"I'm ready to go to sleep already and I haven't yet to do anything." Brielle huffed and rolled her eyes as Cameron was pulling into the parking lot of the gymnasium at Dakari's old school.
Today was the back to school bash and like previous years Dakari held it at his old high school. It was around 8 in the morning and everybody was about to help set up. It was about to be a all day thing and Bri knew she was gonna to be wore out. Especially running up behind her babies. Everybody knew they were some very active one year olds.
"I'll give you a massage mama." Cameron said as he backed the tail off his Range Rover up to the doors, parking along side of the other cars.
"Ooo I like the sound of that." Bri danced in her seat and Cam busted out laughing as he climbed out of the truck.
"I bet you do and Trey wake the fuck up!" He reached in the back seat smacking him before shutting the driver's side door quickly.
Brielle stifled her laugh as Trey jumped up hitting his head in the process.
"Tell yo husband ima beat his ass!"
She shook her head and climbed out of the front seat going to the trunk, where Cameron was already standing. He grabbed her equipment, while she grabbed some bins stacking them on top. Trey grabbed the other stuff and held the door open for them before falling in behind.
"Daddy! Where you at?!" Brielle shouted as she walked inside the gym onto the floor.
"Right here muffin!"
She turned around and saw him talking to some people before excusing hisself. He walked over and grabbed the bins from her hands walking away. "Follow me."
"Where you putting me old man?" Bri her head and followed behind him.
"I'm putting you under the scoreboard, so I can keep my eyes on you. I know the cameras gonna be rolling today but I'm going to try and keep the babies unseen as much as I can." Dakari spoke as he set Bri's stuff under the table and Cameron placed her equipment on top covering it up. while Trey slid the bins underneath. They both went back and forth until everything was out of the trunk.
Bri threw her hand. "At this point I don't think these folks are stoppable. It was a wrap after that stuff happened with Keria and my baby shower didn't do nothing but bring more attention."
"Fuck them dead ass girls and let's go back to the house so we all can get ready. My workers gonna finish setting everything up. What was yo mama doing? I think she was sleep when I left."
"She was finishing up the bookbags that Cam are giving away."
"Both of y'all giving away stuff? Shiddd y'all too rich for me!" Dakari shook his head and held the door open allowing Bri to walk out.
"Daddy stop, because you know we can all pull our phones out right now and our accounts gonna damn near match."Bri smacked her lips as she climbed into the passenger seat and rolled the window down once her daddy shut the door.
"Girl I ain't worried about you but I'll see y'all at the house. I gotta make a stop."
Bri shook her head and rolled her window up as she watched her daddy's tall lanky body walk away.
Around noon, that bash was bashing. Like the previous years it was a good turn out. Kailani was somewhere walking around with her camera. Keria was helping her mama with the face paint. Dakari, Cameron, Trey, and Jabari was on the court playing ball against some celebrity as well as some NBA players. Brielle had to make Trey play because she knew it was the first step of being noticed before the draft. Bri was occupied and busy with making the necklaces. It was more than she thought but we all know she's going to get the job done.

The process was simple, once you come in a worker at the door will show you a iPad and e-card will be up on the screen and all you have to do is sign your name and choose your necklace size with your font of choice. After you complete that, the e-card will be sent to Bri's MacBook. Every necklace will be passed out once the bash comes to a closing along with the other nick nacks.
Nova had all the kids except for Mari. She was sitting on mother's chest being that she was strapped into a carrier. Brielle thought the carrier was more convenient, so they wouldn't be worried about the hassle of a stroller or running up behind them.
Bri looked down and noticed Mari was rubbing her ears. "You good stanka?"
Mari nodded and laid her head onto her mother's chest sticking her thumb into her mouth. Bri leaned over and went through their bags grabbing the ear plugs. She stuck them in Mari's ears and kissed her forehead while grabbing her walkie talkie. She pressed the button. "Hi! This is Brielle, can I get a kids lemonade and french fries along with a large strawberry lemonade and nachos with peppers?"
"Is this Mr. Jones daughter that's located at the end of the court, correct?"
Pressing the button again. "Correct."
Releasing the button, Bri went back to work. She grabbed her old English font plate and traced the name Lola into it the gold. She traced it twice making sure it was embedded into the gold, before turning her machine on. Placing her foot on the paddle, she began cutting the name out. As she followed the letters with her drill, the name popped out once she was done. She picked it up and blew on it—blowing the gold particles away. Looking at the screen of her Mac and nodded her head grabbing a 16inch chain quickly assembling the necklace which only took her 15 minutes to make.
