I was out at Sam's Club getting a few things for the house. We were running low on stuff and I wanted some snacks for this study session, so I said why not come to the grocery store. I was walking throug the store just throwing things that I, Cam, and Bari liked into the buggy. Once I had all our snacks, I pushed through and started grabbing the main stuff. I bent over and grabbed two cases of core water. I grabbed a case of apple and cranberry juice. Can't forget the Gatorade.

As I made my way towards the checkout, I looked in the buggy and made sure I had everything from household to food. I pushed the buggy behind the cashier and stood in front of the register. I looked at all that shit and shook my head. Should've made Jabari come with me. I laughed as I thought about his attitude before I left the house. Kailani is giving my boy the blues. I shook my head and opened up my wallet contemplating. Cam gave me his card and I know if I don't swipe it he's going to give me a earful.

"Your total is three hundred and fifty dollars even."

I shook my head and inserted Cam's card. I punched in his pin and once I heard the beep I pulled it out putting it back into my wallet.

I grabbed the buggy and made sure I had the receipt before pushing off. As I made it to the door, I held the receipt up. The man scanned it and let me go. Walking to the parking lot. I hit the lock opening up the trunk open to Cam's range and started loading the groceries. Once I was done I reached up and pulled the door down. I pushed the buggy towards the holder. I looked up and locked eyes with this girl rushing across the parking lot.

"Hey cousin!" She said all loud and approached me. She pulled into a hug and whispered into my ear. "There's two men following me. Play along please."

I nodded and we pulled from the hug. "Hey baby! How's school? It's been a minute since I've seen you. I asked auntie about you the other day."

She smiled. "I know she told me but I never got a chance to get in contact with you. Between working and school? I be beat." She looked over her shoulder and sighed. The men was gettin in their car.

"Oh my god. Thank you so much!" She pulled me into a real hug. "If I didn't see you, I believe things would've been different. I'm Nova by the way."

I smiled. "I'm Brielle."

"How can I show my gratitude? Can I take you to lunch or buy you a drink? Something." She asked as she pulled her phone out.

Laughing lightly. I was about to speak but my phone started ringing. Looking at the contact name, I shook my head. "Hold on love." I swiped the answer bar over.

"Yes baby?" I spoke into the phone as I looked at Nova.

"Where you at? Jabari is being mean to me." I shook my head. Lawd I didn't know I had kids.

"I'm on my way pooh and tell Jabari I'm beating his ass when I get back." I heard shuffling and yelling in the background. I moved the phone away from my ear.

"Hey." I called out to Nova. "Just take my number and we can set something up." I grabbed Nova's phone and typed in my number.

"Brielle who the fuck you talking to?" I laughed as I heard the click and threw my head back once I saw him calling me on facetime. I tapped the green phone icon and held the phone up.

"How can I help you sir?" I saved my number under '🍭' and passed Nova her phone back.

He peered in the camera. "Where you at and who you talking to? I'm not asking again." I shook my head and muted him putting my attention on Nova.

"Just text me when you're ready. You be safe love and please let me know when you make it to your destination."

She nodded and smiled. "Thank you Brielle!"

I shook my head. "It's nothing. See you later."

She waved and walked away. I waited until she was in her car before getting in mine. Adjusting the seat, I looked down at my phone and busted out laughing. Cameron was mugging the camera. I took him off mute.

"Hey baby." I smiled into the camera and pulled my seatbelt across me pushing the start button.

"Gir— don't hey baby me. Who you just give your number to?" I shook my head and reversed out of the parking spot.

"I'll tell you the story once I make it home and if it makes you feel any better, it was a girl."

"Yea yea. I'm hungry."

I looked down into my lap before putting my eyes back on the road. "Yea? What you want to eat because I'm not cooking."

"You." I blushed because he said it all low. I shook my head and kept driving down the road.

"Yea? I can arrange that." I just shook my head because I'm starting to talk like Cam talking about some Yea?

"Y'all so fucking nasty!"

"Nigga! Get the hell out of our conversation. I'll see you in a minute baby." He hung up and I sent a quick text telling him to have Jabari outside in ten minutes. I saw the ice cream shop coming up in the distance so, I changed lanes and pulled through the drive thru.

