Mason's POV

How could Lucy do this?!?!!?!?!?! I mean, I could handle her self-obsessive ways and such, but I can't handle her sleeping around with her brother! There's no way in hell I'll ever forgive her. That goes for Brody too. How could he do that to Autumn. She's such a sweet innocent girl who's also having his baby! This is messed up. Two women are pregnant at the same time with his children! And on top of that, one of them's his adopted sister! And the other's only 16! You can't get more messed up than that. But I honestly though Lucy loved me! Was our whole relationship a lie too? You know what?! I don't even care! I'm leaving. I can't stay here....I can't stay with Lucy. When I get back to Connecticut, I'm going straight to my lawyers and filing for divorce. No matter how much she begs and pleads, I can't forgive her. I'm heading back tonight. I'll get a plane ticket when I get to the airport. I need pack my things a.s.a.p. Ughh...mine and Lucy's room is right next to Brody's...how could I not see this! They're rooms are right next to each-other...obviously something was going on!

As I was walking past HIS room, I heard some crying. Autumn? I decided to go in and see. I knocked on the door, making Autumn jump. "Autumn? Are you alright?" I asked in a aring voice. No matter how angry I was right mow, Autumn didn't deserve to hear my anger...she was a victim in this as well.

She wiped away her tears and put a fake smile on her face. "Yeah. I'm fine. Why wouldn't I be? I mean, I'm happy for you and Lucy. You're going to be a father. Congratulations." She quite obviously failed at trying to sound happy.

"Autumn, you and I, and everyone else, all know the baby's not mine. And I know you knew that they slept together." I chuckled a little. "You missed the entire thing. I knew from the very moment Lucy said she was pregnant, that the baby wasn't mine and you obviously knew too since you ran out crying. Brody confessed and I lashed out at both of them." I took a deep breath. "I'm leaving Lucy."

"What?" She asked, shocked.

"Yeah...I can't forgive her for this. Maybe you can forgive Brody, but...this is more than I can handle. Lucy said it was all her idea and Brody just agreed to do it. In my mind, he's just as much to blame."

She looked down sadly. "I never really forgave him, Mason. I just thought that it was a one time thing and he'd never do it again...that's what he said and I believed him...I still believe him. I just can't forgive him for that. Of course I trust him and still love him, but..." She trailed off.

"I understand, Autumn. It hurts. That's why I'm leaving Lucy. I can't trust her...I know she'd do it again if she could and I'm actually really tired of her being selfish and spoiled. Hmm...I guess I have more reason to leave her than I thought."

"Will I ever see you again?" She asked hopefully.

"Of course you will kiddo. I'll come visit you...and you." I answered patting her stomach.

"You know?" She asked.

"Everyone knows...Brody kinda had to after...you know."

"Right." She said, with hurt in her voice. "Its weird...me and Lucy are pregnant at the same time with Brody's baby. That's just not right." She said, shaking her head.

I hugged her to comfort her. Then I got an idea. "Hey. How about we go on a California road trip for a couple days...just to clear our minds and think about things. I need to get away from here, and by the sounds of things, you do too. It'll just be a few days...I'll bring you back here the day before Christmas. We'll have a ton of fun..just the two of us. We'll go see Hollywood, go to some beaches..." I trailed off.

"Sounds like fun. I think that's a great idea Mason. Do you think Lily and everyone else will mind if we take off for a few days?"

"Nah...I think they'll side with us. We need to get away, right?" I asked squeezing her a little. She nodded and giggled a bit. "Pack some clothes. We're leaving as soon as you're done packing."

"Alright." She replied with a small smile.

I got up to to my room to pack my things. "And who knows...maybe I'll have a change of heart and forgive her...wouldn't count on it though." I joked.

Autumn's POV

Road trip with Mason...I need it. So does he. Brody will understand right? I mean, he has put me through a lot and a couple days away from him won't hurt. I guess I should start packing. Let's see...what should I bring? Bathing suit, sun glasses, underwear, shorts, sweatpants, jeans, t-shirts, pajamas, tank tops, phone, book, and pillow. OH and shoes!

Just as I was about finished packing, there was another knock at the door. "Come in!" I called. Zac entered my room.

"Hey Autumn!" He greeted. He looked at my suitcase and then back at me. "Are you leaving?"

"Only for a few days. Me and Mason need to get away for a bit. But we'll be back before Christmas, so don't worry."

He nodded. "I think that's great Autumn. You deserve it. Mason too. So where are you guys going?" He asked curiously.

"Just a road trip around California. "

"Sounds fun."

"Yeah. Hey Zac? Could you tell Brody I'm going away for a couple of days? I don't think I want to talk to him right now. Just tell him I need to clear my head."

"Anything for you Autumn." He replied with a smile.

"Thanks Zac."

"No problem." Then he came over to hug me. I started crying again. "Everything's gonna work out Autumn. Just go on your trip and come back when you're ready. No one can blame you for wanting to leave. Ok?" I

I nodded me head.

Then Mason came back. "You ready Autumn?" He asked.

"Yep." I said wiping away my tears that were rolling down from my eyes.

"Mason, take care of Autumn. If anything happens to her, Brody will have both our heads." Zac threatened.

"We're only going away for 4 days at the most, Zac. I'll take great care of Autumn. We should get going before the traffic gets really bad."

"Right. Well, Bye Zac. See you at Christmas." I gave him a hug goodbye.

"Bye Autumn. And take good care of that baby." He said rubbing my stomach.

"I will...I don;t want to lose another baby."

"That's right...plus I'm looking forward to babysitting the little tyke in the future."

I laughed. "Alright. Let's go. See ya soon Zac." Mason said grabbing my suitcase.

"See ya Mason. And remember, don't let anything happen to her."

"Relax dude. We'll be back before you know it."

Zac rolled his eyes. "It'll seem like forever without Autumn..." He trailed off. "Plus Brody probably won't stop talking about how sorry he is and how much you mean to him."

"Just tell him I'll be back. Ok?" I said.

"Right." He agreed. "Have fun!" He waved a we walked out of the room and down the stairs. Everyone seemed to still be in the living room, except now Brody's father was yelling at him and Lucy. It was complete chaos...which is good because nobody will notice me or Mason leaving. I opened the door for Mason since he has suitcases in both hands and closed the door as gently as I could. We walked over to Mason's car and I leaned against the side of the car while Mason put the suitcases in the trunk. I looked through a window, which showed the living room where everyone was gathered around Brody and Lucy sitting on the couch. Lucy had her head buried in her hands, sitting on the opposite side of the couch form Brody. And Brody sat there with his head down, looking disappointed in himself...regretful and miserable. But at that moment when I was staring at him, he lifted his head and his eyes went straight to me, like he could feel I was watching him fom outside. He got a look of confusion on his face, but then he saw Mason putting the suitcases in the car and he widened his eyes, his expression turning to surprised, worried, and apologetic at the same time.

"The bags are in, so let go!" Mason said excitedly.

Brody stood up and walked towards the window. Everyone around him was gesturing him to sit back down, and form what I could tell, they were yelling at him to sit down. I walked around the side of the car and opened the passengers' door to get in. I paused for a moment to take another look at Brody who was still staring at me through the window. He finally moved away from the window, well..ran, and I closed the car door. Mason started the car and drove down the driveway. I looked in the mirror, back at the house to see Brody swiftly opening the door and running down the steps onto the driveway. He watched us as we drove away. The rest of the family appeared by his side, including Zac, who was telling him something...probably that I'd be gone for a few days and that I'll be back. I looked in the mirror until Brody was completely out of site.
