I tried so hard to get them to like me, but it never worked.
Why didn't they accept me?
You were royalty in Hyrule, along with your sister, Princess Zelda. You both have gone through troubling times. And even right now, you suffer because of Calamity Ganon's rise. But there was one difference.
One of them was loved by all, and gifted with the Goddesses power.
And one wasn't.
It was true. Princess Zelda has gotten fame, and love, and was treated like a royal should be. But for you, no one could even come to liking you.
Why? Well, everyone claims that you are worthless because of your non-existent power. And you also have no such talent. Everyone thinks that you shouldn't have been born royalty. Because you have no use in the fight against the calamity.
At the moment, you were traveling with the champions, along with your sister. You would think she's so nice for bringing you along, but in reality your father just wanted to get you out of the castle as quick as possible.
"GET THIS WORTHLESS CHILD OUT OF MY SIGHT!"
"BUT FATHER! I DON'T WANT TO TAKE THEM! THEY'RE NOT WORTH BRINGING!"
"DO WHAT I SAY ZELDA!"
Most of the arguments that the two royals had were about you. They mostly yelled at each other because they had absolutely no idea where to take you. The king would rather have you out of the castle 24/7 and Princess Zelda would rather avoid you at all times.
All you did was study about everything Hyrule held. From the tribes and the land to the divine beasts! You knew every secret, myth, fact, and story about Hyrule, but you couldn't tell anyone that.
You didn't matter to them.
Bad rumors spread around Hyrule, and soon you were known as 'the worthless child' . Things got so bad that you stopped talking. You stopped talking to anyone, and it's been like that ever since you were 7. No one had heard your beautiful voice for years.
You stayed silent as Princess Zelda spoke up. "We're here!" You looked up to see a beautiful palace-like structure with blue crystals covering the place. Of course, it was Zora's Domain. The gorgeous, most crystalline beauty you've ever laid your eyes on.
You kept a straight face as the champions all followed the Princess. You followed behind, but kept your distance. Last time you got too close to someone, they yelled at you.
You saw Zora children playing near a statue of the kind Zora Champion, Mipha. To no surprise to you, she disliked you as well. The most sweetest person to ever step foot on land hated you. You were used to it now, because you were treated harshly, even before your mother died. You waved to them, flashing a small smile. But as soon as they saw you, they ran away.
Of course, they don't like me either.
You looked away in sadness, but you kept your composure well. You hated your life so much. You wanted to flee. It wasn't like anyone would care.
I bet everyone would be happy to watch me die. They wouldn't care the slightest if I didn't have protection near me.

Princess Zelda made you wait outside as they greeted King Dorephan. This usually happened every time you all arrived in a village. She made you wait for them while they had parties and balls. She made you miss out on all of the good times.
When they were done, you were led to the inn to sleep. They then assigned beds for you all.

"Princess Mipha will rest in her own chamber, but we have 5 waterbeds. The only one left is a normal bed." The counter clerk explained. Princess Zelda was unfazed, but she looked to you.
"Y/N will take the normal bed." She smiled at the clerk, then you all settled into the inn. The champions had dinner while you walked out and into the dazzling domain. The moon glowed while the indigo sky had auras of green and purple light streaking through. It was the best view you have ever looked at. Zora's Domain was your favorite place to travel to, even though no one in Hylia's name gave a damn about you. You looked back to the happy champions. They were all talking and laughing in glee. When you made eye contact with the group, they gave you a disgusted glare. You were heartbroken.
They have to look out for me. They only do it for father. No one will ever care.
Without thinking, you left. You had walked away from them. You were going to leave if it had a burden on everyone. It won't matter. When you were far enough, you took off running. You tripped over rocks, twigs, and your own feet. You didn't care. You were leaving for the better.
You reached your destination, Lover's Pond. It was a place that you had visited when the champions were in Lurelin Village, and you adored how the moon or sun could sparkle in the lake's reflection, and how the pale flowers bloomed so delicately around the heart shaped pool.
This is the perfect place for me. I would rather die here than anywhere else.
You know you couldn't survive that long without anything to take care of yourself, but you couldn't see people suffer around you. You were the reason everyone hadn't had hope. It was like Zelda was the light. Hyrule's light. One that would destroy Calamity Ganon along with the fierce champions.
It started to rain. It was cold, and it was dark. Spots you covered with makeup all over your body started to disappear. You felt so depressed you started to harm yourself. Cuts were revealed all over your body as you laid there.
You started to cry.
It wouldn't matter much if I was in pain again...
You took your knife out. The knights had given it to you because they didn't want to use their time defending you. They just wanted you to learn yourself.
⚠️⚠️
You stared at the sharp metal object, then held your arm up. With it barely touching your skin, you slid the knife along your skin, creating a cut. The red liquid trickled down your arm and onto your hand. Then you started to create 3 other cuts along your body.
⚠️⚠️
You laid your head up on a rock, starting to cry.
I'm nothing, and I always will be.

