Chapter Five
Harmony's POV
"Buzaroo?"
"Yes Peaches?"
"Do you have one of those beating sticks?" I ask as we get closer to the boardwalk.
"Um yea, why?" He looks confused.
"It um, might be useful, can I see it"
I stop a few feet away from the boardwalk, where some heavy rap beats are coming from.
Oh my, what is Kayla doing?
"Yea sure, as long as you don't hurt yourself with it, you look like someone who'd be able to do that" He says, handing me the stick.
"Ha-Ha" I snatch it out of his hand, and hold it like a baseball bat as I approach my 'home'.
"I should warn you, Kayla hasn't had her fix so just don't be ahh freaked out by anything she might be doing" I tell him, waiting for his response.
"Ok"
I walk under the boardwalk, the beats growing louder. When we finally get close enough, I throw a hand over my mouth to stop myself from laughing and my other hand over Drew's eyes.
Yea, I know he's a guy, but I'm sparing him from being permanently scarred.
Kayla is only in her undies and her bra, dancing and prancing around a fire to some rap song with heavy beats. Her hair is in a bun at the top of her head and her belt is on her head, serving as a headband. She's also holding a stick, pretending it's a microphone as she belts out the lyrics to the rap song.
Well this is new. I don't think she's ever done this when she's been without drugs for sometime.

I glance around my 'home' looking for my things. I spot them in the section where I sleep, but it looks like someone tore through them. Kayla probably, looking for food or for drugs I might've hidden among my things.
I don't even know why she'd look; I haven't touched a drug in my life. Surprising eh? Me being a drug lord's daughter you'd think I'd at least touched one.
I put my finger against my lips, signalling Drew to be quiet. Then I point towards my things and make a person walking with my fingers to show him that I'm going to sneak over their and get them. He nods his head and I tiptoe off.
I sneak around the pillars, trying to avoid being caught by Kayla. I arrive at my 'bedroom' and slowly grab my things. Just as I'm about to take off running, Kayla turns around and see's me.
Crap.
"Harmony, you're back finally" Kayla yells, making weird motions with her hands.
"I am" I say, mocking her by doing the freaky hand motion thing.
"I missed you so much"
Kayla comes running over and pulls me into a hug.
I suddenly have the urge to gag. What on earth did Kayla do? She smells like freaking fried fish.
"Kayla, why do you smell weird?"
"I was smoking seaweed last night when you didn't come back with my drugs" She says, glaring at me.
Seaweed? The stupid whore was smoking seaweed? Oh my gosh I've never realised how stupid Kayla really is. I'm so glad I'm getting away from her.
"Sorry but I was caught up"
And that's when it all starts. Kayla removes the belt from her head, and starts whipping me with it. I cry out and begin smacking her with my beating stick. She grabs the stick out of my hand, and whacks me upside the head with it. I fall to the ground in a heap, my head spinning.

Now would be a good time to intervene Drew. I think to myself.
When Kayla starts kicking me and whipping me harder, I come to a decision that Drew has had enough time to help.
"DREW" I holler.
Drew comes running out from his hiding place, holding up his gun.
"Stop right now" He orders in his cop voice, sounding scary.
Kayla doesn't stop; she continues to beat me like she never heard him. Which she probably didn't. Drew, fed up, sends off a few warning shots. Nothing happens. Kayla continues to beat me.
My head finally stops spinning, and I'm ready to fight back. I kick up my lower body, pulling myself up from the sand. A move I learned from one of Jackie Chan's movies. I throw a punch at Kayla's face and as she's tumbling to the ground, I snatch the stick out of her hand. I then whack her upside the head with enough force to knock her out.
"Drew, come handcuff her" I cry, straddling Kayla making sure that if she does wake up that she won't be going anywhere.
"Alright"
He straps a pair of handcuffs around her wrists and drags her over to the pillar, placing her in a sitting position. I grab the blanket that I use to keep myself warm at night, and throw it over her so that her body is covered. Nobody wants to see that.
"Good work" I say, fist pounding Drew.
"You too"
"Can we change now?" He asks.
"Yea"

Sorry for the wait, but here's chapter 5. Uploads might slow down here shortly because I'm going to be uploading another story of mine and this is the last chapter I have pre-written.
I should probably mention that the songs on the side never have anything to do with the chapter, unless I say they do, there mostly the songs stuck in my head. Today the song is the one stuck in my head and it kinda fits in with the story, you know Smooth CRIMINAL? Yea that's why.
The last time I checked, my story had at lest 153 reads!! Yay!
Sorry for the babbling today, I promise that wont happen often ;)
If you read the authours notes, put *Annie* at the end of you comment.

Wizards of the Otherworldly Court: Alicia
"Why are my hands getting warmer?" As far as Alicia was concerned, she was the daughter of a rich businessman attending high school. Then, she feels off and at the same time, she's not. One week later, her best friend brought her to another world(s). This is Alicia Bell's tale. 1st book written in the Wizards of the Otherworldly series. Wizards of the Otherworldly Court is a fantasy story about the Otherworldly Court, an inter-dimensional (or world-hopping, you get the idea) organization made up of people of all ages, gender, and race from many parallel or different worlds. They are granted elemental-like magic powers and called themselves 'Court Wizards'. They are tasked to watch over the many worlds they come across and step into these worlds on 'missions' to preserve the balance, life, order, anything to make said worlds better places in the shadows but may reveal themselves if necessary. However, these missions may partially or even fully oppose their nature, personal interests, and ideals. Yet, most of the Court Wizards are aware and willing to complete even the worst missions that would shatter their true selves that they will never cast aside regardless, either growing or regressing because of it. Basically, it's isekai to multiple worlds but each book after Wizards of the Otherworldly Court: Alicia focuses primarily on one world while also discussing its lore in detail. Book Alicia is the introduction containing the essential worldbuilding of the Otherworldly Court universe you need to know while shoving in as many characters and worlds as I can. Also, each book will have a different main character, sometimes more than one in a single book, like Jojo. Crossposted with Wattpad, WordPress, Sufficient Velocity, and Rainobu.
