It has been a month since Bri was arrested. She bonded out the same day, but being the fact she lives in Texas, Bri can face up to twenty years in prison. Crazy right? If Bri refuses jail time, which she's more than likely going to do. She's going to try for a year or two on probation and pay a possible fine. Her parents were upset with her but they know how their daughter is when it comes to respect.

Cameron felt bad because he said if he would have listened in the first place this could've been avoided. Of course Bri was upset with him but she can't put the blame on nobody but herself. Didn't nobody tell her to pull the trigger. She did that on her own. She even said she'll do it again. 😭

Jabari has officially been in medical school for a month and baby it has been a ride. When he's not at school, he's either at home studying like crazy or working. But his parents told him to quit his job so he could focus solely on school and they'll handle his expense because they know how med school can get. He paid his rent up for the next five months, so all he has to worry about is gas and groceries. And with his support system, he knows he will never go without anything.

Between her studies, photo shoots and doing hair? Kai is literally on the go. That's normal for her but it's also a huge adjustment because she's in a relationship now. It's different because she has somebody else feelings to worry about and not just hers. She has been in her feelings for a couple days because she has not been able to see Jabari. But it's the weekend and she's making it her mission to go see her man.

Keria is slowly but surely coming back around. She thought online classes were going to be hard because of Zai, but she's adjusting well. He doesn't give her any problems, only time he cries is when he's hungry. Keria won't be taking any clients until Zai was at least six to eight months. She also wants her own studio because she doesn't want anybody knowing where she, her sister and baby lay their heads.

It was a Friday afternoon and Bri was about to get ready to run her errands. She has to get her oil changed, pick up her shipment, and go grocery shopping. She would've started this morning, but she slept in. Since she took care of her hygiene already. All she had to do was slip on some clothes. Bri walked over to her dresser and pulled out a black pair of leggings, a long sleeve graphic shirt. She pulled the leggings on and slipped the shirt over her head.

"Main man with red heart is calling." Bri walked over to the bed and grabbed her phone sliding the answer bar over.

"Hey daddy!" She placed the phone on speaker and walked into her bathroom. Bri sat that phone on the counter and removed her bonnet.

"Wazssup babygirl! What you doing?"

Bri grabbed her brush and ran it through her tresses. "About to get ready and go out. What you doing old man?"

Dakari smacked his lips. "Yo mama don't think I'm old."

"And that's why y'all just had another baby after 19 nineteen years." Brielle laughed and shook her head. She grabbed a pony tail holder and pulled her hair into a high tight ponytail.

"Girl you in our business? Don't do that. Where you about to go?"

"I'm about to get my oil changed and pick up a few things. Do you wanna contribute to the bill? What you doing? Where is Ma and SoSo?" Bri grabbed her phone and walked back into her room—going towards her closet.

"Ya Mama is upstairs in her room. SoSo and I are about to go on a date with your rich ass boyfriend."

Brielle busted out laughing and threw her head back. She shook her head and grabbed her yeezy slides along with a fitted hat. "Ma back to designing clothes and why you going on a date with my rich ass boyfriend?"

"Yes and because he wanted to talk to me about something before he leaves. It's about time for me to go. I was just calling to check up on you. I love you muffin!"

Frowning, Bri looked at the phone. What could they be talking about she thought. "I love you too."

Bri was about to hang up until she heard her daddy. "Aye muff! Call and check on Keria! Pop up if you have to."

"Okay daddy." She hung up and grabbed her neverfull before returning to her room. She sprayed herself with Gucci Guilty and slipped on her apple watch. Picking up her wallet from the dresser, she threw into her purse and turn the lights off walking out. Bri jogged down the stairs and walked into the kitchen. She grabbed a water from the fridge and her keys from the hook and walked out of the side door. She tapped the garage opener and unlocked her doors. Walking over to the drivers side and slid in. She threw her purse into the passenger seat and slipped her water into the cup holder.

Bri pulled her seatbelt across her and pushed the start button. As she grabbed her phone to connect it, a smile stretched across her face. Her daddy cashapp'd her.

Bri heart'd the payment and backed out the garage down the driveway. She tapped her steering wheel and Shoulda Let You Go x Keyshia Cole came through the speakers.

"Just to think about it, I would do things that I would regret. To understand how I felt for you, I tried real hard time and time again but I didn't know my love wouldn't grow, I should of just let it go. But I, stayed around thinking you would learn to love." Brielle sung along as she drove down the road.

Meanwhile over in Hempstead, Kailani was in her room getting her things ready. She only had two classes today because her third was canceled. So she decided to leave early. She grabbed her coach duffle from the top shelf in her closet and threw it on the bed. Walking over to her dresser, she grabbed some undergarments along with some socks. Since she was only staying for the weekend, she packed two outfits and majority of lounge clothes. She placed her hygiene and hair stuff inside before zipping it closed.

Kai grabbed her sprayground bookbag and slid her macbook inside along with her charger to it. She grabbed her case of SD cards from her camera bag because she has a lot of pictures to edit. Since she only had homework for two classes, Kai only grabbed those needed books. Once she figured she had everything, she grabbed her book bag throwing it across her back. She picked up her duffle and grabbed her wristlet before walking out of the room.

