After a 30 minute walk, Zelda was at her own house. Because it was a Friday, she had the weekend off before having to go back to school and think about the English project. It also meant that she could think in general.

She heard that in Link's conversation with the teacher that he was talking about physically not being able to talk. He knew that she was in the room, yet it seemed that her being there didn't bother him. By what was said, it seemed that that was the first time he had spoken to that teacher.

That week was so insane for both Link and Zelda alike. Link had said more words in school than he had in the past few years, and Zelda was there every time it had happened. She wasn't aware of that though, and thought that she just didn't notice that he talked sometimes.

Once home, Zelda's Mum greeted her politely.

"Zelda! Hi darling, how was your day?" She said at the door, almost like she was waiting for Zelda to come home.

"Hi... Are you okay?" Zelda said, taking her satchel off and hanging it over the banister. "Besides, why aren't you at work?" She asked.

Zelda's Mum worked as a psychologist at her school and dealt with students that had any issues. Luckily, her office seemed empty other than her most of the time. Zelda often left her lunch in the office and visited to pick it up at lunch, and she never saw anyone in there other than her own mother.

"I've been let off early when I've no appointments. I've been home for a few hours" She said whilst sitting down with Zelda on the couch.

"Okay... Cool. I'm going to bed. It's been a long day" Zelda said as she got off the couch and started walking upstairs, but going slowly as she was tired.

"Wait, Zelda"

"What is it?" She sighed.

"I'll tell you tomorrow, you seem tired. Just... Have an open mind, yeah?" Her Mum said, smiling reassuringly.

"Um... Okay?" Zelda carried on trotting up the stairs, not thinking twice about what her mother had said.

She went to bed early and slept like a rock, not thinking twice about anything as she fell asleep as soon as her head hit the pillow.

The next morning, Zelda's Mum was still acting really strange. She constantly had the same expression on her face with everything she said and she had breakfast all made and set out on the table.

"Seriously, what in Hyrule is wrong with you recently?" Zelda said as she sat at the table, and still getting ready to eat despite complaining.

"Nothing. Well, there's something that I need to talk to you about. A favour" Her Mum replied sipping on her coffee.

"Okay. You did mention something yesterday. What is it?" Zelda asked.

"Shoot, look at the time! I need to go. I'm meeting your father. We're going to be out 'till late, so I promise I'll talk to you tomorrow!" She rushed off.

"Um... Bye then!"

*The next day*

"Zelda!" Her Mum called down rather early on the Sunday morning. Zelda had only just woken up.

"What? It's too early" Zelda yawned, meeting her Mum in the kitchen.

"It's 10 am. You better get ready if you want to be there on time"

"Be where? I was planning on staying inside and practicing for this stupid English thing all weekend" She lied.

"Don't tell me you forgot!" She dropped her handbag on the counter.

"Forgot what?" Zelda said defensively.

"Oh, I never actually told you, did I? I've got you another job! I know that it didn't go too well last time, but a good friend of mine has a son who is struggling in school. Heck, she's even considered moving him just because of his performance. And believe it or not, I said you'd go over and help him study"

"Mum! There's a reason I quit last time. Besides, I don't even know this person. At least I knew who I was tutoring last time" Zelda replied, her voice obviously upset.

"I know. But he really needs this more than anyone. It's a... Special case to say the least. I know that you're a kind person"

"What do you mean 'special case'?"

"He's... One of my few patients. He goes to your school and he's in your year, the chances are you've heard of him at least. He doesn't want to move but he can't ask his teachers for any help. When I say 'special case' I really mean that you might be his last chance"

Zelda stayed silent, she really felt bad for this boy. Although she didn't understand the situation very well, she would learn eventually. Because of her kind nature, she agreed to whatever this was.

Zelda used to tutor other kids around her age as a little job. She'd get paid by the parents pretty decent amounts, and help people get their grades up.

"I..." She sighed. "Fine. But if he's disrespectful or mean, then I'm walking straight out of that door"

"Thank you, Zelda. I knew I could count on you. Well, you better get dressed then"

Zelda did as she was told, sighing heavily as she slumped up the stairs. Once she made it to her room, she screamed rather loudly into a pillow. She really didn't want to do this, but she couldn't say no with the things her Mum was saying.

She walked over to and opened her wardrobe, looking at all of her options. With a job like this, she had to make a good first impression, with the parents as well as the person she was helping. After searching through a few options, she decided to go with a cute white blouse and some regular jeans. She looked at her choice in the mirror once it was on and thought a lot about it. Getting into something like this and not feeling confident in everything you're doing was pretty bad, and set off a bad impression. If the person's grades weren't improving, it'd badly affect her reputation.

"Zelda! Are you nearly ready?" Her Mum shouted up the stairs. Zelda took one deep breath in front of the mirror as she sorted out her long, blonde hair.

"Yeah" She replied, grabbing her backpack and exiting her room, closing the door behind.

She jogged down the stairs and met her Mum at the door, who was also ready to go.

"I can take you every week, so you don't have to worry about making your own way" Zelda's mother said as she opened the door.

"Thanks. That's if I'm actually going to go every week" She replied as she walked out of the door after her Mum, closing it behind her.

"Don't be like that, Zelda. He's lovely, and you're nice too. There's no way you won't get along"

"What's his name?" Zelda asked.

"You'll find out soon enough"

"That is extremely shady"

"You'll know him when you see him anyway. Probably"

Zelda folded her arms and sighed. She was unusually nervous about this. She didn't normally get these kind of nerves, especially with just another job. If it was because of her Mother's weird words or just the fear of not knowing what was going to happen, she was anxious nevertheless.

After a 10 minute drive, they arrived at their destination. Zelda got out of the car and took a deep breath.

"I'll pick you up in a few hours. Just tell them you're my daughter" Her mum gave her a few last words of encouragement.

She walked up the cobble path and lightly knocked on the door after a minute of fresh air. She took a few deep breaths to try and settle her heart rate, but it didn't work too well.

"Hi! You must be Zelda" A man answered the door, obviously the father.

"Yeah. Hello, sir" Zelda replied, putting on a smile.

"Don't be shy, come in!" He opened the door further and stepped to the side. Zelda did as she was told and stepped inside, taking her shoes off immediately.

"My wife isn't here at the moment, but she really can't wait to meet you" He said. "Go and sit in the living room, make yourself comfy, I'll get him down" He smiled as he started walking up the stairs.

Zelda walked into the room and took a seat on the couch. She took a few more deep breaths as she noticed her left leg uncontrollably shaking. She had no idea how to deal with and teach someone she didn't know.

A few minutes later, the father came back down the stairs and popped his head through the door.

"He'll be down in a minute. You might have to be patient, he's rather shy" He laughed slightly, gaining a smile back from Zelda. "Do you want a drink or anything?" He asked.

"Can I have some water please?" Zelda asked. She had an extremely dry throat.

"Sure. I'll be back with that in a minute" And he were. He placed the glass on a coffee table that was in front of Zelda and walked back out immediately.

"Thank you" Zelda said politely.

She drank the water in little sips at a time. After a minute of more waiting, Zelda heard footsteps outside the door. These weren't the father's, as they were much smaller and soothed Zelda a little bit. She was still sipping water, trying to cleanse her dry throat before having to talk.

She heard the door slide open extremely slowly, so she instinctively looked. She choked on the water she was drinking as she saw the face that appeared. The familiar face of Link.
