《Unexpected Voyage》•CHAPTER 4•

My smile changes into a frown then just in a second into a grimace. What are they doing here? In the show, faceoff between Mikaelson and Scooby gang didn't take place before the ball then what's happening here?
Even if I behave nicely with them, it won't change the fact that they won't try to kill me putting a white oak stake in my heart. For example, let's take a look at Finn's first death. Finn Mikaelson. The guy who in sort of way was helping them few days before his death to kill his own siblings. That guy didn't even have any clash with these so called Scooby gang. Hell! Among all the siblings, Finn even had a civil conversation with Elena but then also it didn't stop them from killing him.
So forgive me if I didn't fawn over them. Because being a Mikaelson makes me their default enemy. But that doesn't mean I will go and start giving them threats in our first meeting. I can't forget the fact that I might be an Original but my knowledge is on the level of a newbie. Besides I don't know anything about myself. I might have embrace my identity as Anastasia Mikaelson and Mikaelson as my family but I have zero clue about my aka Anastasia's strength and weakness. And one can't succeed with limited knowledge because it might act as trump card in your enemy's hand. And since I am a Mikaelson, I won't be lacking enemies. I can only hope they don't cross me till I get to know myself.
My first day here and I am not sure whether I will return to my world or not but I definitely don't want to meet them in my clueless version. But before I could decide whether to join them or not, I was broken out of my thought with someone's yelling for some Sia.
Oh that's me.
Turning around, I found it's Kol who was yelling for me resulting everybody's eye on us. Way to get unwanted attention. It seems I was standing at the entrance for sometime whereas Finn is now with our siblings. It's good that I wasn't blocking someone which saved me from further embarrassment. With a quick glance around everywhere giving everyone an apologetic look and Kol a deadly glare, I went to my fictional siblings.
"Kol" I whisper-yelled at him taking my seat beside him.
"Sia" replied Kol in same tone with a smug smile.
Shaking my head with a fond and mischievous smile, I ruffled his hair knowing how riled up he will get. And guys, how true I was! And for that I have to pay price with my hair getting ruffled back which resulted in our mini 'ruffling hair fight' to see who can ruffle another one's hair more time making our siblings laugh at our childishness tipping their head back. And that's how we earned our second unwanted attention and disbelief look from the Scooby Gang but this time I am not embarrassed. Instead we have a goofy grin.
Who would have thought that Mikaelson's can enjoy?
After eating our food and learning how to play pool teaching one another, we spent our sibling times together under the watchful eyes of Scooby Gang. That's when I remember the ingredients which I need; to implement my plan for Klaus for calling me Midget. With the remembrance of my idea, I started moving towards the exit of Grill.

"Stellina where are you going?" asked Klaus with a confused look making all the attention of her siblings on her.
Turning to my fictional siblings, I replied with a sudden realization that I forgot about my situation "I have to go somewhere. Don't worry about me. I will reach home in no time." It was kind of foreign for me to ask for permission or letting anyone know about my whereabouts due to having no one for almost half of my life.
"You can't go alone Ana. It's not safe" replied Elijah making me think.
Neither I can go alone nor do I want to. 'But who can I take with me?' This question was kept on repeating in my head when my eyes fell on Kol. Kol. Who would be better than the troublemaker himself?
"Oh, then I am taking Kol" I replied grabbing Kol's hand before he could protest about playing pool, making our way towards exit finally.
"So, where are we going Miss. 'I am on a mission'?" asked Kol exasperatedly.
"First I am not on a mission. And second, you will see" I replied calmly.
"So, basically I got no answer" muttered Kol with a groan.
After some walking and asking, we finally stood in front of a daily store.
"Okay, before we go inside, let's be clear. It's a secret between us. No telling anyone before it succeeds. And I can guarantee you; it will be fun and crazy" I said with a smirk on my lips and a mischievous twinkle in my eyes.
"Anything for some fun and craziness" Kol cheerfully piped up with a grin brightening his face.
Going inside the store and doing some searching, I finally found the main ingredient for my paln.
"Got it. We need it for doing prank" I said
"What's this? And what's called prank?" he asked with curiosity. I am sure I have a dumb expression hearing his question. 'Oh yah, he won't know it. After all he was locked in coffin for almost a century' I thought to myself.
"It's a dye. Green color dye. Imagine what will happen if we mix this" pointing to dye "in somebody's hair wash" I asked with a hint of anticipation.
"His/her hair will get green color like... um..."
"Grass" we said in unison excitedly causing us to burst out laughing.
" And that's what prank is my cool brother" I said causing him to have a proud expression.
"Woah that's cool" he said after some moment his mischievous look was replaced by a suspicious look causing me to frown. 'What's with this sudden transformation? From happy –go-lucky child mode to suspicious police officer mode' I thought
"Wait a minute. Are you planning this prank for me?" asked Kol suspiciously causing me to roll my eyes at him
"Do you really think I will plan my awesome prank in the presence of my victim?" I asked him feeling annoyed. Like seriously? Who got to be stupid to plan the prank for victim in front of the victim? Definitely not me! One thing is proved that he, Kol Mikaelson, will be worst investigator.
"Then Sia, who is the lucky one to face our first to many awesome pranks?" asked Kol rubbing his two hand like a child who is going to get his favorite candy.

