Ariana walked along the pavement with her hand locked with Damon's, she had to go with him to the Mikaelsons house that night for a dinner, an attempt to achieve peace. She feared the idea of all four men sitting in one room however none would hurt her and she was attending to try and keep the peace.
"Will me being there help?" she questioned in worry. "I don't want to cause more trouble than there surely will already be."
"No, I am certain that you being there will only help. I'll take you home after we get something to drink in the grill, you can get ready and then I'll collect you at six and we'll be on our way. Don't worry, I have everything under control. I promise."
"You better. What should I wear? Are we going formal?"
"We are, but we're not going over board, smart casual, I'd say. Caroline's got it sorted. She's not too impressed with me taking you with me, she's worried you'll get hurt but at least you'll look amazing." he sighed and she giggled as they entered to mystic grill. She immediately knew it was busy due to the loud voices that met her ears.
" Stefan, just the man I wanted to bump in to." Damon spoke, directing Ariana to sit before beginning to chat with Stefan about the nights plan. Aria just sat and sipped a milkshake that matt had given her, waiting for Damon to take her home.

It was quarter to six in the evening and Ariana sat within the sitting room of the Gilbert House, waiting to be collected by Damon. Caroline had dressed her and she looked as brilliant as ever. Caroline had informed her that she wore a long sleeved dress with an almost tutu skirts, it was light pink with darker blue flowers and patterns. A ribbons circled the middle. Her hair was straightened down her back and she had a black hat but she would have to take that off inside so she wasn't sure why Caroline had bothered. Beneath her hat she had Dutch braided plaits that didn't go all the way down. It was in a half up and half down fashion.

"Little one" A voice spoke and she knew that Damon had appeared in front of her.
"Damon, don't just let yourself in." Elena stressed as she entered.
"I will if I want to."he replied ." come along Aria"
"Where are you taking my sister Damon?" the older doppelganger questioned, staring at the older Salvatore in his tuxedo as he took Ariana's hand and pulled her along behind him."
"Now that is none of your business, judgy."
"Damon!" she protested but by then, Ariana and Damon had left through the door. Ready for a date with the devil.

Along the way, she will make enemies and friends, and maybe she can one day unravel the mysteries that surround her and her mysterious powers... No matter where, she is determined to survive. She will carve her legacy into the very fabric of the universe! ----------------- I will be writing this novel in my free time during and after work, so I apologize for the shorter chapters in advance. I hope that everyone enjoys this story in some way.
8 109New God
Who said being a God was easy. If you started omniscient; omnipotent and omnipresent then it might be. However, without those powers it would be a different story entirely. This is that story. Adam is thrown into a new world with no choice and no instructions. At least he is a God, whatever that means... Lovely Royal Road readers: Imagine a tutorial with no instructions and no idea what the game was meant to be and what you are trying to achieve. All you know is that you are a God (whatever that means). So this is quite slow to start; mainly world building for me; a bit of base building by the MC and some good old minion development. I'm developing/practicing my writing and love the format of RR to get it out of my head. So hopefully it gets better with time as I get better. All feedback welcome - but please critique and tell me why you don't like it (if you don't) I'd rather a 1-star review than a 2-star(plus) rating!
8 177The Iron Forge
Jeremy and Drovic walked two different paths in life until the fates decided that their courses should meet on the way to the Iron Forge. An ancient power used by the gods to forge the world and all its creations. Few rare people know of its power, and fewer are willing to sacrifice to gain it, while others want to survive another day. Watch as these two unlikely heroes are forced together to save not just themselves but the fate of all reality. I'm only a hobbyist writer. There may be the occasional error, and pacing may be poorly-handled; let me know, and I will make corrections. I am always open to constructive criticism and will do my best to respond to any questions/comments. I'm here to write stuff that makes my brain happy and follow my dream. Thank you for reading this far comments are always welcomed, and I hope you enjoy the book. A special thank you to HWPerfidy for creating the cover art for my book.
8 123Chosen of Silver
In the lands of Neden, children with gates--birthmarks able to accept and hold the power of soulstones--are collected every five years, when they reach age fifteen to nineteen. It is nearly time for the newest cohort to be celebrated and then conscripted, and with that day looming, those whose lives are about to change wait impatiently for their destiny to arrive...or try to find a way to avoid it: Cal, a refugee from the nation of Caas, doesn’t want to go to Kellingherth to gain the powers of man, beast, or element, and he certainly doesn’t want to join the war efforts after that. The only things he’s dying for are a good drink, dance, and girl, in no particular order. His best friend Raff prefers his sweat to come from a hard day's training than an evening carousing and wishes Cal did, too. He wants to accomplish more with his life than becoming a simple palace sentry like his estranged father and will do whatever it takes to get there. And they are just two of many. When the tenuous peace of the realm is threatened by the arrival of an old enemy, these young chosen will likely be swept up in events rather than prevent them, but the future cannot be rushed or escaped, only experienced.

Not for someone who desperately wants to go home. Is the city as friendly as it looks? What lies beneath the moss-covered shadow of the world? What do scarlet butterflies whisper? Should Katherina trust strangers? And more importantly, should she trust herself? It's all up to the heroine to find out.
