A/N:
I thought I already uploaded this chapter. I came back to write another, only to see I didn't actually upload. Not only that, but this chapter apparently didn't save, so now I have to re-write this ENTIRE chapter. Sigh.
Your POV
I was awoken by a shove from Link.
"Alright, (Y/N). Here's the plan. I know for a fact you'll want to come with me on the devine beast, so get yourself ready. We'll head back to the Gerudo whatever, and talk to Ms. Chief. That heirloom of hers should be of use to us, so we'll see if we can borrow it or something. With me so far?"
I rubbed my eyes and stared blankley at him.
"..Okay." He heaved a sigh, then continued. " We don't know what to expect in that beast, so we have got to be prepared for anything. I've already gone through our supplies and made sure we had enough food and elixirs for the mission. I think the thing that took down Urbosa is still in there. We'll probably have to fight it. Once again, we don't know what will happen, so we need to be prepared. We'll figure out our battle plan when we enter. This shouldn't take too long, but-" he stopped mid-sentence and stared at me.
"Are you even listening?"
"Hm? Yeah, yeah. Beast thingy, gotta be prepared, uh, probably a monster inside."
"Alright, just go get dressed. Meet me outside the inn." He turned and exited.
I left the inn soon after, and was met by the smell of Link's cooking. His meals are to die for.
"Breakfast is almost ready, take a seat," he stated with a smile almost as nice as the food he was preparing.
I sat down opposite of him, and he soon after handed me a plate.

We quickly finished eating.
"I wanna try that teleport thing out. Seems a lot better than walking."
"Alright. Im not sure how it'll work with two people, but whatever. Come over here."
I stood next to him and watched him mess with the slate.
"Hold onto me. I might leave without you if you just stand there."
I grabbed his hand and swallowed the lump in my throat. Here goes...
Link's POV
I tapped on the shrine icon and closed my eyes. Moments later, we were in front of Gerudo Town. Y/N was squeezing my hand tightly, looking a bit sick. She grabbed her stomach and leaned over.
"Ah, yeah, forgot to warn you. The first time is the worst," I said while patting her back. I gave her a second to get her barings before we enter the town.
"Riju, we're ready," Y/N says.
"Yes, good. Grab a sand seal and meet me at the lookout station." Without another word, she left to another room. Y/N and I glanced at each other, then did as we were told.
Riju greeted us with a smile as we approched the building.
"Thank you for arriving so quickly. As you can probably see, Devine Beast Vah Naboris moves quite fast. We'll need to use sand seals to approch. Naboris uses lightning as a defense, so I will be wearing this helm. You two must stay close to me. Are you prepared for your upcoming battle?"
Y/N and I didn't hesitate. We were ready.
We followed Riju outside, where she placed the over-sized helm on her head. She said a prayer to her ancestors, asking for their help. As soon as she finished, a large, glowing circle surrounded her, and we were off.
"Take these bomb arrows! When we get close to Naboris' hooves, shoot them!" Riju yelled over the wind. Y/N and I eqquiped our bows and aimed.

We quickly took out the first three, but had trouble with the last. My sand seal was getting aggitated, and made it difficult to aim.
"Whats up with your steering, Link?!" Y/N shouted.
I ignored her remark and concentrated. I carefully pulled back my string and let my arrow fly. Bam, bitch!
Naboris fell to the ground dramatically. The ground shook violently beneath it, nearly causing us to fall. We did it, though. Vah Naboris was down. Now to board the beast...

8 149Myth of The World's Trees
And Simon answered their call with a single statement that nobody understood "Et super mos absit hoc hodie!" "Yah!" "WWWaaaaaaahhhhhhhh!" "AAAlllllaaaaallllaaaaallllaaaa!" "EeEEellllleeeeeelllllleeeeeeuuuuuuu!" I, too, yelled a battle cry at the top of my lungs. I had no idea what Simon had just spouted but from Camilla's giggling, I could guess that Simon thought that spouting nonsense was his way of getting out of the earlier predicament. "I forbid death upon this day," Camilla said. "What?" I answered a bit at a loss. "Ancient Latin," she replied smugly, "He said 'I forbid death upon this day'." I laughed aloud "Then he is gonna be really disappointed in everyone here," Camilla did not reply and instead took a deep breath. I did the same, zoning out everything in my surroundings. The environment became a world of electrical pulses traveling across several networks. I perceived the world through my lightning and sped my heartbeat to inhuman levels. I was present now, at this moment, at this point in time. I could feel the electrifying air saturating my lungs, the electrified ground vibrating at the rhythm of the approaching enemy. Then I took a step forward, everyone followed in tandem. Camilla the first, and then the others. Then I took a second step, and this time everyone followed simultaneously. Third step… Fourth step… Fifth step… Then light jogging… Speeding up… Running … Running faster…. Then suddenly, everyone disappeared into motes of light particles that re-constructed itself hundreds of feet above the horde, dozens of miles away from our initial position. We were literally 'diving' into battle.-------------------------------------------------------------------Despite a rough childhood in the slums, Omari had everything a guy could want - a loving girlfriend, an understanding sister, a wonderful teacher, and his dream job.
