointed out things we have to discuss. This will be a lot for our friends and family to get use to." I point out. She purses her lips and nods her head.
I cup her cheek and press my lips softly to hers. Her hands make their way to my hair and I find myself deepening the kiss. I don't know what it is about her but she's got me wrapped around her finger.
