Lisa stumbled against the wardrobe. 'You're Achilles.' She breathed.

Now that he was standing in front of her, she could see that the picture she had seen of him definitely did not do him justice. He was tall, very lean and muscular from what she could see that wasn't hidden by his black t-shirt and jeans. His hair was a rich, dark brown and it fell in short waves to his angular jaw. His eyes were a grey colour, but not a dull grey, a smoky grey like the last ashes of a fire, deep and full of intrigue. She could have stared into them for days. She looked down to his mouth, where a permanent smirk seemed to play on his lips. She felt the same way she had when she looked at Debbie and Adam, her stomach clenched. Except this time, it was much, much worse.

He leaned lazily against the wall, looking at her intently. 'Yes, I am.' His voice was strange and she couldn't place his accent at all.

She bit her lip and fumbled for her phone in her back pocket. Maybe if she was discreet enough, he wouldn't notice her trying to text for help. She was wrong because he most definitely did see was she was going to do and crossed the gap between them to take the phone out of her hand and wordlessly tossed it on the bed. Lisa's eyes followed the phone as it landed on the quilt, anything that stopped her from having to look up at this god of a man who was now only inches away from her.

'Why did you come for me, I thought this wasn't your thing?' Lisa squeaked at him.

He looked at her, his silver eyes gazing hypnotically into hers. 'I guess I was bored, needed something new to set my mind to.' he said coolly with a smile.

'And that would be me?' Lisa said shakily, not sure whether she was frightened of his closeness or attracted to it.

'I suppose it would.' He said softly, smiling and raised a hand to touch her cheek. It sent tingles through her skin and she could tell that if she spent any longer around this incubus she would end up doing something sinful. The energy he was giving off was intoxicating.

'Don't touch me.' She snapped at him and was surprised when he just laughed softly.

'What, are you afraid you'll like it?' he said in a sultry voice.

Lisa didn't say anything as he moved his hand down to her lower arm, caressing it slightly. She internally cursed at her body for being so weak. He kept his eyes on her and she broke eye contact with him and pushed him away. 'You're dangerous.' she whispered.

'Mmm I suppose they would tell you that.' he said with a chuckle, 'I'm not dangerous unless I have a reason to be.'

She felt less in a trance now she was a few metres apart from him and she edged her way slowly to the bed where her suitcase was sitting open.

He noticed this and spoke again. 'Going on a vacation?'

'N..No..This is nothing, I'm just..um..nothing.' Lisa said as he raised an eyebrow at her stepping towards her.

'Why would you lie, right?' He said, looking like he didn't believe a word she was saying.

It scared her how calm he was. She was expecting a loud, crazy guy to crash into her house but instead the man she was faced with was incredibly composed and chilled out. She didn't feel completely safe nor did she trust this man but she certainly wasn't terrified like she thought she would be. Maybe that was why he was so dangerous.

'Why did you come in to my work today?' She said quietly, trying not to meet his eyes. Maybe if she could keep him talking she would be able to make her way to the door so when Adam came she would be ready.

'Curiosity I suppose, however all I found was an empty desk, very unusual for an open shop. Why were you hiding from me? I knew you were there.'

'I thought you were going to do something to hurt me.'

He eyes flashed with something, Lisa didn't know what it was but it unnerved her, and then he spoke softly 'There's only one thing I would do to you and it wouldn't be to hurt you.'

Her cheeks flushed so red she could feel heat all over her face. 'Oh.'

He winked and leaned back on to her bed and his shirt started riding up, exposing toned abs. Lisa tried not to look and she felt a flutter in her stomach at his following words. 'It's what I do best.'

Lisa closed the suitcase and walked into the front area of the apartment where the door was. Achilles walked in too, seeming a bit confused at how preoccupied she was.

'You seem very tense.'

'Hmm.'

'I know something very good easing tension.'

She was trying to act like his flirting wasn't getting to her and driving her hormones crazy. Why did the first guy who seemed remotely interested in her in ages have to be a dangerous incubus? She blanked his obvious attempts to flirt with her and continued on talking.

'So, is Achilles your real name or just a clever idea?'

He gave out a deep laugh, 'Well yes it is my real name, but it's also a clever idea. I like to think of myself as an Achilles' heel.'

'A weakness?'

'Mmm.' he agreed, looking at her through long lashes.

'That's an awfully big opinion to have of yourself.'

'Not when it's true.'

He had now moved to her sofa and had stretched himself across it. She was still very surprised by his actions, if he was as bad as Adam and Debbie had said, wouldn't he be trying to have his way with her by now?