"Hi! How can I help you today?" I looked at the menu. Sqinuting like hell.

"Uh, can I get three waffle cone cups. Three scoops for each and the flavors are: vanilla, strawberry and birthday cake." I recited my order and pulled out a ten dollar bill.

"I'm sorry but we're out of birthday cake."

I rolled my eyes. "Okay, I'll take three scoops of the caramel swirl."

"Okay your total is eight twenty. Pull around please."

I eased off the gas and pulled around. I rolled down my window and she passed me the cup holder. I placed it in the passenger seat and passed her the ten.

"You can keep the change love." I smiled at her and pulled off. I made it home at least fifteen minutes later. I reversed down the driveway and opened the garage. Can't pull the car to the side since it's only a small gate. So, we gotta haul everything through the front. I blew the horn because Jabari should've had his ass outside. I killed the engine and grabbed my stuff stepping out. I opened the door trying not to drop the ice cream. I kicked my shoes off and walked towards the basement door opening it.

"Jabari!" I screamed as I was walked down the stairs. I shook my head once I made it down.

"You not sleep. I swear if you don't get your ass up and go get that stuff!"

He smacked his lips and jumped up from the couch. "Ooo! You bought us ice cream?"

"Yes, now move and go get the stuff please." I walked towards the little kitchen and pulled the freezer open placing the cups on the door.

I walked towards the back and pushed the barn open and closed it behind me. I came across my baby laying in the bed with his casted arm over his eyes and his hand in his shorts. I placed my phone and keys on the dresser. I removed my shirt and pants before climbing in the bed. I straddled his lap being careful of his leg. I leaned down and repeatedly pecked his lips.

"Come on now. You not sleep pooh. I bought you ice cream." I shook my head as he placed his hand on my ass. He moved his arm way from his face and looked down at me.

"My favorite?" He inquired.

I laughed. "Yes your favorite."

"Now tell me this so call story you say you got." He held my waist as he scooted up against the headboard.

"Well I possibly made a friend, but this girl was being followed by two men and she spotted me in the parking lot. She approached me like hey cousin and pulled me into a hug. She told me in my ear what was going on and asked me to play along so I did. She wanted to show her gratitude and as we trying to figure what to do you called me. I gave her my number and told her to just text me whenever."

"Aww that was sweet of you baby and my bad for tripping." He caressed my thigh and I shook my head.

"You're fine, you ready for this study session?" I pulled at his beard and smiled at my name around his neck.

"No." He groaned. "But I know we gotta get it over with."

"Right. I'm finna put some clothes on and we can go back out before Jabari eat all the snacks."

"Oo let's hurry up."

I laughed and climbed off him jumping out the bed. I pulled on some black leggings and one of Cam's football shirts. I threw my hair into a messy bun and placed my glasses on my face. I grabbed both of our book bags and macbook chargers. I slid the barn doors open and walked out seeing Jabari sprawled out over the couch. I shook my head. "Thank you Bari."

"Anytime sis. Where's crippled?"

I hit him with a bookbag. "Stop playing with my man." I sat our stuff on the couch and table before returning back to the room.

"You need help pooh?" He looked up at me and shook his head.

"Nah, I got it mama. Thank you though."

I smiled as he made his way outta the room. I grabbed his glasses and calculator. I turned the light off and walked back out. I passed him his stuff and turned to the kitchen. I grabbed my sweet and spicy trail mix along with a water. I grabbed Cam's and Bari's stuff. I sat on the floor crisscross in front of the coffee table.

"Bari." I called out. He looked up from his phone.

"Yes?"

I grabbed Cam's index cards and shuffled them. "Who's your biology professor?"

"Abraham."

I winced. "How do you do it?"

He groaned and threw his head back. "Girl I'm so glad it's almost over. That man is hell! I tried to get in your session with Anderson but they said it was full."

I nodded my head. "They didn't lie, it's like fifty people in that lecture." I looked up at Cam as he was deep in thought looking at the screen of his mac.

"Baby." I called out. He looked up and winked causing me to smile.

"You ready?" I held the up the index cards. He nodded his head.

"We doing physics first right?"

