It was finally the month of December, my favorite month besides January. The initial plan for Christmas was that Cameron and I were going to merge our families together in a big cabin in the mountains but since I'm on probation, we can't do it. I've been kind of bummed out about it cause Christmas is my favorite holiday, but hey I did the crime, now I have to suffer the consequences. Cameron gave me his card to go buy decorations and stuff for the house to cheer me up. I was excited because I didn't really decorate last year. Nothing like a little shopping spree to pick me up.

I was currently in the Range on my way to At Home, one of the best stores to shop at for home decor. I was undecided on theme for the house. I'm stuck between blue and white or purple and gold. Guess I'll just figure it out once I make it to the store. Think I'm going to do some Christmas shopping as well while I'm out. Oo my family is about to break me. I shook my head and took a left at the light then taking a right pulling into the parking lot. I found a park not too far from the door and backed in. Throwing the truck in park, I removed my seatbelt and pulled the mirror down checking my face. I rubbed my lips in vaseline and grabbed my wristlet before stepping out. I locked the doors and put the key up.

Walking through the automated doors, I grabbed a disinfecting wipe and wiped a buggy down before making my way through the store. I walked through looking at stuff until I made it to the Christmas decorations. Do I want some yard decor too? I'll come back to that. I decided that I'll be going with the blue and white seashell theme. Pulling two containers of ornaments from the shell, I placed them into the buggy and moved on down the isle. I made sure to pick up little things for the wall and table placements. Im just going to go all out with the theme. Moving on to the next isle of choice, I grabbed a bundle of gift wrap that coordinate with my theme and placed it in the cart.

After having to get another buggy, I knew it was time go. I shook my head as I followed behind the worker. The yard decor caught my eye along with some regular decor and hey I couldn't resist. About to put baby to work. Making it to the front, the cashier scanned everything and whew. Let's not discuss my total. I pushed my buggy outside with the work following. I managed to pull my keys out and opened the trunk. I pressed the side button to let the seats down and slid my bags to the side while he slid the boxes in. Pulling a twenty out my wristlet and handed it over to him cause he didn't have to help me.

"Thank you and happy holidays."

I nodded my head and closed the trunk. "You're welcome and same to you."

Pulling the door open, I hopped in and threw my wristlet into the passenger seat. I pushed the start button and pulled my seatbelt on. Before I could pull out my phone started ringing, I pulled it out not bothering to look at the contact cause it's nobody but family. I slid the bar over and connected it to the system before pulling out. "Hello?"

"Hey sissy! You at home?"

I nodded my head once I realized I was talking to Keria. I passed the person in front of me continuing in the direction of the mall. "No, why wassup?"

"I need you to watch Akai for me. I was requested to do someone's makeup for their birthday."

"You in Dallas already?" I decreased my speed as I was approaching a red light.

"Like 30 mins away, it was honestly a last minute thing. I would've left him with Kai, but she had a big shoot, she's been gone all morning."

I pulled off from the light making a right. "Okay, you can drop him off at the house. Cameron is there, I'll let him know you're on the way."

"Okay, thank you!" She rushed off the phone and I shook my head cause she's lying. Because she said she wasn't taking appointments under any circumstances until she was ready. That hoe is up to something and I'm about to find out.

"Hey Siri, call kailani with white heart."

"Calling kailani with white heart."

I pulled into the mall parking lot and drove around until I found a park. Reversing in like always, I parked and waited until Kai answered.

"Wassup Bri?"

"You busy? How's the shoot going?" I looked around the parking lot seeing that it was fairly full. Think I'm just go to food court and shop online.

"Shoot? Girl I'm at ho— Amir stop before I smack you."

She's with Jabari? What the fuck is Keria up to? "You at home? Then why did Keria just say you been gone all morning and Hey Bari!"

"Hey sister!" I laughed and shook my head because I knew exactly what he did when he screamed.

"Not she lying. When I got up she was already gone and didn't say bye, left a note, or nothing."

That's very weird and not like her at all. "Is she okay? Like has she been acting weird or anything?"

"Not that I know of, hollon! I think she's seeing somebody because when I'm up editing pictures or doing homework in the middle of the night she be on the phone with somebody giggling. I know it ain't no friends cause she cut everybody off after she was posted on the shaderoom. Then she's always rushing off the phone when I pop up."

I sat back in the sit and tapped my fingers against the steering wheel. This sneaky heffa! "Well she finna drop Zai off at my house. I'm going to call you once I leave the mall."

"Okay and then I don't even know why she lied to you. Bitch know you see right through people."

I laughed because Kai was right. "Me either, I love you and make sure you send me your grades and Christmas list."

"I will and love you too!"

I hung up and quickly texted Cameron before getting out.

baby! get up! keria is on her way to drop zaire off. I'm getting food from the mall, anything specific you want?

💍she just left and a philly cheese steak with cheese fries and a arnold palmer.

