《The First Champion | BOTW Link x GN!Reader》Eldin

After staying the night at the stable's inn, you and Link take off in the direction of the next village. You set course west, around Hyrule Ridge, up around Central Hyrule, and into the base of Eldin. Your travel took the entire morning, so you decide to stop at Foothill Stable to cook some food. Link insisted that he attempt to prepare meals this time, so you were free to do whatever you want.
You walk towards the back of the stable and see a few horses kept in stalls being groomed by a young hylian lady. "Hello," she says, "how can I help you? Oh!" she smiles with delight as she looks past you to Ginger tethered up. "Is that beautiful horse over there yours?" She asks.
"Yes, he is." You say.
"Could you bring him over?"
"Sure," you say and then walk over to pull the rope free from the fence. You walk him over to the enthusiastic lady.
"Beautiful indeed. Did you catch him in the wild?" She asks.
"Yes, I did."
"Of course, I'm only interested in horses that are given plenty of love. Let me see..." She takes a closer look at Ginger's face. "Ah yes, wonderful! His eyes are full of compassion and loyalty. Okay, I can offer my services to you."
"Services?"
"I can offer to change the saddle, bridle, or mane of your horse free of charge," she smiles proudly.
You then get excited. "Could we style his mane with flowers?" You ask.
"Oh excellent choice!" she smiles with you. She grabs ready cut flowers behind the counter and begins braiding them into his hair. You offer to help and hand her the flowers she asks for.
He looks gorgeous. You then think of a cute way to prank Link.
"Can we do this horse as well?" you ask, pointing to Epona.
"Of course. What would you like to do?"
"Can we braid the mane?"
"Excellent choice!"
You then braided Epona's mane with the stable lady and added one little flower by the ear. You smile once you finish. You think Link will love it.
"Hey (Y/N)," you hear him call. You turn around and see him by the fire with two plates of food freshly made.
"Coming! Thank you, ma'am," you say to the stable lady and make your way towards Link.
He made meat pie, and you'd be lying if you said it didn't look absolutely delicious. "Wow, Link. You outdid yourself this time," you say and take a bite. "It tastes amazing!"

"Uh, you think so?" he says and rubs the back of his neck. "Thank you."
"Here, gimme the Sheikah Slate," you say after swallowing a bite. He does as you request. "Okay," you say after turning on the glowing point for Goron City, "we are still a whiles away from Goron City. It's right near Death Mountain-- not exactly a welcoming name."
"It's called Death Mountain because you die if you get too close," says a hylian traveler listening into your conversation. "It's deathly hot up there. If you're headed to Goron City, I'll sell you some fireproof elixirs. Even Goron City regulars usually take at least three elixirs with them. I'll sell you three for 150 rupees."
"We'll take one each," you say, hoping Link has enough to pay for them. He does, which is a relief. You're flat broke.
"Alright, here they are. That should be enough to get there and back. If you're looking for a longer stay, I'd recommend bringing some rupees up there and buying the fireproof armor they have for sale there," the traveler said and left you to your meal.
Ugh, that's your least favorite part: collecting items to sell for money.
"Well, I'm guessing the armor is going to be at least a thousand in total. And we can only hope that they have two for sale," you say and take another bite of the delicious meal.
"I've got two hundred more rupees on me," Link says and cleans up his space.
"Well then, we better get moving if we want to make it there by nightfall," you advise and stand up, brushing crumbs off your clothing. You grab your equipment and go to hop on Ginger. You smile at his newly braided hair and pat him on the neck soothingly.
"(Y/N)," Link laughs accusingly. You turn around and see him smiling at Epona's mane. "Did you..."
"What? No," you say purposefully with bad acting. "I have no idea how that happened."
Link chuckles and gets on Epona. Side by side, you travel towards the base of the mountain. You can feel the temperature rise steadily as you get closer and all the moisture depleting in your mouth. Link then stops his horse and begins to get off.
"We need to leave our horses here," he explains. "They can't survive the heat, and it isn't exactly the right terrain for them."
"Glad you thought of that," you say and follow Link's lead. You look up at the mountain and sigh at the sight. You were not a fan of climbing or heights.

