"Bella, why the hell are you still awake?" Liam asked in an irritated tone, when he saw me moving back and forth in the room.

"Shush." I said him signalling with my hand, to keep quiet. "Be quiet. I have to wish Ryan."

"He is sleeping Bella. You can do it tomorrow."

"You are not serious? You do not wish him at 12 am?"

"No, because he sleeps at that time."

"You know what, you have some serious problems. You have my sympathy."

Liam rolled his eyes. I ran to him and pulled his hand. "What are you doing?" he asked confused by my action.

"Come on get up and take that chocolate too. Fast!"

"Okay. Okay slow down." Liam got up from the bed taking the chocolate bar that we bought today. I dragged him to Ryan's room. We stood in front of the door.

"Okay, just 1 minute to go." Liam rolled his eyes, I giggled.

"And it's 12. Let's go." I barged in the room. I sat beside Ryan, on the bed where he was sleeping. Tracing my fingers through his hair I said "Baby. Wake up." But of course my baby is a deep sleeper, so he didn't wake up at the first two times when I called him then at the third time, finally he tried to open his eyes. He rubbed his eyes with his hands and looked at me.

"Mommy?" he asked in confusion.

I smiled at him and took the chocolate bar from Liam "Happy Birthday Baby!"

It took a minute for Ryan to process what's going on then when he finally realised, his face lit up. He took the chocolate from my hand and said "Thank you Mommy." I kissed his cheek.

Liam then sat beside Ryan, he picked Ryan up on his lap and kissed his cheek. "Happy Birthday Champ."

Ryan kissed Liam on his cheek and replied "Thanks Dad."

"Oh My Jesus! My baby is now 6 year old." I said.

Ryan giggled.

"So tomorrow, what are we gonna do?" I asked.

Ryan looked at Liam and said "We just go to some restaurant."

"Really! Hmm... that's so boring. But since I am here, we are not gonna do that boring stuff."

A smile appeared on Ryan's face "Then?"

"Patience baby. It will be a surprise."

Ryan frowned "But-"

"No buts. Go to sleep now." I looked at Liam and said "Liam, why are you making my baby stay awake for so long. He needs some sleep. Pchh."

Liam eyed me. I giggled. He then placed Ryan back on the bed, when Ryan was comfortable to sleep, I kissed his forehead "Goodnight."

"Goodnight Mommy."

The next day, I didn't let Liam go for his work, though he tried a lot by dangerously glaring at me giving me scary looks. I was now in the kitchen making cake for dessert and also chicken. Let me tell you, he loves to eat chicken. I was busy with my work when I heard someone clearing his throat. I turned around to see it was Liam. He came near and stood beside me.

"Need some help?" He asked.

"Hell no! Last time, you destroyed my three cupcakes. I am not making that mistake again."

"Okay... you can't blame me, that was a shitty job."

I glared at him "Language Mr. Parker." Liam rolled his eyes. "By the way weren't you supposed to look after Ryan?"

"Oh that, he is happy with his teddy and cars so I thought why to disturb him."

"And you came here to disturb me."

I focussed on my work but I could feel his eyes on me. "Do you mean I am disturbing you? Oh I am so hurt Mrs. Parker." He said clutching his chest.

I smiled to myself, looking at him. He called me Mrs. Parker. "Okay. Okay stop overreacting. What do you want?"

"Want to help you or it'll be only you who will get all the credits and Ryan's kisses."

"So, The Liam Parker is jealous of me. Oh Sweet Jesus! I love this day."

He rolled his eyes, I laughed. "Okay, I'll do the vegetable chopping." Liam said, picking up the knife.

I eyed him.

"What? You still have doubts about my cooking?"

I nodded.

"You remember, that day I made the breakfast and the chocolate mousse too. You ate it happily."

I shrugged. He was going to say something but then stopped and started chopping the vegetables. I like this side of him, it's so fun to see him like this. I kept staring at him with a smile while he was focussed on chopping the vegetables. I guess he felt my gaze he turned his face to me and asked "Why are you staring at me?"

"It's nice." I replied.

