"Y/N IS LEAVING!"
Revali and Link looked at you as if you were crazy. They probably didn't see as how this was a problem, but it was also confusing, seeing how you didn't have a reason to leave at the moment.
"Why? Are you leaving because of us? Are you leaving for an adventure? Is it going to be dangerous? Do you have the things you need? Why are you going without telling us? Why did Mayona have to tell us? We're you planning on doing something? What are you-"
"Link." You interrupted him, knowing that Link was being like a mom right now.
"Sorry." Link laughed with a note of nervousness.
All Revali did was stand there, no reaction anymore. You didn't really wanna be caught, but I guess you had to tell them both why you were leaving. Well... all of them.
You took a deep breath, not wanting Mayona to be mad at you for this. "I heard about this flower, a cure for any sickness ever. It blooms at the top of Mount Lanayru every five years, and I was hoping I could go get it for Mayona." You fiddled around with your fingers. Link didn't seem to have any reaction, but the two Ritos did.
"You wHAT?!" Both shouting at the same time, you told them to shush in the kindest way ever.
"But you can't go! Mommy told me that this will go away once I get older, maybe when I'm like 6!" Mayona tried to keep you from going with her excuse, but you knew that you had to get this flower. You also had to hold Link back from telling her that this sickness could kill her before she reached the age of 6.
You bent down and pressed your forehead against hers. "Mayonaaaaa, can I please leave for only a few days? When I come back, I'll be here for as long as I can!"
Mayona thought about it, then brought her gaze back to yours. "Mmmm, how long can you stay?"
You stopped for a second. How long could you stay? There wasn't a time limit as to how long you all were going to stay, but you really wanted to stay as long as you could for the little bird. You looked to Link, the gleam in your eyes basically asking for reassurance.
He sighed. "I'll ask the Princess." You stood up and hugged him, not sure how else you could thank him. You felt Link's muscles tense up. You knew how bad Link was at embrace, but he hugged back just for you.
From the corner of your eyes, you could see Revali looking at you two with a weird expression.
You looked at him with question. "Do you want a hug too Master Revali?"
That one question made the Rito tense up immediately. You could even see that some of the feathers on his cheek were getting lighter. "WHAT? NO WAY!" For some reason, Mayona and Link both started to cackle at you.
"Oh! Alright!" You smiled at the bird, which made his feathers look even lighter. His face even turned a little pink! Unless that's...
You blushed at the thought that he was blushing at you. You looked to Mayona, and avoided contact with Revali. You got the bag that was already packed, and got up.

"Well, I'll be leaving! It should take around a week for me to get there and back, so I won't be long."
"Wait."
You looked to the person that had spoken, only for it to be Revali. You blinked a few times, then tilted your head. "Yes Master Revali?"
The way you had acted and spoke made Revali feel all warm inside. Yes, he knew that he had feelings for you but would probably never have the chance to say it in front of you.
"If that journey will take you THAT long, I suggest you come with me. I can fly way faster then ANY RITO here." Revali proudly crossed his arms.
You giggled, then nodded your head. "I mean.. only if you want to come. You can stay with the champions and continue doing work with the-"
"No. I want to come with you." He spoke with a serious tone this time. Your face lit up when you heard this.
"Okay! Then is it okay if we leave now?"
"Yeah sure, only if you wear the proper clothing."
"I will!"
Behind the scenes, Link and Mayona both enjoyed the fact that their ship was sailing at a fast rate. You and Revali were both oblivious to the fact that the sassy bird had just admitted that he wanted to spend time with you.
"You have to bring food as well."
"But Master Revali, since you're the best at flying like you said, we should be able to get this done in a few hours!"
Revali tsked. "You're right, I guess. Also, just call me by my name. It's Revali to you."
You blushed. "Yes of course, Ma- uh... Revali!"
And with that, you both left from Revali's Landing. Link said that he would tell the others what happened. Mayona and Link both waved you both off. You smiled, but deep down, you wanted to stay with Mayona. She was sick, and who else was there to take care of her?
Of course, her parents, but you had the choice to stay behind as well. You could be with her right now as you make sure she's all comfy and warm. But this was something you had to do. If you want to cure her, then you would have to take risks.
As Revali flew in the night sky, you stuck to his feathers, seeking for warmth. Revali had noticed this and smirked.
"My, you're clingy aren't you?" He smirked an even bigger smirk once he saw you blush.
"Ah! Uh, I-"
"That's okay, I guess." Revali also blushed. He secretly liked this, you were very comforting to him.
"O-Only if you want! I don't want to interrupt your focus!"
Revali tsked once again. "I told you that I was okay with it. Besides, I'm the best Rito for a reason. I don't get distracted."
You nodded quickly, looking back at the view. Man, you wish you'd brought your sketchbook. With a landscape like this, you would draw what everything looked like from a Rito's view.
After a while, you reached your destination, Mount Lanayru. Up on the top, you found something glowing. A bright blue, glowing so vividly that Hateno Village could probably see it.
Revali flew straight to the flower, knowing that that was the objective. Once you got off of his back, you walked until you reached the flower in the middle. It looked exactly like a Silent Princess, except that the petals were thicker and had an aura that made everything around it glow baby blue.

"Now that I've seen the flower, I feel sort of bad." You bent on your knees and touched one of the petals lightly. Revali, still standing, looked down at you.
"And why is that?"
You looked back at the flower. "Since the flower blooms once every 5 years, what if someone needed it more than me?"