You and Link begin climbing towards better ground.
"The tower is nearby," you point to the pillar in the distance.
"Oh, good eye. We can get that and save sometime by gliding," he suggests.
You nod and follow him to the wall of rock. He notices your hesitation and anxiety. "I'll go first. Step where I step, okay?" he says.
You nod, "okay."
'It's safe,' the goddess assures you. You take a deep breath and trust her as you grip the cliff sides and start climbing.
Link begins climbing the rocky terrain and makes sure he doesn't go too fast. You are anxious at first, but slowly, every step begins getting easier. You don't dare look down, and your motive to complete your quest drives you upward.
Not too long later, you reach the base of the tower.
That wasn't so bad. Now, you just need to climb something you've already climbed before.
Before you knew it, you made it to the top of the tower. Slowly but surely, your fear is beginning to be conquered. Link activates the tower and collects the runes on the Sheikah Slate. You stand by the edge and take in the view of all of Hyrule.
The world you live in that was plunged into disaster 100 years ago looks beautiful from up here, and nothing can change your mind. Though, everything can look beautiful from far enough away.
"You ready?" Link asks you from the opposite edge of the tower.
"Yeah," you confirm and grip your glider. On the count of three, you both jump off the tower and sail to the ground. But the smooth ride was interrupted by your heart sinking as you feel the temperature rising horribly. You quickly reach for a fireproof elixir, but you didn't reach it in time to stop your glider from catching fire.
You yell and put it away to extinguish the flames, but now you are falling to the ground with fire eating your clothing and licking your skin. You hit the ground with a painful crash and chug the elixir once you tilted your head up. The heat subsides, and the fire disappears into nothing.
You hear Link land on his feet, his clothing also burned, and panting frantically. He grips the empty bottle tightly and falls on the ground with you.
"I think..." you gasp once you catch your breath, "that gliding isn't an option."
"Heh, maybe you're right," Link attempts to chuckle but instead coughs. He straightens up and his hand jumps to his burned skin as the pain intensified. He swears under his breath and quickly turns to you. "Are you okay?"
"I will be," you say and clumsily stand on your feet.
"Here. We both need to eat something," he hands him a skewer of food and eats one himself. The energy fuels you to keep going and assures you that your pain is temporary. After eating, Link looks at the newly mapped region and traces the path with his eyes.
"Good news is the trail isn't that long. But we will need to pick up the pace to get there before our elixirs run out," Link calculates and returns the slate to his belt.
"Alright, let's get going," you say and start running with Link on the trail.
Your journey was intercepted by a few beasts equipped with the power of fire. Careful to not get burned, you both kill the foes and make it to your destination with little difficulty as possible. While you were on the trail, you broke crystal ores to collect the gems to sell.
Only a few minutes now remain on your elixir, so you need to find out this armor shop as soon as you can.
"This way," Link directs. You follow him to the direction of the armor shop and observe your surroundings as you do.
Gorons have an unusual appearance, but how can they surprise you when you've seen people resembling birds and dolphins and women nine feet tall. Goron children roll on the ground around you and you see some citizens eating a meal consisting of rocks.
You are so distracted, you nearly hit your head on the walls of the shop instead of going through the door. As the Goron shop keeper sees you two step in, he starts panicking. "What are you doing in those clothes, Goro?" he says concerned. You open your mouth to answer, but get interrupted by the Gorons shouts once more. "Hurry up and change! You're lucky we have two sets made just yesterday."
Thank the goddess of Hylia, bless the spirits above, praise the genies, there are TWO sets of fireproof armor!
They're even in genderless sizes that fit you and Link efficiently. Your luck cannot be better. "Buy from me!" you demand and scatter all the gems you collected on the way on the counter with seconds left on the elixir. You exchanged just enough for both sets. Well, both sets minus the headgear. Two pieces of armor are enough to survive.
Link put his hair up with the Gerudo Voe attire and you tie the sapphire circlet to your head that you bought from Gerudo.
Now fully decked out in heat resistant clothing, you are ready to start your quest of taking back Divine Beast Vah Rudania.

One Piece: The Elder Twin
(Previously known as Being Luffy isn't Lucky) An utterly random person comes to their senses to find out that they're being dangled by their legs, not to mention that they feel some slight vertigo. Upon realisation, they discover that they've become... ahem, I mean they share a body with the one known as Monkey D. Luffy and they also have no idea who they are themselves! The one thing they do know? They used to be an absolute loner. (EDIT: So... a few months later and I come back to this and read like a few chapters. Only to realize the absolute rubbish the story and everything has become. There was many needlessly developed things that just waste chapters and don't even develop anything. The fiction's Mary Sue was horrendously developed. I'm just repeating myself to try and convey how terrible it developed... like seriously. IF I were to update the fiction again I would be thinking of improved concepts and ways to present everything which would contradict the entire way I previously presented everything.)