I shook my head and threw my seatbelt off killing the engine. Since he doesn't play football anymore, he just don't care about what he eat. I grabbed my wristlet along with the keys and hopped out. Ready to go home so I can get out the clothes. Shutting the door with my hip, I adjusted my clothes and walked towards the front entrance. Yea I'm definitely doing my shopping online because no ma'am. I went straight to the food court. I ordered my baby's food first and made sure I got the cheese in a cup so his fries wouldn't be soggy. I wanted Chinese so I walked down and stood in line. I rubbed my arm and looked around. Yea I need to hurry up and get up out of here.

"Next!"

I moved up towards the counter. I didn't even bother looking at the menus cause I already knew what I wanted. "Can I get the two meat entree. Fried rice, bourbon chicken, orange chicken, egg rolls and a tray of crab rangoons."

"Drink?"

I shook my head no.

"Name and your total is $15.95."

"Bri." I pulled out a twenty from my wristlet and place it in her hand. I held my hand up saying no to the change. I stepped to the side and and rubbed my hand up and down my thigh. Yea it's definitely time to go cause the crowd is starting to get bigger.

"Order for Bri!"

I walked up and grabbed my bag before hightailing it out of the door. Large crowds just make me nervous. I walked through the parking lot and hit the locks. I pulled the passenger side door open, set the food on the floor and set Cameron's drink in the cup holder. I returned to the other side—pulling the door open. I hopped in and pushed the start button—pulling out. I really wanna know what the hell is up with Za'Keria cause why she lying to me and Kai?

It only took me about 25 minutes to get home because I was speeding. I turned down my street and backed into my driveway. I backed all the way down and hit the garage opener. I backed in halfway and opened the trunk. Killing the engine, I grabbed my wristlet and food before getting out. Shutting the door closed with my hip, I walked into the garage opening up the side door. I kicked my shoes off and went into the kitchen. "Baby!"

I took the containers out the bags and placed them on the counter before throwing a the bags away.

"Wassup mamas and say hey tete."

I looked up and Cameron was walking to the kitchen with Zaire on his chest. Oh my god, it was too cute. He kissed my forehead and leaned down looking in my face.

"Hey baby." I double pecked his lips and pulled back

"You got some bags for me to get?" He asked and I made a funny face.

"Do I?"

I laughed and shook my head going over to the sink. I washed my hands throughly before drying them. I took Zaire from his arms and sat at the bar. I grabbed my phone going to the find my app and this bitch even turned her location off. Mhm, the hell is she up to.

I already know Bri saw right through my little lies. I could never lie, don't even know why I be trying but I dropped my baby off and now I was on my way downtown to The Hilton. I know the folks that's reading probably like what the hell. Y'all should understand soon. It took me about 30 minutes to get downtown. I pulled into the parking lot and parked. I pulled the mirror down and checked my face teeth making sure I looked presentable. I killed the engine and grabbed my bag before stepping out. I hit the locks and made my way inside. I pulled my phone out and checked my messages. Room 221 I whispered to myself.

Going to the elevators, I pressed the up button and stepped on pressing the two. After a short ride, I got off and took a left. Coming up on 221, I knocked and bit my bottom lip. The door was pulled open and I waved. "Hi."

"C'mere." He pulled me into a hug and I sniffed his shirt breathing in his scent. I pulled back from the hug and smiled in his face showcasing my pink braces. He shook his head and held the open wider allowing me to step through. Oh my god. My jaw dropped and I whipped my head around and he was standing there with a bouquet of multiple pink roses. I started pouting, cause why he do this. There was a teddy bear sitting up against the pillows, a pink heart made out of roses, pink and white balloons along with happy birthday spelled in silver balloons up against the headboard.

He chuckled and cuffed my face. "You better not cry man. I know your official birthday isn't until christmas and being that we're going to be away with our families, I had to do this a little early. I also know that know you've been through some things and I admire how you handled everything that was thrown your way. Your crown may have slipped but it didn't fall. You're beautiful, intelligent, ambitious, passionate, and did I mention beautiful yet? I could go on and on but you already know how I feel about you and everything. Za'Keria, will you do the honors of being my girlfriend?"

If my jaw could've hit the floor, I believe it would have.

"I know this may be lot for you and if you're not ready, I truly understand. But I just want you to know I'm willing to take it as slow as you want. We don't have rush straight into it. Just let me show you the man I am."

I looked up in his face and smiled. "Of course I'll be your girlfriend Kayden."

Yes Kayden, Cam's and Jabari's friend and old teammate. I honestly didn't expect for it to get this far. We met at the birthday party and it went from there. Of course I was very pregnant at the time and I thought it was a little weird to be talking to another man while carrying another mans baby. However he stayed by my side and here we are. He was very persistent and no matter how much I tried to push him away he stayed. I am scared to start over cause I was with Jaylen damn near my whole life but that's normal. It's been a year since I have been single and now we are here. It wasn't even supposed to get this far but hey, they always say expect the unexpected. He's very attentive and patient with me.

Now Kayden is a senior majoring in Mass Communication and a minor in Photography. He's eligible for the NFL draft and he's hoping the Texans or Cowboys pick him up because he doesn't want to leave the state. He's ranked number three behind Bari and Cam. If football doesn't work out, he has plans to own a magazine and publishing company.

"I'm about to go get us something to eat, you get comfortable and tell yo folks you're okay so they won't be worrying." Kayden said before kissing me on my forehead and the corner of my lips before leaving.

