Chapter Twenty Nine
Drew’s POV
I watched her as she slept, tracing the scars on her upper body with my forefinger. There are many of them. Large and small, thick and thin. Scattered across her upper body, none on her legs or her face. Each scar is a reminder of what Blaine did, that will forever be etched upon her features.
I know who he is now, and I’m going after him. What he did is inexcusable and he needs to pay the price. Although if I go I do have to talk to ‘Dean aka Ian’ about helping me. Harmony wouldn’t let me go if ‘Dean’ or someone else wasn’t going to help and I was going all by myself. I don’t particularly want to get myself killed, I’m enjoying life.
I don’t know when I’m going after him. I’m pretty sure he has an idea that I know about what he did. He’ll most likely be on his guard from now until he leaves.
What is he even here for anyway? Leigh-Anne’s wedding evidently but how does she know him? Maybe Leigh-Anne doesn’t know him; he could be one of Finn’s friends. Which brings me to the next question, how does Finn know him?
Harmony moans in her sleep, snuggling further into the bed with a sigh of pleasure. I gaze down at her, brushing the hair from her eyes.
When I get my hands on Blaine, he’ll be begging for forgiveness. I will be unable to give it to him. It’ll be a miracle if I don’t kill him the minute I have him in my grasp. He deserves to die, and if I have to, I will kill him. I will personally drag him to jail and throw him behind bars. I’ll make sure that he never sees the light of day ever again. Most importantly I’ll make sure he never does what he did to Harmony to another girl. She wouldn’t want that.
I’m not leaving her side until Blaine and his buddies are behind bars. Not like she would do anything or go any where without me. She murmurs it over and over in her sleep, how she doesn’t want me to leave her side. I don’t think she believes I’ll always be there whether she wants me or not. Which is understandable because of all the things she’s been through. She should know that if I was going to leave her, I would’ve left her the minute she told me what happened with Blaine like any normal guy. I guess I’m not normal.

A low buzzing sound buzzes from the floor. I lift my head from the pillow, reaching down I pat along the floor to find the source of the vibration. My jeans pocket. I pull my blackberry from my pocket, pressing accept, I turn my head away from Harmony to not speak in her ear and wake her.
“Drew Edwards” I whisper.
“ANDREW EDWARDS” Sassy screeches down the phone, “WHERE DID YOU GO AND WHY DID YOU GO?”
I clench my teeth holding the phone out away from my ear. Good god that child I think to myself. She can’t know why we left the real reason behind our departure, Harmony wouldn’t want Sassy or anyone else for that matter to know.
“We decided to eat somewhere else” I sigh, “I didn’t like that Darren guy and the vibes he was sending, neither did Mony”
There’s silence on Sassy’s end for a moment, “I wasn’t the only one then who picked up on those”
I cock my head, peeking at Harmony from the corner of my eye. “What are you talking about?”
Sassy sighs, “Is something wrong Drew? I just told you that I was picking up bad vibes from him”
I shake my head, “Yea yea, I heard you I was just surprised you also felt them”
“Where are you guys then? You left in such a hurry you never told us where you were going to eat”
I suppress a chuckle. Eating isn’t exactly what Harmony and I were doing. I’m not going to tell Sassy that. I wouldn’t want my little sister scarred or worse getting ideas.
“At the hotel” I wince.
“At the hotel?” Sassy says dragging out the phrase, “Which hotel? And why is it so quiet?”
Oh crap! I didn’t think that one through very well. Sassy is going to show up at the hotel thinking Harmony and I are eating. When she doesn’t find us down there, well then we’re screwed.
“Seaside Hilton” I lie quickly, “And it’s so quiet because we’re driving to the dock”
“I see” Sassy murmurs, “Hand the phone to Har, I want to speak with her about something”
Damn. “Um sorry Sass Harmony’s asleep”

