It had been a few days since they had got back.

'We're going to have to go to Hercules again.'

Lisa was lying on her side, facing Achilles. He looked troubled, his grey eyes were faraway in thought.

'I know.' She replied. 'Adam said he can can help us get in.'

'I know.' He sighed, that's not what I think the problem is going to be.'

'What do you think it is?'

'Just what you were saying the other night - about killing. I don't know if that's going to solve our problem.'

'Achilles, I wasn't trying to disagree with you, I think Alma Stack has it coming.'

He turned on to his back and started at the ceiling.

'It's not that. I am going to be personally responsible for the end of that woman. What I mean is that, no matter where we go, similar things are going to happen. This is a cultural problem.'

'How do we change that though?'

'We need to show everyone what's happening.'

'How are we going to do that? Alma Stack is hardly going to confess for us.'

We don't need a confession. We just need proof.'

'We could bring a camera, film whatever happens I guess?'

'That's all we need, but we're going to have to get close enough to everything that's happening.'

'I'm sure that can be arranged.'

'Who's going to come though? You, I and Adam?'

'I have a feeling that Aster and my father are going to want to come, but honestly, I don't think we should risk it. Alison will probably want to help too?'

'Definitely.'

'We could just leave without them, prevent casualties?'

'I don't think your family is ever going to get used to you sneaking out of this house, are they?'

'I guess not.'

It was early morning, and they were sure no one has woken up yet. The two of them got dressed silently and tried to escape downstairs. Adam had been sleeping on the couch, and he was still there.

'Come on, get up.' Achilles whispered, shoving him.

Adam opened his eyes slowly. 'Good morning to you too Achilles.'

'We're going this morning.'

Adam sat up. 'Just the three of us?'

'Ye-'

'No, not a chance.'

Achilles and Lisa turned around to see Aster and Alison standing on the stairs. Aster had his arms crossed and Alison has her eyebrows raised.

'Hell, you two are rubbing off on each other not wanting to take help from anyone.' Aster remarked. 'If the two of you go by yourselves, you'll get each other killed.'

'I don't want anymore people hurt than necessary.' Achilles.

'That's a stupid philosophy. Strength in numbers.'

Later that morning, much to Lisa's and Achilles's annoyance, they were all seated around the kitchen table, planning what was going to happen.

'Okay, so there are seven of us. Three human and four incubi.' Achilles began. 'Lisa and I know the layout the best, having been there before. Lisa and I will go with Adam initially. Aster, Alison, I want you two to travel with my parents. If anything comes up on the camera, I want you to come in and try to find us. Just follow the noise, the holding cells are all underground, so you should be heading in that direction.'

'Got it.' Aster said.

Lisa spoke up and looked at Achilles's parents.

'We need you two to stay with the car. If we can try to all teleport out we will, but if any of the guys get hurt, they won't be able to get us out and we'll need an escape. Aster and I are attaching cameras to ourselves to pick up anything, as Achilles said, if anything comes up on mine, I want you to plan what you're going to need to do around that.'

'That's fine Lisa.' Ezra said.

Lisa smiled and nodded.

'This isn't going to be easy or safe, and certainly not something I would begrudge anyone for not wanting to do.' Achilles looked around the room. 'But, if you're all comfortable to go, I need you guys to realise that you might get seriously harmed.'

'We're all with you Achilles.' Aster said. 'Family sticks together.'

It was soon after when they left. Adam was driving and Lisa and Achilles were sitting together in the backseat.

'When we get up to Hercules, you guys are going to have to put up an illusion, who can you do?'

Achilles smirked. 'I can do anyone Adam, are you illusion skills not up to scratch?'

Adam sighed. 'No. Can you do random Hire an Incubus employees?'

'Yes, I'll try and make us look as menacing as possible.'

'Is Lisa being pregnant going affect it at all?'

'It actually makes it easier.'

They didn't say much after that. Lisa looked out the rear window and could see the other car in the distance.

'How long will it take us to drive?'

'Not too long. If you get tired we can stop and get some rest.'

'I think I'll be alright.'

Lisa continued to stare out the window, she felt like she had aged a few years in a few months. Everything had happened so fast and she'd been exposed to so many scary terrifying things that if you'd told her about a year ago, she would have run.

Spending time with Achilles's family made her think about her own. Her parents were far away not only physically, but also in her relationship to them. They weren't necessarily the worst parents ever but they certainly weren't the best either. She knew if they were to see how now, in this situation, they would be anything but supportive. In that way, she was glad that Achilles had let her meet his family. She often wondered if she could ever introduced him to hers. Her parents would probably just roll their eyes and say 'Oh what a very Lisa thing of you to do.'

'Adam, I have a question.' Lisa said after a while.

He looked at her in the rear view mirror and seemed surprised she'd spoken to him. 'Sure, what is it?'

'Are you actually Italian or do you just put on the accent?'

He laughed slightly. 'I lived in Italy for a long time.'

'How long?'

'About fifty years or so, I speak Italian actually.'

'Seriously?! How old are you?'

'I'm about 100 human years old.' He laughed. 'You sound surprised.'

'That's because I'm only in my twenties.' Achilles said quietly, still looking absent-minded out of the window.

'I gathered that you were quite young on account of being half human. If you don't mind me asking Achilles, are you going to-'

'Die?' Achilles cut him off. 'Yes, one day I'd assume. I don't know if I'm going to die the same way humans do, it's fun being a half breed.'

'Do you really not know?' Lisa said, slightly shocked.

'Not really, I don't know much about what I am. I mean, we're not exactly common.'

'Historically, you hear quite a lot of frightening things about half human incubi.' Adam said.

'Well historically, there's been other incubi that weren't half human that are a lot worse than I am.' Achilles snapped.

'Don't turn this into a fight please guys, we could all potentially die soon, I don't want this to be my last significant memory.' Lisa rolled her eyes and exhaled loudly.

'Sorry.' They both said in unison.

Achilles put his arm around Lisa. 'Don't talk like that, you're going to be fine.'

'What about you?'

He smiled. 'Aren't I always?'

'Hmmm.'

Lisa didn't know about that one.
