《Tiny Hylian (Sidon x Link)》Toxic wtf

We had our wedding in private, but my father pressured me into doing the ceremony in public after; he doesn't know that technically we're already married. So I've been alone, all day, styled early in the morning for an evening ceremony. I can't imagine the grief Kodah and the girls gave Link. They kept trying to brush all the knots out of his tangled mess of hair whist practically dragging him away, squealing like hatchlings.
So here I am, up on one side of the altar, watching my husband walk into the room. Everybody claps and he sets something bulky down beside him, holding Zelda's arm in what is obviously a painful death grip.
Oh my goodness, Kodah wasn't kidding when she said she'd shower him in jewels. They're strung into his hair and even imbedded some into the fabric of the armour Mipha made him. He's wearing more than one set of earrings and they clink softly as he walks.
Bazz, still on duty, whispers, "Okay, everyone wants to steal your man with the way he looks right now. Hell, I might be a little gay now and I hate you for that."
I quell my laughter and stare down the aisle again.
Zelda murmurs things to Link and he sighs, glancing back at the object he left at the door. Hyrule's Queen only laughs.
Our height difference must be almost comical to watch, since everyone can see it clearly now that we're side by side: his head just barely reaches my sternum and it's adorable. Kodah catches my glance and waves with the hugest smile.
The officiant, Kapson, looks almost as excited as I feel, inhaling to prepare his long speech. "We are gathered here today to witness the unlikely binding of two souls; our lovely Prince Sidon and the Hero Link."

Link shifts a little at the mention of his name, sending a discreet glance back at that bulky object. What is it? Kapson rambles on about 'till death do ye part and other fancy things as I half-squint to try and decipher what it is.
It's made of metal. I catch Zelda's eye and she mouths, "just wait."
Kapson's voice hitches at one point, and everybody makes happy noises when he concludes his speech. I smile. I see Zelda smirk when Kapson finally says, "and you may kiss—''
Before he can finish his sentence, Link hops off the altar and stalks towards the back of the room. Everyone mumbles surprised comments but whispering becomes laughter as he grabs the object with a huff and walks back up the aisle.
Oh my Gods, it's a stepladder.
Link unfolds it in front of me and steps up so he's at more or less my height, then pulls me into the happiest kiss I've ever received in my over one hundred years of life.
This will certainly be a wedding to remember.
Everyone claps, preparing for the reception. I catch Zelda laughing her ass off in the corner.

Blood Demon's Retirement
Civil War had raged on the Al-Shan Archipelago for the past four decades, only recently coming to an end with the enthronement of the new Emperor. This is not his story. The Blood Demon, renowned general of said civil war, was tired of all the fighting and politicking that had described the last four decades of her existence. All she really wanted to do now is to go out into the world and see the many lands from her father's stories. Thus she retired, and went and did exactly what she wanted. This is the story of what happens when you toss a (retired) war machine with somewhat lacking common sense into an unsuspecting world at peace. Chapters will range from 1-2.5k words, scheduled for release every day from Monday to Friday. First time posting a story on Royal Road here, hoping you folks will enjoy. Expect: -slow going slice of life with occassional faster paced action -world building -detailed anecdotes on the world, its races, the magic system, and whatnot every now and then Do not expect: -romance, other than maybe some passing mentions -politics, again, barring passing mentions Any comments, reviews, and criticism will be much appreciated. And thank you for reading. ---------------------------- Disclaimer: This story is my original work and only posted on the Royal Road and Scribblehub websites. If you should find this story elsewhere or under another name, please let me know. Also please don't be too hard on me when I make occasional grammatical mistakes, English is my third language after all. XD Edit suggestions are very welcome though. Discord

Wolf's Oath Book 1: Oath Sworn
In Aralt ‘Wolf” syr Tremayne’s world, skyships sail above tidal extremes, crystal swords are Tuned, and the soul-touched inspire both awe and fear. The latter doesn’t phase him, he carries a Tuned blade, and as for the ships…Aralt prefers to keep his feet on solid ground. Having finally laid to rest the ghosts of his past, he is unprepared when the grave gives one of them back. To his shame, it isn’t the one he wants. Lian Kynsei’s arrival upends Aralt’s life, but there is nothing he can do about it. Oath-bound to Lian, the last of a priestly clan, he is now defender of the scion of a faith he no longer shares. But the boy Aralt once knew is gone. In his place is a reckless, traumatized teen who can light the sky on fire. The more they get reacquainted, the less Aralt likes him—and the feeling is mutual. As revenge against a common enemy boils in his blood, Aralt struggles to do his oath-sworn duty and secure sanctuary for the heir-apparent to a mystical dynasty. But instead of safety, every step brings them closer to danger: sky pirates, cannibals, and a relentless soulless scourge unleashed by their enemy are all intent on killing Lian—or worse. Death, Aralt realizes, might be the greater mercy. ---------------------------------------------------------- What to Expect: Character-driven Plot Novel Pacing (which I accept isn't typical for serials) Elaborate Worldbuilding (you gotta pay attention) Soul-bonded Swords Sentient Wolves Longish Chapters What Not to Expect: Litrpg (sorry!) Harem (not sorry!) Magic System Short Chapters Dancing Bears (at least so far) Seriously, this is a second-world low fantasy/science-fantasy featuring a strong, but flawed male protagonist, a cheeky teenage boy that’s driving him crazy, a wee bit o’ Scots flavor, and a whole lot of culture clashing. I’m preparing to relaunch this story on Kindle once the second and third books are ready and I’d love some feedback as I move through those revisions. I'm serious about the feedback. All comments are welcome. I'll name a characters after you. And kill them, if you want. :) Oh, did I mention soulless assassins and cannibals? Yeah, Aralt’s day is not getting any better. cover image by brosedesignz

Small Pond
In a world without systems, levels, or any standard power levels, Faust is a naturally skeptical person who always asks questions first and accepts after he gets confirmation. A lot of it. With some information unknown to the reader, represented as [?], Faust is left to discover who kidnapped him, where he is, if magic exists, and what to do while the reader silently observes him. And as for the YOU dear reader, I'll need your help choosing some things... Small Pond isn't meant to be a high-paced action light novel, but instead, there's a greater focus on world and character building in order to create a greater narrative. Expect the unexpected in this story ;) The release schedule will be paused, for now, I'm going to try and spend some time rethinking the intro and work on school.