Sassy shrugs on the other end of the phone, “That’s not a problem just wake her up”
I groan into my palm rolling my eyes, “Fine, but if she kills me…..”
Sassy cuts me off with a giggle, “Harmony wouldn’t kill you, she wouldn’t kill a mouse”
I shake my head, “You don’t know what she’s like in the mornings”
Sassy sighs annoyed, “She is not going to kill you Drew, just give her the phone”
“Jesus women patience is a virtue” I grumble, “Give me a second”
“A virtue I don’t have” Sassy mutters.
I lean over the bed in the opposite direction of Harmony, “Harmony, wake up Sassy wants to talk to you”
“She won’t get up, sorry Sass”
“Well wake her up this is important” Sassy growls.
“Fine” I hiss down the phone.
I pretend to attempt to wake Harmony again. Guess I’m going to have to be Harmony.
I clear my throat, placing the phone back to my face.
“What do you want?” I hisses in a ‘Harmony’ voices.
Sassy sighs, “Finally, what took you so long to wake up? And what are you doing sleeping in the middle of the day?”
I roll my eyes. Couldn’t she have just cut to the chase?
“I was sleeping, and I didn’t want to be wakened. And I’m sleeping in the day or should I say I was sleeping because I was tired”
“Hey Harmony?” Sassy chirps, “I know your sleeping with Drew”
I cough in surprise, “What are you talking about Sassy?”
“You know what I’m talking about. I know you guys didn’t go anywhere to eat because I saw you two running down the street, I’m pretty sure the whole town saw that”
I cough again cursing my dumbness, “I’m not sleeping with Drew”
“Whatever you say” Sassy moans, “Oh and Harmony?”
“Yes Sassy?”
“CUT THE CRAP ANDREW” Sassy hollers down the phone.
Our conversation ends with a click from Sassy’s end. I sigh, tossing my phone back onto my jeans. A slight giggle fills the once silent room.
“Nice voice you’ve got going on there D” Harmony mutters.
I smile turning to face her, “Why thank you Mony”
Harmony giggles, reaching her arms over her head, yawning. “My pleasure”
“How would you like to spend the rest of the afternoon?” I ask, trailing a finger down Harmony’s arm.
“I don’t know” Harmony sighs, “We could go to a movie?”
I nod, “Works for me, what movie?”
“I really want to see Soul Surfer” Harmony says
I shrug standing from the bed, “Sounds good, get dressed then”
Harmony smiles and salutes me, hopping from the bed. I pull on my clothing, running my fingers through my hair. Harmony walks over to stand beside me smiling.
“Lets hit the road” She smiles.
I nod, heading out of the room, holding her hand.

Did that Wattpad outtage bother anyone as much as me? That was incredibly annoying!!
Alrighty so onto the first matter of buissiness. Playlist. This story needs a playlist and I have some song ideas for certain chapters. I want to hear what y'all have in mind. So message me or PM me the song the singer/band/artist and which chapter you think it fits best with.
Secondly, I've mentioned I'm making a Living With A series. I've got an idea for the third book BUT it has to do with a mythical creature. NO VAMPIRES OR WEREWOLFS in that story. But what I want to know is how would you feel if I did make a book in this series Mythical?
Song on the side is Adele's Turning Tables. I'm not really into soul music as my bestie would say or into much pop but I ADORE Adele. Her music has such a heartfelt meaning behind it. She is an AMAZING singer also.
PPLEASE CHECK OUT MY STORY DEAR COLE!! IT'S MY BABY AND I REALLY WOULD LOVE IT IF IT GOT MORE VIEWS :)

This story follows Jack Chaque-Travail, an Illusionist determined to usher in the next generation of Druids to make sure he doesn't have to watch the earth die around him. 'Come with WildWise™ and get away from the buzz of the city and towards the buzz of the sacred bee!' as quoted from their website. As years have gone by, and ozone has deteriorated, Druid training is less summoning treants and more kumbaya-ing.
