"Nik" Ariana breathed into his neck one night as they lay side by side in his mansion. It was a sleepless night for them both and she softly stroked patterns on his chest with her lightly tanned fingers. Every day, Ariana marvelled in how beautiful he was, and she was so glad that she now had the ability to see it with her own eyes.

"Yes love?" he returned softly, a voice he reserved only for her as he softly stroked his fingertips up and down the length of her arm in a manner that softly lulled her into a sense of bliss.

"Why are we still here?" she questioned, finally looking up at him and his icy blue eyes clashed with her warm chocolate brown ones. He blinked deeply a few times, brow furrowing as his head tilted in obvious confusion. "Why haven't we left yet? We can go, we can go far away from here and start again. We can start over and over a hundred times. We have forever." she reminded him with a frown and he was clearly pondering it.

"I thought you would want the cure?" he returned in equal confusion.

"I don't Nik. I don't want to be human. I want to be immortal with you! And we can go far away, where you don't have any enemies. We can go right now!"

"What?" he chuckled, frowning in confusion.

"We can go, let's go. Let's go and start our lives together. Let's travel the world! I want to visit all the places you've been. I want to see all the beautiful sights. Just like you have." she smiled and his eyes scanned her face in shock for a long moment.
