Hey guys!!
So I'm sick :/ And I missed school which wasn't awful because now I have a longer break.
Oh yes, so where I live, instead of a march break, we're having a February break which lasts for two weeks. Obviously since it's break I'll be going down to my nanny's for a visit so I wont be uploading for like 3-4 days. Sorry you guys :/ They have no internet connection down there and the closes computer is about 4 hours away. BUT I promise I'll upload a long chapter before I go. Hope you guys like it :)

Chapter Fifteen
Drew's POV
I race around the kitchen, grabbing all the ingredients for pancakes, trying to be quick so I'll have them done before Harmony wakes up.
Whatever happened last night really shook her up.
She was fine before I tackled her, but after that everything just went down hill.
I didn't tackle her to hurt her not by any means.
I thought she was making a run for it. Although that was a stupid thought on my part because she would have taken off while I was at work if she wanted to.
She looked so damn scared. The whole nightmare thing obviously didn't help her either.
I didn't get much sleep last night either. Harmony was whimpering and talking in her sleep. Well it wasn't really talking, it was more like begging. I didn't catch any of it because she had her head buried in my chest which made it hard for me to hear her.
I do know that that nightmare she had, has to do with something that happened to her. Nobody cries that hard over a nightmare, nor do they ever look as scared as Harmony did.
When Sasha was in her nightmare stages, she never looked as scared as Harmony did. Nor did she beg and move as much as Harmony did. It was like she was being pinned down and she was trying her hardest to get away.
Whatever the nightmare was about, it has to be something that happened to Harmony. Not some scene her mind made up.
Hopefully, she'll tell me. I don't know what I'll do if these nightmares keep up. She had me worried all night.
I pour the pancake mix into a frying pan and lean against the counter, waiting for it to cook so I can flip it.
I hope these turn out. I'm making them for Harmony as breakfast in bed. I don't think she'll be in great shape today and breakfast in bed always made Adelaide feel better.
I scoff at the thought of her and shove all the memories of her out of my head.
What was I thinking when I met her? You know what? I wasn't thinking. I wish I'd never met her, that's all there is too it.
I don't regret the choice I made, I doubt I ever will. It was for the best.
I flip the pancake and start on the coffee, munching on the bacon sizzling in the other pan.

Harmony seems to really like her bacon, which is why I'm making it as a side dish for the pancakes.
I finish frying the pancakes and I sit them on the tray. On my way out of the kitchen, I place the freshly brewed coffee on the tray.
I open my bedroom door slowly and find Harmony sprawled over the bed, with her dark hair splayed out on the pillow.
I sit her breakfast on the nightstand.
I'll just get dressed and ready for work before I wake her up.
I pull out my uniform from the closet and lay it on the toilet. I hop into the shower and do my daily routine, then I hop out, wrapping a towel around my hips.
I brush my teeth with one hand and shuffle through the bottom drawer for my hair gel.
I smile when I find it and squirt the blue gel onto my hand. I run the gel through my hair, fashioning it into a foe hawk.
When that's done, I yank on my uniform. I head into the bedroom and fish through my dresser, pulling out my gun and sliding it into my pocket.
I glance over at the bed to find Harmony with a pillow over her face and her hand reaching over to grab some bacon.
"Its all clear Mony" I chuckle.
Harmony hauls the pillow off her head and chucks it onto my side and shoves three slices of bacon into her mouth.
"I thought you'd come out of the bathroom with a towel only" She says around a mouthful of bacon.
"I wouldn't do that to you" I say, faking being shocked by throwing a hand over my heart.
"Oh yes you would" Harmony glares at me playfully.
"You're right, I would, now I want a piece of bacon"
I reach for a slice of bacon, but Harmony smacks my hand away.
"No touchy my bacon" She warns, pointing her finger at me.
I roll my eyes, "Hey Mony is that a spider?" I ask, pointing towards the other side of the room.
It's Harmony's turn to roll her eyes now. She leans down and snatches my flip flop from the floor.
"Since your not going to kill it" She sighs and bends down on the side of the bed where I pointed.
I smile in triumph and turn to the bacon, my hand itching towards it when my flip flop comes flying at my head.
I duck down before the shoe can hit me and wait patiently for Harmony to throw the other one. Again I'm proved wrong when she whacks me upside the head with the other shoe.
"Foul play there Officer Edwards" Harmony pulls the tray into her lap and swallows all the bacon.
"Shoe hitting is against the rules" I tell her, snatching a pancake she hasn't touched.
"I'd like to see this rule book then" Harmony smirks.
"You've already seen it. Actually, you used it as a beating weapon" I point out.

