The end of the week has finally rolled around and it was crunch time. Finals are finally here. One step closer to graduation. Since Cam and Bri are graduating seniors their last day of class was last week. Bri is exempt from two of her finals, so all she has to worry about is her biology final.

She would've been exempt from it because she has an A in the class, but since that's her major, she is required to take the test. Now for Cam he's exempt from one final, but his other three are required because of his major as well. He has a trigonometry, statistics, and physics final. A lot of damn numbers.

Since today was Sunday, Brielle was in the kitchen preparing dinner. Cam's parents were coming to visit and she thought why not cook. The menu of choice was fried cabbage, barbecue chicken, baked macaroni, yams and cornbread with a nice pitcher of sweet tea. She even decided to bake a homemade sock it to me cake. The food was about done, the only thing she was waiting on was the macaroni and chicken.

"Alaya!" Cameron hollered from the bedroom.

"Yes?" Bri inquired as she rushed to wash her hands. She was in the process of icing the cake when he yelled her name.

"Come here."

Bri walked from the kitchen and headed to the room. She pushed the barn doors all the way back and stepped in. Cam was sitting on hbe edge of the bed in his box briefs.

"What's wrong?" Bri stood in between his legs and wrapped her arms around his neck. Cam's hand instantly went to her ass.

"I need help putting my shorts on. I tired myself but didn't succeed. This shit is so frustrating Brielle. I hate it. I know I have you but I don't want to feel like a burden on you. Fucking irritating." He sighed dropping his head laying it on her stomach. Bri pouted and shook her head.

"Hey. Look at me." Bri placed her index finger under his chin and lifted his head. She cuffed both sides of his face and kissed his lips repeatedly causing a smile to break out across both of their faces.

Still holding his face in her hands. "First, I just wanna say that I admire how you're so in touch with your emotions. I love that you express yourself with me. You're very vocal and not all hardbody which I just love. Second, you'll never be a burden to me. Please don't ever feel like that. As long as we're together, I'll do whatever for you because within the last three and half months you have showed me what type of man you are. And you're the type of man that deserves the world. When I get that ring Im going to go a hundred times harder. You hear me?"

Cam shook his head wiping his face.

"Aww pooh. Don't cry please, you're going to make me cry and we both can't be in here crying."

Cameron chuckled and shook his head. "I'm sorry mama, I just don't know what I did to deserve you."

Bri smiled and gripped his beard giving him a nice slow passionate kiss. He pulled back with hooded eyes.

"Girl just wait. Soon as I can stand on both legs, I'm breaking your back. Now help put these shorts on before I fuck you up." He sent a hard smack to her backside.

Bri was perplexed. Cameron had her on hush mode. She shook her head and grabbed the shorts from the bed. Cam stood up and used her as support sticking his legs inside the holes of the shorts. Bri pulled them up on his waist.

"You ready to come to the front? Your parents should be here in a few." Bri asked as she stepped back and grabbed his crutches from the wall.

He nodded and grabbed the crutches sliding them under his arms. Making sure they were steady, he made his way out of the room. Bri grabbed his phone and followed behind him. Cam made it to the couch and sat down. Passing him his phone, Bri turned away and went back in the kitchen. She grabbed a oven mitten and pulled the oven door open—pulling out the pan of chicken. She set it on the counter and pulled the pan of macaroni out. She turned the oven off and turned the eyes low to warm up the food. The doorbell sounded. Bri nodded her head. Right on time she thought.

"Baby, You wanna sit at the table or you fine with eating right there?"

Cam took his eyes from the tv. "I'll move to the table."

"Okay let me go get the door." Bri rushed to the door and unlocked it pulling it open. "Hi you guys." She smiled and stepped to the side letting them walk in.

"Hey Brielle." Cam's parents spoke simultaneously. Bri shut and locked the door as they removed their shoes.

"Oo it smells good in here. Girl let me find out you know your way around the kitchen. I see why Cam doesn't come home." Dre, Cam's father spoke out as he walked through the room towards Cam. They slapped hands and Dre plopped down beside him.

Mrs. Hayes shook her head. "Excuse him."

Bri laughed and shook her head. "It's fine. He reminds of my dad. Are you guys ready to eat?"

"Yes! I am baby!" Cam yelled from the front which resulted into his mom and Brielle to shake their heads.

"You need any help?" Sasha, Cam's mom asked Bri.

Bri nodded her head. "Yes ma'am. You can help me fix the plates."

Sasha and Brielle walked into the kitchen. Bri pulled opened the cabinet and grabbed four white squared plates along with four bowls. She passed them to Mrs. Hayes and opened up another cabinet grabbing four glasses.