"You're about to leave now?"

Kai looked up and saw Keria sitting on the couch with a sleeping Zai on the side of her. She nodded her head. "Yes, you need anything before I go?"

Keria shook her head. "No ma'am, just be safe and let me know when you make it."

"I got you." Kai came around and kissed Zaire on his cheek before walking out of the door. She pulled her keys from the side of her bookbag and unlocked the doors to her jeep. She placed everything in her backseat and climbed in the front pushing the start button. Kai pulled her seatbelt across her and plugged up her phone. It was around 1pm and about time she'd make it, it'll be 4 and Jabari should just be getting out of class. Kailani backed out of the driveway and headed towards the interstate.

Around four thirty-ish, Kai was pulling into Jabari's apartment complex. She drove through the parking lot and saw Bari's Denali. He must've got out of class early today. It was a park beside his truck, so Kai backed in and gladly took the spot. She killed her engine and threw the seatbelt off before stepping out. She pulled her back door open grabbing everything—hitting the locks after. She was very glad she didn't have to climb three flights of stairs no more because once Cam moved out, Bari downsized into a one and one. Kai made her way down the walk way and pulled her key out. Yes, our good sis got a key. She stuck in the lock and turned the key—stepping in.

Kai took her shoes off and dropped her bags by the door. She closed the door behind her and walked towards the front. She looked around and noticed how quiet it was. Maybe he's sleep she thought. Shrugging her shoulders, Kai walked down the hall and pushed his room door open. She smiled once she saw him sprawled across the bed on his back with one hand in his briefs. She shook her head and removed her hoodie. Walking over to the bed as quietly as possible, Kailani climbed in and laid beside him. She cuffed his face and brushed her thumb across his cheek.

"Mhmm." Jabari moaned in his sleep and moved around. He was a light sleeper, so he'll be waking up soon.

Kailani moved on to his lips and played with them. She grinned once she saw his eyes flutter. He looked around before his eyes landed on Kai. She grinned in his face.

"Surprise! Hi pooh."

Jabari blinked rapidly until he broke out into a big smile. He pull Kai into him and wrapped his arms around her. "Wassup baby! Ooo I missed you girl."

Kai cheesed into his chest. "I missed you more."

Jabari sighed and raised up sliding against the headboard. He stretched his legs out and pulled Kai into his lap rubbing his hands across her backside. "I know my schedule has been hectic baby and it's crazy because it's only been a month and a half. If I'm not in class, I'm either studying or sitting in hour long seminars. But I'm going to learn how to balance it. I'm kind of glad I quit my job because I'd probably be somewhere passed out by now."

"It's okay pooh, I understand. You'll learn to adjust soon. But I'm soooo proud of you. I know it's only been a couple months for us but I know how much this means to you and you're finally doing it. Dr. Jabari Amir White, MD is loading." She played with chains around his neck.

Jabari smiled and pecked her lips three times. "This weekend is all about us. Bri know you here?"

Kai nodded her head. "Yes, she's the one that suggested I come surprise you."

"Ooo I'm glad you listened because I just know you protested." Bari laughed and shook his head.

"Boy bye. You don't know me." She frowned playful and smacked his chest.

"But I do." He attacked her face and neck in kisses making her fall back on the bed with him on top of her.

"Ahhh!" Kailani laughed and squeaked.

"What you wanna do? Wanna stay in all weekend or do something?" Jabari asked Kai and they looked at each other for about three minutes before busting out laughing together.

"You already know the answer to that boy." Kai played with his eyelashes and he blinked against her finger tips.

Jabari chuckled and shook his head. "You right, how about I go get us some snacks and seafood? Then we can lay up and watch crime stories all night. That sound good to you?"

Kailani nodded her head. "Sounds like a wonderful plan Mr. White."

He shook his head and climbed out of the bed. He grabbed a pair of shorts from his dresser and slipped them on before pulling on windbreaker. Kailani set up in the middle of the bed crisscross and watched him move across the room.

"You need some money?"

Bari shook his head as he was tying his durag on. "No, I got a little extra because one of my cousins sent me their food stamp cards. So what I was going to spend on groceries, I can spend recklessly."

Kai laughed and shook her head. "Wish I got those hoes."

"Girl yo rich ass, you want shrimp, crab legs or both?" He asked while grabbing his wallet and keys.

"Shrimp."

He nodded and kissed her forehead before walking out of the room. Kai got up and followed behind him to grab her bags. She wanted to get out of her jeans. Picking up the bags, she walked back into the room and set her bookbag on the side of the dresser. Opening up her duffle, she pulled out a pair of shorts and sports bra. She changed clothes quickly and grabbed her bookbag before returning to the front. Once she found the remote, she climbed on the couch and sat crisscross. Kailani turned on some r&b for the time being and pulled out her MacBook. She slipped her Gucci frames on her face and began the process of editing pictures.

About thirty minutes later, Jabari returned with the food. Kai paused her work and slid her MacBook off her lap. She stood up pulling her shorts down in the process. She met Bari in the kitchen and washed her hands before sitting down to eat.

And that's exactly how they spent their weekend together—enjoying each other's company.