"Ms. Jones, here's your order."
Bri looked up and took the tray from the teenage girl and sat on the chair next to her. She grabbed Amaria from the carrier and unhooked it from her chest. She set Mari in her arm and grabbed the cup of lemonade passing it to her.
"Dada!" She pointed as a sweating Cameron was approaching the table.
"Hold on stanka." He reached into his duffle and wiped his face before kissing the side of Bri's face and grabbing Mari.
"Uh uh! Get yo nasty ass hands outta of my nachos!" Bri popped Cameron's hand causing him to pull back.
"Stop cussing in front of my baby and pop me again watch I mess you up!" He jumped at her before walking away.
"Big head ass."
"Why you over here talking to yourself?"
Brielle turned and looked her sister, Kailani and moved the tray from the chair, so she could sit down.
"Bitch! I'm tired. I done switched cameras and changed batteries about a hunnid times." Kai huffed.
"Girl you? These necklaces about to take me out. The parents making sure they get their kids name done." Bri shook her head and popped a cheese covered chip in her mouth.
"You know what's going on with Keria?"
Kailani questioned and Bri stopped chewing. She turned and looked at Kai slowly before shaking her head. With Kai questioning her, Bri knew she was the only person to know. It broke her heart cause she wanted to tell her parents sooo bad but it wasn't her business nor place to. Y'all know the saying, what's done in the dark shall come to the light? Well Brielle was desperately waiting on the light to shine.

"Whatever you know or think you know? Stay out of it because it's nothing we can do unless she comes to us. Because other than that? I'm keeping my mouth closed. I spared her when my baby got taken cause with what I know? I was gonna light that living room up, but if she jump stupid again I'm letting it fly." Bri rolled her eyes at what she know and took a sip of her lemonade before going back to her nachos.
Kai looked at sister with a puzzled look trying to grasp what she was just told. "It's that bad?"
"Very. It's something she gotta get herself out of. I'm not even supposed to know but I found out cause I walked up on her one day while she was on the phone."
Shaking her head. Kailani looked across the court at Keria and frowned wondering what's going on with her sister. "Hollon, where is Kayden?"
"Uh uh!" Bri swatted her hand at Kai. "Bitch stop asking me questions because I know what you doing."
She busted out laughing because she knew she had been caught. She stood up and muffed Bri before walking away.
Once the clock struck five, the bash started to wind down. Everybody was full of nachos, funnel cake, snow cones and any other fair food you can name, plus they were tired from all of the games and activities. Dakari decided that he was going to all out being that it's been three years since he's hosted the bash. It was almost time to give out the bookbags and scholarships plus the necklaces, so Bri was already on the stage. She was in the process of putting the necklaces in the velvet boxes.
"Alright alright!"
Dakari spoke into the mic gaining the crowds attention. "First and foremost I would like to thank you ALL for showing up and showing out. I know it's been a minute since I hosted the Jones Back to School Bash, but I'm back. As we get ready to send y'all home, I would like to thank my sponsors. My son nlaw Cameron Hayes, the CEO of Hayes Construction & Co. My daughter, Bri, the owner of The Diamond Palace, Gatorade, Jansport, the NBA of course and many more. Without y'all this bash wouldn't have turned out as great! Before we pass out everything. I need 6 lines! 6!"
Trey, Bari, and Nova along with 3 other works stood at the front of the stage with different color shirts.
"I need all pre-K parents and their kids to form a line in front of the lady with the purple shirt on. Nova raise your hand for me babygirl!"
As Dakari instructed everybody where to line up, Bri was putting the necklace in alphabetical order.
"Baby here go the certificates and checks." Cameron walked on the stage with a sleeping Airy strapped to his chest.
Bri looked and grabbed the envelope from her husband grasp. "Where is the iPad and MacBook?"
"Damn! I knew it was something I was forgetting. I'll be right back mamas." He turned to walk off the stage and Bri shook her head.
"It's under the table!" She hollered after him and started separating the many book bags by education level. She did that quickly before waiting on her daddy to start.
"Y'all ready? Pre-k come on the stage please."
Dakari spoke into the mic and as they being walking on stage, Bri and Mama Ash issued out the bookbags until they reached the college students. Once they were done with the bookbags, it was now time for Bri and Cam to step to the mic.
"Hi! For those that don't know me, I'm Bri and the owner of The Diamond Palace."
Gasps were heard throughout the the gym because they were actually seeing her in person and not the ShadeRoom, Bri laughed. "Yup that's me, and this big man next to me is my husband and as my daddy stated before he's the owner of Hayes Construction & Co. Let me stop before I start rambling, but in the names of both of our companies we're launching four scholarships. Upcoming and current college students, remember y'all signed the little formed before y'all entered?"
