《The Nerd who cried Bad Boy》sixty

I looked at myself in the mirror. I had tied my dark hair that had grown a few inches in a high ponytail and let two long, curly strands fall down next to the sides of my face.
The makeup on my face was perfect because a professional makeup artist had done my face. I wore a pale pink coloured mid-dress, that had little pretty flowers on the side of it.
Aunt had allowed me to wear sneakers with my dress so I wore pale pink sneakers then had my hair tied up with a pale pink scrunchie.
My aunt even bought me eye glasses which were pale pink so it could match my outfit.
The theme of the wedding was baby pink and white. Stanley and Nora had both decided on the theme instantly. I had hoped Nora would pick me as one of her bridesmaids or, even better, her maid of honour but she picked mom.
It was fine, especially when she chose Alyson to be her flower girl. I didn't mind at all.
I picked up my phone and replied to a message that some person named 'My love' which was probably Marcus sent me:
It had said and I had replied:
Morning my love, how are you?
If he wanted to play 'Let me name my girlfriend some random nicknames', I was going to play that too. Expect, just changing the girlfriend part to boyfriend.
I blushed.
"Alyssa, come back here!" I heard my aunt shout.
"Coming Nora!" I replied back.
I switched off my phone and went to my aunt's room and saw aunt staring in front of the mirror, staring at herself. She wore a beautiful white wedding dress that made her look like Cinderella.
Her blond hair tied up into a neat bun and the makeup artist was busy gently brushing the blush on Nora's cheeks. My mom and the five other woman who were Nora's bridesmaids stood aside, looking at themselves to see if they looked okay.
The bridesmaids were wearing a short dress that were pale pink with a white belt and heels. I greeted them and smiled at my mother when we made eye contact.
Aunt Nora turned around and looked at us with the most beautiful smile on her face. "How do I look?" she asked.
"I-- I'm-- I'm out of words," my mother stammered, clearly speechless. Everyone chuckled and I smiled then I saw Aunt Nora tearing up. Mom walked up to her and started fanning aunt's face.
"Darling, don't cry," mom said as she fanned aunt's face.
"Yeah, Nora, you'll ruin your makeup," I added. "You don't want the makeup artist taking another hour on your makeup."
"Okay, okay. Just stop fanning me, Sydney, your nails are close to claws," Nora said and I chuckled, then looking at her own nails.

"I had always waited for this day to come," Nora told us. "I can't wait to become Mrs. Malone. Nora Malone."
"And the weather is perfect for today," One of the bridesmaids said. "Unlike yesterday--" her phone started ringing and she took it out, answering it. "Yeah... yeah this is her.... yes, Nora's here... really... oh... don't you have like a plan B--... oh okay. Bye."
"What? What is it?" Nora asked.
"Uhm, t-- the cake collapsed to the side," she stammered.
"What?" Everyone exclaimed.
"It can be fixed right?" I asked.
She replied,"The cakemaker says that it broke and it was too fragile so it fell to the floor while they were moving it.
Nora started fanning her face,"Can't she make another cake? The wedding starts in an hour?"
"I can make it," Mom offered.
Nora shook her head,"I need a professional cake made. Not some play cake or something. Oh my God, what am I going to do?"
"Nora, it's okay. I'll ask for another replacement," Mom said and took out her phone. "I'll be back."
Alyson entered the room. She wore a the same outfit as mine but hers was all white. She tugged Nora's dress and Nora looked down at Alyson. "Yes, sweet Heart," she said.
"Uncle Stanley sent me to give you this," she said and gave Aunt Nora a small velvet box. Everyone cooed thinking it was adorable for Alyson to do that.
Alyson smirked and skipped back to me. "You look adorable, Alyson," I commented.
"Thank you." she smiled. "You don't look too bad yourself."
My seven year old sister got straight A's in school and won the spelling bee against many schools. That's why she's so clever... and because I teach her everything and help her with her homework when she arrives home.
Aunt Nora opened the box and saw a beautiful, diamond necklace. She pulled it out and admired the jewelry. "Oh my God, it's so beautiful," she commented.
"Do you, Stanley Malone, take Nora Collins as your lawful wedded wife?" the priest asked.
"I do," Stanley answered without hesitation.
"And do you, Nora Collins, take Stanley Malone as your lawful wedded husband?"
Aunt Nora, almost in tears, nodded. She bit her lip before answering,"I do."
I held Alyson's hand tightly and smiled happily, staring at aunt Nora and Stanley holding hands. Staring into eachother's eyes while they both smiled.
The priest smiled,"I now pronounce you husband and wife. You may kiss the bride."
Stanley grinned and wrapped his arms around Nora as Nora wrapped her arms around his neck and they kissed.
Everyone clapped and cheered for them. Alyson and I stood up and clapped for them, Alyson started throwing pink rose petals at aunt and my uncle-in-law. Pictures were taken and Stanley and Nora pulled away and murmured some words to eachother. They looked at everyone and waved at us.

