《The Nerd who cried Bad Boy》forty two

My eyes snapped open and I saw Aaliyah's face.
She's beautiful even when she's asleep.
I thought and I smiled when she started snoring lightly. I sat upright and clasped my hands over my head. I arched my back and yawned, facing away from the bright rays of sunlight shining from the window.
I got off bed and woke Aaliyah up. She moaned and opened her eyes, "Wha-- oh... Alyssa. What are you doing in my house?" Aaliyah asked as she sat upright.
"Uh, this is my house and don't you want to wake up and take a shower?" I asked.
"Yeah, yeah." she yawned. "I'll do that at my house."
"Okay, I'll see you at school then," I said and hugged her. I walked into the hallway, remembering that six other guys sleeping over in my house including Marcus.
I quietly went to the bathroom and shut the door. I stared at myself in the mirror and then smiled before taking my clothes off and walking into the shower. After I was done, I stepped out and took a white towel and wrapped it around my body.
I silently tip-toed into my room, making sure not to wake anybody up. I had an idea to wake them up. I shut the door and then I realised Marcus was still sleeping in my room. I could see his hair and his eyes peaking out the covers.
I let out a sigh and walked to my closet. I quickly chose to wear a blue hoodie and blue sneakers. I wore my undergarments, glancing at Marcus while I dressed. Dressing into my hoodie, I heard Marcus say, "Are you done, Baby cheeks?"
I got a fright though I smiled because he waited until I was done dressing, "Yes, Marcus."
Marcus sighed and sat upright, rubbing his eyes then ran his fingers through his hair. He yawned, "Morning Baby cheeks." he opened up his arms so I could hug him.
I tied my laces together and stood up and walked to Marcus. I hugged his torso and pecked his lips,"Morning. How'd you sleep?" I sat on his lap.
"I needed you next to me," he replied, emphasising the word 'needed'. "It took me an hour to sleep because you were on my mind," he said with an adorable smile on his face. My cheeks heated as I lightly pinched his cheek and kissed his forehead.
"You can take a shower here if you want. I'll get a job to pay the water bill," I joked. Marcus chuckled and covered his face with his hands. He looked really tired.
"Afterschool, we'll go to the mall and buy unicorn onesies for you guys. Though don't tell the guys 'cause they won't want to come with. And there's a performance outside the mall which I want to go see. This hot guy will be singing..." I trailed off when Marcus narrowed his eyes at me when I had said 'hot guy'.
"I'm hot." he smiled. "And you think I can sing," Marcus said.

"Of course you are and of course you can," I said and stood up. "Now if you'll excuse me--"
"No Baby cheeks, you do not say that other guys look hot when I'm here, okay?" Marcus said.
I kissed his cheek,"Okay Marcus."
"You're lucky I'm not planning on kidnapping him and leaving him in the middle of nowhere," Marcus murmured and stood up too. I left my room and went to the kitchen. I took a big pot and a wooden spoon and I descended the stairs.
Marcus just stared at me with a look of amusement on his face. He leaned against the wall and crossed his arms over his chest. I smiled and looked at him,"I don't know why but I always wanted to do this."
I hit the wooden spoon on the base of the pot and it was pretty loud. I looked at Marcus and he chuckled, "I'm going to take a shower." he pecked my cheek and left and got in the bathroom.
I repeatedly hit the wooden spoon on the pot as I screamed,"Rise and shine, ladies! Come on!" I walked inside Alyson's room where Erik and Cameron were. I hit it louder and brought the pot near Erik's face. His eyes snapped open and he groaned but sat upright.
Cameron was sleeping on the right side of the bed. When I looked at him, his eyes were already open. They both looked at me simultaneously,"What the fu--"
"Good morning." I smiled sheepishly then turned around and left the room. Next was the guest bedroom where Ian was. I quietly snuck in the room and beat the shit out of the pot. Ian groaned and brushed his hair out of his face and his light green eyes met mine.
"Jesus, Alyssa." he groaned. "Alyssa!" he exclaimed when I didn't stop. He groaned and rubbed his face with his hand.
"Wake up!" I sang.
"I'm up." he sat upright. I chuckled and left the room, descending stairs I saw Chase laying on the carpet while Xavier was on the couch. Xavier was awake and on his phone.
I crept up behind Xavier and when I was about to hit the pot, Xavier said,
"Don't even think about, Alyssa. Or I'll burn your unicorn onesie."
I gasped,"How mean. Will you make us breakfast?" I asked Xavier.
"Yeah," he said and got off the couch. "What do you want to eat?"
"Blueberry pancakes with strawberries," I replied. Xavier nodded and went to the kitchen.
"Okay Alyssa, if there's someone bullying you or wanting to steal your lunch... you call me. Here's your lunch." Chase handed me the lunch bag and I eyed him.
"Why are you acting like my mom, dude?" I asked with smile on my face.
"What do you mean?" Chase asked in confusion as he took out a cigarette from his pocket.
"Whatever." I rolled my eyes and got out of the car and stood next to Marcus. "I want all the guys to be here afterschool to pick me up. I have something special planned for us."

