《Rogue Luna》Chapter 23

Finally my mate gave in to the mate bond. We're finally mated.
"Noah I need you now, in my office" Kingston mind link me. "Alright I'll be up in a few minutes ." I got up outta bed, gave my beautiful mate a kiss and headed upstairs.
"This better be good Kingston." Its 6 a.m, I left my mate for this," i said walking in.. Kingston look's horrible. "What's wrong dude , you okay. " i asked. "She's gone, i pushed her away, she left me. " he said sadly. I've known Kingston all my life, he's been through some pretty rough shit. But never have I seen him so broken.
"What are you talking bout man, who's gone? " i questioned. "AMINA! SHE LEFT ME!" he yelled. "What no way, are your sure?" I asked. "She took her clothes, she hasn't been in the cottage for quite sometime, I could barely smell her sent! " he yelled. "Lets ask Cassie if she knows anything" i said, as he look up with hope in his eyes.
"You wait out here, I'l call you in once she's decent" i stated. He nodded his head. "Sugar, we need to talk, put some clothes on, alpha waiting on us" i told her. "Okay, what's this about" she asked. "Alpha will let you know love" i responded. "Come in alpha" i called out. "Hello, i know I'm your least favorite person right now, but we need to talk" Kingston said. Cass just rolled her eyes,
"what do you want." she said bluntly. "I need to know where Amina is," he asked sincerely. "She should be in her cottage, where else would she be" she said with an eyebrow raised up. "Well she's not!" He yelled. Making me stand in front of my mate. "What do you mean she's not," she shot back. He just stormed out of the room. "Noah what's going on"she asked me.

After telling Cassie what happened , she decided to run to ther cottage to see for herself. "No, no,no she wouldn't just leave without saying goodbye" she stated sobbing. I felt her pain. "Come here sweetheart," i said pulling her into my chest. She's gone. Her widow was open, her clothes was missing, and like Kingston said, you barely smelt her scent in ther cottage. It must've been a couple days.
The next day
Cassie is still crying, and Kingston well he's a whole different story. He's gotten colder then he already is, he's been breaking tables and wreaking up his office and house. The pack seem to notice the tension, so its been quite, all you hear is Kingston cursing and breaking stuff. Not to mention heavily drinking.
"It's all his fault , she left because of him" Cassie yelled out sobbing. At this point I don't even know what to do or say. We were lost without our Luna, and it was clear. The thing is only a few people knew that Amina was Luna. But yet the whole pack can feel the alpha pain.
Couple more days passes. Still no sign of Amina, Kingston even sent out multiple search parties to look for her, they all came back with no leads. Even our best tracker couldn't track her down. Did she left us? Did she abandon the pack? All I could do was comfort my mate, and bestfriend.
Ethan been blaming himself, saying he should've keep a better eye on the Luna, but we didn't know she would've up and leave, in a way i agree with my mate, it was sorta Kingston fault. Ever since Amina showed up he's done nothing but made her life hell. I don't know if we'll recover from this.

Macabre Mim
*Note: This story is on hiatus. I intend to pick it up again, but the mood of my life has shifted for the time being and I'm going to be working on a side project for a bit.* What would you give to live the life of your dreams? What kind of deal would you make? And when you were there, forced to stare your dreams in the eye and live them every day, how long would it be... before they broke you? Author's note: This is my first excursion outside the realm of villain fan fiction and I welcome feedback. The thing I've loved most about RRL so far is the potential for writing to be an interactive experience with excited readers. That said, also, the primary genre this is intended for is the blossoming realm of LitRPG. Namely, a slice of life tale in the manner of Grimgar or Re:Zero. So, likewise, I don't expect there will ever be a clear beginning-middle-and-end type of pattern to this story. It will likewise always be a bit more of a reactionary, exploratory novel into realms unknown - much like the 1800 travel-novel theme used by Jules Verne. Or, at least, that is my ambition.

The Programmer's Dungeon [Progression, LitRPG]
Vincent, a college student from Earth, has been transported to another world full of strange powers and fantastic monsters. Ideally, this would be the start of his journey to become a legendary hero, build an everlasting empire, and gather a personal harem. But no one said that this new world would be easy… After escaping an assassination that accidentally befell him, he was forced to become a Dungeon Master. What will an average programmer student do when he finds out that he can code the dungeon? Vanquish those savages above with his tech and savviness — along with an army of golems? “Wait, this world isn’t even medieval?!” With all the questions piling up in his head, Vincent is set to uncover all these secrets! And… conquer the world, perhaps? The hard reboot of “The Programmer’s Dungeon.” It has an almost completely different plot, cast, and storyline, so expect tons of improvement from the old one. Disclaimer: This is a softcore LitRPG story; there are stats but no levels. Also, the LitRPG element isn’t the main focus of the story itself and is more of a support. I have enabled the reader’s suggestion, and therefore, you can correct any grammar mistakes and typos you find in the story. There will definitely be some that I miss. Cheers! The cover was made by Jack0fheart, so a shout-out for him. Releasing 3 chapters per week at 12.00 GMT on Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday with at least 2000+ words. Sara's (not really) Fabulous System Armageddon, Book I: The World Ended at Rush Hour
Planet Earth, Monday, October 7th, 2019. 18:30 * * On a fateful day, during rush hour in eastern North America, Heavens and Hell crumbled and fell from their higher dimension on Earth. It came from "above" but not the same above we regard in our tridimensional Euclidean reasoning. No, it came from "above" as in from a higher dimension. Bits and pieces of those places fell on Earth from all directions, this time in tridimensional Euclidean space. Satellites, the ISS, and space debris all were wiped clean from orbit. Even those that didn't crash with the falling debris were knocked off orbit by the shockwaves. On the ground, power distribution lines were disrupted and most power facilities were left abandoned by their dead staff. Most of these had emergency shutdown routines that engaged in a few days. Some others had a survivor among their staff that followed protocol and activated their SCRAM switches, stopping the power plant. Long-distance communication disappeared the internet along with it. The world was plunged into technological darkness. Nine hundred and ninety-nine out of every thousand human beings perished immediately in the pulse of magical energy from the torn spatial boundary. Spirits were rent asunder and vanished, their fate neither salvation nor damnation, only oblivion. The criteria used for this culling was latent magic potential. It didn't discriminate against education, gender, age, or ethnic group. But of the around seven million survivors, most would meet their doom moments later. Those on moving vehicles, like the ones driving on highways suddenly had to contend with high-speed uncontrolled cars and trucks driven by corpses. Trapped in their vehicles and helpless, they became part of the long snake of crushed metal. Very few survived. Those in the air or out in the sea were alone and probably unable to control their rides. Airplanes crashed, and ships kept their course or drifted away, depending on their autopilot. Several ended their own lives in utter despair after seeing their loved ones die in front of them. Another large group would die at the hands of other survivors. Violence and aggression became the norm. Only a few sparse pockets of not-so-sane survivors managed to band together and cooperate for the sake of mutual survival. The sole survivor in a five-over-one apartment building in Georgia, a girl became the keystone to humanity's survival. Sara's fabulous System Apocalypse had just started. She has only one remark. It was anything but fabulous. * * Updates every Wednesday and Sunday.