I removed my outside clothes and pulled a pair of shorts along with a sports bra. I grabbed my MacBook from bag and climbed in the bed sitting up against the headboard. I opened and entered my password before clicking on the FaceTime icon. I tapped the group with my sisters and it ring until they both answered. Bri was mugging the camera and she was the first to speak.

"You know I'm going to get you for lying right?"

"But Briiiii!" I whined and threw my head back pouting.

"Girl forget what she's saying! Where the hell are you?" Kai waved her hand and looked into the camera.

"Hold on! Are those balloons?" Bri yelled and I mentally facepalmed myself.

"Bitch! Za'Keria Laura Jones! Why the hell are you at a hotel?" Kai rosed up and set up against her headboard.

I wish these bitches stop asking questions and let me say what I gotta say. Damn! I looked at the camera and laughed because they were mugging me looking impatient as ever. Just gonna say it.

"ImwithmyboyfriendKayden." I rushed out in one breath.

"Ahhhhhh oh my god!"

Bri was screaming and Kailani was just staring at the screen with her mouth open. They so fucking dramatic oh my god!

"Boyfriend? Since fucking when!"

"Brielle! If you wake my nephew I'm going to whoop you, watch yo mouth and hey sis!"

I stifled a laughed as Bri frowned and rolled her eyes. Not in check. I am sceddd honey! She fought the air before standing up. She walked up the steps and went into her office—shutting the door behind her.

"Get on my damn nerves." She mumbled and laid across her couch.

"Okay if you're done being a brat can we go back to this bitch having a boyfriend? Please and thank you." Kailani said as she clapped her hands.

"Do y'all remember Kayden? Cam and Bari's friend? We've been talking since the party and he became my boyfriend today." I played with my fingers as they took in the information I just gave them. I'm the baby so I know they're not going to do nothing but tell me the truth wether I like it or not.

"Well I'd be damn." Kai threw her hands up and looked at me with shock.

"Already know I'm about to be the big sister I am. Are you ready? Like we all know you was with Jaylen damn near yo whole life and what you went through wasn't easy. Y'all have been talking for five months so I say you might be ready but then again I'm not you. I just don't want you hurt again boobie. It's not just you gotta think about. You have a baby now and he plays a huge factor. But if you're happy then I'm happy too. Just let Kayden know he can taste this lead if he wanna jump stupid."

I nodded my head and took in everything Bri said cause she's right, but I'm ready. I wouldn't be here today if I wasn't. I like Kayden but my guard will be up because you can never be too sure.

"Damn bitch! You talking about shooting somebody already when you JUST beat a case."

I started hollering cause oh my god. Kai is a fool and funny as fuck without trying. Bri mugged the camera and flipped Kai off before hanging up. I couldn't do nothing but laugh while shaking my head.

"Bri pretty much said what needed to be said so I'm not going to say too much. If you're happy then that's all that matters. You deserve it boobie, just be careful. And whatever you do, always remember that he's not Jaylen. Now I'm finna go beat Jabari up cause I know he knew."

I shook my head as she hung up cause I know she's not lying. I exited out the FaceTime app and logged into canvas. I made sure I did everything during the week cause I knew this weekend was coming up. Once I saw I nothing was added I exited out and closed my mac. I need to talk to my parents about this new relationship and about starting my own cosmetic line along with finding a suite. Zaire is now five months, so it's time to start getting things in order. Still undecided if I wanna graduate early or not.

It's been a couple days since Za'Keria sprung the news on her sisters. They were happy that she was happy and that was the only thing that matter. Because in the end they had no say so at all. It was a a cold Tuesday and Brielle was upstairs in her office packing orders. She wants to have everything ready to go out by Friday so her customers can receive their packages before or by Christmas. After the holiday Bri will be shutting her website down until after grand opening which will be held on her birthday.

Around four thirty Brielle was done with over a hundred orders. She did all original pieces first cause she knew custom orders would take up more time. Standing up from the floor, Bri stretched and pulled her shorts down before walking out of her office. She went downstairs into the kitchen and grabbed a strawberry kiwi gatorade from the fridge before walking to Cameron's office slash game room. She knocked on the wall of the threshold and walked in. "Hey baby."

Cameron looked up and smirked. He waved her over and she walked around his desk—hopping on top. He licked his lips as he watched her thighs spread.

"Wassup mamas?" He rolled in front of her and rubbed her stomach before gripping her thighs.

"Nothing just came to check on you. I just done packaging up the first set of orders."

Brielle spoke before cracking open her Gatorade taking a sip before passing it over to Cam. He took it from her grasp and took a big gulp before setting it on his desk. Leaning back into his seat he rubbed his chin looking deep in thought.

"Remember what know you asked me last month, you ready?"

Bri eyes got me big and she smiled swinging her legs back and forth. "Can we record it?"

Shock was evident across Cameron's face as he look at his fiancé. He licked his lips and smirk. "You wanna make a tape?"

Nodding her head, Bri jumped down from the desk and pulled her shorts down from in between her legs. "I'm about to go get my camera, meet me upstairs."