"What's nice?" He asked in confusion.

"This sweet side of yours that you don't show to anyone."

"I am not sweet." He said getting angry.

"Yes you are Mr. Parker. Now come on, do it fast we have to complete everything till the evening."

"Done!" Liam exclaimed. "This looks so good. I am so good at this."

"You are so bad. You are taking all the credits for yourself." I frowned fighting him.

"Of course, I did everything. While you were just busy with that dessert cake."

Bloody liar.

I did everything, the dessert, the chicken, the pizza and the noodles too. He was just chopping the vegetables for half an hour and then he stood there doing completely nothing. The thing he did was only chopping and serving.

"I'll go and bring Ryan." With that he left leaving me shocked in the kitchen.

I went upstairs and wore a nice dress, went to take Ryan's gift. I am sure he'll love it. "BELLA." I heard Liam's voice from downstairs.

I sighed. Let me tell you this man has gone crazy today. But I love this side of his. I ran downstairs hiding the gift behind me. When I reached down I saw Liam's father, and mother both sitting on a couch with Ryan on Mom's lap and a guy too who was talking to Liam.

Who is this guy?

"Ah! Bella, you are here." Mom said making Ryan look at me. He jumped from Mom's lap and came running to me. But he stopped when he realized that I was hiding something. "Mommy what are you hiding."

Liam came forward and said "Something she thinks you'll like very much."

"Really!" he said with a happy face and I glared at Liam.

"So" I kneeled down in front of me and first gave him the car. "See."

He opened the gift and then his mouth hung open with wide eyes. "Remote control car!" he exclaimed in happiness. "Wow! This is so amazing. I wanted this for so long, this is like Batman's car."

I laughed at his reaction then I looked at Liam and smirked. "And I have one more thing."

"What? Tell me fast."

"Umm...." I pulled the next one and showed him. "So now, you can fight like Captain America."

"CAPTAIN AMERICA'S SHIELD!" he yelled and hugged me tightly "Thank you so much Mommy. I love this." He then kissed my cheek.

Ryan ran to Liam, and showed him the shield "Dad see, this is Captain America's Shield, now I can fight like him." before Liam can say anything he ran to Liam's Mom and Dad and showed them "See Granny, Captain America's shield."

While Ryan was busy showing his gift to everyone in the house Liam came and stood beside me "I have never seen him so happy."

I glanced at Liam, to see him looking at Ryan and smiling. "I am glad, I can make two frowning people happy."

"Two?" he asked turning to me.

"Yep. You and him."

Liam smiled and said "Thank you Bella."

"Okay... that's it. You don't have to be so formal." I then called Ryan "Baby come fast we have to cut the cake."

Ryan nodded obediently and came running to me, I gave him the knife and he was about to cut the cake when I shouted "STOP!" Everyone looked at me in confusion. I said "Baby, first make a wish then blow the candles, but a secret one don't tell anyone."

Ryan nodded smiling, then closed his eyes and made a wish then he blew the candles and cut the cake. He gave me a piece I ate it and applied some cream on his cheek "Happy Birthday."

"Mommy!" he said with a frown I giggled. He then went to Liam and gave him the cake, Liam kissed Ryan on his right cheek, where there was no cream. Then he too applied some cream on Ryan's right cheek. "Dad you too."

Aww my baby.

"Why should only Mom have all the fun?"

"This is not funny Dad." Liam laughed looking at the irritated Ryan.

Then the tattoo guy came to me and said "Hey, we didn't meet before but I am Liam's friend Lucas."

"Okay... umm... Bella." I said with a smile.

"Yeah. I know quiet familiar with that name." I furrowed my brows listening to him. He looked around when he saw no one he came closer and said in a low voice "You know I was the one who did research on you."

"Research on me?"

"Yep. That's because I am the only hope of Liam Parker."

"Only hope?"

"Mhmm. You know his PI."

"Okay... so you were the one because of who, he got to know all about me. Like everything, by the way I have to agree, that you are quite sincere. Because you gave him all the fucking information about me." I said glaring at him.