The rest of the day went great, funny speeches were said and some touching ones too. Alyson also said her speech, surprising mostly everyone by using big words in her sentence. I also said my speech, though standing beside Alyson because I was a bit nevrous.
We all headed to the reception. It was absolutely beautiful, and somehow in my mind, I couldn't wait to married. The decorations were beautiful and aunt had been so proud, she was almost in tears.
Alyson and I sat next to eachother and ate our food as we watched as Stanley and Nora danced gracefully to their song. Mom and dad joined the couple, dancing together and I sighed happily. Happy for aunt Nora and uncle Stanley.
"Blake said one day he was going to propose to me," she said and I looked at her, wide-eyed.
Alyson shrugged,"Did you know, I got nineteen love letters during Valentine's Day?"
"Have you two kissed before?" I asked, surprised by Blake's words to Alyson.
"Well... he has kissed my cheek during Valentine's Day because well he was my Valentine. We're just friends. Don't worry," Alyson assured and I nodded though my eyes were still wide open in surprise.
A band that consisted of a girl and two boys, that I wasn't familiar with, came over and performed for us. Singing a few songs, us dancing and singing alone and then they left after a few pictures where taken.
When all the ladies all gathered together to catch the bunch of flowers from Nora, everyone was excited. Aunt Nora stood on the stairs, her back turned to us. "Are you ready, ladies?" Nora asked. Multiple answers were said which mostly were: Yes!
"Okay, three, two, one!" Nora threw the bunch of flowers behind her and turned around as fast as she could. Some lady caught it and she screamed happily while the people clapped for her.
When it was time for removing the garter, Nora was blushing the whole time. "Stanley, don't," she murmured while Stanley removed her garter. The men whistled and Stanley got up with the garter in his hand.
He threw the garter and some random dude caught, then we clapped for him.
It was late and Alyson had fell asleep on my lap. I picked her up and carried up, holding her with my arms crossed under her. I walked to my mother, who was having the time of her life. She looked at me when I called her name. "Yes, sweet Heart?"
"Alyson is pretty tired, can I take her home?" I asked.
"Of course, sweetie. Oh, and Grandma Edna is sleeping over okay? She was also here during the wedding but she wanted to go back home but she lived too far so I allowed her to sleep over," Mom said and sipped her wine, she stood up.
"Okay, mom, thanks. I'll see you later dad." I smiled and pecked my dad's cheek, whom was sitting beside her.
"Okay, Alyssa," he said and Mom left us. We got in her car and she drove us back home. When she dropped us off, she kissed us goodbye and she left. When I entered the house, I saw Grandma Edna sitting by the fireplace and knitting a sweater.
"Grandma!" I greeted and hugged her after placing Alyson on the couch.
"My darling," she said and pecked my cheeks.
"Are you eating healthily, Edna?" I asked.
"I'm sticking to the list you gave me, sweet Heart," she replied and I kissed her cheeks again.
"I busy knitting a new sweater for you and Alyson, and I brought some cupcakes for you, my angel," she said.
"Thank you, Grandma. Oh, and Alyson is sleeping, please look after her while I go change," I said and went up the stairs. I walked in my room and I immediately and changed into my pajamas.
I went back down stairs and made some hot coco for me and Grandma, adding three cupcakes on the tray for myself. I returned back to the room and placed the tray on the carpet and I sat down beside and Grandma. Suddenly, at the time, Alyson had woken up and asked me to make her hot coco.
I groaned but made her a cup anyway.
"Wait... you have to eat my soup before you eat the cupcakes. It took me time to make you that soup."
Alyson and I looked at eachother. Grandma Edna's soups were tasteless or sometimes had too much salt. Once we tried to fix her soup but she was a bit upset because she took it as we didn't like her soup. She loved making soup for everyone though.
"I'm not hungry," Alyson said and I looked at her. Grandma Edna nodded sadly and I sighed.
"Okay, gran, we're not that hungry but we're going to still drink your soup," I said and I heard Alyson groan behind.
"But we ate enough at the wedding," Alyson said and I nudged her. Alyson sighed and we decided we were going to eat her soup.
We spent the night talking about our favourite memories and telling eachother funny stories while we drank Grandma's soup.
Alyson and I had to keep our smiles on everytime we swallowed the soup. But it was worth it for the smile on Edna's face.

Modern Magic
A Modern Magician BookI looked up at the crooked holo sign while the perfectly bred woman read from a paper, a plastic smile glued to her face.'Welcome to The City,' she said in a fake voice. 'Once formerly known as New York, The City is a place filled with ancient and modern wonders. Remember, if you see any magicians please report to the nearest police station or Black Hand officer.'I smiled at the sign and then raised a single finger. No, not the middle one. A blue misty light spun from my finger and into the holo device. The message quickly changed from the fake woman to one of my own.'Welcome to The City,' the woman read, her hair now dyed a fuchsia. Her eyelids were a dark blue and her bottom lip and right eyebrow were pierced. 'A special message from Hecate, queen of magic.' The woman looked up at me, a smirk playing on her lips. 'Welcome to my city.'
