It has been exactly two weeks since we moved and I loved the peace and quiet. It's only a few houses out her but we had the biggest lot. The house was gorgeous from top to bottom and I fall in love with it more and more everyday. My baby really did a good job and I love him for that. God really blessed me with a man and I can't wait until I'm able to eat him up.

But today was the baby shower and oh my god! I'm so excited! Cameron and I finally get to see what our little stink is. Ma told us to wear all white and I ordered a dress but I can't find it. Probably somewhere in all the shit we haven't unpacked.

"Babydaddy!" I laughed to myself because I know he was gonna go off on me. He hated when I said that.

"Alaya don't make me fuck you up!" I heard him yell as he walked into the closet.

I titled my head to the side smirking. "You can fuck me up in about a month or two."

He popped my expose thigh. "Stop playing with me girl, but wassup baby? Why was you yelling for me?"

I popped his stomach and squealed as he spun me around, pulling me into him. I fell into a fit a laughter as he attacked me with kisses along my face and neck. "Oh my god baby stop! Your beard is ticklish. You finna make me pee!"

I screamed and he let me go. "Uh uh you not finna pee on me again."

"Oh my god! That was a one time thing. Shouldn't have been trying to finger bang me anyway knowing I'm with child, your child." I smacked my lips pushing him before walking out of the closet.

"Cause what Kel say? I miss her! I love her! I do, I do, I do, I do-oooh!"

I busted out laughing as he remixed Kel's I love orange soda song. I turned around and started laughing even hard cause he was doing the Bankhead bounce. "You playing and we're supposed be getting ready."

"Girl you were yelling my name."

I waved him off. "Cause I don't know where my dress is."

"Oh it's behind the door. I took it out the closet when I first got up." He grabbed the dress and handed it to me. I shook my head and laid it across the bed. I took my shower already, so all I had to do was slip my shoes and dress on. My hair was already down in some neat waist length box braids, thanks to my Nova.

I grabbed my shea butter oil and began rubbing my body down. I sprayed some more deodorant under arms and slipped my diamond earrings in my ear. I sighed cause I know this day is about to long. Watch I take my pregnant ass right in the basement to lay down.

"Mamas! You better have my five stacks ready too."

I rolled my eyes cause he got another thing coming. Cameron and I made a bet that If we're having a boy, I owe him 5k and if we're having a girl he owes me 10k. My stomach was sitting low kind of high so we both don't know what to think. Hence why we made the bet. Everybody knew but us. Anticipation was killing me. I'm ready to shop until I can't shop no more.

Pulling my sports bra over my head, I threw it and grabbed two pasties from the dresser and placed them over my nipples. Milk got my titties heavy. My dress was white of course with one sleeve and a little bow on the side. Cameron was gonna be looking somebody mack daddy. He had them linen pants with a long sleeve tight fitted shirt.

"Baby, did Kailani and them take the proposal boxes with them?" I asked as I slipped a single gold bracelet on my wrist and pulled my cross pendant necklace on.

"I think so. This baby spoiled as fuck already though, because why my parents got a spot for his or her name on the paperwork for everything they own? They say if anything happens to them, God forbid, but he or she will be next in line to receive everything after Essence and I."

I smiled cause that's expected. "It's their first grandchild, so of course they're going pull out all the stops."

"I hope you don't mind, but I put some rental properties in stink's name unofficially." Cameron spoke as I watched him rub his body down in shea butter. I have always been amazed at how well he kept hisself up cause baby let me tell you, bad hygiene would've be a deal breaker for me.

I looked at him like he was crazy. I was gonna ask to do that anyway cause my parents did the same for me and my sisters. Now their doing the same for Sorayá and Zaire. "Boy that's crazy to say. It's your child to. We can finalize all the paperwork once we figure out the name, so we set up the trust fund. Did you have one?"

He nodded his head. "Yes, I still have it. It's like 250k in it. I call it a unofficial rainy day fund."

I gasped. "For real? I still have mine too. I actually have two. My mama set us up one and daddy. We was able to access half of the first one when we were 16 and the second one was for college, not that we needed it cause all 3 of us had scholarships. I had a academic and athletic scholarship."

