Slowly, Ariana padded along the lengthy corridor, her bare feet sinking into the thick carpets that lined it. She could clearly feel the fabric of Nik's shirt chafing against her underwear as she wondered in hopes that she would be able to locate the gorgeous hybrid. Her hand trailed along the wall and her body nearly flung forward when it vanished and was instead filled with empty space, cautiously she took a step and her heart lurched when her foot fell further than anticipated. She knew where she was now, the staircase. 

When the blind doppelganger had successfully reached the safety of the ground floor, she continued to aimlessly wonder until she managed to get herself hopelessly lost, this was not exactly a mean feat considering she had little sense of direction and no sight. Relenting finally, she took a sigh, it had been her hope that she wouldn't need help with a task as mundane as finding someone but It was not to be, she put it down to the sheer size of the building. 

"Nik?" she spoke softly, not wanting to holler in case he was not too far away, she also did not want to make a fool out of herself considering he had immense hearing. Luckily, her prayers were answered almost immediately as toned arms wrapped securely around her slender waist. Ariana jumped before recognizing the feel and scent of the person behind her, nevertheless her heartbeat skyrocketed. 

"Shh my love" he soothed and his voice sounded like dripping honey, she melted easily into him in a calming manner. The soft lips of Niklaus pressed gently onto her temple and she turned to face him, hands trailing along his chest to snake around his neck. "How are you, my love?" he wondered and his hand gently reached to cup her face, the pad of his thumb drawing faint patterns on the flesh there.

"I'm good, how are you?" she returned and nuzzled her face into his chest to breathe in his scent. Niklaus wove his hand through her dark chocolate curls with a contented smile highlighting his features prominently.

"I am brilliant"

"Good" the pair stayed in silence for a moment longer, just locked in one another's embrace happily, in that moment they forgot all else and just lived in the happiness that they were together, alone. Though they knew that this moment could not last forever, they wished they could lock it away to revisit in the future. 

"I have some clothes for you to wear, then it was requested that I return you home." 

"What? No, please I want to stay" she returned and her eyes glazed over as she stared upwards vaguely in his general direction, Klaus softly took her chin in his hand and redirected her line of sight onto his face without uttering a single word.

"I know my Darling, I wish you could stay too but your sister can be very persuasive when she wants to be." he chuckled and kissed her forehead softly, then her cheek before her lips, humming gently.

"I don't want to go." she repeated again and cuddled into him tighter like a little koala bear, the hybrid released a throaty laugh and a strange noise was produced from her lips as he suddenly lifted her up, her legs instantly moving to shroud his waist in a hug of their own as he proceeded to carry her through the house, her arms wrapped round his neck tighter and her chin placed on his shoulder as her hands softly played with the curls atop his head. 

"I will see you again soon Gorgeous" he promised as he placed her gently back onto his bed and a pile of soft clothes were situated in her lap. Softly he peppered kisses on her lips before bidding her a temporary farewell to wait outside. Ariana huffed but still proceeded to change into the outfit provided, granted somewhat begrudgingly. 

After an unnecessary amount of time faffing wit buttons and zippers, she figured she had dressed herself properly into the outfit which consisted of a blouse and jeans. She never wore jeans and the feeling was uncomfortable, especially considering all of the clothes was far too big, belonging to Rebekah. 

"I am done" she stated lowly as she sat herself on the edge of the bed once more, hands clasping together in her lap. The undeniable sound of the door opening radiated through her ears along with footsteps along the carpeted floor before she heard Nik crouch to his knees. His hands moved upwards and undid the top button, and then the next, and the next and she froze.

"You did them out of line darling" he stated and pressed a kiss to her forehead before swiftly redoing them, he did not want her to feel belittled in his presence, he just wanted to help. The strong Blue gaze of Nik lingered on the milky flesh of her body for perhaps too long before he coughed and was finished.

"Thank you" she stated, not at all feeling embarrassed, she was sure that if others suddenly could not see, they would make a worse job than she had. Her slender arms once more found place around his neck and pulled him close, cuddling his face into her chest. He chuckled and his palms pressed on either side of her thighs to steady himself. When he pulled back, despite him being sat on the floor, they were close to the same height and their lips effortlessly locked, with more passion than the others. Klaus had vowed to be gentle with her, he could not find it within him to act in any other way.

After another long period of time, which was far too short for their liking, they both pulled away reluctantly and Klaus helped her to her feet before guiding her from the bedroom, No words were exchanged between the pair, both just basking in the feel of their hands clasped together. Niklaus held the door open on the car and helped her climb in, the brisk air of the morning biting her exposed arms. Having somewhat noticed her shiver, the hybrid collected a fluffy throw over from the back seat of the car and wrapped her in it, kissing her gently on the lips once more and resulting in a giggle.

Quickly, he took his position in the drivers seat and his heart dropped as they began to drive, neither wanted to leave one another's presence, unsure of when they would be able to spend time like this together again.
