"Come on Kai! We can't be late."
Kai and Keria both finished with classes around 12 and now they were on their way to a photoshoot. A girl on their campus is about to launch a hairline and she requested for the sister duo and their services.
"Girl hush, they can't start without us. Who car we are taking?"
"Yours. It's more room."
Kai nodded her head and grabbed the keys to her Rubicon. It was a graduation gift from her parents. It was pure white with black accents. Kai asked for a lift kit so, the Jeep sat at least five inches off the ground with 34' wheels.
Kailani threw her camera bookbag across her back picking up her Louis Vuitton Neverfull and rolled her hair kit towards the door walking out. Holding the door open, Keria walked through the threshold with her makeup bags in her arms. Kai locked the door and followed behind her sister.
"I can't wait until we move off campus. These stairs ain't no hoe." Keria huffed as she was descending the stairs of their dormitory.
"Girl who you are telling. I'm tired already." Kai shook her head being careful of the stairs.
They made it downs and walked through the parking lot. Kailani hit her keypad unlocking her truck. Pulling the back of the Jeep open, Kai picked up her rolling case and slid it inside whilst Keria did the same. Opening the backdoor, Kai placed her purse and bookbag on the backseat.
"Z you want to eat now or after?" Kai hopped, literally hopped into the front seat, and started the engine. She pulled her seatbelt across as Keria hopped in doing the same.
"Later. I cannot work on a full stomach. I think I got at least eight faces to do."
"Well let's go." Since Kai was backed in, so all she had to do was pull out. She made it to the front gate and waved to the guard.
"I can't believe Brielle actually went on a date." Keria shook her head in a surprised manner.
Kai looked at her sister. "You? Bitch me! Her mean ass is finally about to give somebody a chance."
"I hope she continues seeing him. You know where you are going?"
"Girl we ten minutes into the ride and you just now asking me? What if I didn't know?"
Keria shrugged her shoulders. "We would've just been lost."
Kai laughed and switched over to the fast lane increasing her speed. Not wanting to be too late because that is unprofessional. She pressed play on her steering-wheel and Cash Shit x Megan instantly blared through her speakers. She sat up in her seat.

Kailani caught the beat and rapped the first verse. "Bitch, I'm a star, got these niggas wishin'. He says he hungry, this pussy the kitchen. Yeah, that is my dawg, he gon' sit down and listen. Call him a trick and he don't get off', hold up."
"Call him a trick and he don't get offended. He knows he giving his money to Keria. He knows it's very expensive to date me. Told him go put my name on that account. Because when I need money, I ain't tryna, hold up." Keria sat up in here seat moving to the beat.
Kailani laughed and turned the music down enough where it was still hearable. "Never did you say your name."
Keria shrugged her shoulders. "I had to. It was only right."
Kailani shook her head and switched lanes getting off on the correct exit. She took a couple of turns before pulling into the lot of a building.
"This the right place?"
Keria looked out the window and looked around. She spotted a blue Tahoe nodding her head. "Yes, that's Alannah's truck."
Kailani pulled towards the front and backed the butt of her Jeep in. She parked and killed the engine and looked over at her sister. "You ready to go make this money?"
Keria cheesed and nodded her head. "Let's do it."
Kai grabbed her keys and they both hopped out. Kai grabbed her camera bag and purse from the backseat as Keria pulled the trunk open. Adjusting the bookbag on her back, Kai walked around and grabbed her rolling kit. Making sure they had everything Kai locked the doors and walked towards the front with Keria behind her.
Walking inside they looked around and were impressed. From the outside you would not imagine the inside would look the way it does. There are several different backdrops set up along with props set in place. Each backdrop either had a color or pattern. As they were looking around, a girl approached them.
"Hey, Kailani and Za'Keria right?" The duo nodded their heads.
"Ok Hi! I'm Liyah, Alannah's cousin and her assistant, if you both will follow me that'll be great." She walked off as the sisters looked at each other rolling their eyes before following behind Liyah.
"Okay, we have a table with refreshments if you two need anything. Za'Keria here is your station and there's extra make-up if needed. Kailani you're taking the pictures and styling the hair correct?"
Kailani nodded her head. "That's what I was requested for but before I get started on the hair, I would like to set my camera up first. If that's okay?"
"Yes, that's fine. Since Alannah is going first, I'll go notify your sister that she can get started while you set up." Liyah stated and walked off.