"Basketball or track and field?"

"Track." I sat down on the couch we had in the room and rubbed my stomach. My feet were starting to hurt.

"Waymen! You're the girl everybody was talking about before I left school. You did shotput and the 4x4 right?"

I looked upside his head before nodding slowly. "What you mean talking about me? I wasn't even on campus yet."

"Everybody in the athletic department was talking about this freshman signee that could throw at least 58-64 meters. Now I see why you pack a mean punch. Strong arm ass girl."

I flicked him off. "Boy fuck you."

"We can't do that right now but why you quit the team?"

"I popped my shoulder out of socket and messed up my ankle. I could've stayed on but my ankle was weak. I wasn't trying to go pro and I didn't need the scholarship, so I quit. It was strictly fun for me. I had been doing it since middle school anyway. I was due for a break."

Two hours later we were pulling into the driveway of our old house. It was a lot of cars parked on the grass and I shook my head because somebody paying for the landscaping and it won't be me and mine. Cameron parked the range killing the engine. He stepped out and made his way to my side to help me out. I held his hand and stepped down. I felt my ears twitch and immediately looked around cause somebody was watching us.

I scanned the yard and street. I shook head once my stomach started hurting. Something bad was going to happen today and I feel it.

"Mamas, you feel it too?"

I snapped my head up looking at Cameron. I nodded my head as I started pouting.

He cuffed my face and kissed my lips three times because he say third times the charm because prior to us dating we ran into each other three times. "You know I'll never let anything happen to you right? So don't stress. Let's have fun and celebrate our baby."

I nodded my head and he kissed me again before taking my hand. We walked towards the gate and once I saw the color of the decorations I instantly started screaming. "AHHHHHHH! OH MY GOD!"

I hid my face in Cameron's chest and started crying. So sick of these hormones man.

"Stop crying and let me take your picture big baby."

I pulled back from my husband's chest at the sound of Kailani's voice. I wiped my face and turned around. I smiled as Cam placed his hands on stomach and stuck his face in my neck.

"On 3 say baby girl!"

Kai counted with her fingers and on 3 Cam and I shouted. "Baby girl!"

She snapped the picture and walked off.

"Oh my god! Cameron we're having a girl." I felt the tears again and shook my head. Oh god make it stop.

He gripped my neck pulled me into him before sticking his tongue down my throat. "Mhmm."

I moaner in the kiss and we pulled back breathing hard. He placed his forehead on mine. "Thank you baby. Thank you for carrying my princess."

"Damn what y'all trying to do? Make another baby?"

I shook my head as I looked at Jabari and Treyvon. They both had on white tees with pink Nike shorts and white forces on their feet. I smiled once I noticed the pins that they had on their shirts said uncle.

"Keep on Bari. You just adding to your ass whooping I owe you after I drop." I punched his chest and waddled away. He's truly the annoying big brother I've always wanted.

I made my rounds and admire the decorations. The theme was My Little Flamingo. My mama and Sasha really did a good job. I walked over to the dessert table and grabbed a cupcake or two.

"Uh uh! Get yo big butt away from the table."

I turned around and mugged my daddy. He had SoSo and Zaire in his arm. "Leave me alone old man!"

Zaire reached for the cupcake so I wiped a finger across the icing and placed it in his mouth. TeTe's big boy is about to be one next month.

"Nah I'm just messing with you muffin, but are you excited?"

I nodded my head. "Yes! I've always wanted a boy first but my stomach was sitting too low, so I knew I was having a girl."

"When's your due date?"

I thought about it and truly don't remember. I shrugged my shoulders. "I really don't remember but honestly? I'm due any day now. I'm just glad she won't be a Gemini. I can handle a Cancer because Cam is one, but a Gemini? I refuse. Since we're in the last week of June, she just might share a birthday with her dad, Zai, and Bari."

"Alright!" I took my eyes off my daddy at the sound of my mother's voice coming through the speakers.

"It's time for games! I need the mama and daddy to be front and center please! Come sit y'all asses in these chairs. Cameron go help my baby!"

Cam held his hands up laughing. "Yes ma'am."