"Jesus Christ! Don't give me those looks. I am so scared."

"Not funny."

He laughed. At that time Liam came and stood beside me "Bella, you met Lucas?"

"Yes. And he told me about the research thing too."

Liam glared at Lucas. I laughed.

"You love tattoos. Don't you?" I asked scanning Lucas.

"Indeed." A smile then plastered on his face "Do you think I look hot?"

Liam rolled his eyes. I said "Wait. Stand straight, chin up. Hands on your pockets." Lucas got all serious and did what I told him.

"Now?" he asked.

I scanned him from top to bottom carefully. "Super hot and sexy."

"Really!"

I nodded.

"See man! I told you I am sexy but you always deny that."

"He is just jealous of your good looks." I whispered in Lucas's ears but enough for Liam to hear it. Liam glared at me and I giggled.

"Oh come on man! You don't have to be jealous, I'll train you sometime, so that you can maintain a look like me."

Liam stared at Lucas blankly, then sighed and said "You know Bella, you should also join the club."

"Umm... what club?"

"The Crazy People club. And the head of that club is Lucas Austin."

"Jealousy is not good for health honey." Lucas smirked at Liam.

"Jealous, my ass."

"Language Mr. Parker." I said, trying my best to control my laughter. Liam looked at me with a complete irritated look then went away. Me and Lucas, we burst into laughter.

We danced, that night, 'we' meaning Mom, Dad, me, Ryan and Lucas. Liam just sat on the couch, watching us. Liam was right, I too have not seen Ryan so happy. He was jumping and dancing. Then the food too, he said he loved it. And here comes the Great Liam Parker, he took all the credits, I was so angry at him. He was just smirking all the time. I wish I could punch that perfectly sculptured face of his. This lead to one conclusion that he loves to irritate me.

Well, I am happy. Apart from everything, my baby enjoyed himself. I am happy I could make this day special for him. And did I tell you guys that Ryan loved that shield so much that he didn't let anyone touch it even once. Not even Liam. He was acting all like Captain America, roaming all over the house with that shield.

It was now time for Mom and Dad to leave. When they were about to leave Mom pulled me to one side and said "Bella, thank you so much."

"For what?" I asked.

"For saving two lives. You know, Ryan, he was always alone and always sad. Liam thought that keeping him alone is the right thing to do to protect him. He was successful in protecting Ryan but not making him happy. Today seeing Ryan like this, I feel so happy."

"It's really nothing. You don't have to thank me."

"Yes I do have to. Bella, you didn't only save Ryan from the sadness but also Liam."

"Liam?"

She smiled "Yes Liam. This Liam is different. So different. With you he becomes the Liam that he was 2 years ago."

"2 years ago? What are you talking about?"

"Bella, Liam lost the person he loved the most 2 years ago. Since that day he became like this, cruel. People thinks he has no heart. He is cold towards everyone."

I was shocked by what she just said "Whom did he lose? And h-how?"

"His sister. Her name was Amelia. He loved her more than he loved anyone but that one night changed his life."

"W-What happened?"

"Both of them were returning from a party and both were drunk. Liam was a little sober though but she wanted to drive, so she took the car keys from Liam forcefully. Liam was sitting beside her but then a car came in front and crashed with them. Amelia, s-she died in the spot. L-Liam survived but he had a lot of wounds."

Mom was crying by now. I kept one hand on her shoulder. "I-I am sorry."

"From that day, Liam became completely heartless. He still blames himself for her death. I have tried so many times to tell him that it was not his fault but he never listens to me."

She paused for sometime then wiped her tears. "Bella, I know I can't bring back my daughter but I don't want my son to suffer. He forgot to smile, he didn't go to any parties after that day. He worked hard for the company but the thing that he used, to reduce the pain was alcohol. He thinks that reduces his pain."

"B-But it's wrong. It's so wrong. It's not a solution."

"I know but he doesn't. You know, this is the first time I saw him smile after so many years and the reason is you. Don't ever leave him Bella. Don't."

I nodded. "I won't."

I hugged her, I could feel tears falling down my cheeks.