She looked out of her window as she heard a car pull up outside the apartment complex. She saw Adam step out of the car and walk out towards the doors. Achilles shifted off the sofa to peer out the window where Lisa was.

'No..wait.' She said, placing a hand on his chest to stop him from walking forwards. he glanced down at her hand and momentarily she saw a strange expression flicker across his face before disappearing. Lisa removed her hand and he moved past her.

'Sorry..I' She began to say.

'Another incubus.....Interesting...Is that what you're trying to hide from me? Now why would you do that?' He said in a strange tone of voice that she didn't knew what emotion he was trying to convey.

Before she could say anything further there was a knock on the door. 'Lisa!' Adam called.

Achilles looked down at her with an amused smile on his face. 'Well, are we going to see what he wants?'

Lisa shivered, not making a move towards the door. She heard another knock and Achilles continued to look at her with that strange amusement on his face. She looked down and finally moved to open the door. She opened the door to see Adam standing with a worried expression on his face. 'Lisa, I heard what happened I....' he stopped as the door swung all the way open and Adam's expression changed from something like worry to confusion then anger.

'About that...' Lisa began, her voice shaking.

'Lisa get away from him!' Adam said, putting himself between her and Achilles.

'Achilles' He hissed. 'What are you playing at?'

Achilles just smiled at him, he looked like he was about to start laughing. 'And you are? I'm not playing at anything, we're just talking.' He looked over at Lisa again, and when they locked eyes again, the funny feeling in her stomach surged. 'Isn't that right?'

'Yes...' Lisa said feeling slightly hazy.

'We're leaving now Lisa.' Adam said, looking at Achilles with contempt.

'Be my guest, I'm not going to keep her here against her will, what do you think I am? Some kind of animal?' Achilles laughed condescendingly at Adam.

'Oh that's exactly what I know you are.' Adam snarled with narrowed eyes, taking Lisa by the hand.

Lisa really had expected more of a standoff but it seemed like there wasn't going to be any fighting today. Achilles continued to lean lazily against the back of the sofa, his eyes twinkling.

'Goodbye Lisa.' Achilles purred as they walked through the front door. Adam shot him a hateful look and Lisa wasn't prepared for what he said next to Adam.

His whole tone shifted and he spoke in a voice that sounded much more like someone you'd want to avoid.

'If you sleep with her I will fucking crush you.'

Lisa snapped out of what ever security she felt about him then.

Adam's car was quite warm and it was welcoming from the winter cold. Lisa sat in the passenger sea, realising she had forgotten all of her stuff.

'I..I forgot my bag.' Was the first thing she said, cutting through the silence.

'I'll get it tomorrow, he's not going to stay there. Why didn't you call Deb?'

'He took my phone off me.' Lisa sighed.

'Did he hurt you, or do anything that frightened you, are you alright?'

'He actually didn't do anything except flirt with me a little, he was actually kind of nice to be honest.'

Adam sighed. 'No he wasn't Lisa, he was just trying to get you to want him. Did anything he do make you feel strange?'

Lisa thought about her stomach. 'Well, when he got close to me, it was like I was in a trance and my stomach starting hurting when I looked into his eyes.'

'He's obviously more powerful than I thought then. He was using his powers on you. Lisa, I should have told you this before but I didn't think he would get to you so quickly. Never keep eye contact with a malevolent incubus, that's how they use their powers on you.'

'What do think he's going to do now?' Lisa asked.

'Well, I think he's going to try to contact you again.'

'Why did he say that to you Adam?'

Adam exhaled slowly, he already knew what she was referencing without asking. 'He's incredibly possessive and even though you're not, he probably already sees you as his.'

'Oh that's not good.' Lisa said thoughtfully, looking out of the car window.

'No it isn't.'

They arrived at another apartment complex on the other side of the city after a while. It was definitely more upmarket than where Lisa had lived previously and when Adam showed her the suite she was in, she was shocked at how plush it was.

'Being an incubus must pay well...' She mumbled, looking around the lavish company owned apartment.

'It has its perks.' Adam laughed. 'Well, I'll be off now, I'll be over in the morning with you things, just try to relax and get some rest.'

After he had said goodbye and left, she was alone in the huge apartment. It was decorated it mostly black and the kitchen was marble.

Lisa would never understand Hire an Incubus' fascination with marble.

After a shower and watching the huge television for a while, Lisa went to bed.

All she dreamed about that night was those grey eyes.