"I don't want to pry because Im going to respect you guys privacy. I'm not going to be that mom but how are you and my son? I know for a fact you're nothing like that imbecile so I have nothing to worry about."

Bri looked over at Sasha and smiled. "We're good honestly but what I can say is that I'm surprised at his behavior. You know if most people would have went through what he's been through, they'll treat the next person like dirt or it'll just be pure disrespect. I don't know if I said that right, but you guys raised a wonderful man. He has heart that needs to be loved correctly and I plan on doing that."

Sasha smiled and shook her head. "I understood what you were saying and thank you. You love him don't you?"

Bri looked up with wide eyes causing Sasha to chuckle. "I can see it in your eyes. You love him and that's okay. I know you may think it's too soon but love has no time frame. Now let's feed these men."

"Amari, do you want lemonade or tea?" Bri asked as she pulled the pitchers out of the refrigerator.

"I want half and half mama." Bri shook her head and filled all four cups with ice. She filled up three cups with sweet tea and made Cameron a arnold palmer in the forth one. She grabbed all four cups and took them to the table. Returning back to the kitchen.

"Mrs. Hayes, you can fix you and your husband's plate. I don't know how you guys like your plating, so I don't wanna impose."

"Girl what I tell you? Call me Ma."

Bri laughed. "Yes ma'am."

Both of them moved around the kitchen fixing their plates. Bri made sure to add a extra piece of chicken to Cam's plate. She knows her man can eat. She sat the bowls of cabbage in the middle of the plates and walked over to the table setting the plates down.

"Come help me Alaya." Bri looked over at Cam and shook her head.

"Your daddy right there."

Cam smacked his lips. "I ain't ask him, I asked you."

Bri let out a laugh and walked over to the couch. She bent down and grabbed the crutches form the floor leaning them up against the couch.

"Come on big baby." She grabbed his arm and pulled him up. He was holding on to her as she put the crutches under his arms. She took note that she needed to change his towels out. Once the crutches were steady, he made his way towards the table with his father following behind.

"Hi mommy." Sasha walked around the table and kissed his forehead. "Hey binky."

Cameron smacked his lips. "Move get away from me."

Bri covered her mouth to stifle her laugh. "Binky huh?"

"Be quiet Alaya."

Bri shook her head walking to the kitchen grabbing four forks and the bottle of hot sauce. She made sure everything was off before walking back to the table. She sat down in a chair beside Cam.

"Okay, who's saying grace?" Sasha looked around the table and Brielle spoke up.

"I will. Grab hands please." Everybody grabbed hands and bowed their heads.

Bri cleared her throat and closed her eyes. "What a blessing it is to come together today for this wonderful meal. Be present at my table, Lord, be here and everywhere adored. Bless thy people, and grant that I may feast in paradise with thee. Amen."

"Amen."

The sound of forks hitting the plate could be heard throughout the basement. Bri ate and looked around as everybody ate. She knows Cameron loves her cooking so she didn't have to worry about a remark from him.

"Girl! I don't know what you did to this cabbage but it's good." Sasha spoke as she forked a forkful.

Bri laughed. "Thank you."

Meanwhile over in Pairie View, Keria was out with her long time boyfriend Jaylen and Kailani was back in their dorm room editing pictures and doing homework. She was sitting in the middle of her bed crisscross with her MacBook Pro in her lap and iPad beside her. Kai was so into editing pictures that she didn't realize she answered someone's FaceTime call.

"Wassup love?" Her eyes went wide once she realized who was speaking. She tossed the Mac off her lap and hopped out the bed going to her mirror. She checked her face and quickly rubbing vaseline across her lips. She pulled her bonnet off and tied a scarf around her head. Once Kai felt that she was presentable, she walked back over to her bed getting back into the middle pulling the laptop back into her lap.

She mugged the camera. "What do you want Jabari?"

He smacked his lips and smiled. "You don't even have to be like that. What you doing? How was your day?"

Kai's mug broke and a small smile stretched across her face. "I was editing pictures until I was interrupted and it was very productive. I got a lot done today. How about you?"

"You'll be okay and yea? What you did do and my day was okay. I've just been preparing for finals. I'm finna head to your sister's in minute to eat and join this little study session."

Kai shook her head. Boy is always eating she said to herself. "I cleaned my room, did laundry and added some winter clothes to my closet along with a little grocery shopping. Please don't talk about her cooking. Thanksgiving break is not coming fast enough."

Jabari looked into the camera and licked his lips shaking his head. "You coming out here this weekend coming up?"

Kai paused and looked at the screen shaking her head. "No, I wasn't planning on it. Why?"

"Let me take you out on a date. I'll come out there if that's needed."

Kai looked unsure. She bit her lip and shook her head. "No."

