《The Godfather {Being Edited}》¤Chapter Twenty-Six¤

Euphoria walked into the estate with Salvatore in her arms. She supported his head with her one and the other supported his bottom. His soft breath tickling the crook of her neck as she carefully made her way upstairs. Once in his room she laid him down in bed and removed his clothes and left him in his underwear. Once tucked in she removed his thumb from his mouth and gave him a kiss on cheek.
When she stepped out his room Demetrius was making his way towards her. "Mi amore." He said in greeting before pulling her into him. His lips pressed against hers. The warmth of his lips and his embrace had Euphoria relaxing instantly. Her hands slithered their way to his hair. His teeth grazed her lips hands slid from her waist to her ašs. The kiss went from sweet and passionate to hungry and urgent. A needy moan escaped her lips as he presses flushed against his body and squeezed her ašs.
"Can you two not do it in front of my nephews room? He doesn't need to hear and then see any of that."
Euphoria scowled as she looked back to see Benedetto. "Couldn't get some now you're trying to ruin mine?" Her brow arched.
Benedetto laughed at this. "I was actually coming to get you both. The things from the bomb have arrived."
"When did you get here Benny?" Euphoria asked him as he began to lead the way.
"Early morning of the day the bomb went off." Demetrius answered this time.
"Do you have any leads as to who it may be?"
"We have no leads. This isn't any enemy or threat that we're familiar with. We check with all the rivals type of M.O and it not a match." Benedetto ran his hands through his hair. "This is a new type of enemy that's out for Euphoria or Demetrius or you both." He shrugged.
Just then they entered the weapons room. They passed a series of guns, knives, tactical gear, masks, uniform, bullet proof vest and grenades. Euphoria was in awe at everything and how shiny everything looked.

"My brother my be more respectful to you but I, however, had to make sure your legit, so I read your file." Benedetto stated as they reached a door. He turned to them and looked at Euphoria with a stern look. "If anything goes missing, you're the first suspect."
"I'm cured." Euphoria rolled her eyes. As they entered the board room.
The room had been filled with the latest technology, with plasma t.v.'s that covered the whole entire wall that faced the doors, laptops and tablets laid around carelessly. No doubt their owner not far from them.
"Such things aren't curable. Once one, always one." Benedetto said over his shoulder.
"What is he refering to cara?" Demetrius asked him with his head slightly tilted.
"I had gone through a phase where I borrowed shiny things."
"You mean stole." Benedetto interjected.
"You're becoming my least favourite person right now." She glared at him.
"She's a kleptomainiac. She steals whatever is shiny. So hide your things." Benedetto told Demetrius.
"I don't steal! I borrow! There's a difference you bitčh!" She snapped at him.
Benedetto merely belted out his laughter with his head thrown back. At this everybody seemed to stop what they were doing and stare at her with confusion or shock.
"It's alright mio amore there's nothing to be ashamed off." Demetrius kissed her temple trying to calm the fuming woman before him. "Take whatever it is you want, it's yours now."
"Can I just see the things you recovered?" Euphoria huffed.
"Is that how a lady is to behave let alone a queen?" A new voice but highly recognisable voice spoke.
"Imelda." Euphoria said in greeting grimly. "And if you must truly know I'm no lady, far from it really, so no I'm not one. And as for the queen part? It comes with the man so hold onto you're fake titties, I'm about to rock this empire." Euphoria beamed with a smile.
Imelda scoffed. "My boobs aren't fake and you won't last here. I'll make sure of it." Her eyes narrowed.
Benedetto snickered. "If you're boobs are real then Parlo isn't a stoner."