Realisation flashes in her eyes, "Oh my god, the book from your office"
I laugh and nod my head.
"You abused the right to own that book Mister when you threw it at me"
"If I do recall, I believe you also beat me with the same book" I rub my chin, pretending to be thinking.
Harmony rolls her eyes and looks at the clock.
"Fudge muffins" She cries, flinging the tray at my head and jumping out of bed.
"What? What is it?" I ask, jumping up with my hand resting on my hip where my gun is pinned.
"I have work in an hour" She calls running down the hall to her room.
Work? Harmony got a job? Good for her!
"I've got to go Mony, see you" I call over the shower.
I bend down to say a quick hello to Echo before leaving for work.
Harmony's POV
"Great, I don't have anything black besides my converse" I say to the empty room.
I was going to go out last night after dinner, but after the whole incident outside I totally forgot.
I pull on my short shorts, my cupcake shirt underneath the shirt Halley gave me yesterday and my beat up black converse.
I run down the hall of the apartment and grab the 40 dollars Drew left me on the sideboard.
I lock the apartment door behind me and run all the way to the closets target. I buy a cheep pair of black dress pants and a black shirt, then change into them in the changing room.
I pay for them quickly and when I'm done, I run all the way to work without breaking a sweat. I don't normally sweat that much anymore unless I'm running a great distance.
I arrive at the movie theatre seconds before work starts. Halley is waiting for me by the concession stand, holding a silver name tag in her hand.
"Hey Harmony, ready for your first day?" Halley asks, clipping the tag just above my boob.
"As ready as I'll ever be"
Halley laughs and leads me over to the cash register.
"So for today your going to work the cash and I'll be standing by you the whole time, teaching you basically how to work it" Halley tells me.
I nod my head, pulling on the god awful hat. "Lets get this show on the road"
~
"Urggg, that was awful" I plonk down on the coach, propping my feet on the footstool.
"Well its work, work isn't supposed to be fun" Halley says, falling down into the chair beside the coach.
After work, I invited Halley over. She's really nice and she happens to be my age. She's cool to hang out with also.
"Well Hill Billy could've cut me some slack, it was my first day on the job and what does he do? Harmony get your ass moving you lazy coach potato, we don't have all day, those costumers want their popcorn before their movie ends" I mock him, using his hill Billy southern accent.
Halley giggles, "His name is Bucky Tooth, not Hill Billy"
I look at her with my eyebrows raised, "Bucky Tooth? Are you kidding me?"
Halley giggles again and shakes her head.
I burst out laughing, doubling over to clutch my aching stomach.
"B-Buc-cky T-Tooth, that's too funny"
The front door bangs open and the clanging off keys signifies Drew's home.
"Wow is it 6:30 already?" I mumble.
Halley cocks her head and mouths, "Who's that?"
"Drew" I mouth back.
Just then, Drew struts into the kitchen, obviously getting out his Dr. Pepper from the fridge.
It's his routine. He walks in the door, kicks off his shoes, heads to the kitchen for his Dr. Pepper, says hello to me, and then plonks his butt on empty chair and flicks on NHL on the fly.
"Hey Mony Peaches" Drew greets, plonking down beside me.
I clear my throat and nod my head towards Halley, whose jaw has dropped open.
Drew cocks his head and raises his eyebrows. His look for 'What?'
"Say hello to the guest" I mouth.
Drew's eyes widen with realisation and he nods his head.
"Hey sorry I didn't see you there, I'm Drew Edwards and you are?" Drew holds out his hand to Halley.
"Halley Jane, and its okay" Halley manages to say, clutching Drew's hand and staring at him like he's a god.
Drew laughs awkwardly and slyly pulls his hand out of her death grip.
"Yea well I'm going now" Halley declares, hoping up from her seat and booking it down the hall.
"I'll see you tomorrow Harmony" She shouts before the door slams shut.
"Wow" I breathe.
Drew chuckles, "Happens every time"
I roll my eyes, "A little cocky are we?"
Drew flicks his hair out of his eyes, "You know it Peaches"
I playful swat his arm and turn back to the movie.
Push it to the limit
Walk along the edge
But don't look down, just keep you head
And you'll be finished
I snap my head up to look around the room.
What the heck is that?
Drew springs up from the coach and grabs the phone off the dock, putting it to his ear.
Guess I know what that was.
"Hello?"
"Hey Sassy what's up?
Drew nods his head and makes mhhmm's and ahh's.
"Alright, we'll be there, yup, love you to, bye" Drew hangs up and looks at me.
"Ready for a road trip?" He asks.

The Sea of Destiny
[Let me be straight with you. This is trash, like old dime store novel trash. Don't expect grandiose writing, anything profound, or much beyond being free of spelling errors. Like my profile says, it’s hopefully like a salty snack, decent and satisfying for people looking for this kind of thing (at least that's my hope). It is simple, weird, and most likely growing in ridiculousness as it rapidly escalates.] Michael just wants to get away after a rough breakup. He figures some time alone cruising on a sick jet ski will help clear his head. After a small series of mishaps he winds up as humanities last hope adrift at sea after nuclear devastation destroys the mainland. Will he be able to solve the mystery of the bowl of the ancients before nuclear winter freezes over his dwindling food supply? Who are these mysterious women he keeps meeting, and will he even care about the talents they bring to the table, or will he be too focused on how they keep ruining his carefully laid plans for survival at sea? Read this cheesy short story to see for yourself, and discover the true mystery behind the hand of fate.

The Apocalypse Show - Dungeon Core
There were lot's of ways that people had predicted that the world would end. A few even had it partially correct. But how could they have predicted it would be a combination of the system apocalypse and aliens. Specifially aliens that wanted to create the equivlant of a TV show about the system apocalypse on Earth. Arthur woke up with a headache and the option to create a character. Most people would have gone with the safe choice and selected to stay a human. Arthur suspected that wouldn't be the safe choice in his new world. Instead he decided to see what other races were available. Eventually he decided to become a dungeon core instead. Of course being a dungeon core comes with a number of challenges. Starting with the fact that he was a giant crystal instead of having a body, managing a bunch of unintelligent minons, and most importantly the reaction of his human neighbors when they discover him. If he can overcome these challenges he may be able to enjoy some of the benefits. Such as the fact that dungeon cores are immortal and he would eventually have an entire army of dungeon minions that would obey any of his commands. Perhaps even find some female companions that are looking for a safe place during the apocalypse. Warning: If this fiction was a movie I'd rate it R for occasional scenes of violence, gore, nudity, and sexual content. This isn't something you would find in the young adult section. This does not mean that this would be rated NC-17 or X, if that is what you are looking for try lewd dungeon.