"Uhm okay." Cameron forced a smile. "We'll see you guys."
"Love you all." I waved as they drove away. I turned around and noticed all the students were staring at me. Everyone in sight stared at me in shock. Some even had their phones in hand, taking pictures.
Marcus wrapped his arm around my shoulder and pulled me against him. His hand snuck in my hoodie and he held my bra strap, playing with it as we walked to my locker. My body heated at the contact and when we arrived to my locker, he pulled his hand away and held my backpack as I packed the books I needed.
"I can't wait for Wesley to sing tonight," I said.
"Who is this Wesley guy?" Marcus looked at me, I could see a sudden flash of jealously.
"The dude who's singing at a concert by the mall. He known for having the most beautiful voice," I said dreamily but then I saw Marcus look at me again. "Kidding." I smiled.
"I swear you'd leave me anytime for that Weak shit guy," he murmured.
"Wesley," I emphasised.
"Who's your boyfriend?" he asked, drawing closer to me.
"You," I replied, rolling my eyes just to annoy Marcus.
"Well then unless you don't want me to strangle Weak shit. I'd suggest you keep quiet about him." Marcus shut my locker door for me.
I saw Bree walk past us, not glancing at Marcus us at all. "Hey Bree," I called. She still had her pink hair and she wore pink sneakers, black crop top and black high-waisted shorts.
She looked at me,"Hey Alyssa. Hey Marcus." She waved at us and Marcus nodded at her as I waved back.
"She's nice," Marcus commented and the bell rang.
"I think pink hair did the trick," I joked and chuckled. "I'll see you later, Marcus."
I stood on the tip of my toes and wrapped my arms around his neck as he wrapped my arms around my waist. He kissed the top of my head, "Bye Baby cheeks."
I ignored the stares and walked away from Marcus and went to my class. Sam and Kendall didn't attend school today and it was boring without them. I hated that I didn't have classes with Marcus but maybe it was a good thing. When the teacher gave us piles of homework, I tried to finish them all during lunch in the library. Aaliyah was with me, helping.
The bell rang for the last time and everyone sprung from their seats and left. I was excited to leave too, to see the boys including Marcus. I exited the school building with Marcus, Aaliyah and the gang waiting for me.
"Hey guys," I said and hugged them all.
"How was school?" Chase asked.
"Not bad..." I replied and saw Sam and Kendall standing with them.
My eyes widened,"Where were you guys?"
"Kendall wouldn't wake up," Sam replied blankly.
"Alyssa, you said you had something planned for us," Chase said.
"Yeah... is it food?" Cameron asked.
"It involves food... and me buying you new clothes," I replied with a evil smirk that I probably failed to do.
Marcus rolled his eyes, already knowing where this was going. "Aww sweet! I want a new leather jacket," Cameron said excitedly. They had brought two cars, where five people would go in each.
Sam, Kendall, Aaliyah, Marcus and I got in Marcus' car while the gang got in the other car. Marcus drove to the mall with the car following us. We parked outside where a stage was being set up and where Wesley would be performing.
Wesley was just a guy who was interested in boosting his singing career. He was a nice singer but personally I thought that Marcus was a better singer. He was good-looking, not going go lie but so where Marcus' gang.
And so was Marcus.
There were a few people sitting in front of stage, taking selfies, videos and waiting for Wesley. We entered the mall and went to the clothing store, Cameron and Chase were excited. Erik was on his phone while everyone else was looking at clothes.
I spotted the onesies at the end of the store and I grinned,"Found them."
I held Marcus' hand and Kendall's while I pulled them to the end of the store. Kendall groaned when he saw the onesies and Marcus chuckled.
Aaliyah laughed and the boys immediately didn't agree when they saw onesies. "Please guys," I begged. "They're right here." I pointed at the onesies.
"And we don't care," Chase stated.
"We don't want to wear them," Ian replied, running his fingers through his hair.
"What can I do for you guys to wear them?" I asked.
"Nothing," Cameron replied.
"Like Ian said, we don't want to wear them," Xavier stated.
"Listen here," Marcus said, his voice turning to a whisper. "I've saved your asses for a long time so when she asks for something... you do it," Marcus said sternly to the boys.
"But--"
"No, I don't want to hear it. If I'm wearing this, you are all wearing it," Marcus said. The boys groaned and I noticed Chase staring the onesies.
"Can I wear the penguin onesie?" he asked.
"No. Unicorns only," Aaliyah and I replied simultaneously.
"But I wanted to wear the lion at least," Xavier said.
Cameron nodded in agreement,"And I wanted a monke--"
Marcus gripped Cameron's collar of his leather jacket and pulled him close,"We are going to be unicorns and we'll be fucking adorable." Marcus tried to say with a straight face but I laughed making him laugh as well.
The boys were still grumpy that they were going to be unicorns for a day.
But what they didn't know was that after we buy the onesies, they were going to wear it for the rest of the day.
I smiled, staring at the onesies. I was looking forward to this.

The journal of a girl who thinks she knows. (Spoiler: She does not know.) "...an odd combination of stream-of-conscious anxieties and high-flying save-the-world goals written by an overzealous, naïve teenaged girl in her wristwatch computer diary."-readers are better at describing stories than the writers who wrote them "When it's over you look up: the world looks the same, but you are somehow different and that feeling lingers for days."-bit OTT but I'll take it "...everything cannot just be good and then be even more good, in this story, right?"-100% accurate assessment "...the plot was bland and the character uninteresting. It was just a very dull read. I cannot recommend this book to anyone."-oh well can't win them all Discord for discussion. Complain about Charlotte's nonsense! Ship the characters! Do a thing! Now entering the second arc, Power Play. Things are getting serious. We're heading towards something important. Charlotte is still largely clueless. But she is trying so hard.