A stoner you say? Euphoria's interest peaked at the new information. When was the last...?
"Enough about tits and stealing. We're here for the items you recovered."
As soon as those words passed Demetrius's lips men entered and placed the case and a few of her things on the long table. A throat cleared to the left. Euphoria's eyes lit up brighter than any child's on Christmas as she saw one of her most prized possession.
"Unicorn!" She rushed to Alloponio who held the teady. She squished the life sized teady in her arms. "How could you find him?"
"Most of your personal detail were looking for it. They said you loved it more than anything." Alloponio stated gesturing to the five men who stood with a slight tint of pink on their cheeks.
Euphoria gave them each a warm tight hug to show her appreciation much to Demetrius's dismay. "Thank you, all of you." She beamed up at the men. "And thank for giving him a little fixer-upper." She spoke refering to the eye patch where the one eye went missing and a stuffed peg leg to replace the missing leg.
"What's so special about that stupid thing anyway?" Delia snarled.
"Demetrius got it for me on our first date." She practically bounced over to him and sat in his lap. "Do you still have Captain Bananas?"
"Of course I do." He whispered in her ear. His breath tickled her neck making her giggle. Delia had the ugly green monster rearing its head as she stared at them, while Imelda looked on with disgust.
"Ok perfect couple, break it up." Benedetto rolled his eyes. "Don't need any baby making in here, no?"
"Do you thrive on being a buzz kill or something?" Euphoria narrowed her eyes at him.
"Or something." He shrugged.
"I recovered the case you spoke off." Alloponio stated placing the case infront of her. "It's a bit banged up but nothing seems to have been taken out."
Euphoria placed the large monkey in the seat besides her. She ran her fingers over the lock with a frown on her face . "Yeah, well someone did try too. These weren't here." She said refering to the bumps on the lock.
Euphoria spun the case around and pressed her thumb on one of the legs of the case. A quick light flashed before it clicked open - backwards. Euphoria opened the case and pulled out the strip photos that she took with Demetrius on their date. She smiled at the small reminder. "Well whoever tried to get into it wouldn't have gotten in even if they tried."
"What are you hiding in there? Only someone who's got secrets or plotting to take us down would have such a thing." Delia was quick to accuse.
"Chill your fake titties bitčh." Euphoria rolled her eyes. "It's just got folders that my uncle left me and important things such as my high school diploma and things that are important to me in general." Euphoria shrugged.
"So, many items that you stole? Since you've got kleptomainia and all." Imelda rose her brow.
"Ok! Who the fučk invited them to this meeting?" Euphoria growled.
"Oh touchy subject I see." Imelda smirked.
"Like I'd give you the pleasure of knowing such things. Loose the smile. So what I steal things? I put them back." She stated as if it were obvious thing. "That's why it's just borrowing."
"I don't like your idea of borrowing" Benedetto frowned slightly. "What kind of kleptomainiac are you anyway?"
"The amazing kind, what else?"
"Alright time for bed mi amore." He stated.
It was just then Euphoria noticed the tired look in his eyes. He must've had a long day.
Without a second thought she quickly packed up all her thing and made sure to lock the case. Standing to her feet she grabbed Captain Bananas as Demetrius grabbed the case. "Goodnight everyone." She smiled at them. Even Delia and Imelda who stabbed her with bullets with their eyes.
Life is about to get exciting in this empire. Euphoria thought to herself as she smiled at Demetrius who took hold of her hand.

The Legion of Nothing
Nick Klein is your average high school geek--if you can still count as average when your grandfather is a retired superhero, and you've been trained in the martial arts by his friend, a mysterious, immortal mercenary. After his grandfather dies, Nick inherits the last version of the Rocket suit, powered armor that allows him to shrug off bullets, smash through walls, and manipulate sound. Along with it comes the base of his grandfather's superhero team including the team's jet and trophies from forty years of fighting criminals and aliens. Together, Nick and his friends, descendants of his grandfather's teammates, attempt to bring back a superhero team that was originally formed during World War 2. Along the way they'll face the normal problems of high school (bullies, homework, and dating), and the less normal problems like supervillians and mysteries leftover from their grandparents' past. As a story, it uses the conventions of all eras of comics from the 1940s on, ranging from serious to silly. If you're hoping for a grim and gritty story, this isn't it. The Legion of Nothing first debuted on my website legionofnothing.com in 2007. In that period it's updated more than 900 times, is still running, and has had millions of pageviews. The first two years have been released as an ebook, receiving good reviews on Amazon and Goodreads. I hope you'll enjoy it, and that you'll review it and comment. Average chapter length is about 4000 words, with only the first vision being noticeably shorter. Have fun reading.