I nodded my head. "Yes, isn't that your first final?"

He licked his lips nodding his head.

"Alright let's get it." I shuffled the cards again and made sure the answers where facing me. I flipped the first card over read and it out loud. "What's the formula for momentum?"

"Mass times velocity."

"Correct. Now what is density's formula?"

"Volume over mass."

I shook my head. "No, try again."

"Mass over volume?"

"Yes." I did the bankhead bounce and shuffled the cards again. "What's the first law?"

"A body will remain at rest or move at a constant velocity if the resultant force acting on the body is zero."

"Second law?" I looked up looking in his face and dropped my head once we made eye contact.

"If a resultant force acts on a body the body will not remain at rest or move at constant velocity, it will accelerate." He spoke with ease. Baby about to ace this final!

Five hours later. Literally, five hours later we were done studying. A hour into the study session, Jabari complained that he was hungry so we order some chinese food. A typical college student meal. It was now around ten something at night and I was curled up on the couch under Cameron fighting my sleep.

Guess who's graduating? The three musketeers! Bri, Cam, and Bari passed all of their finals and submitted their senior papers. One more step closer to graduation. Now all they had to do was get it fitted for their caps and gowns. Graduation is two weeks before Christmas. It's about to be a busy couple weeks for Jones and Hayes family.

Bri and Cam were currently in Sam's Club. Thanksgiving is three days away and Brielle wanted to get most of the grocery shopping out of the way. Cameron was in front her of on a scooter.

"Baby go towards dairy." Bri spoke out as she came up beside him. He parked the scooter and she left the buggy beside him.

Since she has to make double of everything she grabbed two gallons of milk. Four dozen of eggs, cheese, along with half and half. She placed all that in Cam's buggy and they continued throughout the store. Once Bri felt like she had everything needed for the dinner, they checked out and left out heading to the parking lot. Bri helped Cam inside the truck and placed all the groceries inside the trunk before hopping in the drivers seat.

She pressed the start button and pulled her seatbelt across her and pulled out of the parking lot. She glanced at Cam. "We gotta go to the liquor warehouse right? Speaking of liquor, you can't take no more medicine this week if you plan on drinking this weekend."

Cam grabbed her free hand bringing it to his mouth kissing it. "Yes ma'am."

Bri looked down at her vibrating phone and shook her head. Her daddy had cashapped her.

"He's a mess man." She shook her head and replied back with a heart. Cam looked over at her.

"Who?" He inquired as he scrolled through his phone. It was particularly dry because all he had was a groupchat with his teammates. He said nobody else needed his attention but Bri and his family.

"My daddy. He sent me a extra four hundred for the alcohol. Ol drunk ass." Bri took a left at the light and cruised down there road. Bobbing her head to a song from Young Dolph's new tape. About twenty minutes later they were pulling into the parking lot of the warehouse. Bri parked at the front. She threw her seatbelt off and grabbed her wallet opening it grabbed her cashapp card and ID. "I hope it don't be no issue with this fake ID, but what you want?"

Cam licked his lips and smirked. "You know what I want."

Bri shook her head and opened the door looking over her shoulder. "Damn devil."

Cameron bit his bottom lip and reached over gripping her ass. "I'm yo devil baby."

Throwing her head back in laughter, Brielle stepped out shutting the door. Pulling the door open to the warehouse, she shivered as she walked in due to the cool brisk air. She grabbed a buggy and wiped it down pushing off. She knew exactly what she needed and wanted, so it shouldn't take her long.

Bri walked through the warehouse and grabbed four bottles of Don Julio, three bottles of Dussê, one bottle of Crown Royal, two bottles of Hennessy and she made sure she had something light and sweet for Kailani. She also picked up some wine just incase Mrs. Hayes didn't want any hard liquor. Once she had everything she wanted and needed Bri made her way back to the front.

"Hi, did you find everything okay."

"Yes." Bri watched her ring the bottles up and place them into a big box. Bri picked the box up and set it in the buggy.

"Okay, your total is seven hundred and fifty dollars and sixty seven cent."

Bri smiled to herself once she didn't ask for ID. Inserting her card. She punched in her pin and removed it once she heard the beep.

"Happy holidays!"

