I can't believe we won. I went in not to confident. We were outnumbered and as much as I wanna think we were prepared, we wasn't. I'm just so happy that my mate is safe, and my pack as well. Its been a a days after the war. The rest of my pack member are back. Christian and his pack will be here for a couple more days. My brother Jase will leave tomorrow morning. I walk outside, I'm not sure how I'm gonna start this speech..
I walk up to the podium. "First all I wanna thank Christian and The Blue Creek pack and my brother Jase and The White Thunder pack. Without them we probably wouldn't have stand a chance. This victory was not done alone. You guys are my trusted allied. If there's anything you need don't hesitate to ask." I said everyone cheered. I'm not good with speeches. "There will be food and drinks inside. Please feel free to help yourself. Alpha Kirean can we speak inside my office. Along with all the other alpha's with their beta and third in command."
I walk up to the office. I turn to look at a very upset Kirean. He did not stop glaring at me. I chuckle. "Let me fuckin inside! NOW. Don't piss off a pregnant wolf." Cassie yelled from the other side. 'Let her in,' I mind link my guards. Cassie walks in with Jess. "Why don't you close the door." I said annoyed. "Were waiting for the Luna." Jess says. Which instantly brighten my mood. My mate walks in and came right beside me. I just wanted to kiss her and make love to her right here.
I shook the thought out of my head. "Please have a seat." I said outloud. Everyone sat. "Why did you call my brother alpha?" Cassie blurted. "Baby. Calm down. Its not good for the baby." Noah whispered, rubbing his mate belly. She gave him a small smile. "I also want to know why you called me alpha. I'm no alpha. Just a rogue." Kirean angrily stated. I shook my head. "No, according to the books of werewolf law. Section 20. 'If a werewolf killed or defeated an alpha, that wolf becomes alpha of that pack'." I said handing Kirean the book. He read it. "What! I killed him for revenge, I don't want to be alpha. I just wanna live my life." He said.

Kirean was getting angry! his eyes were flickering black to his brown eyes. His wolf is trying to take over. Just then the phone ring. I look at Christian, knowing who'll it'll be on the line. Christian shot me a 'ignore it look'. It stop ringing. 2 seconds later it started ringing again. "Hey." My mate answers. This girl timing is impeccable. "Heeeeeey, are you guys ignoring me? Nobody has called and said anything to me about what the fuck is going on!" Christian sister, I believe her name was Sky said.
"SKYLAR! LANGUAGE!" Christian yelled out. Kirean growled at Christian. Making everyone turn to give Kirean, giving him a confused look. "Who just growled at me? Hey calm down. I'm just calling to check up on everybody. I swear nobody keeps me in the loop." Sky said defensively. I look at Kieran whos tense posture is now relax. I raised an eyebrow and smiled. "I'll call you later!" Christian yelled out.
They hung up. "Look your the blood moon alpha now. And from the looks of it you got alot of rebuilding to do. I'll help out any way I can. After all you did save my life. I owe you. If you are alpha of the blood moon pack. I'll be one of your trusted allied." I said genuinely. "same, me too, I see the way you took out 15 wolf in like 5 minutes. I need strong allied." Jase my brother said. Kirean didn't say anything.
"Kirean?" Cassie said softly. "Mom and dad always said you meant for something greater. I think this is what they were talking about. Father always says you were destined to be bigger then just a beta. I honestly thought maybe he meant you'll be a Royal guard. Not a freakin alpha." Earning Cass a chuckle from Kirean. "You'll be a great alpha!" Cassie said. "I second that!" My mate yelled out.

He nodded. "Kieran alpha of the blood moon pack." He said. Everyone cheered. We all headed downstairs to celebrate. I see my brother mingling with a she wolf. "Can we talk" i ask walking up to him. "Sure." He respond. We walk outside. It was getting dark. "thank you for helping me. Even though you didn't have too." I said with a low voice.
He laughed. I look up at him. "Bro, your my brother. Yea I was upset with you. Not because of what you think mother implanted in my head. But because you were my only sibling. We had no memories, except when your crazy father tried to kill my father." He started laughing. I don't hold you accountable for what happen to my pack then. It wasn't you. It was your father." He said taking a sip of his beer.
I look at my brother. "You are wise for being an 18 year old." I said ruffling his hair. "Hey! Good thing you didn't let me die. Mother would probably freak the fuck out." He said. I nodded. "Will you and mother ever make up." He sincerely ask. "Only time will tell." I reply.
I walk into my packhouse. I see everyone smiling and laughing. I couldn't help but smiled myself. I've came a long way. I use to be the heartless alpha of all alpha's. Not asking for help because my pride wouldn't let me. But thanks to my amazing mate, I not only have a heart that's beating again. But a brother, a bunch of trusted allied, that put their packs and their own lives to help me. I'm shi grateful and humble.
"What are you smiling about?" My beautiful mate ask walking towards me. I grab her hands "look at everyone here. They're happy. For the first time in 15 years, I'm genuinely happy. Thanks to you." I said. "I love you Kingston!" She said with tears in her eyes." I love you more then words could Express," i said kissing her forehead.

Dungeon Core? Nah, I Think I'll Just Get Super-Wealthy Instead
The cycle is simple enough. A Dungeon Core is born from a wayward soul. It seeks power and agency, and works to accumulate wealth to fuel its power, in turn using this power to accumulate further wealth. Inevitably, the mind is lost as desperation and ambition drive it to commit darker and darker acts. Shortly thereafter, the adventurers arrive to quell the core. This is a tale that has repeated itself countless times throughout history: all cores desire power. And yet, this core seems to have it backwards. It doesn't want to rule the world. It has no desire to enslave or conquer. No, this core doesn't want to be a warlord, a villain, or a tyrant. It wants to start a core-poration. After all, when money is power, what greater weapon is there than capitalism? Join a dungeon core that wastes an absurd amount of time and effort trying not to be evil on his journey to earn fat stacks against all odds. -This is a 'Dungeon Core' type fiction with LitRPG elements in it. The start may be fairly slow compared to the average. Expect roughly 2.5k per chapter. -I'm only a hobbyist writer. As such, there may be the occasional error and pacing may be poorly-handled. Constructive criticism is alway welcome. I'm just here to write stuff that makes my brain release the g o o d c h e m i c a l s. -I am trashy and I like monsterpeople so you can expect an awful lot of those as we get further in. Thank you for reading this far, and I hope you enjoy.
