《Is It Wrong To Not Give A Damn In The Dungeon》The Deep Floors III

A giant, man-eating, monster that not even Ottar could beat.
The same monster that I now have to take on without any magic, skills, and abilities. essentially, all I got is my pure physical strength.
No use whining or wasting time.
Balor can suck it.
I blitzed straight toward that massive junk. As I was propelled through the air, I raised my left leg, and with little time to spare, I pulled it back and shot it forward with monstrous effort.
A blast of air shot toward the massive beast. Pebbles of all sizes are being carried through that air as well.
Balor, however, well, it just dodged it. Not without losing some parts of its lower ribs though.
Considering that kicks and punches are only good for attaching at a singular direction, it's best to fight in condensed areas where I can force the little shit to east. my kicks head-on.
I let out a sigh after that thought.
I say little, but this monster is almost as big as the BBC's you see in 'films'.
Of curse, while I'm standing still while thinking these bs thoughts, Balor is circling me, read to throw hands.
So what do I decide to do?
Wait.
Hit me bitch.
~Banggg~
I'm thrown across the room with pain searing through my lower body, which received the greatest impact.
I immediately hold onto my knees. I may be 'strong' but it's not like that makes the pain go away. At least completely.
I shut my eyes for a second only for them to open right when Balor gets in my face.
Using its distorted ligaments as a weapon, it aims for my legs. Does it know that they are my most injured body part at the moment?
"RAHHHHHHHHHHH"
Yells the big beast as I kick it in its 'little beast' if you know what I mean.

Course Balor isn't a male so it doesn't receive 'that' pain. It did however experience a direct hit from my foot into its body.
As the monster kicked back, I use my still weakened legs to jump onto its massive legs. In which I then run straight up to its chest which holding on to the crevices ingrained in its body. Pulling back my arm, I push it straight down, almost as if my arm was a slingshot.
Before contact is made, I open my fingers and push them down into the monster's body.
Just like that, I scrape out a chunk of its body. Wasting no time, I use both sets of hands and scrape away at the same stop before the level 7 monster can respond. My level 91 (9) speed is unparalleled. The speed of sound is nothing against my own lighting fast attacks.
After a solid few seconds of scarping, I had reached into Balor's body and into its magic stone. One swipe with my fingers crushed it.
No drop items, no rewards, nothing.
Only a few rank-ups.
Yeah, why the hell not.
I'm a champion of combat now? Really? You would think that I would have to go through some more shit to become a champion of combat.
Apparently not.
For me at least.
A toothy grin crept up on my face as I relished the fact that I had shat on the struggles that every top-tier Adventurer in this city had to face.
If I die now, oh well. I lived a short life of luxury.
Though I did stay single.
No matter.
Staying single is staying happy.
"Achoo."
"You ok there?"
Ruona the maid had responded in concern to her fellow colleague, the green-haired elf.
"No, I'm fine. let's just finish this work before Mama becomes enraged once again."

Having advanced through the 49th Floor, I had now entered the den of dragons.
And STILL, my skills and abilities still haven't returned.
It seems I'll have to go crazy once again.
I suppose taking a 3-day nap on Floor 57 wasn't wise. Now I can hear Loki Familia's steps right above me. They must be catching up, and quick.
After rushing through the 58th floor, I arrived at the 59th. There I was met with the sight of two entities.
I know that one of them has to be the demi spirit. But what of the other?
They noticed me instantly.
Damn.
I still don't have my abilities. I can still probably take out the spirit but it'll have to be quick enough and quiet enough for Loki Familia to hear. Though if I do kill it, Bete and those guys probably don't level up.
Eh, fuck them.
Selfish is my twentieth middle name.
"ROOOOAHHHR"
I hear a stupidly loud noise as I stare at these two creatures. The now who isn't the demi spirit lets out a beam of light. No chant, nothing.
I dodge in the hopes that the beam doesn't hit my vitals.
Fortunately, it doesn't. The attack misses my vitals and destroys the entire room behind me.
What the fuck was that???
A level 8 attack at least. Loki Familia didn't fight this shit on the 59th Floor. If they had, they would have been dead the moment they entered.
Being lost in thought. I forget to look at my left side.
That limb of mine. What was it called? An arm?
Well, it's gone now.
I move my eyes to stare at it while the rest of my body faces that monster.
Sigh
How many times do I have to tell these people?
Don't get me pissed off.
In just one step, I nearly teleport to the right side of the monster that shot the beam. In that same instant, its entire chest was erased.
My reaming hand bloody, I walk away. The remaining demi spirit being left to look in wonder as I do.

The Last Marshal
Weird West Fantasy Noir Once the Republic Marshals brought order to the chaotic lands along the Frontier, facing dangers both human and supernatural with ancient wisdom and a six-gun —but that was a long time ago. Destroyed by conspiracy and betrayal, all that remains of that secretive order is one nameless man on a trek though the West seeking revenge on the woman he blames for the Marshals' fall and his disgrace. When a visitor from our world joins him on his journey, they together must confront the horrors of a strange land, the mysteries of the past and the real meaning of their quest for justice. The world of Tellus is what 19th Century Earth would have looked like if the stories of Poe, Ambrose Bierce, Lovecraft and William Hope Hodgeson were real. History in this world moves slower. The old faiths persist and civilization never conquered the dark corners of the map, at least not without being inextricably changed. Technology and culture takes a little longer to evolve in this land, as people here tend to spend more time pursuing their elaborate revenge plots or trying to avoid being the next sacrifice to the Outer Gods rather than advancing science or statecraft. Imagine Cormac McCarthy by way of Edgar Rice Burroughs, though a little less testosterone-drenched than that description would imply. Three caveats: First, there are deep mysteries here, including how such a world came to be and who controls it. Second, this world is not wholly unconnected from our own. There is a historical point of divergence, but in the distant past. To paraphrase Twain: history in this world is not a repeat of our own, but it does often rhyme. And finally, this is not a setting that lends itself to happy endings.

The Exodus Project
This is the original version of Origin before I rewrote it. It's much more simpler, some names and personalities are a little different. THere's nowhere near as much back story or character development/interaction. But the story is essentially at the end of book one. I wrote this 15 odd years ago, and with a bit of polish it doesn't look too bad. The story like Origin is about a group of college students who find a ship that is the last remnant of an ancient human space faring civilisation, they fix her up and go back into space. Along they way they'll meet alot of aliens, religious fundamentalists and conmen.