Revali thought about it, then looked at the flower again.
"I mean, I don't want to be selfish and just take it right out of other's grasp!"
"What're you talking about? You're not being selfish at all. You're doing this for someone that really needs it." Revali sat down, watching as you processed the whole thought.
"You have a point..." You cupped the flower in your hand.
You frowned. "I think I have a solution to my guilt." Hearing this, Revali looked at you with curiosity.
"And what could that possibly be?"
You took your bag off your back, getting a book about flowers.
"A book?"
"Well about this book, it shows information about the Lyashi Flower. Supposedly a rose if we were being specific. I read something that I'd never thought was a true fact about the flower."
Flashback
Lyashi Rose
The rare Lyashi Rose was first discovered around 5,400 years ago, found on the top of Mount Lanayru in a little bud. The flower had shrouded a glowing blue light that was apparently known to heal even the worst sickness in the entire land of Hyrule. The flower can be used in any type of elixir or mix. What you're looking for is to get the blue aura into the mix, then the flowers can be used for decoration or anything else, since the flower has preserved power even when you use it.
There are only two triggers for the growth of this flower. You can wait for 5 years and it will naturally grow on the top of the mountain or...
"It said that the other trigger will be if someone confesses true love right where the Lyashi Rose has grown." You blushed as you read this.
"What does this have to do with your guilt?"
"Well, I wanted to try something."
"What is that 'something'?"
"U-Um.."
You took a slow breath. "Revali, I..." You hid your face.
"I like..."
Revali widened his eyes. Was this..?
"I like Honey Crisp Apples!"
Revali raised an eyebrow.
"hehe... just kidding. I like you Revali..."
He blushed immensely. This was quite the confession.
You looked to the ground, hoping something would happen, but it didn't.
"Love."
You looked at him. "Um..."
"You have to LOVE someone for the effect to take on, if I'm not wrong."
Your face turned into a worried expression. You moved until you were inches away from his beak. "But I do love you."
All of a sudden, the same blue from the flower had shown from under the ground. Little buds had popped out of the snow, which resulted in the glowing aura to start floating in the air. You blushed when you realized that your head was on Revali's shoulder.
You were hesitant to do what you were just about to do, but you didn't care anymore. You reached up to his lower beak and quickly pecked it, then burying your head in his chest while watching the glow fade around you. Revali was probably more flustered then you were, still not sure if you kissed him or just touched his beak. Either way, he was happy. You didn't even need to know if he loved you back, you already knew.
"Oh right! I forgot.." You walked over to the flower you had first seen and picked it up from its roots. "Now I'm ready to go-"
"How about we spend a little time here?" Revali suggested. "We can still enjoy the view."
"But Revali it's 4:00am, I'm sleepy."
"No, wait. You can sleep on the way back."
"But wouldn't that result in you not getting as much sleep as me? That makes me look selfish!"
"Shut up Y/N... I can do what I want, and I want you to sleep later. PLUS, I AM THE BEST RITO, I DON'T NEED SLEEP!"
You giggled, sitting back down next to him and looking at the view.
~~~~
"You're back!" Mayona jumped in your arms. You began to worry, since Mayona had dark bags under her eyes.
"MAYONAKA! Did you stay up until I came back?!"
Mayona squeaked and hid behind Link. "Y/N is mad... LINK STAYED UP WITH MEEEEE!" Link shook his head vigorously with a grin on his face. Seems they have gotten to know each other during the time you were gone.
Revali came from behind you and held your hand. The rest of the crew came with tired looking faces. They were dreary, but excited to see you all again.
Before you could do anything, Mayona interrupted you.
"Now I'm going to ask the obvious question, you're answering truthfully." You looked at Mayona curiously.
"ARE YOU AND REVALI DATING NOW?"
You blushed immensely. Revali would've done the same, but his pride took over.
"Yes we are."
The group looked at you both with shocked faces. Zelda came up to you and pointed a finger in your face.
"I KNEW IT! WAIT UNTIL PURAH FINDS OUT!!"
You were shocked at first, but then grinned evilly.
"Oh Zel, wait until you won't be able to tell Purah this."
"Wait, what do you me... Oh no." Zelda immediately ran away, with you chasing after her. "FORGIVE ME Y/N BUT I'M TELLING HER EVEN IF MY HEAD IS SEVERED!"
"NO YOU WON'T, NOW LET ME CATCH YOU SO I CAN GIVE MAYONA HER MEDICINE!"
~~~~~
"1 Lynel gut, added, and now... The Lyashi Rose!" You brought out the beautiful flower, and everyone gasped in wonder. You caught some of the glowing speckles from the flower and shook them into the little bowl. You mixed the mixture, watching as it turned into a pool of baby blue liquid.
"It's glowing, even when it's mixed into the elixir!" Mipha pointed out, getting closer so she could examine it.
"Now, we're done! Here you go Mayona." You handed the rito the soup like elixir.
"Is it going to make me glow?"
You laughed a little. "You never know until you try!"
Mayona looked excited and got straight to drinking it. You had high hopes in this, you really want this to work.
After she drank every last drop, she was glowing with aura. Not inside of her, but it was swirling all around her. The aura sparkled as it touched her skin. It then went inside of her, making her body glow for just a second. After that, you held her hand.
"...Did it work?"
Mayona was silent for a minute, before answering honestly.
Y/N... I feel... healthy again.