I laughed as he rushed my way and led us to the chairs that were placed at the back of the pool. We sat down and I fed him a cupcake and licked the frosting off his lip. He sucked on my on tongue and my eyes widen as a flash went off. I'm going to whoop Kailani's ass.

"Ooooo y'all nasty!"

I hid my face as I pulled back.

"Uh uh! Don't be shame now. We know how y'all got that baby."

I busted out laughing at Nova as she sat in Trey's lap. I think she was a little intoxicated cause Trey was whispering in her ear and she was just giggling away. I'm happy she got her shit together cause she had my bestfriend messed up. She tired to pull that I'm older card and Trey put his foot down. Which I don't blame him for.

"Okay the first game is Bobbing for Pacifiers. I need the daddy to be, both granddaddies, Jabari, Trey, and Kayden."

My mama spoke as Kailani and Keria rolled two tables out that where housing 6 buckets full of water with floating pacifiers. I shook my head because I knew this was about to a funny mess.

"Ashley stop playing with me. I am not about to bob for no pacifiers." My daddy mugged my mama as he passed Zaire to Nova and Sorayá to Essence.

"I don't give a damn cause you are."

I shook my head as the my lined up in front. I hollered because Jabari done took his shirt off and threw it at Kai. Boy is a damn fool.

"Whoever spits out the most pacifiers wins a prize. Soooo on your mark! Get set and go!"

I screamed as they started because they looked like some dogs trying to get some water.

"Cam stop cheating before I beat yo ass." Jabari pushed him to throw him off balance causing Cam to smack him. Them two just don't quit. Trey's bucket was almost clear and Kayden was struggling.

After a hour of playing games it was finally time to eat and open gifts. Cam went to go fix our plates. I was excited to see what everybody bought cause I know didn't nobody half step, especially Cam's people.

"Here you go mamas."

I looked up and Cameron was sliding my plates across the table. Yes plates cause I don't like my food touching. So disgusting. He walked away but returned second later with two cups and his plate. I looked at him and squinted my eyes. "What's in your cup?"

He turned his whole face to me and slowly licked his lips. I closed my eyes cause he knows what he's doing. But I shook my head once I realized his eyes low answered my question. "Is that your first cup?"

He shook his head as stabbed a meatball with his fork before sticking it into his mouth. "Fourth."

"Make it your last." Ever since Nerrick was found dead, Cameron's drinking took a drastic turn and I didn't like it one bit. I've been monitoring him from a far because I don't wanna be all down his back. He just lost his brother and I understand everybody grieves different, but I refuse to let my husband go down that road.

"Yes ma'am. Bari! Bring me a water and a Gatorade." He shouted to Bari and placed his hand on my exposed thigh, moving it up and down.

"Heads up!"

Cameron raised his hands and Jabari tossed the drinks resulting into Cam catching them both. He popped the top to the water and took a big gulp before going back to his food. I squeezed his hand assuring him that I was here. He smiled and leaned over kissing the corner of my mouth.

I whipped my head around once I heard the shots go off. I stood up and scanned the backyard as everybody besides my family panicked. My daddy flipped the tables over shielding my sisters and the babies. While my mama was assembling her AR-15. That Birkin not heavy for nothing. She tossed it to my daddy and he pulled the clip back. I saw somebody creeping through the gate.

"DADDY! COMING THROUGH THE GATE!"

I screamed before Cameron snatched me down. He flipped the table over pulling me into his front.

I jumped and covered my ears as I cried. It sound like the shots were getting closer and I started crying harder as I heard baby sister and nephew screams.

"Fuck!"

I heard my daddy yell and instantly thought the worst. I chuckled through my tears because nah bitches just signed their death certificates. Some more shots went off before I heard tires screeching indicating they got away.

"Everybody up! Brielle! Cameron!" My daddy called out for us. Cam stood up first and helped me. Our parents immediately pulled us into a big hug. I felt hands on my stomach and at this point I didn't care who they belonged too.

"Cam take her home. We're gonna clean up and we're right behind y'all." My daddy kissed me all over my face before pulling me into another hug.

I looked around the backyard letting the tears fall. Everything was the destroyed from the dessert table to the gift table. Like my baby shower bro? My baby shower? Bitches gotta die yo.
