Ariana had no clue what had occurred in the previous night, things had quickly gotten hairy.

The previous night

In an odd turn of events, Elijah had revealed that he had undaggered the Mikaelson siblings and they had hell to reign over Klaus for what he'd done to them. In a near instant, Kol had locked Ari in a vice hold, threatening to destroy Klaus' hybrid making blood bag. Unsure what was occurring, all Ariana could feel was a hand against her throat and the words she could here.

Seconds later, he had been thrown away from her by surprisingly, Elijah. "Brother, Ariana has nothing to do with this." he reasoned. "I think it best if you leave"

"couldn't agree more" Damon chuckled nervously, sweeping Ari into his arms and speeding away. The wind whipping against them.

Ariana now sat on the sofa in the main room of the Salvatore boarding House. The events of the previous night were being considered and Elena was arguing with Damon, wishing to go to the Mikaelsons ball.

"Absolutely not." the older brother growled and Stefan sat on the couch with a sigh beside Ariana.

"I'm old enough to make my own decisions Damon." she grumbled.

"Not if they all decide to wage war on the townspeople you aren't!" Damon retorted.

"I can defend myself" she growled and the blind twin knew that no matter what was said within the argument, Elena would do as she pleased. And for some reason, Elena wanted Ariana to be present. It was the twins belief that the girl had a plan and knew the Salvatores weakness for Ari. She was going to be the distraction for whatever Elena desired.

Later in the day, Ariana sat on her neatly made bed waiting for her sister to be ready. Caroline had happily stepped in to help the blind doppelganger prepare for the night and she was told she looked very nice.

Caroline had decided to inch slightly away from the innocent look and adorned ariana in a long light pink gown with long sleeves and a plunging neckline. It was decorated carefully with slightly darker roses and leaves. It was absolutely stunning and although she did not know what she looked like, Ari felt gorgeous in it. It was incredible for her to feel grown up. However Caroline did choose her some lower heels. Her hair was pinned back carefully her makeup neutral and her silver bracelet around her wrist.

"Time to go Ari" Elena stated from the door. Her tone implied that she was nervous. "You look beautiful."

"Thank you." she stood and felt a hand take hers. She knew then that Elena was beside her. The pair left the house and found Caroline waiting beside her car in the driveway, also dressed to impress.

"Damn girls, you're the sexiest twins I ever saw." Caroline giggled and the trio stepped into the car to head to the Mikaelsons newly completed mansion. "so, what are we expecting for tonight?" the Forbes girl queried.

"I don't have a clue. I'm just going to have a good time" Ari grinned and the blonde giggled.

"Well I'm sure we can make that happened."

Klaus adjusted his tie as he stood on the stairwell besides his siblings, they probably look powerful and gorgeous to the common people and although it made his lips twitch in a smile. He felt at overwhelming sense of nerves. He wondered if Ariana would be coming. He felt so close to her and hadn't felt like that ever before. She gave him a desire to do good. A longing to be with her that he attempted to push aside.

He noticed the Salvatore brothers entering and standing to one side and felt a sinking feeling that she would not come. Surely she would've been with them? His worries were soon devoid when the doors opened to three beautiful women. Caroline stood at the centre dressed in a wonderful blue dress.

Klaus once believed he fancied Caroline but her attitude pushed him away. He now could not see the attraction but he understood that she was still beautiful.

On her either arm were the doppelganger twins, Elena looking gorgeous in a black and gold ballgown and shawl with her hair to one side. But the one that truly caught his attention was Ariana. She was absolutely radiant, gorgeous and slightly surprisingly, incredibly sexy in a light pink gown with sheer sleeves and a plunging neckline that revealed a gorgeous body, countering her innocent attitude.

She made Klaus' legs feel hollow and he worried he'd fall, his throat became dry and he sipped his wine to steady himself and quench his thirst. In that moment, nothing mastered to him. Not his family, his hybrids or even his eternity, all that mattered was her. The beauty in the pink dress.