Kailani removed her bag from her back and laid it on the floor squatting in front of it. She unzipped it and grabbed the tripod from the sides before standing up walking in front a blue back drop. Kai figured this was specifically Alannah's since it was set up like an office and it had boxes set up like inventory along with a pie chart.
Kai pressed a button on the tripod and the legs extended out. She separated them and adjusted them at least four inches apart. Walking back to the bag, she grabbed one of her cameras and turned it on playing with it. She replaced the battery with a full one and swapped the memory card for a new one. Placing the camera on the tripod, she took a couple of test photos and walked off towards the back with her rolling kit.
"Do you want color, glitter or a natural beat?"
Kailani walked into the room where her sister was prepping to start on Alannah's face.
"Glitter with the color blue." Keria nodded and began pulling out different make brands and products.
"Alannah how do you want your hair?"
"Pin curls."
"Big or small?"
"Big." Kai nodded her head opening her rolling kit grabbing what was needed. She pulled her apron over her head and set the stuff on the table. She plugged in her five in one curling wand and twisted on the biggest barrel. Kai grabbed her wide tooth comb and combed through the tresses effortlessly.
"This hair is soft and full. I like it, definitely got to order from you."
"Thank you." Kai sprayed Alannah's whole head with heat protectant.
Kai looked up at her sister. "You going to be able to do hair makeup while I do her hair?"
Keria nodded and began wiping Alannah's face with a cleansing wipe. "Yes, as long as she keeps her head steady."
Kai nodded her head as she parted the back of Alannah's head. Putting on her heat resistant gloves, Kai grabbed a parted section and wrapped it around the barrel letting it stand for a min. Pulling the barrel out, Kai pinned it with a duck clip. She repeated the steps until she was done, finishing before her sister.
"Keria, I'm about to go start on another head. Let me know when you're done."
Kai removed her air max from her feet and grabbed a pair of slides from her purse. "Liyah! Can you send in the next girl please."?
Grabbing a chair from the corner, Kai placed it in front of the double mirror and prepped her station. A small petite brown skin girl walked in with a blue satin robe on with the name of Alannah's hair line stitched across the left side.
"Hey, I'm Kai. You can have a seat right here. How do you want your hair?"
"Nadiya and Wand curls." Kai nodded and combed through hair spraying it with heat protectant. She switched out the barrels and let it heat up. Parting the hair, Kai grabbed the piece and wrapped it around the barrel and let it drop. She repeated the steps until she was finished.
"Okay Kai, I'm done."
Kai looked up at her sister and nodded her head. Alannah jumped down from the chair and switched spots with Nadiya. Kai removed the pins and ran her comb through teasingly, making the curls big and a little messy.
"All I have to do is put my heels on and I'll be ready."
Kai followed behind Alannah. Liyah helped her cousin put on heels and removed her robe revealing a white pants suit. She walked in front of the backdrop and stood in front of the camera.
Kai adjusted the camera taking a test shot. Frowning, Kai stood up from the camera. "Is there a way we can adjust the lights? The blue is reflecting your skin way too harsh."
"Liyah! Come here please." Alannah called out.
"Yes?"
"Adjust the lights until Kailani say stop."
Kailani walked back behind the camera and Liyah began flipping the switches. "Go back to three. Perfect."
"Alright Alannah. You can do whatever you want or I can direct. Whatever works for you."
After a thousand photos, multiple wardrobe changes and posing. The sister duo was tired. They were literally on their feet for six hours straight. Thank God it's Friday. Kai removed her camera and broke down her tripod while Keria was in the back packing up her makeup. Once she was finished, she walked to the front.
"Alright ladies. I thank you both for your services. Here are your checks and two complementary wigs. I look forward to doing business with you two again."
The sister duo thanked her and walked outside. Hitting the lock, Kai pulled her back open and placed everything inside.
"Bitch I'm tired!" Keria huffed.
"Bitch you? Me! I think this the longest shoot we done ever did." Kai shook her head and hopped in her truck. Pulling her phone out of her back pocket, she scanned the check and deposited in her savings account.
"I can't believe she paid us five thousand a piece." Keria was doing the same and transferred it into her savings.
"Me either. What you want to eat?" They both looked at each other and grinned.
"Seafood it is."
Kailani pulled out of the lot hitting the horn twice.
