Brody's POV

The entire family is back together again. I missed them...I missed being home. A nd Autumn being here makes it even better. I'm so glad she's part of this family now and soon we'll be adding another member...either a baby Brody or a baby Cassandra. I can't wait to tell everyone. It'll be the best Christmas present they'll get so far.

So anyways, the family always gets together at my parent's house a couple days before Christmas for no apparent reason. I guess it's because it's the only time of year they are able to get a long amount of time off and because Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year's are the only time we get to see each other all at once. The house is a little crowded, but I don't mind. I love my family and I love being near them, but New York is a better place for me at the moment. I have my job there, my priorities, and just think...if I didn't move there 7 years ago, I would've never met Autumn.

Right now we're all gathered in the living room having game night. We're all playing picture charades and Lucy is drawing clues on the dry erase board. There's two teams. Me and Autumn are on the opposite team from Lucy and Mason....AND their team isn't doing so well. I don't even think they can tell what she's drawing...Lucy was never a good artist.

"A blanket!" My aunt Petunia, who's also on Lucy's team, shouts out.

Lucy nods her head, meaning that they're on the right track. Now she's drawing a smiley face on the blanket...

"Pig in a blanket!" Uncle Tom shouts.

Lucy shake her head no.

"A band aid!" Cousin Sheldon yells.

Lucy gives him the 'what the hell' look and we all laugh. That's really not giving her picture justice. Lucy turned to ome and gave me the 'stop laughing!' look. I wrapped my arms around Autumn's waist and his behind her, to cover up my laughs...but that made Autumn laugh even more.

"Lucy, you're the worst drawer in the world" Mason stated, while laughing. Lucy just rolled her eyes and continued drawing. Now there's hands and feet coming out of the blanket.

"A walking blanket!!!" Cousin Cecilia exclaims.

Lucy slams down the marker. "No!! It's a baby!" She finally revealed.

"Ohhh." Everyone says in realization, at once.

"You couldn't picked something easier for us to guess, Luce?" Aunt Petunia asked.

"Well technically there's more to this picture, but you'll never guess it if I draw it, Soooooo I'l just tell you." She paused and looked around at everyone, grinning ear-to-ear. Her smile was nothing compared to Autumn's though. Finally, she exclaimed happily, "I'M PREGNANT!" Everyone cheered except me, Autumn, and....Mason. Autumn didn't look too happy. She turned to me and gave me a knowing look. Damn it!

"Autumn I'm so sorry. I didn't mean for this to happen." I whispered in her ear.

All she did was shake her head and get up and walked out of the living room, not even looking back at me. I even thought I saw a tear fall from her eyes. I think I should give her some space...there's nothing I can do to fix this.

"MASON!!!" Lucy whined, happily. "Aren't you excited? Your going to be a daddy!!!" She told him, jumping up and down.

Mason had a hurt expression on his face. He looked at Lucy with an unbelievable look. "No I'm not." He said, trying to hold back his tears.

"What are you talking about? Of course you are. I"m only a few weeks pregnant. Don't you remember that night? The night we got home after Thanksgiving and I set up that romantic dinner and well....you know the rest." She reminded him, while massaging his tense shoulders.

"Oh I remember, it's just that the baby can't be mine Lucy." He replied, not looking at her and anger building up inside him.

"Babe, you're just scared. You're gonna be a great father and I-" She started, but Mason cut her off.

"I'm not the father." He stated loud and clear.

"Babe, of course you are. Who else could the father be?"

"I don't know. You tell me." Mason said angrily, abruptly standing up and facing her.

"Mason, you're scaring me." Lucy told him, with a fearful look.

"Who else did you sleep with?!" He angrily shouted.

"No one!"

"Don't lie to me!"

"I'm not!"

"You are!" He fought back. "Lucy, I'm not the father! I can't be anyone's father because I physically can't have kids!! You would know that if you stopped to listen to me for one second instead of being obsessed with yourself!"

Everybody wore the same expression on their face...shock....well, all except Mason who was burning red.

"Now TELL ME!! Who's the father?" He yelled.

Lucy just stood there, frozen in place as we all waited for the answer. Me and Lucy knew the answer to that question.

"Well?" He asked impatiently waiting.

I finally stood up and took a big breath. "I am."

Everyone turned to look at me. "What?" My Mason asked unbelievably.

"I'm the father of Lucy's baby....and Autumn's." I admitted.

"Autumn's pregnant?" My mother asked.

I nodded my head. "We were going to tell you on Christmas, but..." I trailed off.

"I knew you and Lucy had a history, but dude...how could you? I thought we were friends." Mason said fighting back tears.

"Mason, it's not his fault. I'm not gonna let him take the blame for this and ruin his relationship with Autumn. I begged Brody to sleep with me. I was still in love with him after all these years and I just needed him one more time. Mason, I love. I'm over Brody, I promise. You have to understand that Brody left me, a young girl at the time, without warning and broke my heart. I guess my emotions from back, came back and I just had to know if I was still in love with him. But I'm not. I fell in love with you when I was 16, and I still love you. I only love Brody as a brother now. Please. Forgive me. I'm so so sorry, Mason. Please." She explained emotionally, crying. She went up to Mason and caressed his face with the palm of her hand, but Mason swatted it away, making Lucy cry even more.

"Mason please. I made a stupid mistake and I regret it so much."

"No." He said firmly and started to walk off. Lucy ran to him and grabbed his arm to stop him from leaving. He pushed her away making Lucy fall on the floor.

"Mason, please don't leave me. It was a mistake. I stupid mistake. I wasn't in my right mind."

"Marrying you was a mistake." He replied through clenched teeth, and walked upstairs.

Lucy was on her knees, her hands buried into her hands, just crying. Mom went over to scold her. "Lucy what you did was unforgivable. And you too Brody. How could you do this Mason and Autumn?! You know they love you!! I thought you loved them too!"

"I do love Autumn, Mom. I love her so much that I even told her I slept with Lucy. I vouldn't take the guilt, I couldn't lie to her. I love her with all my heart, Mom. Believe me." I explained.

"Mom, don't blame him. Please. I promised I'd leave him and Autumn alone if he slept with me one last time. It was selfish of me and I deserve everything that's happening right now and more." Lucy pleaded.

"Well then Brody shouldn't have agreed! Autum's a sweet girl Brody."

"She is. She even forgave me."

"Forgave you? How could she forgive you? Where is she anyway?" Mom asked angrily.

"She went upstairs when Lucy announced that she was pregnant. Autumn knew the baby wasn't Mason's."

"And you think she forgave you? Brody, she might've said she forgives you, but her actions speak louder than words and it's clear as day she hasn't forgiven you. She's probably up there crying her eyes out! Mason too! YOU BOTH SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF YOURSELVES!" Mom yelled.

"Honey, calm down. There's nothing we can do about it now." Dad said wrapping his arms around Mom.

"I know sweety." Mom said calmly, then looked at me and Lucy giving us disappointed looks. Then she walked off, not giving us another look.

"I'm gonna go see if Autumn's alright." Zac stated, starting to go upstairs.

I place my hand on his chest, preventing him from going upstairs. "No. I will."

"Brody, if I were her, I wouldn't even want to see you right now."

Damn it. I hate it when he's right. " Fine. Go. But tell me what she says later."

Zac nodded and patted my shoulder. "Don't worry Bro. I will. And I don't think Autumn will leave you. She's not that kind of person."

"Thanks man."

Then Zac went upstairs to comfort my Autumn. I went outside to get some air. This is going to be a rough Christmas.