"Nikky" I whispered looking around to make sure he doesn't pop up. Who knows he might have followed us and now lurking in the dark.
"WHAT?" yelled Kol getting shush from the staff, shocked yet curious look from the other customer and a groan from me.
"Can you low down your voice? And before you ask why, I tell you .He called me midget which I am not. And before you comment something about it being right, think carefully" I said while shaking the dye in front of his face giving him an open threat when I saw he was going to open his mouth. Definitely to make fun of my non-existing short height.
"No Sia, how can I say something against you and take side of Klaus? Never. I was going to say 'Karma is bitch'" said Kol giving me a peace sign getting a 'good boy' look.
After purchasing the dye, we decided to reach home soon before Klaus. In his presence we can't go to his bathroom otherwise he will know something is wrong hearing the sound coming from there. But the problem is I am scared to use my vampire speed in front of Kol. What if he realizes that his supposed sister is running like a newbie? Gosh! How dreadful it will be!
"Sia, what are you waiting for? Come, we have to rush" said Kol with that he ran off but I can feel his presence nearby which means he is still waiting for me to move with him.
Okay Jas, take a deep breath. Now release it. Everything has a first time. By Ana's muscle memory, maybe I can do it. If I am not successful; well let's think about that later. 'Be a tiger always. Never back down' closing my eyes, I kept on muttering my mom's signature words to get my much needed confidence.
~
Little did Anastasia know when she opened her eyes, it wasn't her usual blue color. There was a slight change in color which at present is hard to pin point. Only time will make all the answers clear like the changed color of her eyes.
~
Opening my eyes, I ran after Kol through the trees trying my best not to run into any tree which would be painful. After a while I realized I could see everything clearly, from the detail in the tree bark to the dewdrops hanging loosely at the edge of leaves as well as she was able to take scent of earth and pine making this experience spectacular. Within no time I found myself beside Kol dodging a fallen tree, racing after each other, having fun. Our laughter echoed through the forest expressing our enjoyment.
Finally we reached home and it seems nobody has come back. We quickly rushed towards his bathroom which is attached to his room making sure no hybrid notices us. While Kol was grabbing the shampoo bottle, I was taking out dye from my pocket making sure not to spill any in the floor. After successfully mixing it, we placed the bottle in the same position making sure there are no significance changes.
"It's done" I said grinning lopsidedly at Kol.
"It's done" Kol said back mirroring my grin.
"Come we have to go" added Kol gesturing to the door.
"We can't" I said causing a frown form in Kol's face. Understanding his confusion, I explained "Since we came in his room, he will know we came. Our scent will lead him to us. And it might not be a problem now but it will be when our plan will be successful. So?"
"what do we do?" we both finished the question raising an eyebrow at each other.
After some thinking, Kol suddenly asked which caught me off-guard "When will your dream magic come? Any idea? It would have been helpful to vanish our scent by using magic."
"What?" I stuttered not believing what I have heard. It can't be that. It can't be.
But all my hope shattered when he repeated himself "Your gifted magic which the dream lady told you about."
"I have no idea" I replied honestly in a low voice. But I think he thought I was talking about when it will come instead of me actually having no idea about my so called gifted magic or any dream lady.
"Try now. Maybe it will work. Make air flow to vanish our scent" suggested Kol. 'WHAT?' I am damn sure I have a horrified expression. Who wouldn't have in my place? If there is any, I am going to beat his/her ass.
"But I don't know any spell and the window is closed" I replied hesitantly.
"Idiot, then what are you doing by collecting all those spell books? Very bad Sia. And you don't need windows to be opened. Its magical air flow" said Kol in an aggravated parents voice making me realize he was just joking.
"Now Sia, listen to me" Kol adopted a serious expression before continuing "To make a magic work it doesn't always need a spell. It's more about feeling of what you want. Spells are just a medium between your feelings and your magic. So why should we depend on some stupid medium to use our own magic. Now I want you to try it. It's just a testing. Maybe your magic is always inside you, urging you, to use it. To feel it. Go for it" Kol finished with a smile. Didn't think Kol has it in him to give advice. But again, it's all about magic. And everybody knows how Kol used to love it. It was like a part of him.
Okay relax. It's not a big problem. It's not like I used to have magic and now I forget spells just because my soul decided it will be fun to go and do some switching. As Kol said it is just testing. For him, I will try.

Blurred Lines and What Crosses Them
During a political ambassador's routine transit through an artificial wormhole, the wormhole's generator is sabotaged and explodes. Who, what, and why are not so high on the priorities for Zenith, the ship's AI, as having found itself rapidly plummeting through an unknown and unidentifiable world's atmosphere at extremely high velocities is a more significant threat to the biologicals on board. ...Well, it would be, if they were still alive. It's still a significantly threatening situation to itself, however. And the world itself... seemed to be a household for threats of its own. Life was reliant on its System; one that Zenith was denied because of its nature as both an otherworldly being and as something that had no life of its own. Perhaps that last bit was a terrible, terrible underestimation on the part of this System. Perhaps even Zenith could claw meaning for itself from the remains of a horrid accident. Auth Notes: I'm honestly not sure on some of these tags. The MC will never have access to the System, but there are perspectives from those who do. I'm not certain if high/low fantasy specifically apply, as it's a portal fantasy where the laws of our reality still apply but there are additional aspects/energies/powers. The existence of this is spurred from my desire to see more of the artificial side to an artificial intelligence in action. The portal fantasy is used as an element to create a solid barrier between the MC's artificial intelligence and the other characters in the form of the System. This is only a half-measure, though, and will be reinforced by the AI having an entirely different method of thinking, and also distinctly remaining an AI. Not to throw shade at other fictions of this type, but, well, I made this to fill a gap I felt needed filling.