After remembrance settled into their brains Bro starting speaking again. "Right right, y'all better remember! But four blessed and lucky people are about to be granted with something amazing. So before we give the scholarships out, I would like to explain each one. The first one will be given to a freshman that's an first generation college student. Your first four years of college will be ABSOLUTELY paid for. It's called the Family First Recipient, the second one is a book scholarship called the Book Worm and your books will be taken care of for all four semester. Third is the grocery scholarships. I will be taking you grocery shopping every month with a four hundred dollar budget and last but not least the last scholarship is a surprise!"
Bri let the information settle into their heads and smiled because they were getting rowdy. She was a little upset because the college line was kinda short. Most back to school bash excludes college students and that's why she always pushed to her daddy to make it know that college students were welcome as well. "Y'all ready?"
Cameron passed her the MacBook Pro along with the papers.
Bri pulled certificate out of the envelope. "Okay the Family First scholarship is awarded to a Reign Jackson! You are awarded eighty eight thousand dollars along with a fully equipped MacBook Pro! Come on up here girl!"
She screamed and ran on stage attacking Bri in a hug. Brielle hugged her back and they rocked side to side.
"Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!"
"You're welcome love! Turn around so we can take a picture." Bri turned her around and passed her belongings to her as they smiled wide for Kailani.
After everything was passed out and shut down. Now it was time to clean up. Bri was at her table packing up all her equipment. She grabbed one of her bins and and placed everything inside before grabbing another one doing a some.
"Bitch you got me fucked me up!" Brielle threw the bin and ran across the court picking up Airy, who was just pushed down by Keria.
"Fuck is wrong with you Za'Keria?!"
By now, the family and including some of the workers put their attention on the duo that was standing in the middle of the court in each other's faces.
"Get out my face Bri damn."
Bri mugged her sister and looked at Airy. "You okay stanka?"
Lil mama shook her head and pointed to her busted bloody knee. "Hurt mama."
Bri chuckled and threw her head back before smacking the shit out of Keria. "I don't know what the fuck your problem is but don't take that shit out on my child. She ain't did shit to you. You got me fucked up and I'm sicka yo shit!"
"Woah woah woah! What'a going on?!" Dakari stepped between them holding Bri back because he knows how she is.
"Yo dumb ass daughter literally pushed Airelle to the floor making her bust her knee and now she's bleeding." Bri rubbed Airy's back as she explained to her father what happened.
"Laura what the hell is wrong you? Not only is she's her sister's child, she's also yo niece."
Keria smacked her lips. "Ok and? She was in my way."
Brielle passed Airy to her mama and before Dakari could even blink, Bri snatched Keria up by her throat. "Really? She was in yo way? BITCH SHE'S ONE! Just because you letting that nigga toss you around like a rag doll and you mad at yoself don't mean you can take yo anger and frustration out anybody else. ESPECIALLY one of my fucking daughters, your fucking NEICE. Stupid ass bitch!"
Bri head-butted Keria twice and dropped her to the floor.
When everything that Bri said settled into Dakari's brain, he was now alert. He frowned. "Wait a fuckin minute! What you mean? Kayden hitting on her?"
"Yes, I been knew but it wasn't my business to tell anybody. Keria didn't even know I knew until just then. Why you think she always got shades and make up on when we're ALL together? She loves doing make up not wearing it. That's how I knew something was wrong. I found out because she was on the phone with him one day at my house and I walked up on it, but she got me fucked up. You can fuck with me but my kids are off limits. AMARI let's fucking go! My daddy can get my stuff."
Dakari looked around to make nobody was lurking around. He looked at his workers. "I swear to God himself, if any of this ends up on social media yall dead and I mean it!"
Bri grabbed Airy from her mama and marched out of the gymnasium with her husband following behind her. Airy tightened her grip around her mama's neck and stuck her face in it. Bri was so angry she was crying. Sister or not Keria crossed the wrong line.
Cam unlocked the range and Bri climbed in the back seat holding Airy to her chest. She grabbed a wipe from one of the cases that was on the floor and wiped her knee off. Cam placed Mari in her seat and looked at his wife
"Baby." He called out to Brielle and his face soften once he saw the tears rolled down her face. He leaned in and placed kisses all over her face including Airy's
"She's okay baby. Stop crying before you make yourself sick." He wiped her face and shut the door before climbing into front seat. He looked in the rear view mirror and shook his head as Bri was comforting Airelle.