"You too!" Bri grabbed her receipt and pushed the buggy out of the door. Cameron saw her and opened the trunk. She grabbed the box out of the buggy and hauled it to the trunk. Once it was inside and secure, she pulled the trunk closed. Opening up the drivers side door, Bri hopped in pulled her seatbelt across and pulled out of the parking spot.

"How much was it?"

Bri glanced at Cameron and shook her head. "I'm not telling you."

He smacked her thigh. "Girl stop playing with me. You going Black Friday shopping?"

Shaking her head. "Hell no, I hate Black Friday. Cyber Monday is more of my thing and that reminds me. I have to get my stuff in order for that."

"What you getting me for Christmas?" Cameron asked as he rubbed his hand up and down her thigh. Gripping it occasionally.

Bri smirked as she kept her eyes on the road. She knew he was only asking because the Playstation five preorders started this week and it was a limit. He ain't low, but Brielle stayed up until three in the morning just to preorder it. She ordered him some games along with a new headset and gaming-chair.

She laughed and shook her head. "You think you slick but I'm slicker baby."

Cameron erupted in laughter. "I don't know what you're talking about."

"Sure you don't." Bri shook her head and turned down her street. She stopped at her mail box and grabbed her mail before reversing down the driveway. She looked into the rearview mirror.

"I know you fucking lying. Oh he's about to come get all this stuff." She blew the horn as she noticed Kai's Jeep and her daddy's Jaguar. She threw the truck in park and threw her seatbelt off climbing out of the truck. Bri walked around towards Cam's side. She grabbed the crutches and helped him out.

"Girl why the hell you being ghetto blowing your horn?"

Bri looked up and saw her daddy walking down the sidewalk.

"Because didn't nobody tell me y'all had made it and you finna get all these groceries. Go ahead and open that trunk."

Dakrai walked over towards them and shook hands with Cam. "Wassup son?"

"Wassup Mr. Jones." Cam hopped down the sidewalk and made his way inside.

Dakari opened up the trunk and threw his head back. "Girl what the fuck! Tell yo baldheaded ass sisters to come help us."

Bri laughed and grabbed the box of alcohol. She hiked it up on her hip and made her way inside kicking her shoes off. She looked around and saw her mama laying down on the couch. "Hey mommy!"

Walking into the kitchen, Bri set the box of alcohol on the counter yelling before walked back outside. "Keria! Kai! Daddy said come help us!"

Once she made it back outside she grabbed two cases of pop and hauled them in the house. Keria and Kai eventually made it outside. It took them at least thirty minutes before bringing everything inside and additional twenty to put everything up.

"Brielle what the fuck! Pass me a water." Dakari blew out a breath and plopped down in a chair. Bri shook her head and walked over to fridge grabbing a core water handing it off to him.

"I know you not tired when you used to run up and down the court."

Dakari looked over at Keria and frowned. "Girl shut up before I fight you. You know I smoke weed now."

"And thats the problem." Keria smacked his head and ran towards the stairs.

"Baby." Brielle called out to Cam. He looked over at her and smiled. "Wassup mama?"

"I'm finna head upstairs to my office, you good right here or do you wanna go downstairs and lay down?"

"Girl he good right here! Take yo big headed ass on upstairs."

Balling up her face, Bri jumped at her daddy. "You so rude with yo ugly self. Come on Kai."

"Move before I smack you muffin."

"And if you smack her I'm beating yo ass." Ashley, her mama croaked out as she rose up from the couch. "Baby, I got some cranberry juice and fruit in the fridge. Can you bring it here before you go upstairs?"

"Yes ma'am." Bri nodded her head and walked back towards the the kitchen. Opening up the refrigerator, she grabbed the bottle of juice and container of fruit shutting the door with her hip. She passed the items over to her mama and bit Cameron on his jaw before making her way upstairs with Kai following behind her. Before going into her office, Bri stopped by her room and stripped out of her clothes.

Kai looked at her sister and smiled shaking her head. "Laya, you gaining weight?"

Bri looked down as she was pulling on her nike pro shorts and shrugged her shoulders. "Probably. Cam and I don't do nothing but eat."

"Girl that's happy weight!"