Jabari laughed and shook his head. "Mean ass, but I see you wanna play so I'm putting the ball in your hand. Everything is on you. Communication, linking, all that. It's on you. I'm about to go, see you later gorgeous." He hung up and Kai was looking at the screen of her mac stunned. She shook her head went back to editing her pictures.

Back over in Dallas, Bri was in the kitchen cleaning up. She let Cam and his parents have a moment to themselves. Bri cut them a couple pieces of cake to take to-go and she fixed Jabari a hefty plate because she knew he'll be making his arrival soon.

"Well alright son we're going to get out of you guys hair. You take it easy now, you hear me?" Bri looked over at them and smiled as they smacked hands.

"And bink, keep her." Dre pointed over to Bri. "She's something special."

Bri smiled and shook her head. She grabbed the container of cake and held it in her hand. Walking over towards them. "I really enjoyed you guys. I can only imagine how thanksgiving is going to go."

Sasha pulled her into hug. "Thank you for welcoming us into your home and that reminds me. What would you like me to cook?"

"Cam did say you make some good chicken and dumplings. Those are my favorite. You can bring that and yourself. I invited you guys so, my family and I will handle everything. Don't worry about nothing, just come and enjoy yourselves."

She waved Bri off. "Girl I'm not stunting nothing you saying. I'm going to do more than one dish. I'll see y'all in three weeks. I love you bink and call your siblings, they're worried!"

Bri laughed and walked them out. She held the door open. "Y'all be safe! Please let us know when y'all make it." Bri shut the door and skipped over to the couch straddling Cam.

"Hey baby." She gripped his chin kissed his lips.

He smirked looking in her eyes. "Hi beautiful."

"You ready for this study session?"

Cam groaned threw his head back. "No. I wish I was exempt for my other finals. All this damn math finna make my head hurt."

Bri laughed and shook her head. "I don't see how you've made it this far. I dislike math so much."

"Me eit—." He was caught of by Jabari.

"Family! I'm home."

Cam and Bri looked at each other before shaking their heads. "Here he go."

"Bri why the fuck is yo sister so damn mean?" Jabari came around and plopped down on the couch looking defeated.

Bri turned around and sat in against Cam's chest. "What she do?"

"I asked her mean ass out on a date and she said no."

Bri busted laughing and threw her head back into Cam's chest. "I know it may not seem like it, but she likes you. She wouldn't be entertaining you if she didn't."

He smacked his lips. "Well she need her hurry up and stop playing with her mean fine ass. Anyway, where my plate?"

"The microwave and don't touch my lemonade."

"Yea yea whatever." Jabari got up from the couch and walked into the kitchen.

"Baby."

Brielle looked up in his face. "Yes?"

Cam licked his lips and bit her jaw pulling back. "Do we have to study tonight? The food and my medicine has me sleepy."

She smiled and shook her head. "We don't have to. We can do it tomorrow since our finals don't start until Wednesday."

He nodded and stuck his face in her neck. "What you want for Christmas?"

She giggled because his beard and voice was tickling her neck. "I honestly don't know. You know what I like so surprise me."

He brought his face back and bit her jaw again. "I gotchu baby, now what about your birthday? January is right around the corner. You finna be twenty-one girl!"

"I really don't know for that, but I do wanna go out of state."

Cam starting rubbing her thigh. "Yea? Where you wanna go?"

"Vegas."

Cam nodded his head. "I'll keep that in mind."

"Bri! This cake good girl! What you put in it?"

"That boy is going to eat you out of house and home." Cam looked over his shoulder and saw his bestfriend stuffing his face.

Brielle let out a light laugh. "It's fine. Once he taste Kai's cooking he will be out of my hair."

"Well she need to hurry up because the only man you need to be cooking for is me." Cam mugged Bri playful.

She erupted in laughter throwing her head back. "Boy bye."

Since they decided to do the study session tomorrow, Jabari ate and stayed for a little while before going home. Cam was fresh out the shower laying in the bed with his leg propped up and arm behind his head watching the HGTV channel. He was waiting on Bri to come out the shower so he could lay under her the way could. He missed his favorite position—in between her legs and head on her stomach.

Bri eventually came out of the bathroom. She walked into the room and took her robe off. Cameron shook his head and bite his lip. "Ooo girl!"

Bri laughed to her self. She sprayed on her deodorant and rubbed her body down in coco butter. She pulled a sports bra over her head and stepped into some boyshorts that were guaranteed to eat her ass all night. Looking over shoulder, she smiled because Cameron was staring at her. Turning back around, she shook her ass and did the butterfly affect. "Girl! Stop playing with me and get in this bed."

Bri shook her head and slid the barn like door closed. Once she turned off the light she jumped in the bed. Cameron sent a hard smack to her ass and she hissed bitting his shoulder.
