"So I became the youngest alpha at 12." He looked at me... I was speechless. "Sorry, it was a boring story huh?" He said getting up. I pulled him back down, climb into his lap. Layed my head on his chest and started crying.. "are you crying?" He asked. I stared him in the eye. I cupped his cheeks in my palm. "I'm so sorry you went through that. I'm here now! And forever will be!" I said smiling. "What happen to your father? And mother?"
"I trained and trained. Once I was ready, I attacked my mother mate pack. I was gonna kill him. But I remember he spared my life. So I ask for my father instead, in the middle of ther attack. He some how got out of the cellar and escape. Why he's working with Derrick I don't know. But we had a call this earlier from a pack that I'm close with telling me... that Derrick came and ask for help on attacking my pack. His reasons was I took his mate." He said, while clenching his fist.
"What? I'm not his mate, Derrick has lost his marbles." I said getting angry. How could this douche bag go around telling people I'm his mate. "Now you know why i destroyed half of the packhouse. " my mate says. I nodded. "From the information I got from my trusted allied, he says they got about 4 other packs to agree to help him attack my pack." He said lowly.
"Well get through this." I said trying to comforting him. "How? That's 5 pack, I could probably take out 2 packs, but 5? That's enough to wipe out my whole pack!" He shouted angrily. He's right. "Not to mention, they're planning in attacking in 2 weeks. That's not enough time for me to meet up with other packs for help. Not to mention, I'm not good with asking for help." My mate said, looking defeated." With only 2 weeks left how are we gonna prepare for this war.

"Hey look at me. If there's a will there's a way. I won't let our pack get hurt." I said with confidence. Kingston looks at me. "If your thinking what I think your thinking, get that idea out of your head!" He said looking at me. "Kingston, I'm not going through this again. My old pack was killed because of me. I'm not gonna let my new pack get hurt!" I shouted getting up. I couldn't help but cry, thinking about my mother and father and my pack, dying.
Kingston pulls me into his chest. "We'll figure something out." He whispered in my ear. I felt defeated. How can I put my new pack at risk? I would never be able to go through that pain again. We both decided we weren't hungry. So we skip dinner. There was already alot on our plate.
We both walked hand in hand to the packhouse, in silence. "I'm gonna call a pack meeting tomorrow. I think everyone deserves to know exactly what's going on." My mate said. I nodded. He mind link everyone there's a mandatory pack meeting tomorrow after lunch. Kingston went to his office. I decided to head to Cassie room.
'Hey Jess can you meet me at cassie room' I mind link her. 'Okay just dropping off ally at the school. Be there in a few.' She mind link me back. I knock on Cassie door. "Come in" she shouted. I walk in and she was watching tv. "Hey" I said sitting on her bed. "Hey, why do you look so down?" She ask, turning your volume down on the tv. "I'll explain when Jess gets here" I said with sadness.
Just then we heard a knock on the door. I got up and opened it. "Gooood morning ladies," a very cheerful Jess chirp. We walk to Cassie bed. Jess layed down. "What's up with ther long faces?" Jess asked. I took a deep breath. I told them what Kingston told me.

Nobody spoke. "What's the alpha plan?" Jess ask. I shrug. "I'm not sure," i respond. "Is that why he link everyone about the meeting tomorrow?" Cassie ask. I nodded. "Is he okay with you telling us this?" Jess questioned while getting up. "Yea, he knows." I respond. "5 packs? There's gotta be something we can do, isn't there any allied that can help?" Cassie ask. "It's hard with such a late notice." Again silence.
"If the worst comes to the worst, I'm gonna just let him take me. It's my fault. Everything is my fault." I said crying. They both hug me. "No its not. It's that monster fault." Cassie said rubbing my back. "And your not going with him. Your our luna, we will never let that happen." Jess added.
The rest of the day went by quickly. Before I know it, it was ther next day, lunch time. Nobody had an appetite. Nobody meaning. Cassie, Jess, Noah, Ethan, Kingston and I. We all knew what was gonna happen after lunch.
We all sat down at ther training area. Pack members sat down chit chatting. "Can I have everyone attention." Kingston yelled out. "As your alpha i want everyone to know what's going on. As you remember a couple of weeks ago there was a fight that broke out between our pack and thr bloodmoon pack. I got new information that they will be attacking next week. With 4 other packs along side with them." After those words left Kingston mouth everyone started panicking.
"What is gonna happen?"
"How about the kids?"
"Aren't we in alliance with other pack? Will they help us?"
"Are we even prepared for this war?"
"What's gonna happen to our pack?"
Many question was thrown at Kingston. "I can't sit here and say I have everything planned out. But I can however tell you, I'm working with a couple packs that might help us." Kingston said. Chaos erupted. "Its so short notice, I'm not sure anyone is gonna help us."
"What?"
"Are we gonna die?"
"Well we become rouges?"
Kingston growled. Causing everyone to quite down. "I am your alpha, I will do everything in my power to protect my pack. We have a neighboring pack that is willing to help us with shelter. In the next week, the woman and children will be escorted there." Kingston said. "We will conquer and defend ourselves till the death." Some of the guys started cheering. I couldn't help but cry. Here I am again useless and now everyone is in danger because if me.
I decided to go home. I was not in the mood to speak to anyone. I sat down thinking about the past couple months. How Kingston and I started. How i almost got killed by rouges. How I accepted the position as the Luna. I stood up and started pacing back and forth. There's gotta be something I could do. I can't sit here sulking. Then it dawn on me. I ran to look for a piece of paper in my drawer. I kept looking through each and every drawer, until I found it. "YES!" i shouted!
I dialed the number on it. It rang and rang, i click feeling hopeless. I dialed the number again. It rang, and rang, as I'm about to hang up. I hear thr3 voice on the other end that made me smiled. "Hello, this is Skylar speaking, how can I direct your call!"
"Hey Sky, it's me.. Amina." I said.
"Oh heeeeeey, how's it going? I was wondering when you were gonna call me." She said laughing. I smiled, she's still the cheerful girl I met a month back.
"Sky, I need your help."