When the champions finished their dinner, they all headed back to the inn, where the nice beds would be awaiting their arrival. They all settled in, but Mipha pointed something out.
"Somethings missing. Better yet, someone." Mipha pointed to your bed.
"What? Oh Y/N, I'm going to give you the scold of your life!" Zelda said with gritted teeth. She looked to see that all of your belongings were still there.
"They must be near. Can you all look for them?" The champions nodded their head, then walked outside to look. Princess Zelda sat down and took your things. She wanted to examine her siblings work.
She opened the F/C colored satchel, and was met with tons of books and journals. Notes scattered out of the bag, surprising Zelda. To her content, she kept on searching. She looked in the books and notes and saw that you had written everything you needed to know about Hyrule. Where every shrine was located, or facts about the goddesses. You even wrote down what the divine beasts looked like inside and outside!

But then the Princess was met with a red velvet leather book. It had the markings along it that read 'Y/N's Diary'. Zelda cocked her head to the side in confusion.
"Princess, they're not in the domain." Revali crosses his arms, practically glaring at her. Zelda shook her head. That was impossible! Where are they? Zelda started to open the diary. Hopefully that can show where she went. She was careful no to ruin the book, because it was an old gift from mother.
I guess I shall start writing in here, since I won't talk to anyone anymore. My sister- er- Princess Zelda has been very sour lately. She has been scolding everyone, mainly Link and I. I know I'm worthless, but why does she hate me that much? What is there to like about me? What is there to hate about me?
Anyways, I've recently started to keep my business to myself, and stop talking. No one really cares, not even father. It almost seems as if they have fun acting mean towards me, and that breaks my heart.
Well, that's it for this one, next entry is underway.
Princess Zelda raised an eyebrow as she turned to the next page. They were normal things, like you telling your diary about how nobody liked you or how much you would rather flee then be royal. But a few of the entries were different.
"I've found something you guys." The champions gathered around the Princess and started reading with her.
Would people ever realize that I care? Care about them?
No, not really. Today the maids spilled the leftover food all over my cheapy dress, then told me that I shouldn't be living here.
Guess that's what I get for not working hard enough.
I don't know what I would like to write anymore. Every entry so far is about the same things. Princess Zelda has started to exclude me from every party, or gathering. I feel unwanted, but why do they keep me?
I've started to lose my appetite and not take care of myself. Almost no one comes by my room a week. I bet they are disgusted by me.
I tried so hard to get them to like me.
But it never worked.
Why didn't they accept me for who I was? I'm capable of things that some aren't. I just wanted them to know that I would try my best to help. Try everything to get them to at least put me in a place where I can help, or not get in the way.
Would I ever be treated like a normal person?
Y/N? Really? They're not taking care of themself?
Back to my normal routines, I have been focused on my studies. Turns out, there is far more to Hyrule that I shall discover privately, but for now I can borrow books from the library and read.
I feel like I cannot come out of my room. Once I do, it's like everyone immediately detects my presence, and gives me the most disgusted glares.
So I've decided to harm myself. So I can feel pain physically.
"WHAT? Y/N?!" How did she not know this? They're only so young! This was the point where the Princess started tearing up.
Anyways, I have stopped my studying and I've only been staying up to think. The guards gave me a dagger because they didn't want to teach me. I can remember the exact moment that happened:
He threw the knife down on the floor, and I heard it's metal blade clash with the ground. "LEARN YOURSELF YOU WEIRDO!" One of the knights said. I instantly picked it up and turned away. I had almost cried in that moment.
But I guess I'm used to being hurt.
I'm in Lurelin Village with the champions and the Princess at the moment, and I had just visited Lover's Pond. It's one of the most beautiful places I have ever seen. Witnessing its beauty is like being offered the world. If anything, I wish that is the place I run off to.
I've decided to stop writing this. It's not like some pieces of paper will talk back to me. And who would even try to touch my things?
Exactly.
"Lovers Pond? That is so far away, we're we really eating for that long?" Urbosa asked in disbelief.
"Why would they do this?" Princess Mipha wondered. How did it some to this? Why did it come to this?
"We need to find her." The Princess instantly got up and closed the book. The champions stayed behind her as she pulled out a map of Hyrule. Her pace started quickening when she left the domain.
Your breath started slowing down, and blood was still oozing its way out of you. You started to get dizzier as everything blurred around you. Every bone in your body was still, and you felt so weak. You were dying. Guess your cuts have made you lose too much blood overtime.
"Y/N! Y/N! Wake up!" You felt someone shaking your body, while faint voices surrounded you. Feeling the cold rain against your skin, you weakly opened your eyes to see 6 familiar figures.
"Y/N, you're alive!" It was Princess Zelda and the champions. You haven't seen them so happy around you before, but I guess it was just acting skills. You didn't bother to do anything, you knew your time on Hyrule was running out.
"Y/N I was so worried. We found your notebook and read it and I thought the worst, but now I've found you and-"
That was what you heard before you saw huge colorful stars in your vision. You took a deep breath before closing your eyes. "I love you Zelda." You managed to whisper out before wincing from the pain and going limp in the Princess's arms.
"Y/N! No no no no stay with me PLEASE! Y/N..."
Princess Zelda put a hand over your heart and felt the beat stop. She tried to hold back her tears but it wasn't any use. You were dead. The goddesses had taken you away from the world. That was the end of your life.
"Y/N... please come b-back..." She cried while hugging you. She couldn't care any less when you were alive, but now that it was the end, she realized how much she hurt you.
"P-Princess-"
"Th-They're... d-dead."
As the champions and the princess brought your body back to the castle, your father sobbed as he saw that one of his children were gone. Guess he bottled up his feelings for you too, but it was too late. Everything that they could've done for you was no use.
It was over.
Zelda. I've always cared for you. I've always smiled when I saw you smiling with so much happiness, and when you were treated like you deserved to be. But I never got to have that feeling. The feeling of being loved. But know this: I will always watch over you. I wish the best for you and the champions, and I wish I could've done more for you and Hyrule.
I love you.

8 150The Sleeping Immortal
It's my first time writing, I'm going to try a mix up of LitRPG and Wuxia. God killed me while I was sleeping, and now I have the power to become a God myself just by well... sleeping. Ironic isn't it? Let's say it came as a surprise when I, Fiend Yuki, got killed by God. God, not wanting me to die as easily next time, reincarnated me with OP sleeping powers. Before this, I was just your average bum living in my parent's basement, sleeping and doing general otaku things. Now I have to worry about getting killed by Gods, kinda came full circle didn't it? Or I could just sleep and worry about it later... Yeah, I'll just sleep... Sleep sounds good. Yeah, it was until I woke up and found out I've become a toothpick and personal claw sharper of the world's strongest dragon while I was sleeping... I don't like being awake...
